Bristolian dream team, Waifs & Strays vs. Lukas meets Chicago legend, DJ Sneak sums up the next Jackathon Jams package from queen of the scene, Heidi. Loaded with bleeps, bumps and bass, Aside 'Gimme Love' is driven by its disco chugging bassline and low slung groove, while the 'Stokes Croft Dub' version gives the track a warped, stoned haze. Second original 'Dance Me (Dance You)' combines heavy low end with more 90s female vox swagger and DJ Sneak delivers his unmistakable funked up Chicago style in a rendition of 'Gimme Luv' with strains of boogie. It was love at first listen for Heidi who announced on BBC Radio 1 that the debut track from Waifs & Strays 'Yeah Yeah' (Leftroom) was the 'dirtiest house track I have heard in a very long time'. It was only a matter of time before they entered the Jackathon Jams hall of fame. Waifs & Strays first broke onto the scene in 2011 with huge releases following on Futureboogie and Hot Creations and Dirtybird. Lukas is another Bristol talent displayed on labels such as local house institution Futureboogie and Moda Black. Often collaborating with label mate Christophe, Lukas also runs the Alfresco Disco events and record label. Getting together with Waifs & Strays in his Stokes Croft studio (between games of basketball), they crafted these two massive tracks for Jackathon Jams. DJ Sneak needs little or no introduction. As one of house music's most outspoken characters and prolific producers (Classic Recordings, Strictly Rhythm, Cajual and own labels Magnetic Recordings and DJ Sneak Records etc), the original house gangsta is now a figurehead in the I'm A House Gangster collective and still completing rocking the worlds best clubs after two decades in the game.

In the six years since their previous artist album, Layo & Bushwacka! have continued to stay at the forefront of the electronic music community via their legendary 'Shake It!' parties, and a consistently impressive stream of releases via their own label 'Olmeto': notable highlights including 'Now Is The Time', 'Summer Gone', and two EP's for Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 imprint.
Their first album was 'Lowlife' on End Recordings in 1999, followed by 'Night Works' on XL in 2002, and 'Feels Closer' on Olmeto in 20

Prime Numbers latest CD compilation featuring a selection of their vinyl releases from 2012.

The CD includes all the Trus'me reworks from last year plus two Nick Sinna tracks and their remixes.
The Trus'me remixes on offer are all-out revisions pushing into new territory but managing to maintain some familiarity to the original tracks.

Both Marcel Dettmann & Ben Klock provide classic workouts in their trademark hynotic techno style. Ryan Elliott & Norman Nodge strip things back with muted-dub chuggers. DVS1 takes things very deep with a throbbing bass heavy production. Whilst Vakula & Terrence Dixon really push the boundaries, paranoid 303 acid and tuff breaks from the former & psyched-out detroit moves from the latter.

Also included are two tracks from Nick Sinna's 'Voyager' E.P along with remixes from JTC aka James T Cotton & Conforce.

Cologne vinyl only operation Rough House Rosie return with a fourth release and a full label debut from Russian producer Shine Grooves (also known to make techno as Quadrat) whose track "Pure Reason" featured on the Silent Movie Sounds I split release issued by RHR earlier this year. The Cairo EP sees the Yekaterinburg-based producer drop five cuts that slip between various moods of house and techno.

Japanese label Ragrange with Japanese Jazz Funk House cuts from No Milk that got a remix treatment. Kez YM goes deep and gives some nasty funky grooves on Kez's Beatdown remix. Stereociti drops a nice sophisticated treatment. Rondenion and No Milk himself, with some nice classy house flavors. Produced in Japan,Manufactured in Detroit,

To coincide with the release of Matt Tolfrey & Ryan Crosson's forthcoming 'Don't Be Leftout' mix compilation, the Leftroom imprint offers up a vinyl sampler of exclusive content produced for the comp. The four track package is set to drop in February ahead of the full release in March and brilliantly showcases the outstanding level of quality found throughout the compilation.

Here we see Larry Heard rework Tolfrey's 'Distant Story' under his Mr. Fingers guise, Crosson delivers some new original content to boot. While one of Leftroom's newest signings, William Kouam Djoko, delivers yet more stunning work following his 'Man Like Me' EP in 2013, and The Classic Music Company head honcho Luke Solomon turns in another refreshingly unique production in the shape of 'Psycho Babble'.

A1 -Try to Say (original mix) 0101begin sperfectly in the peak time with 'Try to Say', a cleverly-constructed jam for fans of minimalist club experimentation. 0101 places soft melodic keys atop a percussive backbone, which pumps out dynamic ally programmed drum patterns throughout. A2 - Try to Say (StrictlyJaz Unit Future Shock RMX): 'Try to Say' is now remixed by SJU, an alias of Boo Williams and Glenn Underground, who introduce a bubbling, acidic interpretation. Classic analogdrums match perfectly the synthesised wobbles that float gently beneath the surface before breaking out truly into sweet psychedelic spaceflight. B1-Kuchukua (original mix): Finally across the whole B side is Kuchukua, a pensive, inward looking cut rich in lush textural auras, glowing keys and rhythmic echo's. Right from the start piercing hi-hats punch right through the mix before a deep bassline rolls us gently into the groove keeping things moving throughout!
