After shooting out his introspective album NACHT, AFN-Head Johannes Klingebiel goes for something completely different with his first full solo EP for his label. The title track "It's such a beautiful day" and "Dream" follow roughly the patches of that genre labeled "Lo-Fi-House" without simply imitating them. On the flipside you'll get Johannes' trademark melodic melancholic house vibes with slow-burner "Here + There" and cosmic beast "Under The Hood". Four tracks ready for a festival summer that wasn't meant to be. But maybe we can still enjoy this very beautiful day...

On the heels of the success of their very sought-after Edits EP
ALMA & MATER are providing their first full-on solo EP for Ancient
Future Now. And they have an urgent message they like to convey:
PLEASE DON’T INTEND TO LET YOUR INTELLECT DOMINATE YOU, freely
adapted from a quote by the one and only Susan Sontag. And
the music follows suit; no heady over-complication, instead we
get no-nonsense basslines and grooves and marimba melodies that
will surely dominate your feet.On the flip we have ADA
(Pampa, Areal)and HADE for two very different but equally charming
remixes, which perfectly complement each other.

For the third and (for the time being) final part of our remix series
we've got the two and only TUFF CITY KIDS working their magic with their extremely smooth "Eau De Remix" for Sunrom, which goes down like Kölnisch Wasser. We've got MARBOD shaving Rhytch's head in a very big and dark beauty parlor. We've got ZILLAS ON ACID living up to their name with their "Ultramodern heartbreaker mix". We've got DJ GROUND doing his very unique DJ Ground thing with his "Kofun" Remix, which translates to "ancient grave", if you were wondering. We've got happy faces.
