20 years in showbiz DJ & producer ask:me (aka Melih Ask)´s musical direction forges a sound of real house music because everybody understand house music, as it´s a spiritual thing. He teamed up with Munich´s house giant, B.Vivant who has an obvious commitment and passion for house music since over 15 years. Together they present 'Satisfaction', a deep house vocal bomb, which presents nice sounds from african music tools. So maybe that´s the reason why the brillian south african vocalist, Lokka gave her nice voice for this summer feeling tune. The huge deep impact remix comes from the colognes most wanteds Bedrud & Giese.

Sebastian Fleischer aka Djoker und Mehrklang machen auf der ersten Release
des brandneuen Münchner Labels OPERATION TIGER gemeinsame Sache.
Der Track verbindet sehr homogen Fleichers's deep treibenden groove
mit Mehrklang's stets eigener Stimmfarbe.
Ill-Boy Phil steuert auf dieser Platte einen sehr geschmeidigen Remix bei,
der deutlich seine Handschrift trägt und das Gesamtwerk mehr als abrundet.

ITALIAN MAINSTAY ALLI BOREM RETURNS TO DESOLAT ON THE DESTINATIONS EP Alli Borem has been bubbling under the surface for a few years now, stringing together a couple of fine releases on a diverse range of labels including Suara, Rawthentic, Dirtybird and his own Root50 label. First appearing on Desolat in 2011 and again on 2012, this time the Italian producer makes his third outing with the Destinations EP, which once again showcases his versatility as a producer across these five adventurous and very different tracks. 'Destinations' and 'Direzione Rebibbia' are both warm set builders, with 'Destinations' featuring slowly building piano chords which dominate until a distinctive vocal takes centre stage. 'Direzione Rebibbia' is another rich track, which again simmers away but this time with a glorious meandering Acid bass line and chord stabs. 'Maximum Description' marks a change in direction with mechanical and robotic sounds captivating the listener and transporting them to far away out of space surroundings. Similarly impressive is 'Quorum' with its twisted house aesthetic. Here an off-kilter groove, incessant drum claps, robotic bleeps, and reverberating bass all combine with fantastic results. 'Trip Out' again switches the focus and proceeds at a slower BPM but features shuddering bass, and a repetitive vocal; as the track steams ahead down a Hip-Hop trajectory. It's clear to see that on the Destinations EP Alli Borem delivers a kaleidoscopic snapshot into where he's at, which turns out to be an extremely exciting place. All five tracks on offer show a different side to his production prowess and are evidence of a producer who is not just enjoying himself but at the top of his game.

Two years on from its inception, London's WetYourSelf! Recordings slides in to autumn with the 'Breathe Love' EP from App, aka WYS! resident Peter Pixzel and production partner August Jakobsen.
Over a year since the duo debuted with the Marc Houle remixed 'All I Can Think About', App returns to its WYS! home with the sort of sleek electronic house with organic nods that echoes the duo's respective backgrounds in DJing and classically trained musicianship.
The delicately constructed yet powerful title track sets the scene on 'Breathe Love', with staccato drums and pleasing sine-wave bleeps providing an unobtrusive yet solid framework for pitched vocals and increasingly baroque melodies to create a refreshingly light piece of emotive house.

These guys definitely know what they mean by love it' and the Motor City gets new names again. Stuttgarts Nico Brun shows with his debut Deeper EP' the young hearts' passion for house music. The title track rolls warm through your mind and hypnotizes with the prayer to house. Bobbs' bassline just makes you move, there is no excuse, the best name for 4x4 madness. Nick Beringers dubby touch perfectly leads the night in the morning light. Kevin McHugh aka Ambivalent officially launches his new Amber project with 'Wave of Grain', his debut EP for Mobilee Records. Beginning life as a part a one-off collaboration Jake & Amber on Minus - which resulted in This Is Mine, perhaps the most house track the label ever released - Amber captures the lighter side of McHugh's sound, which shone through in his Ambivalent work, notably via the mischievous vocals of Down or the disco groove of his Plus 8 EP Jackson.! ! Having spent his career to date as part of the Minus collective, Amber marks the starts of a new phase in McHugh's career - no longer obligated to confine his sound to within a very specific label aesthetic, the New York via Berlin producer now enjoys the freedom to take his sound into new area, with Amber representing the house end of the various projects he now has in motion, while his main Ambivalent guise has already begun to widen its scope, with appearances on Turbo, Cocoon, Ovum and Soma in the past couple of years. ! ! Tasked with finding a home for the new Amber sound, Anja Schneider's Mobilee label was the perfect fit for Waves of Grain's combination of fleet-footed house and darker techno undercurrents, and so it proved upon the huge reception for the track's test plays in recent Schneider sets. The A2, Space Album, makes the distinction of the Amber project from McHugh's previous work even more explicit, with a rubbery synth melody and swinging beat putting the funkier elements of his sound front & centre. The vinyl edition of the EP packages the two tracks with a remix from Hobo, which takes the low-slung style of the original and pumps it up into an unashamedly big room house track that's sure to appeal to anyone who went crazy for Hobo's 2013 summer anthem Incise.

Both Feadz and Para One accepted to remix Krazy Baldhead's first EP, this record is very special to me, we pressed 2000 copies. In the meantime, Para One produced the most ambitious french rap album ever, TTC ' Batard Sensible . You can't stop him! ' Beat Down ' and ' Clubhoppn are the new ' Trax on da rocks ' of a generation ready to stage dive, breakdance and rave! After last year's successful 'Deep Love 10' compilation Dirt Crew now bring yet another massive collection of exclusive tracks by label residents and new faces. 'Deep Love 15' is packed with outstanding new releases that vary from the deep grounds of house to the underground sides of techno and disco. Releasing the entire 16 tracks across a five-track EP and bonus 11 track CD (sold as one product) the compilation splits and stretches itself across all formats. The five vinyl tracks are all more towards the deep house side. Funk and soul laden grooves with main house heads 'Brame & Hamo' and 'Nachtbraker' starting off on the A-side, both tracks showing their signature sound written all over. The third track is by label newbies 'Homework' from Amsterdam who Dirt Crew know from their great outings on 'Exploited' and most recently 'Let's Play House', as well as studio neighbours of 'Detroit Swindle' and kind of part of the family already. The B-side is by the UK act 'Voyeur' who made a good name for themselves already with their release on Kerri Chandler's 'Madhouse' label.

Kerri Chandler's Madtech imprint pushes forward this May with a three track single from hotly tipped London duo No Artificial Colours, entitled 'Crying Wolf'.

Madtech Records launched in 2012, and although only twelve releases deep, the roster boasts some of the most hyped up and comers in the industry, from Citizen and Theft through to Voyeur and Krystal Klear. Here the label continues in the same ilk, with some more hyped producers, in the shape of No Artificial Colours aka, Lewis Wright and Ryan Ellis. The pair have been kicking up a storm with their forward thinking take on house as of late, with releases for Nervous, Assembly and Beef Records.

The release kicks off with title track, 'Crying Wolf' here, which sees No Artificial Colours team up with singer Alex Mills, whose heartfelt vocals shook up a storm the world over on Miguel Campbell's 'Something Special'. The cut embraces an old school house aesthetic with a bubbling organ melody, raw shuffling rhythms and subtle nuances in the groove keeping things in an ever-evolving state of play.

Following on is 'Restless Souls' which see the duo work with yet another reputable vocalist in the contemporary house scene, namely, Cari Golden (Crosstown Rebels / Mobilee). The record employs bumpy 909 drums, a modern tipped bass hook and heavily reverberated vocal licks as its driving force, keeping things classy and understated. Last up to close the release is 'Love feat. Sheff', which tightly blends an amalgamation of vocal snippets, alongside a simple yet effective Hammond bass-line and a swinging off-kilter shuffle instilled in the drum programming, again resulting a smooth, new-age house track.

We are very happy to welcome our old friend Pablo Valentino for the second release of 2013. It is no coincidence if Pablo & Dairmount hooked up nearly 10 years ago when Pablo started his imprint Faces, dedicated to leftfield Black music influenced soundscapes rooted in Hip Hop culture. Both sharing a strong sense of underground activism, a deep love of the Black Music tree and a lovely obsession for futuristic sounds, it is no surprise that these two naturally decided to join effort under the Room with A View umbrella.

Pablo's beatmaker science & love of sampling have always been highly appreciated by Phil and it didn't take him long to fall in love with One at first listening. The track displays perfectly the dusty roughness of heavy disco grooves that Pablo likes to give to his House productions. Low key harmonies & catchy Soul & funk samples are no strangers in Pablo's world. True to a spirit reminiscent of the famous Raw Cuts serie of Motor City Drum Ensemble, it is again no surprise that Valentino has been a long time friend & collaborator of Danilo Plessow. Both through their Hipsta Wonkaz production duo (on Faces & Ubiquity) & Pablo's long running curation of Danilo's work on Faces & MCDE Recordings, both friends paved a unique & personal path.

As an A&R, Pablo has pushed the envelope with other unique sound scientists such as The Revenge, RedNose Distrikt or Grooveman Spot. In recent years, Pablo created the Creative Swing Alliance duo with Steven Joyce Ames with who the Strasbourg based omni-man signed brilliant works & remixes on respected labels such as Tsuba, Wolf Music, City Fly, Endless Flight, Quintessentials or K7.

Next up, Pablo's monster original received the magic treatment of Amsterdam's finest Detroit Swindle. One of the hottest dj & production units of the global House scene confirms here why labels like Freerange, Saints & Sonnets or Dirt Crew went bananas to sign their early work. The Dutch duo has made a spectacular & fast rise and is already in high demand all over the planet. Their inimitable blend of melodical grooves, jazzy chords and bumpy bass-lines seemed to be tailor made to translate a new school approach to Pablo's rooted original tune.

We return to Glasgow for Optimo Trax 009. Keeping the family business going so to speak, Jasper is the son of veteran and legendary Glasgow DJ Harri. While he can't help but be inspired by his dad's 30 year plus and still-going-strong dj career and musical knowledge, Jasper is definitely not riding on anyone's coat tails and very much has his own thing going on. A very talented dj and producer in his own right, Jasper is at the forefront of the current generation of Glaswegian dance ambassadors. Flatmate of Jackmaster and receiving lots of props from Skream amongst many others, Twitch was delighted to have the opportunity to release his first record, particularly as he has literally watched Jasper grow up, with fond memories of his dad taking him into record shops before he could even walk.
