Tone Depth has been making music for many years but he doesnt seem to get older...... He just gets better and better. This is his 2nd release on Noir Music and I can assure you there's more to come in the near future. 'Escape' contain's 3 instrumental and very intense tracks. They are all cleverly build for the underground floors. They each have their own special signature and carry that powerful Tone Depth production level. Each track on this EP immediatley made me 'escape' into the music, took me on a journey and captivated my attention throughout the running minutes of each piece. I have been playing these tracks since the day I received them track by track and they really do grow on you (play for play) like great music always tend to do.

The third record from the YOIONWAX series by YOI absorb a lot of sun, powerful vibes and funky grooves.

YOIONWAXOO3 continues the limited-edition vinyl only series with excellent house music on board and animated artwork.

This time, on both sides of the record, a collective of musicians from Argentina, Chile and the Netherlands gathered, whose tracks take us on a journey through the universe.

This fascinating journey begins the track "SpaceFunk" of a musician from Chile - Astre. Funky vibe is enhanced by Dutchman Jesse Jacob with his track "Dem Funk". Opens side B and takes us into outer space the track from a duo from Argentina - Lafet, named "Cuarzo". The track "Space Trip" of another Argentinian musician - Cosenza, leaves us in weightlessness to traverse the universe.

Our branded animated artwork helps us to find ourselves in space. Do not forget that if you point your phone camera with a flash on the record label during playback, the artworks will come to life. March 2021 - Calou is a music producer from Bern, Switzerland. His sound is catchy, yet extremely dynamic and powerful, tipping the hat off to genres as diverse as deep house, dub, and minimal house. His most recent studio project is an EP titled “Amnesia House,” which features 4 new tracks. The A side features the title track itself, as well as “Miami Heat,” a very energetic and lush original song. The b-side features “Borderland,” another original composition, as well as “Going Up.” What’s special about the B-side tracks is that they are exclusively available on wax - meaning that they are only available to fans who purchase this release on vinyl. Distributed by Vinylfuture, the EP featuring world-class mastering by Rob Small, as well exciting production and songwriting work by Calou himself. Each track explores a different creative concept, highlighting Calou’s remarkably diverse style and compositional attitude. Wa Wu We is the artist alias and vinyl only label from Sebastian Mullaert. This is the fourth chapter, crafted in the Swedish woods. The rst 6 episodes of the Wa Wu We label will form a collection of records, united by their signi cant and unique cover art and the way they’ve been recorded; this being the focus on improvising expression, resting in meditation and the nature surrounding Sebastian’s studio. All 6 of these episodes will be released as vinyl only and will be limited to 500 copies each.

Rising London-based talent Casey Spillman debuts on LOCUS with his latest four-track EP, ‘Bit More Raggo’.

A hotly-tipped name within the UK house and minimal scene, London’s Casey Spillman continues to impress as one of the city’s key emerging DJs, producers and label owners. Founder of his own blossoming imprint Temperature, his releases and remixes via the likes of e1ven records, Sukhumvit and Infuse have gained support from a long list of the scene’s key players - solidifying his growing profile as one of FUSE’s key up-and-coming talents, whilst featuring across a string of their infamous events within the UK capital. Next up, Spillman’s latest outing welcomes a debut on recently launched FUSE imprint LOCUS, delivering four typically impressive cuts in the form of his ‘Bit More Raggo’ EP.

Opening cut ‘What I Say’ delivers a moody, up-front production armed with metallic percussion licks, resonant chords and driving low-ends, whilst the skipping hats and sweeping key leads of the slick ‘Gambling Man’ reveal a classy yet warping journey to close out the A-side. On the flip, ‘Humidity Meter’ introduces a hypnotic combination of shuffling percussion atop of escalating electronics and squelching bass patterns, before closing proceedings via the tripped-out vocals, crisp, raw drum shots and menacing bassline of final track, ‘Commands’.

Seb Zito is no stranger to delivering club-ready hits. He brings his fire to Hot Creations this March, marking his inaugural release on the label.

Nut In Your Mouth instantly commands attention with an infectious vocal hook that ripples around the pounding bassline. Flow is a frenetic offering with a chaotic flow and elements of acid that tightly coil together before unfurling into a rich, unadulterated bass conjuring up a sort of rhythmic voodoo. The EP rounds off with Put Your Phones Down feat. Woodzy. The track utilises a burgeoning synth that grows steadily as a hypnotic vocal line bleeds an air of mysticism into it before Woodzy calls us to put our phones down and get up.

Seb Zito has firmly established himself as a key player on the house and techno scene. One of the core residents of London party starters Fuse, Zito has an unwavering ability to connect with the crowd and regularly plays at some of the world’s most renowned clubs. He runs his own highly-praised imprints Seven Dials and F&Z as well as releasing a slew of well-received EPs on Fuse, Infuse, Play It Say It, Edible, Four Thirty Two, ORIGINS, Rawax & Kaos Theory. 2020 is set to be a seminal year for Seb with plans to grow Seven Dials as a brand and the release of his debut album.

Incoming…! 2020 saw Sports Records on the verge of relegation until we made some major mid-season transfers. New styles, personalities and genres come together on SVA02 to complete an all-star squad. Up first on the A1 track, ‘Sensei Slicer’ aka Ruben Lombroso (1/2 of Shampoo Douglas) scores an absolute screamer with ‘Curling Sweepers Club’. The A2 features the return of Goiz under a new alias ‘Doctor Hotdog’, who just re-signed with the club following his success on the first release with his track ‘Ode to Korrupt FM’. The A3 is covered by one of the club’s founding partners Clyde Corley aka Mr. Liquid. ‘Violence Is Not Legal’, the final track on the A-side, seeks to promote peaceful co-existence among the release and its supporters. The B-side hat trick is headed by our dual threat up top, Alec Falconer and Harry Wills aka Snoozin’ B. Their B1 heavy hitter ‘Hot Take’ is a crowd favorite as it kickstarts a winning second half. The B2 track by Masterplan is the match equalizer. The UKG legend splits the visitors’ defence and rams one home for what is sure to be a future fan favorite. The B3 track is the second Mr. Liquid strike of the night, and is the match winning goal nonetheless.

PIV034 comes from the acclaimed studio of distinguished German producer Sidney Charles, who is widely regarded for his authentic musical approach in the art of sound making. Palermo opens up the package with a spectrum of melodial pads, while the title track Organica takes a steady bassline approach tied down with crafty chords. Paz revives the true garage atmosphere, before closing on another infectious groove with Cabo.

For their big debut on Moon Harbour, CamelPhat have linked up with Cari Golden, the voice of modern house music, for a superb new single that comes backed with a remix from label
head Matthias Tanzmann.

The British, Grammy-nominated duo CamelPhat have risen from the underground to go on to global prominence. Their big house sounds often feature guests and collaborators. They have released on labels like Defected, Sola and Snatch! and now serve up another of their
timeless tunes with Cari Golden, who has featured with the diverse likes of Groove Armada, DJ T and Roger Sanchez on plenty of Beatport number ones. She can sing on sunny boat
party sounds as well as raw warehouse tunes with equal style, and here offers something brilliantly intense.
The intoxicating 'Freak' is a high impact affair designed for big rooms. The techno tinged drums are overlaid with Golden's paranoid vocals. Her dark delivery is matched by the turbulent bass and taught synths that add to the sense of tension that will sweep the dance
floor off its feet.

Remixing is the German Matthias Tanzmann, who is in fine form as he strips things back to a bubbling, pressurised Tech House groove. He layers in sweeping white noise, chattery claps and the original vocal as well as plenty of freaky effects to make for a track that will flip
dancers inside out.

This is another high-grade release from all concerned.

We're excited to announce a new face to our label roster: DkA, hailing from Brussels, arrives on Break New Soil with a storm of a release! When Ugur Akkus, founder of Extrema Belgium and a close friend of ours handed these tracks to Gregor Tresher when he played a show at his infamous Labyrinth Club in Antwerp earlier this year, Gregor listened to the music on the flight back home and before the airplane even touched the ground he was convinced to sign the tracks immediately!

Ever since - Solar , the A-Side track, that Antoine composed together with Jon Mosto, has been one of the peaktime moments in Gregor's sets. And with the two additional tracks - The Light and - Sunset", that show the versatility of DkA as an artist, this package was actually complete. Still, we couldn't resist to give it that little extra in form of a remix by our friend Sian's, who transformed the original - Solar" into a weapon for the dark warehouse floors!

HVOB release first live album and tour documentary

77 sold-out concerts in places such as Buenos Aires, New York, Mexico City, and the Funkhaus Berlin, stops in 34 countries and four continents: the Rocco world tour in 2019 once again underlined the role played by Vienna duo HVOB in the world of electronic music.

One of the highlights of the tour was in London on April 13, at the filled-to-capacity "Electric Brixton" music venue. The evening had already been planned in advance as an album, a lot of effort went into recording it in its entirety. "Live in London" will be the first live album by HVOB. It will be released on March 11.

A short documentary by Nicola von Leffern will be released at the same time as the album. The film director from Hamburg accompanied HVOB on tour and it delivers a very intimate, unfiltered insight into the musical lives and the routine aspects of touring for the normally publicity-shy HVOB duo Anna Müller and Paul Wallner.
HVOB are currently working on a new studio album that is provisionally scheduled for release in spring 2022.

These Tasty Records strikes back with its second instalment, entering 2021 in absolute class.

Opening the ball with 'Retour', it is none other than Cesare setting an essential mood setter, followed by label head Aymeric's 'Old Mechanics' put at work into an acid, proggy and spooky bomb.

'Kapox' by Hubz starts the B-side by soothing the vibe, transporting us straight into the depths of the universe, followed by Muraca's 'Acid Taste', landing the spaceship smoothly and safely back on Earth.

Alex Kassian steps up for his first solo 12" on Love On The Rocks with 'Oolong Trance', a driving, tropical-tinged uplifting acid trip in 'Club' and 'Paradise' mixes and a supercharged 'ADHS' mix from Telephones.

Kassian is no stranger to the label, which celebrated its fifth birthday last year with the 4-part 'Supergau' compi-lation that opened with Kassian's 'Chopstick Romance'. He also remixed Ghost Vision in 2018 on their Love On The Rocks debut, 'Shakuhachi'.

Young Kassian from Kyoto, who has the silkiest hair in house, has recently been enjoying success alongside his longtime collaborator Hiroaki OBA as Opal Sunn, taking their live show on tour around Europe and Asia with stops at Field Maneuvers in the UK and Panorama Bar in Berlin. Their first releases on their own imprint, Planet Sundae, got the attention of the late Andrew Weatherall (RIP) and early support from the likes of DJ Sprinkles and Nick Höppner, who released their last two EP's on his label, Touch From A Distance: 'Parallax' in late 2018, and 'Laika', earlier this year.

As well as being Kassian's debut on the label, 'Oolong Trance' is the first Love On The Rocks record for 2020, so, what's in the tea?

The Club mix is classic Kassian: big kicks, driving percussion, swirling pads, a tropical sunrise, a celestial or-gan and a large dash of acid. The Paradise Mix is what you get when you let it brew a couple seconds longer: off the charts trance levels and Alex delivering some truly ecstatic piano work, channelling the spirit of a young George Michael, truly intoxicated on the Oolong drank.

Telephones also delivers a hell of a brew, with his 9-minute, 90s house and garage inflected 'ADHS' remix tak-ing the keys off in yet another direction and delivering a energetic, Chicago-inspired oddball rework with hints of Detroit and more than a few drops of old school, classic house spiritualism. The tea, as they say, is particularly good today.

The 4th release on Sofia by KiNK is all about warmth. The harmonies are deep, the instruments are muffled, the rhythms are humanised. Even when some of the tracks are getting a bit aggressive, they are not hurting, but giving the right amount of energy and surprise. This record is built from some of the live streams Strahil was doing during the pandemic lockdown in April. "101 Reasons" is a track with disco epic-ness and techno attitude. It captures KiNK's dream of being on the sweaty floor again, surrounded by dancers, one big family, like it used to be. "Dreamer" is low key house music, with melodies, leaking between the notes and the rhythms are somehow derailing, but instead of chaos, you get that dreamy feeling like if you watch a ribbon in the sky. The phenomenal Dutch artist Frits Wentink delivers a tighter version of the track with his unique swing on the drums and extra chords, which uplift the track with new energy. The closing song "Set The Mood Right" is recorded with his usual collaborator Rachel Row on the vocals. It's a very relaxed downtempo track, which takes an unexpected turn and it's a perfect open end for the record. A warm record for the cold days.

Pianos, Pianos and more Pianos! Alan Dixon's overdue return to Running Back evolves around the black and white keys. Starting out with the main mix of "Acid Drop", Dixon unites the groan of a TB 303 with the life-affirming principle of a piano breakdown. Would have sounded as good on the floors of Ibiza's or Riccione's roofless clubs of yesteryear, as it would in club basement's of today (temporarily defunct) and did in Gerd Janson's Bali Boiler Room. Please turn to the "Swimming Mix'. to lighten the load or for the mellow after-the-rave moments on inflatable mattresses. Complemented by "Poye Loco", the piano theme gets a down tempo treatment that is cut out of the same cloth as espadrilles or the tunes that DJ Harvey likes to describe as "adult dance music". Finally, "Rudy's Spector" closes the gap between a Ryuichi Sakamoto soundtrack and a Style Council ballad (while Paul Weller is on a tea break). DJs and home listeners unite! Noir Music is touching another classic to be refreshed for 2012. The Track
by Hollis P Monroe is a real alltime House hit originally released on
Stickman in 1997. Newest vibes are added by Subb-an (Crosstown
Rebels, Saved), Larse (known for his hits 'The More I Want' and
'So Long'), Laura Jones (Leftroom, Visionquest) and SIS (Cecille, Get
Physical) who just turned it into a 12 minutes techno monster.

We welcome to the Kompakt family one of our local Cologne heroes, "Jonathan Kaspar". We’ve appreciated him from afar for some time now thanks to his releases on Crosstown Rebels, Pets Recordings, Ouie and of course our own KX imprint. His single “Renard” was a highlight of our recently released TOTAL 19 collection, so it was time to make our relationship official with a 4 track EP.

Opener “Kern” leads with layers of melodic synths power charged around a playful house rhythm. For the digital release he offers up a Percussion Edit that is intended to bring more depth to the charge. “Zentrum” is for that peak time pace … elevating melodies caress a swelling mid-tempo beat. Not to mention one of the biggest breakdown’s we’ve had the pleasure to release in some time.

We move to “Licht” which literally sounds like it soars, then back to earth comes “Kante” – the most techno inspired track of the EP – an oscillating synth rips through solid low end bass frequencies – with Jonathan Kaspar skillfully demonstrating prime time, peak and valley production. “Kante EP” brings out his emotive, high energy style of writing and producing in a means that could be pointed to as his best work to date.

Infuse welcomes Pierre Codarin with an excellent three track release, ‘Pork Chop Express’, featuring a great KOKO remix to boot!

Pierre has been bubbling on the underground surface for few years now, releasing material on respected labels such as Adult Only, LAATE, Tervisio and his self-titled label was launched at the beginning of 2016 and has seen heady plays from the industries peers with each release granting praise from the media, DJ’s and collectors. Pierre brings a very raw and rich sound in both his productions and Performance with a very in-depth knowledge of record selection leaning towards a nostalgic U.S. and U.K. influence.

The title track ‘Pork Chop Express’ is a driving, rib-rattling, pad-infused, triumph of a track causing quite a stir on the floor. On the flip and ‘Lo Pan’ jacks the tempo and gets rough as Pierre drops a smorgasbord of key fills and stabs to keep this beast a grooving! Finally, following on from their brilliant ‘Generation K’ EP on Infuse early this year, KOKO deliver a blistering dance-floor led remix of ‘Pork Chop Express’, perfectly rounding off this great package.

Resketch Records’ first release strikes with 4 very talented artists and tracks made for music enthusiasts.

On side A1 the Berlin based Ema Remedi delivers a cycling minimalistic groove, hypnotizing!

A2 is what its name say, a timeframe with funky melodic sounds and rhythmic percussions, made by the label owner himself, Cajetanus.

B1 is produced by the well known guys from UK, Acanalar. Sleep Patterns is a loopy house tune with some stripped back grooves, made for clever dancers.

Daniel Gorziza completes the release with a warm drifting pad sound, a strong underlaying beat for keeping the track forward with purpose.

Emilio Acevedo, the man behind Lasser Drakar is a proper Electronic / Indie veteran. Being involved in several projects since the late 80´s. Founder of the band TITAN with which he has put out four albums in which they have collaborated with figures like Gary Newman and Egyptian Lover. With his duos “Sonido Lasser Drakar” and “Maria Daniela Y Su Sonido Lasser” he approached dance music in his own high energy pop way always with a touch of humor. “Back in 2006, when I had recently opened my first little bar in Playa del Carmen “Corvette Ninja”, Emilio came to town to perform live with Maria Daniela to La Santanera, where I was a resident DJ. Besides his performance there, he agreed to do a solo DJ set at my little place, I was super flashed by the music he was playing which included some amazing covers and references . When he finished playing I had to ask what all that was… he told me most of it was un edited material he had produced basically just to DJ… I was even more flashed… Ten years passed and we met again in Playa del Carmen having dinner before a show where he was playing with his band and I was Djing… I asked him about that music I was so flashed about a decade ago and he told me he still had it, most of it just in those CD´s he used to play, still unreleased… I asked him if he could send it to me to play it and so he did during the next weeks… Every time I would open a file I would be amazed and every time I would play those tracks, the reactions were amazing and often people on my side would ask me what the hell was that… So at some point I had to ask… “Would you like to release this on our Label??” Lucky me, he was up for it and here we are now in 2019 releasing his first solo material under the Lasser Drakar name, the tracks he produced between 2001 and 2004 which in my opinion happen to be more modern than lots of the things you find these days.”

The lake might be freezing in this cold winter, but the carp go with the icy flow bringing some hot material on KOI003 that comes from Ukrainian rising talent Peshka. Oriental EP sees the young Ukrainian producer go full-on-force with two captivating originals that meander between twisted drum arrangements and hefty basslines, leaving the necessary space for intriguing and melodic sounds to rise freely. On the remix duties, the label welcomes Romanian spearhead Arapu who delivers a massive "hands-up heads-down" reinterpretation of "Orient", turning the original into a basement destroyer.

Judging by the massive success of THE ORB's latest longplayer MOONBUILDING 2703 AD (KOMPAKT 330 CD 124) with critics and fans alike, we're not the only ones who can't get enough of the trippy electronica from pioneers Alex Paterson and Thomas Fehlmann which is why we were truly thrilled to welcome the duo on the 2016 instalment of our POP AMBIENT compilation series with the joyously meandering cut ALPINE DAWN. However, this was only one piece of a psychedelic puzzle, with the full ALPINE trilogy now getting the attention it deserves. Spiritually and texturally akin to ALPINE DAWN, ALPINE MORNING starts off with actual cowbells and looping synth pads, changing lanes several times and introducing a relaxed downbeat flavor mid-track. This serves as an ideal primer for centerpiece ALPINE EVENING, which comes comfortably grounded in a heavy-duty rhythm section reminiscent of classic Kompakt stomp.

Priori guides us through the mist with his serene remix of Vanilight, reminding us to pack lightly. 2DS is bleep of a deeper order. This is the first release on NAFF recordings, a Montreal based label piloted by Adam Feingold and Francis Latreille.
