The sixth installment on Malin Genie's self-titled label welcomes Will & Ink resident Yaleesa Hall into the fold. Regular collaborators Malin and Yaleesa have turned out plenty of joint 12"s in the past on Will & Ink and this very label, and they sound more comfortable and sonically aligned than ever on this mighty record. There's no messing with "Alpha Decay," a loose and lysergic dubby techno workout. "Tachyon" orbits a similar soundworld, but shears the fat away for a minimal palette that sounds powerful echoing around the ample space in the mix. "Muck" slips into freaky after hours house territory, and "Stocha" drops a massive Basic Channel dub techno chord around a whisper of a beat to devastating effect.

Cape is back for Savor Music's 17th release. This time, one of our label owners, delivers a solid four tracker. Each of one them has a distinctive vibe making this release an unique piece of wax that could be played at different moments.

On this reference we can hear Cape creating a delicate balance of all his influences and travelling back again to his original signature sound. You can find a little bit of Detroit, Acid and electro tinged sounds and melodies, atmospheric grooves and super dynamic basslines.

A regular DJ at C11 and Kiosk Radio both in Brussels, Diego also co-runs Biologic Records with his mate Abstraxion since 2014.

Four years after its foundation, the Berlin-based label Druzhba is celebrating its anniversary 10th release with four original tracks by the melody master Rinaldo Makaj (RORA, Elephant Moon).

"Start Again" switches the mood but retains the palette, making great use of a grinding bass note to anchor the sprightly blips and dubby bleeps up top. "Leg Le Friend" goes further into the influence of early UK techno with its ethereal pads and intricate melodic elements, capturing the kind of vibe you might have heard on Likemind with a cheeky modern twist.

Stay On Sight Recordings, the signature label from Skin On Skin, announce their latest release as S.O.S teams up with fellow Brisbane dancefloor legend jamesjamesjames for ‘A Butterfly In-between Time’ on 12” vinyl and digital streaming. Featuring nostalgic and romantic deep house cuts, in-your-face kicks and one of the most sought after IDs of the past year with ‘J’adore’, this limited release is one for the collectors.

Lostsoundbytes is a brussels based young and fresh producer. He is one of the owners of 'Vaste choses', an atypical music label that has released several tapes. After several digital releases, the new Swiss imprint ZNAGG releases their first vinyl Cosmic Prisma No.1 The two musicians of ZNAGG combine their experience and musicality in a powerful and sensitive way on their first record.

Following releases on Slow Life, Small Hours, and Slapfunk, Huerta finally takes matters into his own hands with Dog At Sea, a 3-track club record for his new label.

The latest installment in the Crosstown Rebels release schedule sees Circus club resident James Organ make a standout debut on the label. Titled Secrets, the EP welcomes Spanish mainstay Dennis Cruz as remixer of the lead track.

“It was a real moment for me when Damian picked the EP up and signed it almost straight away. It’s been a very exciting time, and I’m incredibly proud to be releasing this record as my final EP of the year.” James Organ. The original of Secrets Feat. Pablo:Rita leads the charge, as dubby, minimal-laced melodies reside atop an infectious lead bassline, with Pablo:Rita’s soothing vocals completing the enchanting nature of the track. Dennis Cruz’s remix swiftly arrives and brings with it a darker flavour, as thick kicks converge on spacious hats to form a stripped-back, late-night club cut, before the mind-bending sounds of Moons Of Gaza rounds things off with a subtle acid-twinged backbone and warming key changes.

Liverpool’s James Organ has experienced a meteoric rise ever-since his residency at Merseyside institution Circus. In recent times, the young artist has garnered acclaim through releases on labels such as Knee Deep In Sound and Sasha’s Last Night On Earth, whilst the esteemed likes of Pete Tong and Danny Howard have picked him up for regular BBC Radio 1 play. Label-head of Spanish imprint Muse, Dennis Cruz has established himself as one of contemporary house music’s leading figures with several impressive releases on the likes of Solid Grooves and Snatch records, alongside club and festival appearances at London’s Printworks, Ibiza’s Pacha and America’s Resistance to name a few.

Laura Jones returns for another EP outing on her label. Despite weighing in with an incendiary first release that found Mandar's SAM remixing Infuse's Karousel and a follow up from Jones that included one of the sadly departed Trevino's final remixes, the label took a backseat to the birth of her daugter in 2017. A year on however and the pace has picked up with an EP from renowned modular wizzard Kamran Sadeghi at the start of the year and this latest EP from the label boss. The two originals are a snapshot of her evolving style. Pathway places skippy beats and sub heavy kicks under a soaring chord sequence, abstract vocal samples and ethereal pad riff. Tough Crowd takes a moodier approach with a menacing sub bass and drum arrangement, bubbling filters building to a hook that unfolds halfway through to create a moment of formidable intensity. Lee Renacre's recent revival of his 100 Hz alias courtesy of well received outings on Slow Life and Bosconi among others, has found the producer on career-best form and he turns in a sublime remix that makes deft use of delicate top lines and bubbling oscillators to create a powerfully heady atmosphere.

After huge releases on big labels like Apollonia, Rawax and many others iO (Mulen) is back to his main label dropping a big LP. The "Lucky Fish" album consists of three different vinyls full of killer grooves: between smooth deep house and techy bangers, cooked in unique iO (Mulen) style. These cuts were tested on dance floors around the world for a long time, so now we have no doubt that all of them are lethal weapons for any set. Hurry up, it's limited and of course vinyl only as always.

Matthias Meyer and a trio label of debutants make up the fourth instalment of the much-loved ‘Watergate Affairs’ series.
Initiated in 2016, the series assembles a collection of top-quality tracks that otherwise could not fit into Watergate’s busy release schedule, such is the strong pool of music the label draws from.
Emerging Dutch producer Budakid joins the label with ‘Orrery’, after previously making an impact with cuts on Last Night On Earth, Einmusika and Lost & Found. The track’s dreamy soundscapes and otherworldly energy make for a transcendental mood maker. Matthias Meyer is suitably superb with ‘Interlude’, as delicate strings and a muffled melody line gently wash against a shore of sparse beats. Henri Bergmann & Julian Wassermann link for ‘Maenad’, as punchy grooves bring the EP into peak-time territory as a multilayered chord pattern hits with a satisfying headrush. Danish artist Nandu rounds out the package with ‘My Mystery Is A Mystery’. It’s the kind of succulent end-of-nighter every set needs as uplifting pads, stirring keys and a buttery bassline glide together in sweet unison.

The enigmatic DJ ICE TITS manifests yet again! The A1 cut is a dance floor monster with heaving, wet slabs of bass chopped with urgent vocals and sizzling percussion before moving into more emotional, melancholy, and sometimes strange territory. DJ ICE TITS is a reasonable person.

Rumour has it that in the mid 90’s NASA thought they intercepted the first recorded transmissions of alien life. It was believed to have come from a species far more advanced than humankind, and sounded like acid. Aliens on Acid. The origin of the sound was the production duo of Tony Pegas & Don Corrieri, AKA Alienage.

In a basement somewhere in Baltimore, circa 1995, the pair found themselves deep in an acid trip experimenting with synthesisers and drum machines. What followed over the next two years were seven records that warped bodies and minds, released through the iconic Gargoyle Records. The sound was directly informed by countless nights on the dance floor, showcasing trippy, hard-hitting breaks and rolling bass lines that have since rattled speakers for decades.

For the first part of their white labelled, ‘Editions’ series, AGT Records are putting out four tracks from this era, remastered and ready to blow. The A side features two unreleased tracks that perfectly sum up the unique Gargoyle brand of dance floor firepower, starting with “Mindreader” a killer rhythm assortment composed of signature Alienage elements, followed by “Funky Dreamz” where a proggy acid baseline takes over. On the flip side are two tracks which are nearly impossible to get your hands on, including “House Rhythm”, a collaboration between Don and DJ Who and the “Shitty Samples” remix from the legendary “Who’s Who” remix compilation put out by Defective Records in 1996. The music propels forwards, with acid lines that swirl around sharp breaks and pulsing baselines, each capable of igniting any modern day dance-floor.

All the tracks on this EP showcase the best of the Baltimore rave sound. 25 years later they have found their way back onto the turntable, all in good time.

With Straight sounds and dark beats, Gathaspar takes it down to the realm of shades. After the vocal-heavy intro of Gathsoland the subkick abducts you into areas of unknown soundscapes. Through the stormy pads of The Vision in cooperation with Echologist the EP is brought down to a round figure by the combination of traditional elements of techno and modern interfaces in the last track The Lover Of Ursa Major.

'Nervily funky, angrily melancholic, My Friend is an epic, Bristolian deep-house combination of haunting spoken word, feedback and squall, and hacked-up Rhodes. Frazzled but still stomping through Rome.On the flip, Me & Her is a foggy house jam, with a twinned palette of crunchy Rhodes and sampled drums. Just as tough, but this time the unease is lurking in the back somewhere rather than staring you down, as the groove stretches out hypnotically.'

On "O-Pen" the focus is not to make any concept around the tracks or the album itself, but just to have ten full compositions that each have their individuality and not necessarily is the same genre or style. You'll hear more melodies again and instruments, as well as analogue drum machines and modular synths that creates the soundscape of this album. "O-Pen" is a very organic album, which includes all sounds you'd hear in the usual house & techno stuff from Martinez but also shows inspiration from more dub, ambient and even jazz influences.

New York collective Sheik 'N' Beik continue to expand an impressively developing catalogue adding to releases from Xamiga, Keita Saino and Jeffrey Scott with a fresh 12' from Voodoo Down Records owner and fellow Brooklynite N'conduit. Having utilised Voodoo Down as a platform for his own brand of rich, emotive House music N'conduit now dims the lights a tad in offering up 3 neatly reduced Techno tracks that meld dystopian drones with disquieting melodies and tough, swung drums.

'Echo Must Die' kicks things off with looming pads and glistening synth tones. A bold, punchy kick drives a purposeful march forwards whilst mangled computer FX pepper the high-end. Digital exclusive 'English Kills' then drives eerie vocal sweeps with tight drum shuffles and adroit sound design before 'Flaust In Paradise' renders a harsh landscape with metallic textures sitting atop a brutal, driving bass line.

Cape Perpetua is a thing of beauty.

Sordid Sound System has taken his unique, raw, dub-infused sonic vision to a new level. With 'Cape Perpetua' we travel dem spaceways to a place that seems to grow more beautiful by the second; a textured, melodic, blissful interplanetary landscape where further words fail. From here Sascha Funke manages to take the controls and steer the mission on an urgent futuristic space odyssey. Faint background signals of the original remain but are violently ejected from the airlock by the most synthetic, syncopated sounds the human ear has ever been exposed to that result in a peak time techno frenzy that would most definitely work in a nightclub if such a thing existed in this new dimension. Flip over and we're straight into 'It's About Time'. This one is equally high octane ..... but this time of the afro-tinted psychedelic surf punk variety. If you aren't dancing to this you're probably dead. No rest for the wicked, however....because before we manage to get our precise bearings and a firm grasp of what just happened the acid techno space rock of 'Pneumonia Gulch' kicks in and takes us to places Hawkwind could only have dreamed of. Respite soon follows when the seductive voice of Eva Geist transports us to yet another beautiful paradise. Slowly it dawns on us, however, that we're now in a solar system elsewhere entirely. Mind boggling. Nothing comes close. If you were to take a cockatil of mandrake, opium, LSD, ecstasy and a variety of amphetamines in the company of the heavenly host, the cosmic machine elves and a group of your best human friends with access to every instrument you ever wanted you would only know the half of it. This takes a very twisted, talented, mystic mind to come up with. I'm sure of it.

Welcome to - Industrie & Zärtlichkeit , the raw, quirky yet emotional debut album from Moon! Although the Berlin-based duo is revered for dancefloor bangers such as - Ze power', Johannes Albert and Johannes Paluka (better known as Iron Curtis) have put much effort into making this album a true listening experience without sacrificing their roots in House Music. - Industrie & Zärtlichkeit (which translates into - Industry & Tenderness ) effortlessly achieves what is claimed in its title, namely a fusion of seemingly disparate elements: the rough and the smooth, dirty beats and soothing harmonies, bizarre sounds and comforting chords. The title track is a fine example of this perfectly-dosed blend with its detuned strings that glide over a crisp electro beat and an infectious melody which would make Kraftwerk proud. Cafe Del Landwehrkanal' is a lighthearted and kinky gem while - Light Of Virtue combines warm synth pads (Detroit is not far) with dusty drums and an acid bassline. MFB Nights' and Machine Rhythm Tomorrow' are also illustrations of the duo's undeniable savoir-faire, with the former celebrating garage classics thanks to its cheeky vocal sample and gorgeous rhodes chords while the latter plays out as a dedication to the early 90's, a time when people didn't care about genres and just dived in the novelty of electronic dance music.
But as we all know, there is a dark and secret side of the Moon, an aspect which is best expressed via the freaky organ chords of - Proto and its detuned melody. Not to mention the excellent ambient pieces - Fjordig or - The Bitter End which showcase the duo's ability to venture into uncharted territory.
All in all, Industrie & Zärtlichkeit feels like drinking fresh orange juice gently sparkled with chilli... and it concludes flawlessly with two reworks that prolong the album's laidback yet assured vibe. First off is Black Spuma (Lauer of Tuff City Kids fame and Italian disco legend Fabrizio Mammarella) who rework the title track into a hands-in-the-air boogie monster that will definitely be a festival staple this summer. Finally, Lerosa emphasizes the deeper shade of the album's spectrum with an impressive new wave rework of - Appeal .

Hungarian-born, now UK based producer Pauli takes over the second release on Synkronized. Two meticulously crafted originals represent the dedication and attention to detail in his productions. We are also welcoming Vlad Arapasu to the label family with his own take on “Wonderdust“.

What about him Born in Stuttgart in 1987, grew up with hip hop music, high school in fine arts, study of aviation and space technology, teacher of drums and percussion, active as a drummer in a classical orchestra, co-founder and artworker of the renowned Common Sense People event series & resident DJ at the club Rocker 33 in Stuttgart, music repertoire includes hip hop, pop, indiependent, folk, classical and electronic music. His musical design can be best described as opposites attract with attention to the everlasting basic principle: As little as possible, as much as necessary or better: if no girl is dancing, I've made something wrong! Noisy and clear, functional and strange, stereotyped and unconventional, wide and narrow, stereo and mono. Sampling takes precedence over the programming of sounds, every element must have a function and must be internally consistent, vinyl is the sample source and acts as patina supplier, Presetsound-"not"-sound is absolutely taboo. Everything stands or falls with the sound of the elements used. These need to fuse together to a foundation, where your first impression can sit. Is this
foundation given, you get things deliberately to collapse. The arrangement is derived from the items that are available and not the other way around.

Ramrod is a rebell on the dancefloor and on the decks!Known for his guitar and rock based productions he brings us 4 tracks with strong songcharacter in his rebell-rave style. He´s also known for his great DJ Sets together with Syntax Error as the "Die Bomclikks" (german pronounciation ;)) DJ Team. Another new record which can be used to bring the dancelfoor up to the boiling point.

One of the first visitors to Planet Euphorique, Melbourne-based producer Roza Terenzi makes her triumphant return with the first LP release on the label. A playful yet cohesive collection from post-electro and extra-terrestrial techno to dreamy prog-house and low slung zingers, bumping us into the new decade. Modern Bliss, the sound of Roza Terenzi fully realized.

Never shy to experiment with unconventional sounds or mingle influences, the album presents 9 offerings to suit every flavor of raver. Opener, "Jungle in the City," takes down-tempo to a new astral plane with blushing pads and tumbling pixels, perfectly poised for a spine-tingling after hours sunrise.The title track "Modern Bliss" featuring Barcelona based singer/producer Ivy Barkakati encapsulates the dancefloor euphoria we have come to expect from Terenzi; in essence the energy of this release, contemporary jubilation and contentment amongst a chaotic world. Flickering percussion prancing above deep rolling bottom end, allowing bubbling stabs and synth sequences to lift Barkakati's intoxicating vocals to dizzy heights. “Exactly where I need to be, my thoughts create reality” truer words…

Flipping it over to the B side things heat up, “Yo-Yo” chimes in immediately with a tough onslaught of metallic polyrhythms and a pulsating melodic bassline coaxing you down a path less travelled and preparing you for the sexy sub action that demands your attention, "That Track (Rewired Mix)", buckle up to sweat. Sweet relief comes with the C side “Exhale”, dipping in tempo; esoteric atmospheres to fill your ears, something fresh to absorb with each listen. To close off the record, something old and something new, “Eternal Lust” a delicate ode to the lovers and from the vaults “My Reality Cheque Bounced (Feat. DJ Zozi)” - a raucous party starter serving up that label defining sound, futuristic and bombastic, tipping its hat to the break.

Just weeks after releasing his new studio album Flourish, Damian Lazarus returns with two cinematic remixes of the lauded Jem Cooke collaboration ‘Into The Sun’. Damian carefully chose two of modern electronic music’s most celebrated producers to reimagine the original, welcoming unique takes from Mano Le Tough and Nathan Fake.

Lazarus remains a curator fixated on showcasing new sounds and emerging talent in everything he does. Much like his tenure breaking artists and pushing boundaries through the influence of Crosstown Rebels, he has brought an innate sense of purpose to Flourish’s remix selection.

The package leads with the distinctly delicate touch of Mano Le Tough, an Irishman who’s quest for deeper dancefloors has made him one of scene’s most in demand artists. Mano’s Crosstown debut adds to an already decorated discography across labels like Pampa, Permanent Vacation and his own Maeve. Adorned with his signature pitch bending and uniquely layered percussion, his remix retains the hopefulness embodied by the original while priming it for the return of rave.

Nathan Fake brings a different set of tools to the package, wielding a sense of grit and atmosphere that can be heard throughout his Blizzards album released this year on his own Cambria Instruments. His remix retains the broken beat energy and haunting mood of ‘Into The Sun’ while remapping its melody for both beauty and cadence. It is this elevated understanding of texture and suspense that has earned mainstay status from Ninja Tune and Border Community, while attracting remixes for Radiohead, Jon Hopkins and Tiefschwarz to name a few.

Dapayk with a new freaky solo project on Snork Enterprises. Three tracks which are out of a snorky evil underground world, dark, groovy and distorted. No weakness is allowed if you need to be ready. 'Be ready' is marching straight forward, leaded by the staccato hi hats and supported by loads of laser shoots. 'Kaya' is the house version of a tool combo.Lots of metal and drilling sounds, somebody who is hammering the pipes to get the heaters on. 'Down the toilet' is a sound demon which tries not to get flushed down the toilet, scratches the porcelain with it´s horrible claws which makes your ears bloody and deafly. This crazy fight only gets interrupted by some bells from far away. This release is really some crazy stuff, once again some funky work from Mr. Dapayk!

On one side we've got "Intr-un Ritm Suav", a more laid back, melancholic statement, centered around classic percussion and overlapping harmonics, the likes of which we've become acustomed to from the romanian throughout the years.
Shifting shlightly away from his usual form but staying true to his trademark sound with the other part of the EP ,"Intr-o Seara Joviala", Sepp storms of with a furious electro, noise influenced peak time screamer, untamed and grandiose in it's execution which will surely bring any dancefloor to it's knees.

On side A it features two nice versions of Beatz and Pieces. The first one is a very clubby banger that contains classic house vocal samples on a great bassy modern beat. Loud!
A2 is a hypnotic drumbeat flavored with an old school punchy piano that finds its way into a drop, to chill for a second, and then make everybody jump up and scream when the drums build up to start booming again, for younger crowds.
So far, real dancefloor, and we could think it is already enough for this 12'' to be bought right away. But it's when we listen to the flip side that we find the real nice surprise: Deep In The Underground is a wondefully laid track that really reminds us of the 90s club sound of epic labels like Bassline and BiG BiG Trax.
On this beautiful classy tune, organ, background samples, bass and rhythm section melt into a very special old fashioned atmosphere that takes us back in time, and the piano solo by Sep Sarno gives it a great passionate touch.
Jazzy, groovy, sturdy classic deep house with a very modern finish that will always be a gem. Timeless.

Two years ago I played at Studio 9 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The following day I missed my flight home and ended up spending an extra day, which gave me a chance to explore the city with my friend Linus, who took me to the Contemporary Art Centre. It was there I spotted a book named 'Rojus', that Linus told me translated as 'Paradise'. The word and striking cover of the book stuck in my mind. A few days after returning home, I turned on to a National Geographic documentary named 'Designed To Dance', explaining the courtship rituals of Birds Of Paradise. As I watched, i jokingly began drawing similarities between these birds' attempts to captivate and impress the opposite sex with dance, and the way strangers try to attract one another in clubs and interact on the dance floor. This gave me the idea of creating a record of functional club music, sequenced as if it were a club night, from doors to closing, using samples of these Birds Of Paradise and their habitat. As a parting shot 'Eh Oh Um' is almost the definitive Peace Division track, centering around the mother of all rolling grooves topped off with a subtle but very hooky vocal lick. An essential 12" for your collection!

ODT presents its second vinyl release. This time we have croatian producer Zarko Rebac delivering his Meridian EP with strong remix support by Franco Cinelli and a dub techno legend Thor. It's all about dub vibes on this one. Originals, named Vibracija and Dimenzija are straight forward, dub influenced tracks. Thor delivers strong remix, with relentless groove and great dynamics, while Franco goes into the slightly more minimal approach with slick drums and dreamy pads.

After his last release on Dirt Crew in 2017 we are more than delighted to bring back the talented Harry Wolfman.
With impressive records on labels like Phonica, Omena, Outplay and Toy Tonics in the last years he has drawn up a fine new selection of music that spans across many genres and moods. This is also the first release for us in the new year after a lil break and it continues to explore the more eclectic approach we are following for a while now since the outings of artists like Dampé, S3A and Dan Only.

Harry presents an exciting opener for his new EP, together with vocalist Christian Crow he has made the blissful and breaks laden “poppy” good feel tune “A Way You Come Home to Me” that shines a bright light in these darker months. Followed by the deeper club tune “Step by Step”, building around yet another vocal recording. This time it’s Harry sampling his own voice and looping it into a repetitive piece of good feel House music.

We are getting deeper on the B side with “Speaking Raman”, one of these signature Harry tunes, a playful dusty lo-fi piece of music build around a piano theme and embedded in deep bass and driving beats, his sound trademark on all of these more floor orientated tracks on the EP. To close out the record we added two of his cinematic, ambient electronica works that we personally love so much. The haunting “Always 3” is a deep sphere that sucks you in a meditational and soothing womb of sounds. Ending with the electroid cut “Green Trees”, it’s broken and fragile and gives this indie-tronica track a warm and gentle touch.

Long-time Phonica favourite Lo Shea follows on from his excellent contribution to the recent 'Ten Years Of Phonica' compilation with the four track 'Adverse Camber EP' on Phonica White. The 'Adverse Camber EP' sees Lo Shea taking his already unique take on Techno and House in new directions while remaining firmly focused on the dancefloor. The 12' starts ominously with the dark Techno monster 'Lights, Plants, Action', all deep growling bass and drums, the only brief glimpse of light cutting through halfway before dropping back into the murk. The relentlessly heavy 'The Wind' follows up and is a pounding yet melodic mini-master-piece, perfect material for the darkest of clubs. Flip over and the shuffling percussion and sub-bass of 'MuVin' kicks things off with an infectious abstract UK Garage/Techno hybrid sound. Finally, the stripped-back 'Snake Inn' is pure bleak British Techno, masterfully produced as only Lo Shea can! Lo Shea aka Liam O'Shea has had a particularly productive few years, completing his ten release 'Seaghdha' imprint in impressive style with the 'A Deich' 12' & 'Distance' CD package. That is on top of his 'Steel City' 12' on 100 Years as well as remixes for Mixed In Sheffield and Tamed Musiq. His track 'Home' was one of the highlights of Phonica's 2014 compilation 'Ten Years Of Phonica'.

The prolific Lord Of The Isles (aka Scotland's Neil McDonald) has had a string of stunning 12's over the past few years on labels such as Permanent Vacation, Unthank, Shevchenko, Mule and of course his four track 'Year Of The City EP' on Phonica, which was widely acclaimed upon its release in 2012.

This time LOTI presents two long-form tracks, each a mini-masterpiece in itself. The 10 minute plus 'Greane' bursts into life after an intro of kicks and white noise hi-hats. It continues to slowly build, with pitch-bent synth lines and a pulsing bass-line making way for a melacholic shift in mood. Truly original stuff!

On the flip, a swirl of synthetic strings introduces 'Gigha', in a manner that brings to mind Rhythm
Is Rhythm's legendary 'Kao-Tic Harmony', before the drums and infectious acid-line join in. Over the 8 minutes they continue to interweave and play off each other to dazzling effect.

SPhonica's white label series returns with a real deep house excursion by Chilean producer Massiande in the form of his 'Freedom EP'.

Massiande is an artist of multicultural roots. He was born in Santiago, Chile, yet he has lived most of his life alongside US American people and has Dutch family roots, which has greatly affected the way he perceives and lives music. Growing as a big fan of US Soul, Jazz and Disco, he found his way into music production through House and his biggest influences have been artists such as Larry Heard, Ron Trent and Chris Brann (aka Wamdue Project).

After a well-received, excellently-produced EP on Aroy Dee's MOS Recordings and another on Rawax offshoot Housewax, Delsin, the 'Freedom EP' is a strong 4-track conceptual record based on the feeling of freedom in life and, for Massiande, how it relates to house music.

The title track 'Freedom' launches the EP attempts to recreate an aural scenery of flying exploration centred on a spacey synth line and an almost Detroit techno bassline. 'Be With Me' starts with an almost Mr Fingers-esque groove before melodic elements take over.'Straight' is more of a straight-up dancefloor track with obvious elements from US house from the 90s, clipped Chandler-esque beats, nagging stabs and a vocal sample 'Gonna take you to another land, where there is no race', going straight to a place where you can allow yourself to be free on the dancefloor. Many '90s U.S. American House and Garage influences go through this track, which brings us to the final track, the epic 'Ode To A Tortured Soul'. Deeply melancholic with an end-of-night feel with its own flute solo, channelling Frankie Knuckles 'The Whistle Song' or Flow's Bottom Line classic ' Another Time'! Rounding off a strong EP.

Phonica unveil the third in a series of three 12" samplers featuring a selection of tracks from their new compilation 'Ten Years Of Phonica'.

As a long-time supporter of Phonica, Mr. G was a natural choice for the compilation and his contribution is yet another stone-cold Colin classic, named after his preferred day for record shopping no less! Ol of Faces Records is up next with the exceptional house/garage hybrid 'AMC Edit'.

On the other side, Lady Blacktronika starts things off with the deep and wonderful 'Gods And Planets', one of her strongest productions to date. Finally, DJ Kaos teams up with Loudtone for their 'Buffalo Dub', an old-school inspired house gem aimed at the dancefloors of today.

Phonica Records was established in September 2003 and set up shop in Soho, London, adding to the high concentration of independent records stores that inhabited the area. Founders; Simon Rigg, Heidi Vanden Amstel and Tom Relleen joined The Vinyl Factory with the aim of creating an exciting outlet for innovative dance music, traversing all sub-genres and cultures. Over the past decade the emporium has developed into a well-respected destination for DJs and enthusiasts, and has subsequently become a bustling hive of conversation and inspiration as part of a wider community of music lovers.

While trends and movements in music have grown and faded over these years, Phonica has always remained in a state of evolution. It is this openness to change alongside a commitment to it's original ethos and an enduring ardour for quality, cutting-edge sounds that has fuelled the shop's staying power.

To celebrate reaching this milestone, Phonica Records have invited some of their favourite artists to produce a track for an eclectic yet cohesive compilation, which will hopefully go some way towards sonically unfolding the 'Ten Years of Phonica.'

The release starts with "Several Huge Yellow Snaplike Somethings" - A forgotten beach trance titan with instant teleportation to another time, neatly followed by the mesmerising sunset plod of "Low Sun In Dub" riding slow at 94 bpm. The continued rise of Alan Fitzpatrick is the biggest story in UK techno right now. Having enjoyed a rapid ascent since his emergence as the new kid on the techno block in the latter half of 2009, Fitzpatrick now enjoys a status as a highly respected and in-demand producer. By releasing his debut album for Adam Beyer's globally renowned Drumcode label, Alan became the first act to record an album on Drumcode since 2005. The well-received 'Shadows In The Dark' long-player marked the culmination of a run of productions that saw Fitzpatrick publically name-checked as a one of the most exciting producers in techno by Adam Beyer, Dubfire, Carl Cox, John Digweed and Len Faki and being awarded a BBC Radio 1 Essential New Tune for his anthemic Reflections single on Bedrock. 2011 will see Alan evolve an already impressive production CV via collaborations with Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch and Joseph Capriati as well as remixes of Mark Broom, Funk D'Void and Alex Bau.

It has been Alan's partnership with Adam Beyer's Drumcode label that has produced his most significant work to date; releasing three chart topping EP's (Static, Face Of Rejection, Insurgent Series) on the label in addition to his 'Shadows In The Dark' LP and being one of a select handful of producers invited to remix Beyer's classic Remainings III. Elsewhere, Fitzpatrick's studio services have been recruited by the likes of John Digweed & Nick Muir, Slam, Joey Beltram, John Digweed, Dustin Zahn & Joel Mull and Pascal Mollin. You have already met Thanos (this guy's real name) in our YOICAST, he took part with his previous nickname - Son House.
During the production he managed to mark releases on Blind Vision Records and Looking Back.
With his new name, he discovered a new chapter in his music.

The name can change, one thing remains unchanged - quality house vibes that carry to the serene sea, bring the freshness of wind at sunset, then plunge into the depths to unknown forms. All this on both sides of the YOIONWAXOO2.
The sound component of the record is complemented by an inseparable part of the YOIONWAX series - a unique unusual artwork - the animated label. When the record is spinning on the turntable, all you have to do is point the camera with the flash of your phone and the image comes to life!

Various creatures of the native flora and fauna are interpreted musically on Dominik Eulberg's label 'Apus apus'. The music pieces are thoughtfully presented with 2 tracks per EP.
His first EP features the track 'Bienenfresser' (eng. bee-eater) on the a side and - Blauracke' (engl. blue roller) on the flip side.
The bee-eater is the most colorful bird of our native lands; a quality which is echoed through the piece of the same name. The composition oscillates from one color into another without losing its significant habitus. It is a musical journey through the color scheme of the bee-eater, through which Dominik Eulberg takes us by way of his iconic style. He succeeds at a striking balancing act between sensitive subtlety and steady pressure, in order to offer us a satisfying share of hedonism.
It is a piece of music that provides an intimate listening experience, while simultaneously supplying listeners with a collective, mobilizing anthem. The long introduction of the track emulates the agile flight for prey of the dazzling bird, but then it fervently taps out the stinger of the captured bee, and finally nothing can stand in the way of the massiveness of the celebratory bass drum. Intrepid, yet with a high degree of ataraxia, Dominik leads us through the skies on an expedition into the colorful land of the bee-eater.
The magnificent turquoise blue plumage of the blue roller glimmers green or blue, depending on the quality of light. These colors, translated into worlds of sound, are reflected in this piece of the same name. Sparkling melodies intertwine gracefully along musical chains, and create a constant redefinition of the theme. The piece is inviting and catchy in the typical Eulbergian manner; submerging into the auditory tract and manifesting itself with much elegy in the deepest cortex. The blue roller is a sit-and-wait hunter - at first occupied with idleness, until finally capturing its anticipated prey. This imperturbable serenity is felt in this piece of music and illustrates Eulberg's many years of knowledge and experience. He steers his audiences through the true essence of music, while always keeping both hands firmly on the wheel.

Chat Noir Tools continues its exploration of the new electronic scene with this second release which showase four tracks from the young producer Occibel. He delivers here 4 uncompromising tracks designed for the dancefloor. Juggling between house, breakbeat and Tech-house inspirations, he is part of this generation that frees itself from genres to better appropriate them. Throughout the 4 tracks of the EP, Occibel oscillates between atmospheres and sounds to offer a coherent and effective whole. An EP made for the dancefloor in all occasions.

With further announcements forthcoming with Life and Death later this summer, Drug Dilling offers up the first new material from The/Das on the label since 2013's Outfashioned. Now as a duo, Fabian Fenk and Philipp Koller's latest EP is the result of playful and pure studio sessions, during which they aimed to capture the often-overlooked club-friendly side of their project. Top Vibes' breakbeats come as a welcomed surprise, while Holy Rollers pairs wobbling synth pads with a vocal cameo by DJ Tennis. The standout title-track recalls hazy afterparty moments. Detroit stalwart DJ Bone delivers a focused reinterpretation on the flip, backing expertly-sampled organ takes and flanged vocal lines in an enticing bed of afro-cuban rhythms.

The ep starts with an emotional track from Aleqs Notal , a tribute to Mike Huckaby . It is a deep house filled with percussions, deep pads, and some subtle acid stabs. On the same Side Meftah , a newcomer from Detroit provides here a deep jazzy funky and broken jam with Fender Rhodes, MPC beats and analogue synths that is absolutely dope. On the B side Taelue , one of the Chicago fine producers is delivering a killer piece of moody Chicago house aimed to the dancefloor, a killer jam with pads and round funky bass line that will make people dance as soon as we can get back clubbing. Finally, Afrikan Sciences is rounding up the ep with an amazing deep funk bass piece of music that only him knows how to make.

Renaissance recruit Tale of Us for the second the second edition of their quarterly-century celebrations.With the first release in this series occupying #1 status for 6 weeks last summer, Renaissance are back with the second instalment of their 25th Anniversary 'The Remix Collection' project. For the follow-up to Solomun's immense reworking of Age Of Love, Renaissance have bagged more Techno royalty in the shape of Italian duo Tale Of Us, to take on the huge task of remixing another iconic 90's classic.The track in question is the legendary 'Café Del Mar' by the 90's trance project, Energy 52. Much alike the previous remix by Solomun, it seems Tale Of Us also have their work cut out for them, as this track has had no shortage of remixes over the years. However, the popularity of 'Café Del Mar' is not simply reflected through its remix roster. Named after the iconic bar at the heart of the Ibiza clubbing scene, it was the soundtrack to the rave-culture movie, 'Human Traffic' in 1999. In addition to this 'Café Del Mar' later went on to be voted #1 in MixMag's 2001 '500 Best Tracks Ever' list.With this second remix, Tale of Us take the classic elements that made Café Del Mar such a huge track in the 90's, bringing them into the present-day with big licks of bass and a huge crescendo. Carrying forward the focus of the series, this remix refreshes the iconic track for a new generation of listeners. OHANNES BRECHT seeks the sublime with lead track “Synesthetic” – a delicate yet potent entry that was inspired by the condition called synesthesia, a perceptual condition in which the stimulation of one sense triggers an automatic, involuntary experience in another sense. Flipside “Matter” leans more to to the left-field where found sounds mingle to a simmering bass drum. The bonus track “Particulate” furthers Johannes’ vast capabilities as a musician by playing E-Bow on an medieval instrument called the Dulcimer - the results reflect and depth and beauty rarely heard in dance music.

Overall, his “Dust EP” finds beauty through minimalistic arrangement.

First vinyl release for 10 Years Of Metroline Limited series - Produced by label bosses Octad and Phiorio

This release is one of round numbers. It's Metroline Limited release number 50. You may have actually noticed that we almost got to release 90 by now but number 50 was always kept behind for a collaborative release between the two men behind the label: Andrea and Gianpiero aka Octad and Phiorio. It took a fairly long time to put this release together, mainly because running a label with a DIY ethos is a time consuming affair and most of the time doesn't leave too much free time for sonic experimentations. We really hope it was worth the wait! And what a better opportunity to release Metroline number 50 like for the label's 10 years anniversary. So much has happened since 2007, we released a LOT of music, some of our tracks have been played in the best clubs and festivals and by some of our favourite dj's. We are not going to name names but we are extremly proud of what we have achieved in our 10 years history. We are also proud of the fact that we are still around with energy and enthusiam to keep on releasing new music, this time (finally) by our label owners and also soon by a lot more talented producers in the months to come. Music wise, in this EP you will find some of the syles that made Metroline music known over the years. The two tracks on the A side are produced by Octad. Missing Bits has Octad's trademark minimal groove with hissing hats and a huge sub bass. There is a clever use of percussive bits, dark stabs and vocals to create a sublime dark minimal techno builder. Synopsis of 8 keeps the A side atmosphere well dark. Andrea managed to create a solid machine funk dark and spooky techno number with metallic percussion and plenty of groove. Phiorio takes control ot B side with the opening
