Elon make with the DIY vibes on the smart EP. Fans of Live Jam releases, listen up! On the title track sharp cuts, tight bursts of sound and loose percussion combine into a complex rhythm that is kept in check by a nice tumbling bassline. Jazz breaks hit the speakers with Got Ya, Tiger! Like a night out in Soho in 1962 brought back to life on an MPC. The bruising bassline just shouts 'Dance Or I'll Kick You In The Guts". Alex Celler's Broken Circuit Dub of Got Ya, Tiger! ramps up that kicking a notch. All those bruising elements are still there, but the guy grinds those jazz breaks up in his big metal jaws and spits out a gobful of twisted future. And you're gonna like it! Elon team up with Stefny on Téo, which finishes the EP. And you can feel her effect - she clearly loves a cheeky little synth line, because there are plenty of them here... squalking, meeping and dooping in perfect harmony to create a nice trancey brainfeeder. Nice.

Pangaea returns to his Hessle Audio label with new music for 2020. The in-demand track 'Like This' has enjoyed early plays from Daphni and Jamie XX on Radio 1 and comes in two versions for different dancefloors. 'Midnight Plane' on the B side takes things deeper but remains propulsive, fusing elements of dub techno and various UK styles.Vinyl limited to 500 copies.

Since its inception in 2019, Thinc have catapulted onto Australia's minimal scene offering followers a conglomeration of prodigious recordings and premium tracks released from around the world. Moving onto the next chapter of their journey, this imprint looks to rattle cages with their first and highly anticipated vinyl only release.

THC001 presents a 4 track EP featuring 3 tremendous groovers from Bucharest-based artist Direkt and includes a mind-warping remix from Vincentiulian. The record opens with 'Lagrange Point', presenting a warm and spacey roller. 'Ephemeris' follows suit with Direkt’s punchy beats and seeping harmonic flow. On the B-side, Vincentiulian’s interpretation of Lagrange Point takes you through a hypnotic voyage, stripping the track down to its bones and adding his signature genius touch. To finish off this EP, Direkt's creative ability turns to a darker corner in 'Nova', featuring a monster bassline accompanied by eerie pads and heavy hats.

Alisú is the electronic project of Chilean producer and graphic designer Jessica Campos de la Paz. Alisú started her career in 1998 by performing live sets of dub, techno, IDM and experimental sounds, not only as Alisú but also in the project Manziping with Rodrigo Rivera and Antonio Díaz, performing at many South American festivals. On her first release for Bottom Forty, Alisú composes three beautiful, purely hardware based tracks for the Rompiente EP with rhythmic vibes that take you from resonant underwater depths up into reflective cosmic atmospheres.


The opening track “Cyberspace” shows Alisú’s synth prowess with a driving and building yet ambient electric world that eventually dissolves into different sparkling arpeggiations, while “Rompiente’s” fractured vision of a perfect aural reality spreads across a beautiful seven minutes of hyper active arp’s and bass rhythms. “Wake Up” has been a club and festival favorite as it’s dance floor driving kicks create a solid groove mixed with transcendent pads and spaced out sounds are the perfect formula for keeping a dance floor moving while also elevating the listener to a higher level of emotion. Rounding out the Rompiente EP is a percussive rhythmic remix from one of our all time favorites In Flagranti who give us the deep and disco influenced bass lines we know and love.

Three years after his latest solo drop on TPG, Rupert Marnie is back with a vengeance. Punching in with a quartet of high-efficiency jams tailored to whip a frenzy amongst heavenly dancers and murky basement revellers, the Hamburg-based producer clears a new path towards utopian electronics yonder through another fine incarnation of his tricksy assemblages of laid-back Venusian house, breaks-laden ambient scapes and jazzed-up hi-tech heroics.
Wading deep in swampy acid grounds, 'Back' fires first with its liquid alloy of 303-marinated salvos, warped synth helixes and opaque harmonics, sure to have you levitating in a weird trance-y state of mind right away. A further hypnotic slab of deep diving techno, A2 'Runciter' flexes the verbed-out sub lines, muscular breaks and train-like groove whilst setting the bleep'o-meter to eleven. A feast of '90s infused carefreeness that shall rejoice both textbook old-school heads, spongy-bodied gymnasts and stranded aliens alike.
Flip it over and here's 'I.D.E.' - a repolished filtered-house, Roulé-style delight where handsomely FX-adulterated keys play footsie with classic Chi-town shuffling patterns and laser battle sounds to keep you 100% committed to the groove - from your dancing shoes to your melting brainpan. Final transition comes with the Latin rhythms of '6AM Catwalk', a straight out addictive slice of gently wasted after material, custom-cut to accompany you in your post-party morning routine as the sun caresses the nape of your gauzy, vampiric neck. Retro futurist house tracks, tailor-made for dancefloor delirium!

Bruise is the brand new musical project of Christian Campbell (Sona Vabos) and Darren House aka Diesel (Xpress-2, Ballistic Brothers). Born out of a shared love of the Motor City and all things deep, dusty and electronic, Bruise aims to present a broad palette of stirring electronic soul.

Under his Sona Vabos alias, Christian has released House, Dub and Techno on labels including DFA, Mad Decent and Southern Fried Records, and has remixed artists including Todd Terry, The Black Ghosts, Chicken Lips, and The 2 Bears. His music has been supported by Radio 1 (Annie Mac, B-Traits, Diplo and Monki) and DJ’s such as Kerri Chandler, Sinden, Eats Everything, Shadow Child, and many more.

Diesel, together with Rocky and Ashley Beedle, formed House music titans ‘X-press 2’ in the early 90s and rose to underground prominence through classic tracks such as ‘Muzik Express’, ‘London Xpress’ and ‘Smoke Machine’ (Junior Boys Own & Skint Records). Gaining plaudits on the club scene with their multi-decked DJ sets and performing everywhere from Ibiza to Brazil and Japan to New York, X-Press 2 shot to fame with their Ivor Novello award winning single ‘Lazy’. Featuring vocals by David Byrne (Talking Heads) the single reached No 2 in the UK singles chart.

Diesel is also a founding member of the jazz influenced electronic band the ‘Ballistic Brothers’ and as a solo artist ‘Yellow Sox’ on Nuphonic Records. Diesel also presents an irregular show on know-wave as well as running legendary re-edit label Moton Records Inc. He can also be found playing DJ sets at Spiritland and ‘We Are The Sunset’ parties as well as running his own parties under the name Heavy Disco.

Illyus & Barrientos were the names on everyone’s lips last year as they continued to impress with every single release and DJ set throughout 2018. They return to home label, Toolroom, with a vinyl release of their latest singles ‘The One’ and 'Shout'.

In true Illyus & Barrientos form ‘The One’ is a peak-time, raucous affair with gospel like vocals laid over the top of some insanely hooky brass sections and pounding drums! While ‘Shout’ is crammed full of fun and energy much like the personalities of these two Scottish heroes as they layer that classic Loleatta Holloway vocal over a tough and driving tech house backing.

Hot Creations label boss Jamie Jones joins forces with Cuttin’ Headz curators The Martinez Brothers for the first time to present the anthemic Bappi, an unmistakable powerhouse of a track that has been setting dancefloors alight all summer at their respective DC10 Ibiza residencies. The A side features title track Bappi, a trademark bassline opens the record, developing with playful strings and sirens before distinctive Indian vocals are teased in, shifting the energy as it unfurls into a big-room Hot Creations hit. On the B side, Bappi (Warehouse Mix) magnifies the groove, as head nodding kicks combine with darker synths, creating an acid-tinged, smoky rework of the original. Spanning the last decade, world renowned DJ and producer Jamie Jones has pioneered his own definitive sound. His global event series Paradise is now in its eight season at the magical Ibiza home of DC10, whilst also landing in cities like Miami, New York, LA, Moscow and Toronto. As it nears 150 releases, helping to shape the careers of Patrick Topping, Detlef and Richy Ahmed in the process, Jones and his label continue to cement a place in dance music history. House favourites The Martinez Brothers are near completion of another stacked summer schedule that has seen them throw their Cuttin’ Headz parties on the White Isle for the first time, as well as playing at Circoloco, Paradise and Music On. Firmly established as one of the biggest names in the industry, releasing their own productions and that of other big hitters like DJ Sneak, Loco Dice and Guti on their Cuttin’ Headz label, they have also recently mixed the latest edition of the Fabric presents series.

The 5th EP on the label of our man Bastian Bux goes one step beyond. This time he delivers a lovely vocal track featuring Kyla Millette and the final result is a modern techno track plenty of soul and elegant vibes.

As we enter our fourth year as a label, we welcome San Francisco based Chrissy to the Dansu Discs family for DSD017. He specialises in rave-influenced sounds, Chicago house, and disco, but his 20-year career has ranged from jungle to footwork to freestyle (he literally has it all!). His strong reputation as a ‘genre bending’ producer is one that is fully deserved and he proves just that in this record. On the B side we welcome back Soundbwoy Killah and Denham Audio, both providing a killer remix to top off one of our most exciting projects yet.

The start of a new series

After inaugurating the label with a first EP in december of 2014, Innershades returns home to deliver what will be the 6th release on 9300 Records. Kerrebroek Memories is the self made soundtrack of his childhood memories in the shared hometown of Aalst (Belgium). Expect to hear a homage to early Dutch electro with a modern twist and Innershades well known trademark for dancefloor injected house tracks. Rising Dutch star and new BFF of the Belgian 9300 family 'Betonkust' polished the A1-listed 'Darkness Fades' track into a melodious electro classic.

REPRESS - Brand new single from Ms Kraviz giving us a taster of her forthcoming debut on Rekids. For "Ghetto Kraviz" Nina looks for inspiration on the other side of the Atlantic with stripped down drum-patterns, hand-claps a plenty and her monotone vocals.

The follow up to 'trouble' and 'run' sees Offaiah launch his own label All Fire and take a darker, deeper approach as a result. Purely for the late-night sets!

After taking time out to search for the right blend of carefully curated tracks, Bristol-based dancefloor futurists Innate return with a third multi-artist EP - shot through with melody, warmth and soul.

A quartet of timeless-sounding tracks full of stargazing sounds, undulating acid lines, far-sighted electronics and crackling beats, the A side kicks off with Perseus Traxx's "Drifting In Space": a loose-limbed exercise in analogue house deepness that wraps slowly shifting pads, meandering melodies and pulsating TB-303 motifs around broken house drums.

Welcoming Australian scene stalwart Ewan Jansen to the fray with "Sinders", he effortlessly blurs the boundaries between far-sighted, Motor City style techno and the kind of head-in-the-clouds analogue sounds that have always been his forte.

On the flip, Reedale Rise adds his touch with "Coral". In keeping with the brilliance of his 2018 debut album "Luminous Air", he drops a colourful, picturesque voyage into deep electro territory rich in ear-catching melodies, engaging chord sequences and crunchy machine percussion. To round, label co-founder Owain K returns with "Teifi", another ultra-deep treat: an enveloping, dancefloor excursion rich in fluttering lead lines, slowly expanding chords, vintage bass and punchy drums. A fitting conclusion to Innate's latest immaculate, eyes-closed voyage."

Connecting the Dots between Frankfurt and Offenbach.

The second series of Jacks Tracks VA Vol 2 presents 4 distinctively different tracks from both established and upcoming talent. First up on the A side is Alex Arnout from Dogmatik Records with Hypersomnia, which is a tough rolling number with haunting subtle keys laid over the top. Then A2, the talented Tuccillo from Unblock with his track Another Day brings a deep skippy house vibe with some cool vocal snippets over the top driven by its baseline. On the B side are more Tech House flavours and Fabric resident legend Terry Francis presents Jua which is a timeless House number previously unreleased , now signed and ready for an official vinyl release. Last but not least, young new talent Kilian Vega with Ardour, a groovy infectious rolling underground house vibe. In short, an EP with 4 strong individual tracks from sincere and dedicated music makers.

A true Italian veteran makes his debut on Slow Life, Alex Neri. After hundreds of releases and remixes, he has packed all these years of inspiring music in a well rounded EP of deep, fresh and
timeless tracks.

Gilles Aiken is not short of space in which to express his distinctive ideas about fusing dancefloor minimalism with a global palette. While his more streamlined house and techno fare is generally released under his Edward alias, Desert Sky has carried some of his wilder ideas with stunning results. The first few releases came shrouded in mystery on a self-titled label, but since then Desert Sky has landed on Assemble Music and Baby Ford's iconic PAL SL. Aiken returns to the latter now with a hefty album project that gives Desert Sky the appropriate room to breathe, and Aiken sounds free spirited and expressive through every inch of tumbling percussion, deft handclaps, spooked out textures and more besides. It's a heady trip through dusty samples configured in fresh, invigorating ways, ranking among the strongest artistic statements Aiken has made to date thanks to its worldly inspiration and otherworldly end results.

!K7 reintroduce their DJ-Kicks 12' series and with it, the old tradition of releasing original material exclusively premiered through their globally lauded mix series alongside a selection of remixes hand picked by the compiling artist.
First up to re-establish the tradition is John Talabot who's swooning and balmy contribution to the DJ-Kicks mix series originally saw the light of day in November 2013 - an offering Derek Miller of RA deemed 'quite possibly the commercial mix of the year''.Now, in Fabruary 2015 Talabot curates an assemblage of mighty remixers including Melchoir Productions Ltd, Oskar Offermann and Mistakes Are Ok in the long awaited presentation of 'Without You'. True to Talabot's canon it's a deeply moving meld of lucent builds and gently mournful melodies that are completely impossible to resist.

Part two in his trilogy of what seems like an aural romp through dance music’s key components, Luke Vibert follows up his ode to the ‘Amen break’ on the sumptuous ‘Luke Vibert presents Amen Andrews’, with a pretty damn thorough modelling of rave roots, in ‘Luke Vibert presents Modern Rave’.

When it comes to bashing out creative, highly complex, yet seemingly simplistic rave bangers, Luke Vibert certainly has the chops for delivering the goods in spades. As an innovator in the field for labels like Ninja Tune, Warp and Rephlex, Vibert digs deep into his floppy disc collection for a glorious ride through familiar samples and hooks, breakbeats and funky basslines and earworm melodies for an indispensable collection of feel good modern rave.

XXX is back with an Split 12“ EP. On the A side we have Spencer Miles and on the AA side Zakmina. Once again XXX brings artists from all around the globe together on 12“. Spencer Miles brings us some dark brooding tracks all the way from Oregon, while Zakmina from Lithuania adds up to the heat with two bangers that for sure will shudder the dancefloor. The artwork is by upcoming photographer Joost Termeer, who is based in Utrecht in the Netherlands. When he heard the track he thought of fire, which was the inspiration for the artwork. We couldn’t agree more.

LAs the first release on Phonica White back in 2009, 'Galaxy' by Japan's Iori is an expertly crafted piece of dancefloor-focused Techno, led by a rolling bassline and crisp hi-hats, with hypnotic melody patterns skittering off the surface. As we described it upon release, it's a trippy but accessible heads-down affair that has the depth and the bite to do damage at peak-time and in the after-hours alike. A decade later, those words still ring true and as it's now one of the most sought after records on Phonica White it's the perfect time to revive it - with a twist.

This time we have freshened up the record by swapping original B-side 'Urge' with a previously unreleased remix of 'Galaxy' from Lord Of The Isles, the producer behind two of Phonica's best received 12's on the main label, 'Year Of The City' & 'Greane / Gigha'. Countering the original's functional sonics, his remix takes the track in a deeper, widescreen direction, swirling the original's components around immersive pads and piano.

To keep collectors of the first pressing happy as well as to differentiate the two versions, the label artwork is the same Pedro Carvalho de Almeida design yet inverted and slightly tweaked to reflect the new tracklist and catalogue number.

Best Works Records is back with a new offering from Spanish artist Luis Junior. The two new tracks "Ipsum" & '2DB2' come with remixes by the production duo Andre Lodemann & Fabian Dikof aswell as one from italian shooting stars Stereocalypse.

Luis Junior's track "Ipsum" continues to play with a slight Spa-nish flair reminiscent of his previous output with us. '2DB2' offers some more floor-ruffness and technoid play.

As remixers we are really happy to have Stereocalypse on board, some might know their amazing work for WhomadeWho. For the second remix label-head Andre Lodemann joins Best Works Records artist Fabian Dikof for their second remix collab after the success of their Compuphonic remix.

Pear enters the new decade with New Members' latest opus Deep In The Night. Three tracks expanding the Donabate hero’s singular universe to ravier, more anthemic heights.

The title track is a right beast, giddily soaring through decades of dance eras past with expert poise. Its hard housed pumping core and diva mantras soon erupt into trance(cstatic) bliss, eliciting Pear’s biggest hands-in-the-air moment yet. Addictive stuff.

Stargazer shifts focus, locking in deep with an aerated roller reminiscent of early noughties tech. Serene pads suspend across its chugging low end, indulging sun-rise euphoria for ‘floors & headphones alike. Forcefield Shifta sees us out, stepping sharp with reinforced hardcore energy. New Members flexes his breadth as one of Dublin’s most talented producers.

For the next release on the unrelenting and genre pushing Hot Creations imprint, musical masterminds Skream and Tom Demac join forces for the first time to deliver the electro bomb EMF. Label head Jamie Jones offers yet another standout rework to add to his ever-expanding catalogue.

Breakbeat rhythms and a pounding bass kick off proceedings as the track unfurls with dramatic synths that culminate in an epic build up, dropping into the intricate electro melody. Jamie provides a mammoth rework as he steers the original into the realm of house. Holding onto the core elements, he adds his signature stamp with an unmistakable bassline.

As one of the UK’s best-loved selectors Skream’s early origins can be found in dubstep before he made a transition into disco, house and techno. In November 2013 he unveiled his new label, Of Unsound Mind and has been signed to a variety of labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Objectivity and We Are The Brave. He’s also produced a constant flow of remixes for labels like Warner, FFRR, Sony, Hot Creations, Watergate and VIVa. Parallel to these pivotal releases he also showcased his eclectic tastes at his Skreamizm parties across the UK and the rest of the world.

North Wales native Tom Demac first came to attention via his own Electronique Audio imprint in 2004 but it’s his affiliation with Hypercolour that really kick started his ascension to being a global force within the house and techno scene. His passion for performing live has seen him play from DC10 to Freerotation. He’s also released on a number of labels including a collaboration with Duncan Jones of Silverclub and an EP on Kompakt with Real Lies.

Tiga is back to tell you what you've always needed to hear with his new single "Eye Luv U". Co-produced by one half of Paranoid London, the new single harnesses all the pure source energy of what enlightened club-goers often describe as their favourite emotion. "The title came to me while I was playing a pyramid that had been converted into a multi-purpose event space", says the Canadian DJ/Producer. The hieroglyphics over what is now the coat check made me imagine a world in which pictures could mean words and words could mean anything. The thing about wordplay is that it's fascinating to conceive of different realities informed by different systems of meaning, and how each reality would invariably bend to vault me to the pinnacle of all possible worlds. It's humbling, really.

This release comes with some island vibes from Ibiza duo 2VILAS.Release starts strong with Rais, a powerhouse intended for peak time hours - guaranteed to blow up any dance floor. The remix from Funk E comes in with some laid back Romanian grooves and a dreamy pad that sets up the vibe nicely.On the flip side we have some more balearic grooves, MNML provides a nice mood for those late mornings. To round off the EP, we have a special Tool, sure to get things going in any kind of situation.

Unic return with the second wave on their sub-label apă, as they shine a light on mystery producer Dorothy’s Dream with his debut 12”. There is an enchanting, fluid hypnosis that is cast across the Ep. As subtly warm pads, soothing vocal lines and resonant, bubbling basslines absorb the listener into a deeply meditative state. A stunning debut vinyl from an artist who’s just warming up.

The label ZIEMIA (Polish for EARTH) is centred around a growing group of friends from Poland. Administered by Bartosz Kruczyñski (Earth Trax), Adam Brocki and Jan Wójcicki (Private Press), it is a natural extension of a studio in the heart of Warsaw, where the majority of their music is being created. Ambient sounds and club vibes make the foundation layers of this collaboration, and you can see this theme evolving in some of their first releases on labels such as Growing Bin, Into The Light, Shall Not Fade, Indigo Aera, Phonica Records and Dopeness Galore. ZIEMIA's focus positions itself between club music and ethereal with an Eastern European background.

The second release captures different shades of club environment, from the straight-forward, rough DJ tool by Earth Trax and Newborn Jr. (A1) to deeper and more ethereal dub oriented grooves of Private Press (A2, B1). The last cut on the EP is an after hour downtempo anthem (Earth Trax and Newborn Jr. again), with uplifting pads and chilling leads layered over deep TR-808 drums.

Leading the charge on the EP, ‘Get A Funk’ is a slice of straight up, groovy, vocal-laden tech house that is so hooky, you’ll be whistling, humming and singing it around the aisles of your local supermarket before you know it! Mendo has always been masterful at creating the most infectious grooves on his records, and this is no exception; pure tribal, sexy house music at it’s very best.

Having made his debut on Drumcode in January, the evergreen Italian producer is back with another four-track EP to follow up the enormously well received 'Prisma' EP. Supported by DJ's from across the spectrum from Drumcode stalwarts like Alan Fitzpatrick (Prisma) and Slam (Self Control) to house music legend Erick Morillo (Back To Zero), Paganini's reputation within techno circles is well established with a recent discography that boasts Plus 8, Form and Octopus Recordings alongside Drumcode.

Eros sets the tone for the EP with a hypnotic fusion of mechanical robot funk pitched to a shunting percussive groove that weaves its way through subtle washes of faint vocal snippets. Egoism ups the intensity with a cavernous big room workout that pairs heavyweight throbbing bass and harmonic rhythms to create a deep, snaking sonic ride.
The Gypsy slips back down through the gears to work up a bumping groove that combines exotic tribal rhythms with otherworldly effects and wonky vocoder vocals. Finally, Wooden Toys continues the percussive feel of the EP with a slamming tech cut built on a swaying groove and punctuated with distinct rhythms and drawn out pads.

Please Don’t Leave opens with a striped back vocal courtesy of Sam Threadgold, it develops with a hypnotic melody and layered percussive sounds. The vocal hook hints at a long-lost lover whilst the pulsing beat draws the listener in. New York’s Serge Devant is on remix duty and it’s a typically minimal affair with an acid-tinged bassline and a nod to the early hours. Also, NiCe7 provides a club friendly edit on the B2.

A mainstay in the house scene for over ten years, Leon has produced a number of recognised tracks on labels including; Saved Records, Defected, VIVa, ReBirth whilst event highlights include; Sunwaves, Pacha and Ministry Of Sound. NiCe7 are famed for their chart topping hits and high energy shows. The duo have performed at Space, Watergate and Ministry of Sound with releases on; Snatch!, Noir Music, Get Physical, Gruuv and Mother. Rising the ranks from an early age, Serge Devant’s breakthrough was in 2005 with ‘Fearing Love’ on Emerald City. A firm favourite on Damian’s imprint, Serge Devant last featured on the label in 2018 featuring an Archie Hamilton remix. A regular on the global scene, Devant has toured with Music On, Circoloco, Day Zero, Paradise and Black Coffee.

For our sixth release, Parang Recordings is proud to present our first various artists compilation EP, featuring both emerging and established talents with a range of sounds from diverse backgrounds.

Lil Sorry and Lord of Leisure, both producers from Offenbach whose work has appeared on some of our favorite house labels, showcase Offenbach’s established deep house vibe with their contributions veering towards the gentle, the sublime, and the melodic. The understated dub influences in Lil Sorry’s ‘High Noon’ help to disguise its brisk tempo, further submerged by foregrounding of textured pads and wayward electronics that take center stage on this subdued groove. Lord of Leisure’s ‘Coffee N Chups’ is a sunrise house groover powered by funky bass and choppy hat and snare combos that keep the drive over sustained pads and a deep, repeating melody.

Shifting scenes to the UK for Manchester’s Spin Fidelity, a newly established name from releases on Barcelona’s revered Subwax, we find the toughest offering, a Detroit-inspired gem that lands solidly in the morning slot.

Rounding out the VA we have the head of London’s Rube Goldberg Series, Bowyer, who has so far remained mostly on his own imprint and is the freshest face here. His ‘Livelovelaugh’ closes the EP with its brightest offering, all melodic bassline, sunny keyboards, and worked vocal snippets with a punchline vocal at dramatic points to reinforce its uplifting demeanor.

It's been almost three years since our good friend Giorgio Maulini made his first appearance on the label. Since then, it's only been upwards and onwards for the young talent, between founding his own imprint and events label "Underground Town" and becoming a Modernity resident, to name only a few achievements.

Spaceport is a driving yet fairly stripped-back piece of music, somewhere in between tech-house and micro-house. The omnipresent synth riff is a backbone to a solid groove just right for buillding up towards middle of the night intensity. Atmospheric synth chords bring a delicate third dimension to the track for an overal well-balanced work, nice job!

On the remix, we couldn't be happier to welcome an artist who has been making serious waves with a very specific, easy to recognise signature-style: Mr Silat Beksi. The feel is slightly nastier and dirtier than the original and the energy is taken down a notch. Listen as your brain is teased and seduced by the female vocal FX braking the monotony and lovely delicate keyboard patterns contribute to a rich clever arrangement.

One of the most eagerly anticipated electronic albums of 2012 is finally released! After a series of groundbreaking singles: 'Pain In the Ass', 'I'm Week' and 'Ghetto Kraviz' (featured here) Muscovite Nina Kraviz is set to release her eponymously titled debut artist album on Radio Slave's superb Rekids imprint.

Nina's album is a combination of stripped-bare house, deepest Detroit sounds via beautifully ambient pockets and more soul infused slo-mo jams, all coated with an authentic analogue finish and Nina exquisite vocals. The music is emotive and engaging, whilst being something truly original and inspirational. The album features collaborations with Hard Ton and King Aus. Playing out like a full artistic statement rather than just a collection of tracks, the odd time signatures, innocent and waify vocals, muted acid lines and hypnotic loops layered up by Nina all work subtly at pulling you into her world. A superbly, executed and accomplished debut album that has already set the bar high for electronic albums this year.

UK producer Pierre Codarin launches his self-titled imprint with three rhythmic house cuts from himself this January.
Establishing a name in recent years by dropping solid releases on the likes of Leftroom, Resonance Records and Huxley & Jimmy Posters Saints & Sonnets, news of Pierre Codarins decision to form an imprint will please fans of his distinct sounding aesthetic. A burgeoning star that continually turns the heads of his industry peers, Codarins rise is indisputably envious having garnered early support from the likes of Mr. G, Rolando, Groove Armada, A Sagittariun, Laurent Garnier and Raresh.

The A side sees Codarin employ firm kicks and piercing snares in a mesmerising roller complete with a heady bassline, spectral atmospherics and various subtleties throughout the mix. B1 is then more understated in nature, featuring shuffling hats, chilling pads and intricate details, before the B2 delivers a fuzzy hook, acid licks and esoteric whirrs for a track geared for peaktime bedlam.

There is a truly heavy weight selection of artists involved in the project and the first edition 'carbon' leads with contributions from two of the most influential electro producers of all time The Hacker and 214, who both deliver unforgiving hard hitting excursions to future worlds. On the other side Reedale Rise sheds some light with 'Lux' before the record is beautifully closed with an uplifting composition for space travel - 'The Gap' by Derek Carr. Artwork is supplied in a collectible series of spectrographs in limited edition spot colour sleeves.

Watergate’s new resident and agency signing Braunbeck steps up for his label debut.
Braunbeck’s punchy grooves and tender melodies have been sound-tracking Watergate since 2017 when the Stuttgart native made an unassuming Wednesday night debut at the O*RS label event in March that year. Since then, the artist has built fans and cred in equal measures, playing regularly for WG, playing Circoloco in Ibiza and launching the fledgling Sol Eterno imprint.
His maiden outing for Watergate’s home label epitomises his natural talent. ‘Samsa’ pairs him with Berlinbased, Australian DJ and producer Eluize, who supplies a searching vox over twirling layers of melody and sparse percussion. Jonathan Kaspar follows with a stunning adaption of ‘Samsa’ made for misty-eyed rave mornings. ‘De Trum’ is an effective dancefloor tool, built around a metallic drum-line. The EP rounds outwith ‘Blocklife’, which distills all of Braunbeck’s sonic building blocks into one stirring finale.
