Hector & David Gtronic join forces once again on the sixth installment from the Tervisio series. Including four original cuts ranging from stripped back 90s house grooves, mystical synths, massive basslines and continuous beats. After their successful ‘Holding On EP’ was released during the beginning of the year on the Vatos Locos imprint. Their collaboration project continues with 'Life's A Risk EP'.

Gudu Records returns with its fourth release, courtesy of a debut EP from London-based newcomer, JRMS. His music will already be anyone who has caught Gudu boss Peggy Gou's DJ sets over the past couple of years, with JRMS tracks being mainstays of her mixes, including her 2019 DJ-Kicks compilation.

The memorable title track is a percussive, elasticated house delight, blending springing breaks with disorienting rave stabs. This taste for naive melody is further cemented on the loose-limbed 'Shake', while '3' defies it's purely numeric title with gleefully offbeat electro and a shuffling card deck of drums leading forward delicious oscillations. Finally, 'Solo' cruises on with space and sunsets in mind, a rich house journey that underscores both the distinct and versatile promise of JRMS.

Live At Robert Johnson kicks off 2021 with a new cut above the rest thanks to Benjamin Fröhlich, who dons a cosmic Acid-to-Italo four-track EP. Whether „Club Fantasy“ insinuates the phantasy of clubbing in times of a pandemic shutdown in global club cultures, or a club by the name of it, lies within the ears of the listeners. Either way, Benjamin’s ties with the Robert Johnson club can be heard resonating throughout this fantastic EP.

Club Fantasy (Club Version) introduces a a happy 303 reminiscent bouncy bassline, supported by relentless rim shots, fast-forwards the Club Version of the title track directly into the uplifting domains of well-established sounds. Sparse echoing vocal snippets, encouraging us to dance, and by the time the piano stabs finally kick in, it’s all hands up for your very own club phantasies. Club Fantasy (Fantasy Version) boasts a less peaky signature, while working a more playful and driving treatment of the title track, supported by mellow strings, a harder kick and subtle room reverberation. On the flip-side, Escape presents a warm, emotional and cinematic Italo soundscape, featuring floating arpeggios, which flash like coloured strobes in the dark. Benjamin’s final track, Dream Machine, is a beautiful kaleidoscope of sounds, slightly more energetic yet moody, that is sure to catch everyone's ears on the dancefloor.

As a co-founder to Munich based record label Permanent Vacation, but also as a DJ and producer, Benjamin Fröhlich’s musical involvement traces back many years in the Cosmic Disco and Balearic scene, and into the networks of both Robert Johnson club and its label.

Fresh from producing an impeccable run of singles under his Special Request guise, Paul Woolford returns to the Hotflush camp on ferocious form, providing two spectrum-spanning cuts, one of which has already been certified as a bona fide Ibiza
anthem. That honour belongs to the A-side's 'Untitled', which
has garnered fervent support from the likes of Joy Orbison, Midland and Ben UFO, and has been named the track of the summer by the folks behind We Love @ Space. Its compelling groove lays a foundation on which Woolford balances a timeless
piano line, thumping bass stabs and the kind of infectious refrain that's come to define the label's exuberant output of late.
On the flip, the vinyl-only track 'Overload' is a different beast altogether, displaying his technical expertise to meld a barrage of throbbing toms, militant kick drums and sparse breaks, that further
draw upon the influence of jungle and techno which has proved so fruitful for him of late, whilst harking back to the tense, hybrid excursions that litter the label's back catalogue....

Adam Nahalewicz made an impressive debut with the warm, bubbling house cut he dropped on Recycle, and now Aesthetic have snapped him up for an EP that expands on the promise of that sole track. "Quiver" leads the way with a wonderfully dynamic strain of bumping tech house peppered with fluid sound design and pinprick textures, while on the flip "Level Up" brings a fresh dose of warm, melodic synth work into the mix while still riding that oh-so crisp groove. "A.M. Rhythm" is equally melodious, albeit a little smoother on the rhythm side of things and with a gentle nature that should suit the up all night crowd beautifully.

One track was recorded with each synthesizer in Studio Styrka, Sweden 2005, then and a cassette box with 16 tracks was released in the extremly limited edition of one copy. The Human Pinacolada LP from 2009 is made out of 8 of these tracks, splendidly beatless, harsch, solid & sometimes beautiful. Our first release, codenamed HPNHS001, is, as planned, the sound of our parties pressed on vinyl. 4 artists from three countries and 2 hemispheres of Earth with tracks that will sound equally good at 2:00 and 7:00 (and even at 12:00).
A1 coming from head of Tone Dropout label - an icon of that new wave of British breakbeat, electro and acid - Dawl with the typical for himself and perfect for the A1 position banger “Output”.
A2 - resident of Closer and the letter T in the word THP (we don't need to explain those names, right?) - Trippsy with a “Flashback” jam. His vinyl debut, by the way.
B1 - 105 years ago his grandfather was born in our city, now Fede Lijtmaer manages the El Milagro Records in Uruguay and is responsible for the sound of his country along with such monsters of recent years as Z@p or DJ Koolt. We have him here with the Lviv-Uruguayan track "Passing By".
B2 is a sip of fresh Crimean wind from Wulffius, who previously became the first Ukrainian release on Wicked Bass Records and was released at Banlieue Records. His “Salty Breeze” closes our compilation and immediately becomes its main secret weapon.

Searching for new ways to express himself, Maarten Smeets (one half of Detroit Swindle) has found a new perspective on music in his alter ego “Wanderist”. Here, he shares his unique view on contemporary electronic music with strong influences from dub, electro, techno and ambient in tempo’s that match the intensity, funk and drive of his sound. As Wanderist, he has been writing some of his more abstract work of recent times. His sound is melancholic yet euphoric, using powerful loops and dreamlike melodies to create a dense flow in his compositions. His debut release is signed to Aus music later in 2020 and he has also launched his own label titled ‘Transient Nature’ where his own work will be released along with the work of like-minded artists. With a large catalog of music ready to release and collaborations with various labels planned for 2021, the future is bright for Wanderist.

The ascending bass line on the flipside 'La Caballa', is supported by white noise and a rising synth that will make any dancefloor erupt into a heated flow of energy.

Kamai Music 7th release comes from the Argentinian duo ermesse. A1: ‘Esperanza’ (hope in Spanish) stands out for it's trippy & melancholic synthesizer line. A2: ‘Utopia’ feels like a journey through the desert on a camels back on acid. A warm repetitive and uplifting soundscape that opens up in the heart of the track. Egg London’s What Came First Recordings host Swiss producer Eveline Fink’s Morning Contrast EP, featuring 2 minimal groove infused cuts with remixes by German maestro Tobi Neumann and club’s resident Kyle E.

Electronic music has long fascinated Eveline Fink and her debut on WCF ties in for her love of minimal sounds, in both laid-back and club-orientated environments.

Influences from the past, the present and perhaps even the future are the key elements behind her sonic vision. The first track 'Contrast' opens the EP, a stripped back production with subtle vocal samples to give off a dark, moody feel to the track.

Keeping in tune with the minimal feel of this release, 'Morning Dust' has an alluring lead melody with a wavering bassline. A touch of tribal percussion also gives the track a Balearic feel.

Tobi Neumann's remix of 'Contrast' is an intensely hypnotic take on the original, blending twinkling melodies with crisp percussion throughout.

Kyle E's 6AM Remix of 'Morning Dust' is a beautiful dub production with a stunning break at the 3rd minute mark, with the result in ending the EP on a high.

Guri has been on the forefront of the emerging Balearic house music scene since 2011. DJ, producer and one third of the electronic live band Round Shaped Triangles. He has released his music on top-notch labels like Wolf + Lamb, Nite Grooves or Sub_Urban, where he also works as AR. On his vinyl debut, Guri shows us that he feels like fish in the water producing the most undergound side of house music.

"Into The Light" and "House Of Life" are two timeless deep house masterpieces, whose common denominator is a powerful bubbly bassline that hits you in the chest like the toughest heavyweight boxer. Catchy female disco voices and ethereal pads add to both tracks the necessary atmosphere to become two psychedelic and adrenaline trips.

The first remix comes by the always amazing Ruff Stuff. His rework is strongly influenced by Detroit 90's techno, with minor and melancholic chords, strong rhythms and an underground and raw sound. Quality at its best! Iban Montero & Jazzman come back to Cyanide to put the icing on the cake with the funkiest thang you've heard in a long time. Yes! These guys have more funk than Shaft driving a Chevelle through Harlem, and this track is no exception. Pure fire!

Focus On Egoless comes again behind an electrical EP on board. After few months of isolation studio sessions, Moray and Andrew (the guy behind the mask of Different Reflexion) start a project protecting the most versatile face of the union, portrayed on the record.
Three massive cuts, warm-ups rhythms, power coloured sets and peak time hours, joined by an atipic Dieru’s remix choosing some hypnotic vibes to get “the cherry on the cake”.

Finally, the battle is about to reach its thrilling finale after three exhausting rounds. Our pugilists are staggering on their feet and the bookies are running around frantically, taking the final bets. Will the Bad Guys suckerpunch the Good Guys into oblivion, or does team Good have an epic deathmove in store for its malevolent adversaries Amsterdam native Nachtbraker steps back into the arena for the fourth chapter in the saga. The Quartet Series label boss and Heist and Dirt Crew mainstay has defected to the bright and sunny Good Guys. Piano chords, chopper effects and toms are the main ingredients of his funk-laden and groovy energy drink. Better than steroids they say. Laurence Guy (Church, Rose Records) joins forces or heads in this particular case with a much-needed supplement that tugs on your heartstrings with its lush keys and deep pads. This London lad has been stirring up the scene with his flawless and addictive chords, not to mention the big support he's getting from maestro Move D. Will this dapper duo be strong enough to floor the misfits featured on the flip Great precaution is imperative with two heavyweights in the other corner. First mr. Tommy Vicari Jnr (Cabinet Records, YAY Recordings, AMMO84) comes barging in. This Sheffield veteran has been making killer cuts for years now and is about to step into the ring with his slamming snares, and wonkly wobbly bassline swinging around a phat kick. To keep both The Bad Guys feet on the ground LK (Shall not Fade, Hokkaido Dance Club) adds some extra meat with a deep, heavy bassgroove, while a sexy vocal and steady chords create that gangsta vibe that will boost the Bad Guys' confidence.

The third installment of the Neotropiq series sees London’s Silverlining dropping three huge bombs, fresh out his South London studio. Do not snooze!

Massive Split EP from Noir Music - pure energy.

The seventh volume of Drumcode's annual A-Sides compilation hits with no less than 10 debuts for the label, with Charlotte de Witte, ANNA, B.Traits and Scuba's SCB project, among the collection of topline artists to release their maiden productions on the imprint.

Over two decades into its lifespan, Drumcode keeps evolving and excelling, pushing techno forward while remaining wholly respectful of its roots. This reputation for progression was further fuelled this summer with its inaugural festival at the NDSM Docklands in Amsterdam, featuring a long list of heavyweights including Nicole Moudaber, Joseph Capriati, Amelie Lens and Ida Engberg, among others.

As ever, the A-Sides compilation provides a timely opportunity to showcase the full range of its sonic repertoire, with Adam Beyer scrupulously selecting unreleased tracks that have taken prime position in his sets over recent months.

Part 4 see's Alan Fitzpatrick, who's been heavily featured across the A-Side series, join forces with Scuba as he operates as his uncompromising alias SCB. The result is a propulsive floor-gripper that testifies to their masterful deftness as co-producers.

Rounding off the A side British techno alchemist Boxia sets out to impress with 'Final Call' which elicits physical engagement with mellifluous vocals and soaring pads.

On the B side Jay Luman unleashes 'Stella Luca' another bomb that has featured in Adam Beyers sets over the festival season. Dynamic drums & an uplifting top line melody intertwine all the way through with all the trademarks of this being yet another smash by the infamous Hungarian techno producer and DJ.

Closing part 4, emerging talent Weska is brought into the fold, with the razor-sharp track 'Other Places' that is primed to do lasting damage.

Argentine producer Leonel Castillo unveils yet another moniker with this new eponymous 77KS series.

Remaining the best-kept secret the Latin American electronic music scene has brought to us so far, Leonel is an icon and at the same time virtually unknown.

A stylistic chameleon and an ultra talented jack-of-all-trades, he is hard to pinpoint, and even harder to categorize. Steadily releasing three acclaimed studio albums that display his keen sense of musicality, mood and arrangement, he has proved that he is highly accomplished at providing more than just dancefloor fodder. His fourth album ‘\\\\’ four is now ready to be unleashed: the glorious pinnacle of his studio efforts to date. Where his first two albums ‘Future History’ and ‘From A Deep Place’ saw Voorn draw inspiration from Detroit Techno, this new album finds its inspiration in the European electronic scene of the mid-’90s. From the crossover success of acts like Underworld, The Prodigy and Orbital through to bastions of hard techno and ambient like R&S Records, it’s the fertile and rapidly-evolving sounds of his formative musical years that he has looked back on with such reverence for this majestic record. “I believe the mid-90s was the most inspiring time to be listening to electronic dance music” he says. “Artists were discovering new sounds and genres every single day, never again has there been so much innovation in such a short time. Where in the very early-’90s it sounds like most producers were still using their equipment in quite a basic way, around ’94/’95 the same artists mastered their instruments and studios to create masterpieces that still sound inspiring 25 years later. The backslashes of the title refer both to this being his fourth album experience and a nod to the design of the ‘V’ from Voorn in his logo. “Like my previous albums, it’s a collection of tracks that I’ve worked on over the last few years” says Voorn. “Some even date from before my last album ‘Nobody Knows’. As an electronic music artist, I’ve always worked on many different sounds, whether it’s dance music or more atmospheric or experimental melody driven music. ‘\\\\’ is no different in this.” Featuring collaborations with Voorn’s heroes Underworld, British trip-hop outfit HÆLOS, the South African poet Lazarusman and Dutch pianist Michiel Borstlap, the record exercises his wide variety of tastes. From tried-and-tested dancefloor workouts through to introspective, languid compositions, it’s a beautifully varied package. Guitar plucks rub up against delicate synth arpeggios, crashing breakbeats contrast soulful vocals, dulcet piano tones glide over ghostly hip-hop rhythms and classic techno stabs permeate among atmospheric pads. While texture and cadence vary, it’s the melodic content that ties the record together. “As always in my music, melodies are important on ‘\\\\’. They are what defines me as an electronic music artist the most. The album features some tracks I’ve played out in my sets for a long time — which represent my work as a DJ and dance music artist — tied together with tracks where the drums are less prominent and melodies or synth arpeggios are the driving force.”

A four track vinyl sampler of the new compilation series from Crosstown Rebels, allow us to introduce Spirits. Label founder Damian Lazarus has compiled what he describes as 'a fresh psychedelic journey into the mind', aiming to bring together a collection of new artists from both his imprints.

Opening up is Audiojack's 'Reverie'; a heavy kick from the start is succeeded by spoken word on the subject of meditation sets the scene appropriately. dubspeeka's 'Lyssa' is next up with a sturdy bassline, eerie synths and a haunting melody reminiscent of yesteryear.

On the flip and Alice Rose seduces in 'Another Way' produced by Raw District. Her voice, similar to that of Bjork, perfectly encompasses the heavy bassline and hard-hitting percussion.Finally 'Be Mine' by Siopis featuring Ellbee Bad gets straight into the action with hard-hitting reverberated low notes, steadily building up through sentimental vocals and enticing synthesis

Dutch producer Chris Stussy has been seriously busy in the past couple of years dropping slick and slender tech house on labels like Eastenderz, Rutilance, Djebali and Moscow Records. Now he appears on Constant Sound with yet more sophisticated dancefloor gold. "Take A Leap Of Faith" leads the charge with a driving yet delectably dubbed out take on peak time tech house, peppered with vocal slices and a cheeky acid rub. Relic offers up a remix that straps a sharp, swinging garage house beat to the track with excellent results. "Point Loma" is a funky workout with some cracking slap bass hits, and "Limerence" gets a little quirky without losing that immersive atmosphere of the lead track.

Following on from 2010´s critically acclaimed album "Inside", Spanish duo Aphro and Pablo Bolívar aka Pulshar return to Desolat with the "Different Drum EP", and all four tracks showcase the deeply hypnotic yet richly soulful sounds which the duo are synonymous with. Opener "Wasting Time" is a collaboration with Desolat label head Loco Dice. The track, which was creating during a jam session between these friends, is a deep and twisted journey, with ocean-deep sub-bass, and features Loco Dice´s own distorted vocals which echo in and out of the music. On "So Tired", Pulshar have expertly crafted a captivating rich soundscape packed full of warm textures and atmospheres. "Different Drum" is a similarly engaging and uplifting track complete with soaring synths and crisp drums. The 12" is rounded up by the standout "She´s Got A Ticket", with its infectious groove, rich sounds and contagious vocal layered over its psycadelic rhythm. On "Different Drum" Pulshar have demonstrated with aplomb why over the last few years their distinctive and soulful brand of psychedelic electronic music has been turning heads and moving
dancefloors.

With several collaborations already under their belt, including 2017’s esteemed Implications EP, Gruuv-bosses Audiojack and American-talent Kevin Knapp make a return to Crosstown Rebels in February with Under Your Skin. The release, taken from Audiojack’s forthcoming May album, includes a club edit of the single as well as a remix and dub version courtesy of Hessle Audio mainstay Pearson Sound.

The club cut of Under Your Skin takes the lead, pairing punchy kick-hat combos against a tension-building breakdown before the hard-hitting four-four bassline is swiftly brought back in. The single version comes next, taking no prisoners with a breakbeat backbone that brings Kevin’s lyrics to the forefront, paving the way for UK-talent Pearson Sound as he serves up five minutes of glitchy, dancefloor-ready breaks on the main remix. Rounding off the release is the Skeleton Dub, a
tripped-back late-night creeper that showcases the UK-talent at his best.

Leeds-born Ibiza-based Audiojack have been carving out a unique sound for over a decade. Earning their stripes with several standout releases on 20:20 Vision in the late 2000s, it was in 2010 that the duo launched their own label, Gruuv, welcoming the likes of Bushwacka!, Pawsa and Josh Butler in recent years. US-native Kevin Knapp is a leading figure in the contemporary house sphere, having cemented his standing as a true heavy-hitter with recent productions on Dirtybird and Repopulate Mars. London-based Pearson Sound has established himself as a prolific producer over the years with an array of standout releases on Hessle Audio, including this summer’s Alien Mode, as well as on his own self-titled label.

Claude VonStroke was recently turned on to Nikki Nair by watching Nala's TV Party on the Dirtybird Live streaming network. She played one of his remixes and immediately VonStroke became infatuated with his sound. A cross between breaks, drum & bass, and old-school Dirtybird vibes, Nikki became an instant favorite. His 4-track EP “Power Tool” is a hot record foreshadowing the label's future direction in 2021 when the rules will get loose and its not all going to be about tech house anymore.

We are pleased to announce the next vinyl only release on Pathway Traxx and an exciting new direction for the label focusing on the more minimal/tech side of house while still maintaining its true house roots. Rising Dutch talents Chris Stussy & Toman reveal their collaborative ‘Timewriter’ EP on new FUSE imprint LOCUS this July.

A leading collective at the forefront of the UK electronic music scene for over a decade, FUSE and label founder Enzo Siragusa continue to set the standard when it comes to releasing consistent and quality underground electronic music alongside hosting stand-out global events which encapsulate the brand’s principles – and 2020 has been no different, revealing a complete refresh to the core label whilst introducing a new project into their family tree. Launched by Siragusa and team to kickstart summer, new label LOCUS’ ethos will welcome material from across the house sphere, uncovering new music from rising talents and showcasing material from leading names alike. Having welcomed emerging Italian talent and Infuse artist KOKO to launch the imprint, the label now welcomes two of Amsterdam’s hottest property as PIV co-owner Chris Stussy and ever impressing No Art regular Toman combine to offer up their collaborative four-track ‘Timewriter’ EP to open July.

Title cut ‘Timewriter’ opens proceedings in classy fashion as hazy chords and bumping low-ends meet sweeping synths and infectious, filtered vocal hooks, whilst ‘Serendipity’ combines chunky bass licks alongside further delicate vocals and track accents throughout. On the flip, the lively ‘Zerlon’ ups the energy levels and journeys into a hypnotic trip through evolving lead lines and warped electronics, before closing with the wonky, off-kilter programming of ‘Boiling Point’ – a twisting production guided by organic percussion licks atop of cavernous bass hits to offer up an entrancing cut perfect for the after-hours.

The 27th of March will see one of this year’s most sought-after releases, as Paradise founder and Hot Creations head Jamie Jones teams up with long-term friend and Paradise resident Alan Fitzpatrick on Fairytale Frequency. The stunning two-tracker is the debut collaboration from two of electronic music’s most in-demand talents and, as expected, the end result is an outstanding offering that showcases both artists at their best.

The lead track Fairytale Frequency instantly showcases the bespoke sounds of both artists. From the get-go we witness the tell-tale signature of Jamie in the tribal drum patterns and whispering female vocal hooks, whilst Alan’s trademark club sound comes through in the pulsing, acid-twinged lead synth. Sundancing rounds things off. Soulful and soothing, the track is reminiscent of Hot Creation’s early days with it’s warming bassline and deep, emotive vocals, as gentle hats converge on light kicks to form a Baleric-inspired closing cut that tugs deeply on the heartstrings.

As a world-renowned DJ and producer, head of Hot Creations and founder of the global Paradise event series, Jamie Jones has etched out a legacy on electronic music that few can attest to. His personally curated Paradise series offers an international showcase of house and techno’s most recognisable artists. A long term Paradise resident, Alan Fitzpatrick has risen to the upper echelons of electronic music with a constant stream of outstanding releases on the likes of Drumcode and his very own We Are The Brave label.

We salute our 20th release by returning to where it all began: with one of SCDD’s co-conspirators and the inaugural release for the label, Mall Grab.

Posthuman has taken his sound to a fresh area which is complimented by remixes by none other than Luke Vibert, with an ice-cool swung-groove, Black Girl/White Girl with a full on pounding Techno workout and on the digital package, newcomers Mac & Ward do the big room House thing to perfection! In addition we’ve included “Find Me On The Edge of Town”.. an acid-kissed piece of Techno which sits the cherry ontop of an awesome release for us on Food.

Strahinja Arbutina is fast becoming one of those artists you need to keep your eye on. With his first vinyl release on New York's industrial label Bank last year, he has no issue with making your ears bleed. Here he dons 4 tracks for Vivod and they're all brutal. First off is Way Ahead, straight up 4/4 industrial techno. A2 is the aptly named Croatian Households, more of a broken piece but still haunting in its rhythmic neg dynamics. B1 is Labud Loop, probably the most accessible track of the 4 as it's nearer to straight up techno, fans of Levon Vincent will like. Closing the ep is K stands For... with a slow burning break beat and vocals screaming incomprehensibly, awesome track, awesome ep. This is the hardest one for Vivod so far surely!

Kevin De Vries delivers big room drama on his 'Aratak' EP for Afterlife Recordings. Spirited synth lines, drum rolls, gripping moments of silence and weighty kick drums make the title track of De Vries' Afterlife debut formidable club gear. 'Sciamachy' is more subtle, centred around a euphoric arpeggio which spirals to its apex. Konstantin Sibold contributes a fine remix, toning down certain elements of 'Sciamachy' to let others shine. It completes an EP that brims with energy and dancefloor dynamism, a hugely exciting first full record for De Vries on Afterlife.

Jacob Groening’s debut EP for Kamai Music takes the listener on a trip
out into the wide open, a journey through wild sonic landscapes. The
title track - „Sulg“ (A1) sets the mood. A blurred picture rendered
through a minimalistic instrumentation of echoing saxophones, guitars
and piano. It oscillates around repetitive themes that range from oriental
sounds to reduced blues chords like in „Giom“ (A2).
The B-Side shifts away from this and shines its light on South American
influences as in „Sosa“ (B1) and the remix „Sulg“' (B2) by the Argentinian
producers„Kermesse“. Groening's approach to his productions, ranging
from down to midtempo, is characterised by its use of live recorded
instruments, well tempered minimalistic percussions and rich melodies
that take the listener on a voyage into the mind's very own comfort zone.
