CEM3340 is back on Lunar Orbiter Program withi his first LP. Mastered at Reel Mastering, London

Fresh from a packed summer of Ibizan parties Darius Syrossian is back on Hot Creations with his pumping Danzer EP featuring a remix from the prolific remixer Adesse Versions.

Darius explains that the idea for Danzer was born out of frustration with current music sounding the same. Inspired by a Floorplan Boiler Room set he wanted to make a track 'that has the energy of techno, some funk flavours and also heavily disco influenced. It became a firm favourite at my Amnesia residency with DO NOT SLEEP'.

Danzer is an utterly insatiable peak-time cut with a dizzying drop, powerful female vocal hook and scintillating strings. The techno tool version does what it says on the tin, adding an almighty bassline that reverberates throughout. Initially beginning life as a vinyl edits project, Adesse Versions has gone on to have releases on revered labels including Razor N Tape and Delusions Of Grandeur. On his version he flips the track on its head, taking it on an altogether different route, layering extra percussive pads and womping synths.

2018 has been a huge year for Darius Syrossian. He began a new residency at Ibiza's infamous Amnesia, alongside big names including Cassy, Martin Buttrich and Alan Fitzpatrick. No stranger to the White Isle, he's also held down residencies at some of the island's most prestigious venues. Syrossian has had releases signed to impressive imprints from Moon Harbour to 8Bit and Get Physical to We Are The Brave. This year also saw Darius begin his radio show on Rinse FM, with the imminent launch of his own label, Mozy Muzik, still to come.

It's good to know those 'wow!' moments still exist, like when we heard the first few seconds of DeWalta's 'Bitter Earth Dub". First things first though... this latest adventure in Cocoon's cult 10inch vinyl-only series comes from said David Koch aka DeWalta with Alex & Digby also turning heads with 'Citadel' on the flipside. Hailing from Berlin, DeWalta, has clearly been influenced by the musical heritage of Basic Channel or classics such as G-Man's Spartacus - a force and power that still has a place in the sets of Villalobos, Raresh and many other DJs, and rightly so. Timeless, kicking, reduced to the essentials but still interfused with daring space sounds and melodic shreds, 'Bitter Earth Dub' speaks to our deepest dance impulses, catches hold and doesn't let go. We're already calling out to Berlin for 'more of the same' and looking forward to the next cuts to emerge from DeWalta's Studio. On the Flipside, the opening salvos of 'Citadel' suggest Alex & Digby are taking a much more minimal, electronic approach, however it soon veers off in a completely different direction. Deep organ harmonies meet Black Dog and B12-like sound effects and an almost soulful deepness takes hold as we immerse ourselves in the track. 'Citadel' offers the perfect canvas for DJs who like using acapellas to create their own remixes live in the club, but even in its original form, it's still guarenteed to give the crowd goose bumps.

Born in the south of Italy in 1987, Francesco de Paola never intended to end up as a DJ/producer. He graduated in biomedical engineering. But his love for music, fuelled by the presence of musicians in his family, eventually led him to be a regular presence in the Turin clubbing scene. He started to follow his passion for electronic dance music and played the decks at Turin's most famous clubs.

He also started producing, releasing his first EP in 2012. His style moves on the verge of old skool and new skool, and does so perfectly. For this EP, Frankie Dep has created a luscious deep house track, on which 2000 and One and Danny Serrano each have taken their own point of view.

Full of soul, swing and extremely funky, Danny Serrano has created a tech house version of 'The Tattoo I Wanted'. A real party number, but with that classic juice that soaks the entire EP.

"This release is pure sundown pressure from the start. Just like the Waxing Gibbous moonrise the namesake EP transforms you ready for the descent into the dark night. A1 'Zero Gravity' launches into takeoff with a trajectory course aimed straight for the dancefloor. Sub bass and crisp percs put this track firmly in driving seat. A.2 'Tidal Wave' is flooded with 'Dub' influence. With a tape delay in full effect the low end modulates warm and easy from edge to edge. B1 'Lunar Blueprint' shifts gears and closed the EP in the Dub Techno arena. The hollow melody haunts the track and progresses through each section while spooky samples laced with reverb orbit a tepid bassline produced especially for
those dark hours.

Launched back in 2015, Jean Yann Records celebrates its 3rd anniversary with a vinyl only compilation definitely dancefloor oriented. The EP features 4 exclusive tracks from Daniel Jaeger, Philippe Autuori, Bruno Otranto, and Tantra.

Daniel Jaeger opens the dance with Moaning Birds' a dub infused melodic track driven by synthesizers and a deep dark bassline. With releases on Bar25 and Heinz Music, the member of the Berlin Criminal Bassline collective offers once again a well-rounded Tech House piece for all dancefloor aficionados.
 With early releases on Steve Bug's label Poker Flat and Hypercolour, Philippe Autuori delivers with Suzan's Rodeo' a groovy track powered by a bassline that evokes racing horses. The mysterious race takes a sharp turn with the apparition of deep chords coupled with a powerful acid synth lead. This electronic rodeo is the perfect soundtrack to make our inner dormant horses dance.

On the B-side, Spanish artist Bruno Otranto from Monog Records enters a progressive territory with Epiphanie'. Built on a terrific acid bassline, the track is propelled by hypnotic chopped vocals and a straight up beat. The musical arrangement turns the spell into a charm offering listeners an epiphany of rhythm and sounds.
 The duo Tantra close up this compilation with Kamachi Meenatchi' a captivating and intriguing track in their own style, a unique blend of deep Tech House and East-Asia influences. The Tech On Sunday' promoters drop with this track a bomb guaranteed to send festival floors into a trance.

Fango's new EP series enters into its second instalment with "Urano 2/3", continuing the journey of this trilogy dedicated to te God of the sky.

John Tejada and Arian Leviste are back on Areal after their much celebrated release "Reactance".
These guys are working for 25 years together meeting up weekly in the studio to try new things. They say themselves that it is their longest and most special collaboration. They use mainly hardware with an old school mind set that comes more from the early 80s NYC hip hop culture than anything else. Early pioneers misusing gear and making the best of their limitations. Their newest release "Hysteresis" comes along strongly functional for the club.

Machines breathe on A1, where throbbing synth-bass meets timeless vocoder, as premiered on DJ Tennis' Essential Mix debut. The afterparty and warehouse meld on the flip, a mind-bending time-warp - somewhere between panic and introspection. Technicolour signee, Dauwd, aces his re-depicton of the title track, hinting at golden-era Chain Reaction, while Kiwi slows down Salsce, retaining all of its drive, adding further cosmic brushstrokes. Scenario founder Sebo K returns to Rekids with four inspiriting cuts titled 'Stories We Tell Ourselves' EP.

Berliner Sebo K has put out nothing but quality records since his production debut in 2002, establishing a solid reputation for high standard house music. However, recent years have seen Sebo demonstrate just how versatile he can be as an artist, releasing on Bass Culture, helming his respected Scenario label, not to mention his acclaimed 'Patience' LP which dropped on Rekids in 2017. Returning to Radio Slave's imprint, 'Stories We Tell Ourselves' EP is another breath of fresh air from the imaginative artist, returning to a label roster spanning artists like Nocow, Swayzak, P.Leone, Tripeo, and more.

'Nebula' suitably reflects the given name, offering an otherworldly experience integrating elevating polyphonic swirls and floating electro hallmarks before the beatless 'Sous Les Étoiles' generates an uplifting atmosphere through deep melodies and delicate textures. The 'Vista' EP caps off an intensely busy year for Geoff Kirkwood, otherwise known as Man Power. The British DJ/producer has become quite the 'tour de force' in 2018, with releases and remixes for Futureboogie, DFA, Correspondant, Exotic Series, Skint Records, and his very own Me Me Me imprint. So it seems quite fitting to seal a productive 12 months with a release on Richy Ahmed's Four Thirty Two, a label that itself has been firing out big releases this year from EJECA, Jansons & Senzala and Ahmed himself. And joining this big end of year party, enter stage left, Roman Flu¨gel, who delivers an absolutely stellar remix of 'Vista'. Meaty synths and clattering 909 drums are doused in futuristic Italo disco vibes for
'Outrider', whilst a winning combo of breakbeats and acid affected bass provide the backbone of the simply gargantuan 'Vista'. Roman Flu¨gel's interpretation of the title track brings the break to the fore, playfully teasing out the acidic sounds and surging strings for another truly memorable remix that we've come to expect from Mr. Flu¨gel. Closing the EP, 'Poly Pop' delivers a vivid and bright burst of melody over clanking

German production maestro, Butch, joins the Crosstown Rebels family this winter with his remix package for the enigmatic Tuvaband.

Recalling the first time he heard the track, Butch says; 'I loved the hypnotic vocals and started using it in my sets, mixing it into other tracks to make it work in clubs'. He hopes that this electronic version will make the record 'accessible to a whole new crowd'.

The original cut of Trees is a beautifully, melancholic number with Tuva's enchanting vocals dancing across the guitar-led track. On his take on the song, Butch adds dark electronic elements, glitchy components and a heady bass, whilst still retaining a euphoric feel that will work perfectly on the floor.

Butch's illustrious career is proof that the German-producer does not shy away from hard work and it's one that has seen him awarded the accolade of Best Producer two years in a row from Groove Magazine. He's worked alongside heavyweights including Ricardo Villalobos and has released on acclaimed labels such as Moon Harbour, Saved, Rebirth and Watergate. Tuvaband originally began life as a duo, but is now the solo project of Norwegian songstress Tuva Hellum Marschhäuser. Tuva, whose music has drawn comparisons to the great Bon Iver, writes, produces and records all of her own material and has received support from BBC Radio 1 and The Independent as well as being a regular on the festival circuit.

We are happy to welcome back the Swiss producer Buraq (Bondage Music, Cyclic) with his his 2nd EP for Bondage-Music. Early in life he discovered his love for music and decided to become a DJ in 2005. Just half a year after he had bought his first DJ equipment he made his debut in nightlife. From day one he enjoyed being in clubs and burning the candle at both ends with party people in different clubs. His youthful enthusiasm quickly rubs off on the crowd and that's how every night with him becomes a great experience. After establishing himself as a DJ in the club scene, he decided to construct a music studio and produce his own music.

His new record contains the deep and grooving tracks "Captured", "Underrated", "Departed", furthermore we are pleased to bring you with "Exploited" a vinyl only track on B1.

offering in this four part series.

Tuccillo takes the lead with his interpretation of 'Focus', and as always from the Ibiza-based
Unblock music founder we're treated to intricately programmed, smooth and hypnotic material laid
out over seven and a half minutes with a deftly unfolding dynamic feel.
El Mundo's take on 'Triumph' follows, dropping the tempo and instilling a Latin edge to things via organic percussion, emotive strings and mystical vocals.

Frankfurt's Sascha Dive then offers up his 'Atmospheric Dub' of 'Music 999' to open the flip side,
as the name would suggest shining light on billowing dub stabs, ethereal atmospheres and robust
rhythms before Kevin Yost closes the package with his percussive driven 'Hynposia' remix.

From the redwood forests of Big Sur and the industrial warehouses of downtown Los Angeles comes PFEIFFER, a label dedicated to quality and a diverse musical output. Pfeiffer follows in the footsteps of labels such as Svek and Kompakt, known for releasing a wide range of techno and house with a common thread of unique and unpredictable energy. Looking to bring this type of eclectic curation into the modern era, Pfeiffer draws inspiration from the raw simplicity and effortless magnetism of its namesake location on the central coast of California.

February 9th marks the release of Pfeiffer's first musical offering. A-side 'Big Tent' sets the tone with raw, minimal percussion and acid tinged melodies. B-Side 'Twist' brings a healthy dose of Chicago and Detroit influence to a track that feels colder than house, but warmer than techno. The first of many releases to come, PFE001 marks the tip of the iceberg for Pfeiffer, a label which will continue to reveal itself over time.

US born and meanwhile in Berlin residing Kevin McHugh aka Ambivalent presents his Cocoon Recordings single debut. Ambivalence seems to the be the musical direction here. Daylights is a sheer technomonster, musclepacked and full of dark detroit flavour but the used vocal samples and the harmonic synthstrings can't hide the magic touch of Daylights". Although the massive techno bassline is the star of this track we are sure it will find its way into the sets of many house DJs, too. In contrast to that Swung Out appears way more like pure techno and cannot be filed as house at all. We are hypnotized by the shuffled rim shots and hi hats and Ambivalent drives this one straight through the dub universe. Techno is the destination and the dark vibe of Swung Out makes it a perfect after hour weapon.

With 'El Tunel / Proceso', Marc Pinol and Hugo Capablanca aced their blend of industrial, acid, techno and new beat in an EP that remains one of the most celebrated moments in the Hivern catalogue. Now, the evasive duo return to set the bar even higher. Four years might seem quite a lot of time, but for C.P.I. it was the necessary period to get rid of expectations and let space for something new to emerge. Studio sessions in places like Berlin, Barcelona, and Belgrade brought together an amalgam of voices, spontaneous liasons, mutations and surprising movements that finally crystallised in the four cuts that conform 'Meine Hand'. 'Masa y Poder' and 'Sendero Luminoso' are two sides of the same coin. Under all the layers, both ride exactly the same rhythm. Two completely different paths that share a common starting point. One builds tension on the dancefloor. The other one tries to fool the threat in the mist. With it's unrelenting acid bassline and lethargic vocals, 'Meine Hand' feels like some kind of love from above, yet another unexplainable conclusion. 'Ninos de Belgrado' are, in fact, the children of Belgrade. High on drugs. An impending sense of doom. Longing for wasted years or perhaps an external threat lurking, who knows. Vinyl comes in a standard black cover with insert by designer Arnau Pi.

After the success of the latest release from label boss John Dimas with his debut Album 'One Against Time' Elephant Moon is back with a 3 track EP from the mysterious Y&E featuring a very special remix from UK legend 100Hz.

Acid Pauli's album BLD dropped earlier this year and was a superb reminder of Martin Gretschmann's unique place within the electronic music. Breathing musicality and adventurousness into everything that he does, the album covered a number of moods and emotions, from dystopian carnivalesque vibes to moments of high intensity, through to deep melancholia and synth laden ambience. Following on from the 'A' remix package, 'B' brings another huge selection of producers into the fray to reinterpret the originals. First up, Hamburg hero Stimming works over 'Amadou' - flipping the original, into a techy bomb. A thick kick underpins a shuffling, off kilter rhythm and beautifully treated melodics. Stimming's feel for gently pushing the dancefloor into new places shines through. 'René' is reworked by Roman Flügel, the Ongaku/Klang/Playhouse boss whose influence on the European electronic music scene has been immense. Always willing to experiment, 'René' is the perfect canvas - arpeggiated blips and beeps echo primitive electronic explorations by the likes of Francis Bebey, and a huge subby kick drum take this track into space. Alex Boman sets to work on 'Jeanne', locking into his signature groovy, tribal approach to working the dancefloor. The Swedish producer adds dubby elements, an irresistible percussion track and disruptive, random sounds to the thick, heady mix. Dutch wunderkind Satori tackles 'Jorge' - twisting the original into a psychedelic groover that finds room for backwards vocals, marimba-like melodies, fat basslines and shuffling breakbeats.

Panea 004 is returning with a personal point of view by Aleexe. Expect housey atmospheres, some broken beats with powerful baselines and a delightful downtempo trip. This being the first of a trilogy of releases by Panea artists.

Both children of the illustrious nightlife of trend capital Zurich, Adrian Flavor and Samy Jackson - better know as Animal Trainer - made a name for themselves with their Rakete parties, held mostly at their home base, the chic Hive club. As dedicated music lovers and passionate entertainers, it was a natural progression for the duo to channel their constant appetite for music and endless parties into their own sounds. Thus, their first baby steps were released on Stil vor Talent in the form of 'Talkshow' in 2008. Today, in February 2014, after numerous releases on renowned labels such as Katermukke, Dantze, Off Recordings or their own Hive Audio, the joyous duo is presenting the debut album 'Wide' on SVT. Here, on the first of two EPs, two of the album's highlights are featured alongside high calibre remixes by Oliver Koletzki, Oliver Schories and Zombie Disco Squad. Animal Trainer show a completely new side to their productions on the excellent electronica track 'The Walk', on which dub chords pulsate through a broken beat structure and creaking synths. The fragile piano does, however, steal the show here. While Oliver Koletzki decides to significantly up the tempo on his epic, trance-inspired rework, Oliver Schories opts for a contemporary deep house interpretation built around a low-slung bass-line and emotive chords. 'Shane' is a classicistic house homage, alluring the listener with its springy step and feel-good vocal sample - key features that Zombie Disco Squad emphasise on their sprightly rude-boy remix.

HIGHTIME Inc. is the unit of the two guys 'DJ TASAKA + J.A.K.A.M. (JUZU a.k.a. MOOCHY)'who know each other since teenage in Tokyo. They have been on their individual career on the different fields. In 2017 they dropped their 1st album 'Alchemsit Now!'which includes various musical influences as
HIPHOP,HOUSE,TECHNO,JUNGLE,WORLD MUSIC etc.. And it does not belong to any of them. Their Miscellaneous blended DJ set with their own tracks explodes vibrantly as a fundamental passion for the dance floor.

Lars Fenin,born and raised in Hamburg has been around the music scene
in berlin since the mid 90ties as reggae guitarist/songwriter/live-act/artist/producer/dj.
His first experiments in electronic music started in 1998 with some friends in Hamburg, followed two years later by his
first Ep release called 'Herr Pitzelberger dreht auf" for the Berlin based label Shitkatapult.
Since then Fenin has released several Eps and albums for his homies Shitkatapult as well as 12" s and remixes for
labels like Echocord, Revolver, Eintakt and Mitek among others. Along the years he could boast collaborations with artists
such as Deadbeat, Mikael Stavöstrand, D-meteo, k.j.gibbs,Horace Andy, der dritte raum, Eraldo Bernocchi and Jeff Milligan. Since 2008 he runs also his own label called "Dock-records"..

Soundwise, Fenin's productions range from roots reggae/dub pieces
to cordish/melodic techno sets and electronic alike soundscapes.

The future is unwritten.

Following on from his second long player, Romanian artist Mihai Popoviciu's distinguished 2016 offering 'Home' is set to undergo a weighty four-part remix project, with remixes from Steve Bug, Kevin Yost, Sascha Dive, Tuccillo and more. Mihai Popoviciu: "The album's called "Home" because it is inspired by my experiences from my home city Sibiu in Romania. Home is also the place where the album was produced, in my stripped down studio. It is where I always return to rest and chill after touring the world and the place where I feel most safe and comfortable. The artwork shows an image of the airport lane in Sibiu with surrounding hills and mountains in the back. It is a metaphoric "gate" to both leave and return home." With 'Home' gaining the attention and picking up support from the likes of Ryan Crosson, Luciano and Cesar Merveille, the Bondage-Music team now welcome to an array of talent to the label for 2017 as the LP is deconstructed and reworked across four brand new packages, with Part One dropping in early May. Part One is opened by Poker Flat boss Steve Bug's hazy interpretation of 'Focus', which floats effortlessly amongst precise drum work, subtle vocals and rich chords.
Next Up, Pornbugs & Dilby serve up a classy rework of 'Sunshine' by utilizing the originals dubby atmospherics and laying the focus on a rolling, deep lying groove, before Peter Makto & Gregory S unveil their minimal yet emotive remix of 'Data On Data'. Pablo Cahn is a talented producer hailing from and currently residing in Bogota, Colombia. Soul Rain' is his third release on Cadenza, and it comes with a massive remix by the Spanish don Paco Osuna. The original mix of Pablo is a long attractive dance floor tune textured by an overwhelming bass line and a deluge of vocal grains that shapes a large number of fills and break downs all over the track. As the journey go further, a complex twist of harmonies and resonances arise from the rhythmic grounds, shining over a blissful body of beats. Paco Osuna's remix recap all the rhythmic elements and shrink the vocal drizzle maintaining their relevance to the building of the track. The bare inter-twin of its relentless bass line and its stinging hi-hats works out a magnificent outbreak of the dense original tissue of chords.

Bondage-Music head honchos Pornbugs prep the labels next release for early April comprising three original tracks and a remix from Mihai Popoviciu. Since 2006, German duo Pornbugs have been pushing their minimal yet ambitious dance floor orientated house music through clubs across the globe, with their label Bondage-Music acting as a catalyst for forward thinking music. Bondage-Music also works as an outlet for other talented producers including Romania's Mihai Popoviciu and inmotion music signee Markus Homm to further develop their sound. Fresh from a string of early 2017 digital releases from Frink and Sous Sol, April sees Bondage-Music's first vinyl offering of the year, kick started with the subtle and melodic cut "When You Are gone", which takes a deep groove and laces it with a plethora of soft synths and atmospherics. Mihai Popoviciu then reworks "When You Are gone" into a different entity, rewiring a headier groove into the track with raw-defined hats, building further tension with tight synth stabs and ethereal pads. "Innocent" then takes tribal tinged percussion to new depths, fuelling it with booming kicks and flourishing chords, further intensified by swirling vocals. A pure dub aesthetic then shines through "Maritza", as saturated drums and a rumbling low end provide the skeleton for swelling synths to meander alongside spiritual vocals, closing out the package.

After offering-up Paratrooper as part of DJ Tennis' recent DJ Kicks, the Israeli duo Red Axes arrive on Life and Death for an original EP. Sami is a post-Moondog Shamanic tribal trip, while Round combines dilapidated Post-Goa electronics with just the right amount of cowbells and guitars psych. Vego is a lo-if western spaghetti full of Tape delays and amplifiers sauce , while Pulse waves and wind blows on a big Russian bell at the title track Kalacol. A record that could only come from Niv and Dori - another reconfiguration of the Life and Death mausoleum.

At LDDLM, we try not to reminisce, that was just setting the mood.We are very happy to welcome ARTHUR JOHNSON in our non-fold, a young producer from Liege via Marseille and La Dame Noir. AJ is amongst those ever mutating artists, his u-turns slowly composing a real personality, and one fitting our contrarian attitude. In a way PERFECT STRANGER reminds us of a good 90's Farley/Heller remix, not so much camp Fire Island than almost sweaty late night trancer. We love those tracks that do not fit our ethos a priori but that we can't stop playing. COSMO VITELLI is a long time family friend and he beams up this stranger through the axis into some kind of romantic italo-german anthem.
BALLADA and SECRETARY DISCORDIA show a different side of AJ, a dub march echoing Dif Juz and a percussive machine funk number. We sincerely hope AJ keeps on straying for the best, his way being our way.

Hommage is the record label of Monkey Safari and Karl Friedrich. Founded in 2013, Hommage has been a platform for independent releases, with a focus on synergies between like-mined artists.

The next Hommage release comes from Avidus, an up-and-coming duo from Kiel, Germany, consisting of Fritz Wagner and Marc Wolf.

While Fritz was working on his own music, Marc was busy djing and throwing parties, inviting the likes of Âme, Marcus Worgull, and Roman Flügel. At some point their paths crossed and Avidus was born. Expect to hear more from this exciting and talented new act on Hommage!

'Revenge of the Whales' with its symphonic deepness reflects the mystic, melodic sounds of whale songs - that are heard for miles in the ocean. As longtime part of their energetic Live Sets 'Ruins' brings out the quiter, deeper Part of their EP.

The two brothers from Halle, Monkey Safari, subjoin a mighty, propellant remix of 'Revenge of the Whales' that will certainly create a fire on the dancefloor.

Marino Canal has carved his own staple sound in the techno scene through a stream of solid releases. His productions are best described as organic, hypnotic and melancholic, so is his beautiful remix of 'Ruins'.

Blawan returns to R&S with a superb new single. What You Do With What You Have is another step up for the young producer, following the Bohla EP and his huge Getting Me Down white label. It takes a fundamental message from some KDJ spoken word and twists it through submerged acid lines, trademark driving percussion and classic techno stabs.

After long being a supporter of the label, Knee Deep In Sound boss Hot Since 82 now steps up to release on Moon Harbour. The Englishman's original is remixed by Matthias Tanzmann to make for an essential new package.

Hot Since 82 ascended through the ranks very quickly, and now he not only turns out a slick style of house and tech, but holds his own label showcases all over the world. With legions of fans and an ever growing roster, it has become a real taste making operation, as have Daley Padley's own fine productions.

'Evolve or Die' is another one of those: it is an expressive eight minute affair that journeys far off into the cosmos, with twinkling keys and lush synth layers all adding colour and intergalactic vibes to the firmly rooted kicks and claps. Bursts of white noise release the pressure and the whole thing keeps on building to a terrifically intense peak that will have dancefloors in raptures.

The remix from Tanzmann is a deeper, more rumbling affair led by jostling kick drums and slick bass. Run through with radiant synth smears, it's full of warmth and soul and cannot help but get you jiggling your body in that textbook Tanzmann way.

This is a tight and tidy two track package that offers very different sounds for different parts of the night.

Ahead of Melé stepping up to deliver his coveted In The House compilation, Defected presents a four-track vinyl taster showcasing his standout percussive, tribal sound. From 13-year-old bedroom DJ growing up in the Wirral to his breakout anthem 'Ambience' in 2015, Melé has now fully honed his skills in production and mixing, culminating in two mixes for 'Defected presents Melé In The House' and three brand new productions. All three of these original productions are included in this vinyl sampler along with an exclusive from Joe Corti, demonstrating what's to come from the compilation.

With live percussion from drum warrior Shovell, the cover of 'Pasilda' pumps up the track's unmistakeable rhythms and piano melody (recorded live by prolific record producer Fraser T Smith) with an irresistibly hefty bassline and vocal loops. A long-time highlight of Melé's sets but until now unreleased, 'Pasilda' is an exclusive from the upcoming compilation. 'Tribal Harmonix' is the darker, more melodic and tech-inclined of the three, while the aptly named 'Brooklyn Bounce' is Melé's ode to Danny Tenaglia, a key influence whose sought-after percussive spirit is apparent throughout Melé's work. Finally is 'Dancing Mist', an exclusive from Joe Corti, an up-and-comer from the UK. The sophisticated, New York-inspired, rolling house cut with plenty of bounce rounds off the perfect vinyl selection from the anticipated Defected presents Melé In The House.

With its lush live string and horn section, Can't Stop Loving You when originally released in 1990 was an immediate favorite in the UK, and represented famed House Producer Marshall Jefferson's movement toward utilizing live instrumentation in his productions. The track was released right around the time the Kiss FM London launched as a legal radio station, and Richard was support talent at the radio station launch party in Hyde Park London that was headlined by fellow Chicagoans Ten City.

The track also represented one of the last releases on the relaunched Sam Records imprint, before Michael Weiss ceased releasing new titles on Sam and started Nervous Records.

Krystal Klear has shown a unique ability to recognize sonic elements trends from past eras, and re-shape them to work for today's club crowds. With his two versions, he has done a masterful job remixing this early 90's dance classic.

As part of the MOTHER RECORDINGS family, Berlin-based SUPERLOVER has supplied several outstanding works, such as 'Steam', 'Stronger' (a remix of the Boris Dlugosch Original), 'Love Me' and his summer 2015 anthem 'Love Machine'. 2017 has started with a bang as 'Heart Drive' hit Beatport House Chart at #2. Here, once again, he's supplying absolute fire with a 3-track House EP called 'Piano Wunder'.

'Piano Wunder' is a full frontal assault using house music's favourite instrument, and here, Superlover delivers some energy raising stabbed-chords alongside a whaling female lead vocal to create the tension and release of big room proportions.

'Good Times' rolls out with a hugely emotive, filtered houser, a big, bold nod to the game-changing 00s sound. The chopped-to-bits piano sample is wrapped in phaser and filter effects but it, together with additional strings and a chunky electro house beat, make this an impressive modern take of a bygone sound that will so easily seduce dance floors big and small.

Superlover´s '1996 ' track lights up the dancefloor from the very first beat. He adds to his super funky French House tune a lot of breathing space, slowing things down and filtering and affecting it in all the right places. It makes for a flirtatious work of a classic House tune that'll keep the dancefloor burning all night long.

MOTHER RECORDINGS welcome back esteemed Berlin duo MAT.JOE for another EP that is packed with real heat. Originally from Hannover, they moved to Berlin and have since impressed with their soul infused rhythms on plenty of top labels like Hot Creations & Aaarival, but they are regularly supplying the heat for MOTHER!

LOVE STREAM is first and is a seven minute bubbler with nice loose toms, driving sub bass and classic vocal samples that will get dancers moving and shaking. It's warm and filled with good time vibes.

I GO is more physical, with raw drums and sharp percussive hits all driving along beneath a male vocal with real attitude. It's sleazy and direct and sure to make you sweat. Last of all.

SO HIGH is a big track with powerful drum loops, slapping hits and a fiery vocal that all come with healthy bass and rubbery drums. It's a great way to close out another perfectly functional and fun EP from these ever on point producers.

Psychic Yes and Tech Startup founder Rafael fortuitously met on a Berlin dance floor in late 2017. A long period of digital correspondence followed between Berlin and Seattle, culminating in the inaugural release of the Seattle-based Tech Startup label: TS000001. The project, to be released on November 9th, is comprised of 5 tracks built up from initial recordings of percussion, trumpet, and synthesizers honed into drum-focused dance pieces in the melancholy Berlin winter of 2018. Split in function between the two sides, Side A features dancefloor-ready tracks with Side B containing introspective songs geared towards a home-listening environment.

Field recordings of Scottish stone slates mark the opening track Stone Sound, a tribal-leaning dancefloor cut highlighted by syncopated, pounding percussion and discreet melodies. Spacemaker features organic, sparse breakbeats cloaked in bright, hazey melodies. Delicated is a track that delights as a series of melodic characters move around one another in a foggy electronic atmosphere. Aldhini Theme emerges as the standout track on Side B commencing with undulating sequenced bloops and bleeps that slowly build into a hypnotic slow-burner that resolves on a melody.

Dudley Strangeways & Michael McLardy's Leftback imprint has long been a reputable source of discerning house and techno. On their latest, they remind us just why they've become such a trusted label, with their 14th vinyl-only release emphasising the fact with some aplomb. A collaborative effort between label head Dudley Strangeways and prolific German producer David GTronic, the Diminution EP is a potent reminder of both producer's talents and is a typically eclectic listen to boot.

Opening up the release is the sounds of the title track. A fast-paced, albeit relatively minimal effort, it's made up of few parts but still commands the listener's attention courtesy of its many oddball motifs and an underlying baseline that really provides a spark. A delicate yet intricate track, it's the sort of weapon that will brilliantly bridge the point between the night's more down tempo and peak time moments. TIJN then comes correct on the remix tip with a brilliant remix of the latter. The British producer has been seen his work crop up on a host of esteemed labels recently, and this effort is another that'll slide neatly into an already impressive discography. More frantic than the original, it calls on its charming melodies to produce an ethereal, hypnotic track that will work wonders on a large system.

The B side then kicks off with Melee', a delicate track that's imbued with gentle, sun kissed motifs from the off. Reminiscent of classic Mathew Jonson tracks, it's nothing if not an intriguing antidote to matters elsewhere. Culminating the package is the sounds of label boss Michael McLardy, who perks up with a slamming remix of Melee'. Drawing on the original's emotive sound, he whips the intensity up several notches and leaves us with a track that's notable for its ability to slide into any part of a set. Filled with a range of emotions, it handily emphasises all that's great about this release.

Uruguayan producer Ema Remedi makes her first appearance on the label with three original cuts spanning from deep atmospheres to raw dance floor beats showing us her unique approach to house music.

Breathlessly spanning the genres of House, Tech House and Techno, Fatima and Jerome expose us to their salacious intent. Fresno, mysterious new project will release Loosen Up 001, setting the imprint's sound direction uniting the label dual love of refined house grooves and modular synths on this inaugural four track EP.

When commissioning remixes, the best labels think outside the box. That's exactly what Firecracker's Lindsay Todd did when seeking out producers to rework tracks from Linkwood's excellent Expressions album. On this second 12" in an ongoing series, that faith has paid dividends. Whereas the original version of "Ignorance Is Bliss" was a warm, woozy, sun-kissed deep house affair, Healing Force Project has reinvented it as a stargazing chunk of 21st century space jazz, complete with twinkling chords, low-slung double bass and reverb-laden drum solos. The Musephased interpretation of "Love Lost" by Kimochi label head Area sticks closer to the ultra-deep, melancholic vibe of Linkwood's original, but adds a frisson of excitement via bubbling, Detroit-influenced electronics and hypnotic rhythms.

The Maghreban returns to R&S for a new single following his dark debut album 01DEAS, perhaps with an icier sound.
Monster VIP is a reworking of a double time rap track from The Maghreban's Strange U side project; he added breaks and rolled it out. End level bosses lurk. Beware of the monster. Rave navel-gazing back to his roots: his first ever release was a jungle 12' in 1994. Early support from Ben UFO.On the flip, Batu (Timedance/XL) offers up crisp percussion and ominous sound design in his energetic 140 remix of album opener 'Eddies'.
Then the EP is closes out with 'Carpet Bombing', the title of which references the producer adding more and more notes to the main percussive motif as it builds and builds.

Both of the artists have been making music under different names for a long time now but this release marks the launch of their new monikers: Introducing DJ Chupacabra from the mountainous north of Italy and Crisco from mediterranean Sicily. This is where the Surf & Turf theme of the EP comes into play.
