Freak In Records Label Head Frank Valon (Italo Business, Frequenza) and Treibjagd Records mastermind Fleischer got their acts well together for the timelessly sullen, yet darkly energetic - Sad Song . Thus the title, we feel no reason to disrespect a certain autumn and winter vibe when sadness comes in the form of such beauty!
There's strength in letting go, as many philosophies tell you, and they are right. You can absolutely let go to this one...
Fall deep into the cushions of the warm and well-rounded Original mix, blending the iconic and soothingly soulful vocal with dubby aesthetics and an arrangement that soon makes this track a real song in your memory.
Or float in space, where US deep techno lover Alexi Delano (Drumcode, Plus 8) transcends this track to. With even more glimmering synths and pads he keeps the vibe of the original yet, but adds a lil' extra light to the whole topic!
Italian Producer Dema (Sci-Tec, Trapez) focusses on the classic, low-slung Dub chords for his remix. And lifts you up with a certain extra shuffle on the beat.

Debutant Trujillo, previously worldwide known as Mangelt lands on Lowwaxx.
The main (A) side of the record by Trujillo, is a solid balance of organic textures embraced with synths and modular basses. Elegant waveforms rolled with mystic atmospheres.
The Other Side Of the Record (B) shows up a galaxy settled of raw drums scattered by glitchy percs.
Melted with analog basslines result from the union of two alchemists of the mental dancefloor.

As hard-line as the title threatens, as martial as the artwork displays, as genuine as techno can be - with his latest release on Snork Enterprises, Phil Kieran has created a tremor and once again proves his uncompromising unique sound, for this time somewhere in between iron relentlessness and poisonous composure. In a somewhat extrapolation of "Totally snorked" his
second release on Snork Enterprises "Shred Beef" sharpens his tune up to the peak of intransigently pulsation, with a whiff of "I think I´m a monster". Marching up front with its bass-line, his new tracks pursue a sound that mirrors the mercilessness of true underground techno. Pure. Harsh. Don't give a shit!

Up first this time round though Neg pairs with Spinetti and Tommy All for title-track 'Twenty Euros For Dancing' a smoothly evolving slice of house fuelled by dusty drums, choppy disco licks and an amalgamation of vocal murmurs. Neg joins Pech for 'Back From Hollanda' next, laying focus on jazz tinged bass lines, fluttering wind instruments and loose organic percussion. Opening the flip is 'Hellon Sun' from Neg and Tommy All, retaining a similar musicality and jazz influence via melodious Rhodes and multi-layered synth lines alongide an infectious sub bass and shuffled rhythms. 'I Trust A Stranger' then rounds out the package, courtesy of Neg and Spinetti, taking a more stripped-back approach this time round with rumbling low-end, minute percussion and bright piano sequences.

Born out of an aspiration to run their own independent label, Hamburg's Adana Twins announce the launch of their new label: TAU. Having helped secure their home cities reputation for electronic music, the Adana Twins are now determined to further develop their own distinct wall of sound; seeing the label as a platform to support up-and-coming talent, as well as the particular music that they believe in.
'With TAU we are starting a new journey. It's sort of a quest to develop and shape our own distinct sound and to support up- and-coming talent.' Adana Twins
For the first release, TAU001, the Adana Twins introduce a duo under the name 'Innellea'; believed to be one of the biggest up-and-coming talents in the scene right now. Heavily influenced by percussion sounds, this inaugural EP successfully launches with thematic cohesion and into a realm of what they believe tribal infused techno should really sound like. Recruiting the help of Human Machine to remix lead track 'Nautilus', having already gained significant support from the Adana Twins, who play almost all of their releases in their DJ sets. The rich, contrasting tastes of the Sicilian four-piece shine through, staying true to one simple rule - make people dance.

DJ Dex aka Nomadico has written and produced 10 new unreleased tracks for this double LP 'The Code Switcha'. It features a range of tempos and sonic dynamics; from the slow burns of 'RTD 60' and '909 Soto Street' to the full on energy of 'Machine Learning for Homeboy' and 'HustLA'. There are also electro funk tracks like 'Still Cruisin', 'Radio 3031323' and 'Backyard Trippin'. Meanwhile, the moods and textures of 'Introversion', 'Innermission' and 'Staring Problem' are for deep listening. All of these are fused together by atmospheric pads, touches of acid and a veteran DJ's sense of rhythm and timing.
The Leipzig based Label Ascending Branch is back and it's JiMMi Hendrik who gives us the rush on the floor this time. The EP title Tausendsassa makes it clear and so his new EP comes with 3 strong original tracks from acid to some disco flavoured house music right up to a hot dirty bombshell straight for the club! The main track acerbic sweetness was released on Freude am Tanzen's digital imprint FAT-zig and already gained support from artists like Kerry Chandler, Karotte, Mathias Kaden or Marc Romboy! To round things off, Kleinschmager Audio from Mo's Ferry delivers a deep version of this classic track, which directly get's under your skin! Highly recommended!

Re.You needs no introduction, his sound now being instantly recognizable and over the last years he has worked ,recorded released or remixed artists and labels from Rampa Tiefschwarz David Mayer Terranova Rodriguez Jr &ME on Saved Records Souvenir Mobilee Keinemusik Kompakt Rebirth ...the list goes on.
Re.You's music is produced in a highly individual, organic and prolific style and continues to reach new highs with depth soul and energy NapLater : NapLater is a spellbound groove that is anchored to a hypnotic synth phrase coupled to an ever increasing drum arsenal with bird like rimshot nailing it down in case it rises into orbit and escapes us. This is a body and mind experience with the unexpected still showing its face.
Other Side (Exclusive Vinyl Only) Otherside shows Re.You's capacity to create space, adding a drum ride ,joined by a twisted bass cycle that makes a pulsing groove for him to pepper the landscape with staggered vocal slices and a blend of sonics from antique glass blowers to futuristic chemistry.
Body: If Re.You is to have a trademark sound ,it shows itself in his use of prominent keyboard themes, fired up on 'Body ,backed with a pensive dopey bass synthetic percussion and a strident groove, this is pure dancefloor, stripped back and upfront .This is a shocking release without having to shout about it.

Optimo Trax 30 celebrates a double 30 year anniversary: the original release date of Rejekto' and 30 years since Twitch started dj'ing. In 1987, Twitch, who wasn't known as Twitch yet, picked up a copy of Rejekto' at Glasgow's then numero uno import shop, 23rd Precinct. He was smitten.
Shortly after that he got his first ever dj gig and played Rejekto' in his first ever dj set. Nobody danced to it. He kept playing it and still nobody danced to it. Eventually he gave up playing it, but never stopped loving it.
A few years ago he felt the time was right to try playing it again, and this time, people danced to it. In fact, people loved it and would ask about it and shriek in delight when they heard it. There is often a lot of false nostalgia talked about in dance music and how it was better back in the day'. Well, in some ways it was but in many it wasn't, and 30 years later it feels as if perhaps ears are more open, or perhaps Rejekto' was just ahead of its time
From Germany, written and produced by Ra-Hen and Talla 2XLC, Robotiko Reject's Rejekto' was the inaugural release on the Techno Drome International label. With a powerful and seductive vocal sung in Romanian it has latterly been categorised as EBM/Techno but at the time didn't really fit into any convenient genre. Twitch called it electrobeat.
To celebrate this 30th release on Optimo Trax, the 12' comes in a
special sleeve designed by Katie Shambles and Andrew Beltran. As well as featuring the original classic Perfekto' and U.S. Dub' versions, this reissue features a slo-mo cover version by long-time Twitch friend and ally, the mysterious Frenchbloke who was the only other person he knew back then who also loved this wonderful record. Robotiko!

Sean Miller makes a triumphant return to Seth Troxler's Play It Say It imprint with a new single that has already been getting played by tastemakers like Luciano. In addition to the original, K'Alexi Shelby serves up a fine remix that makes this another vital package.
Canadian producer Miller last released on this label in 2016 with Tiger Spirit, and has also put out essential tunes on labels like Supernature, Ovum and most recently Cadenza. Always making music with integrity and soul, he's been active since 2003 and had plenty of Beatport hits in his time. This new release is sure to be another.
Entitled 'Birds Do It,' the track is seven big and explosive minutes of exuberant drums and tribal percussion. Meandering bird calls burrow deep into your brain and the rawest of hits add drive and edginess to this supersized house tune. All in all, it's destined to blow up even the largest festival crowds this summer.
Remixer K-Alexi is a true Chicago great. He's been at the core of the scene since the eighties and releasing his raw grooves on DJ International, Trax and Transmat, as well as his own K Klassik label. His standout version is a flurry of drums and percussion, smashing hi hats and bobbling kicks. Tight melodies rain down and unrelenting pressure builds in the drums to make sure that crowd will be driven utterly out of control.
This is a brace of brilliantly destructive and forward looking house tunes and another fine marker for both Sean Miller and Play It Say It.

After kicking off in some style, Max D. Blas and Alex Piccini's Monologue label follows up with a second sizzling release, this time from YAYA & Lorenzo Chiabotti. The first Monologue release received great feedback from the likes of Villalobos, Raresh and Matthew Dear amongst others, and YAYA and Chibotti, fire out three original cuts here, that also come with a remix from Robert Dietz that ensures this is another massive package.
This pair have teamed up to great effect before now and have picked up praise from the likes of THUMP for their efforts. They have released on essential labels like Desolat and are a fresh sound that always makes its mark.
First up here is 'The Fraud', a dubby house roller with curious synth sounds popping up and raining down the face of the tune. It makes for a colourful cut that will amp up any dance floor. Next up is Raiden, another deep but driving jam with wonky bass, icy hi hat ringlets and steamy female vocals adding fuel to the fire and ensuring crowds will go wild when they hear it. The final original is NoveNove, a bumpy number that shows off this pair's fantastic ability to programme infectious drums as well as layer in cosmic, soul infused synths.
Long time innovator and Desolat and Cadenza artist Robert Dietz then remixes 'The Fraud' into a rubbery, acid laced and tunnelling techno cut that is physical and forceful, and filled with a subtle tension that never lets up.
This is another slick EP from a young label that is already making itself essential listening.

Unscene Record's debut 12-inch release, 'Theme of Roman EP', features three modernistic tracks from Grecian artists
Kostas Georgoudis and Alex Dimou (in a B-side collaboration). A1-Theme Of Roman (Original Mix) initiates the quest by
creating minimalistic soundscapes of a cinematic nature, translating to listeners as a prismatic chemistry of iridescent
textures, dub, and pitch-shifted voices. A2-Palouse (Original Mix), provides a discourse between vintage aesthetics and
futuristic dynamism, rendering a more abstract and atmospheric composition. On the flip side, track B1-Mozy (Original Mix)
demonstrates a steady rhythmic bass construction complimented by high-hat variations, while giving rise to a primordial
sense of movement and full bodied grooves.
Wholly, 'Theme of Roman EP' delivers a cohesive collection of original mixes, all of which stem from various parts of the
deep house/ tech house/ minimal techno spectrum.

After offering-up Paratrooper as part of DJ Tennis' recent DJ Kicks, the Israeli duo Red Axes arrive on Life and Death for an original EP. Sami is a post-Moondog Shamanic tribal trip, while Round combines dilapidated Post-Goa electronics with just the right amount of cowbells and guitars psych. Vego is a lo-if western spaghetti full of Tape delays and amplifiers sauce , while Pulse waves and wind blows on a big Russian bell at the title track Kalacol. A record that could only come from Niv and Dori - another reconfiguration of the Life and Death mausoleum.

We are pleased to present you the second EP of the infernal duo INTERNACIONAL ELECTRICAL RHYTHMS formed of Trikk and Mathias Schober. Let's dive right in and start with "Azaka" and it's live recorded percussions. This track just builds and builds until it falls back into that irresistible and sexy main groove. It reminds a bit of old DJ Gregory tracks - just 10 BPM less. Some would even say it is epic, we wouldn't argue though. Anyways, it serves the dance floor well and proved it many times in the past.
The second track "Kosanba" keeps the EP in balance. "Kosanba" sounds more like a Sci-Fi movie soundtrack at first listen. A basic rhythm built around a modular sequence, upright piano, washed out guitars and an eerie spacey melody with tons of reverb form a track that still works in a club context, yet it's definitely one of those tracks for the right moments as it sets a different tone for sure. Bruno and Mathias sure continue what they've started so well last year with their INTERNACIONAL ELECTRICAL RHYTHMS disguise.
Vinyl Only, Handstamped.

After previously helming the second NorthSouth release alongside Bilal, Berlin-based minimal house maverick Christian Jay returns to the burgeoning label with more of his distinctive grooves that draw as much on bass-heavy garage and dubstep as they do on stripped back 4/4. The tempo is ramped up on "Reform," which features a plethora of wriggling sound design flourishes to accentuate the subtle swing on the track, while "Deactivating HAL" places the same sound palette in a more crafty 2-step framework that ranks among the most distinctive tracks Jay has produced to date. On the flipside. Rob Amboule follows up strong turns on 20:20 Vision, Nixwax and OSMAN with his own deep-diving dancefloor constructions. There's an irresistible insistence to the drums on B1 cut "Something For Thomas," while "Swedgin On The Corner" switches stance for a dreamy yet uptempo trip loaded with misty-eyed pads and other such cosmic delights.

The 75th EP on Moon Harbour is one that connects the past with the present: the release is
made up of three remixes and re-edits of classic tracks by label boss Matthias Tanzmann.
Charged with serving up these goods are one third of Apollonia, namely Frenchman Shonky,
Saved Records boss Nic Fanciulli and his brother Mark and, finally, Matthias himself updates
one of his own cuts.
That cut is 2008's 'Keep On', taken from Matthias' artist album Restless. The newer version is a
tweak and tidy job that subtly injects a little more roll and slide into the original's shuffling drums.
The drunken synth sounds and infectious, never ending groove remain, but everything shines
that bit brighter: dance floors will no doubt be delighted to hear this one dusted off and dropped
once again.
The next track under the spotlight is 2011's 'Puddle Trouble' by Matthias in collaboration with
label regular Dan Drastic. English brothers and influential figures in the tech house scene, Mark
and Nic Fanciulli are the ones who remix this and do so with a keen sense of rhythm. Their
version hurries along in elongated rhythmic fashion with lots of wobbly synths, subtle drops and
distant sirens all adding to the hypnotic and increasingly intense sense of groove. It fits in
perfectly with the Moon Harbour canon and is a timely update.
Lastly, Frenchman Shonky, who is a DC10 regular with his comrades in Apollonia and has just
released his debut LP with the same outfit, edits Tanzmann & Stefanik's 'Basic Needs' from
2006. This one is a little more electro inclined with its restless bassline, slapping percussion and
jumbled drums. Prickly and kinetic but with a bulbous bassline holding it all together, this one is
perfect for those late night freak outs.
Proving that Moon Harbour have evolved on their own terms whilst always staying true to their
roots, this EP is yet another modern tech house masterclass.

Since then, they have joined forces on this magnificent release that includes two new original collaborations and two remixes by a couple of their favorite artists, Alan Castro and Coriesu. 'Good things come to those who wait'... Especially to those who wait for the next original Dennis Ferrer release on his imprint, Objektivity. 'Maniac 3000' is the second anthemic single from Ferrer's much anticipated upcoming album on Defected, 'Paranoia Aftermath', to drop early 2017. Tapping into his techno-roots for this one, Ferrer has managed to create an unlikely union between the groovy techno drums and the suspense of arpeggiated synth line. In Ferrer's own words the track was 'an attempt to go backwards, to move forward'.

Detroit techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson has revived his underground house moniker E-Dancer with 'Into the Future,' a rolling futuristic nod to the sound of Detroit Techno. Swirling retro-future synths, echoed out claps and solid bass line that just screams Detroit. The track's gritty yet groovy sentiment is a perfect continuation of the very first E-Dancer album Heavenly, released in 1998.
Before i started my festival season this year, i went to the studio in
Berlin and recorded some tracks for my sets. These two tracks i´ve been playing again and again, so they became the soundtrack of my summer. They are as hypnotic and freaky as my DJ sets are. I used some of my favorite instruments, the 303, the 909 and the Minimoog to create two tracks full of murky, distorted vocals, strange breaks and pure drastic emotion in beat form. This record is my definition of the Allien sound. One of my recent projects is Vinylism, where i play vinyl sets in some of my favorite record stores all around the world. I started with Lucky Records Island, then Discos Paradiso in Barcelona and will continue at Ultrasuoni Rome,Smallville Paris and Phonica London. Also my radio show Braincandy, is back on Ibiza Sonica, as a one hour mix every Monday from 7 - 8pm. And I´m touring with my "We Are Not Alone" events, where i invite my favorite artists to play with me. Next Station is the ADE week in Amsterdam and Magda, Cassy and Johanna Schneider will join me. In Berlin, my favorite place is IPSE at the moment. We had a few amazing BPitch partys there this year, good times in the little warehouse and the beautiful garden on the riverside... Fjaak's path led them from the periphery to the centre and from there further through the world. Their self titled debut album for Monkeytown is as much of a summary of what had happened in the previous three years as it is an artistic statement. "FJAAK" combines the energetic peak-time sound of the Berlin-based trio's acclaimed Techno singles like 'Unten / Oben' with sophisticated breakbeat arrangements and atmospherically dense Ambient textures. These eleven tracks are the provisional highlight in a unique success story which started aside club culture's conventions and to this day refuses to compromise.
Felix Wagner, Aaron Röbig and Kevin Kozicki were still teenagers when they developed a distinct sound which positioned itself outside beaten paths, both geographically and musically speaking. The trio cut their teeth in Berlin-Spandau's open-air scene and celebrated their frst success in the city's center shortly thereafter before taking the Techno world by storm with their elaborate analogue sound. Having released a few records, they found a permanent home on Modeselektor's Monkeytown in 2014 while incessantly traveling the world.

Building on his well-established bass-laced bedrock, each of these cuts flex with dynamics that will find favour with all house and techno connoisseurs and do so with complete consistency as a whole body of work... hell, they work so well dirtybird bossman VonStroke is almost reluctant to release them.
"I'm almost sad to start sharing the new Kill Frenzy album with everyone else because it has been my secret weapon all summer. At one point I was playing seven tracks from the album in the same set, it was almost embarrassing. I'm very fickle about choosing what I play and this album is amazing."
Proof of Kill Frenzy's next-levelism is evident in every single direction; the cavernous thundering march of "All Night Long,' the bouncy techno fluctuations of 'Inflation,' the sultry deep house dish 'XXX,' the sheer tech tenacity and roof-burning electro-fication of 'Lava,' the delicate jazz keys and purring sub bass of 'So Fine'... The list goes on.
Press play, then press it again for good measure: debut albums often dangerously dice with displays of inconsistent dexterity, but with Taylr Swft Kill Frenzy has carefully created a collection that completely makes sense of his past work while staring guilefully into an exciting future. A bona fide dirtybird document that confirms Kill Frenzy's position as one of electronic music's boldest creators, Taylr Swft is everything you could possibly want from a modern day album: dancefloor gold, depth, range and an unswerving narrative. Get to know.

Debut album Nothing Is Still on black heavyweight vinyl.Plus accompanying Novella co-written by Leon Vynehall and 60 x 40 poster housed in a hard back box.
Includes download code.
Following on from 2 critically acclaimed double EPs in Music For The Uninvited & Rojus, Leon presents his first album proper, expanding on his already well crafted sound to offer an exciting and immersive sonic journey. The album follows a multi layered and ambitious narrative inspired by Leon's grandparents emigration to New York, where they spent nearly a decade living throughout the 1960's.
The story is presented over four different mediums, Literature, Music, Film, and Photography, culminating with a live experience bringing each element together to form a modular and multi-faceted campaign.
As mentioned above, this is a multi-faceted campaign & accompanying the LP will be a Novella written by Leon & his friend. Inspired by the mood and feeling of each chapter of the Novella, Leon has composed music conveying the mood, emotion and flow of the writing which form sonic representations of the narrative. As a scene is set in the literature, or the mood and pace of a chapter changes, so does the music, so every shift in dynamics cleverly complements the writing.
In addition to writing, composing, playing and producing this album, Leon conducted a 10 piece string section headed by arranger and composer Amy Langley. Vynehall also called upon saxophonist and flautist Finn Peters, and jazz pianist Sam Beste to provide additional playing, all mixed with Blue May at the legendary Konk Studio.
The result is an album which displays Vynehall's growth and maturity as a musician and sees him release his first proper debut LP as a fully fledged artist.

Following their previous Mantra EP, Polybius Trax present here another three track EP from Mantra showcasing a variety of acid styles. Opening track, Blackout, is a solid, no-nonsense acid techno workout, perfect for a strobe filled warehouse, and features builds and drops layered with ethereal tones. Emanation is a maelstrom of moving synth sounds, bouncing delay lines and vocal-like klaxons that combine to disorientate the listener. Final track, Mirage is a classic bad attitude acid track with an unnerving acid line that weaves in and out of aggressive percussive lines.

"Shatterdome", cut deep across the whole first side of this record, is a no-prisoners-taken club workout that comes of surprisingly lightheaded with a pushing low-end and dusky athmo-stabs. "Lola T70" is a late night car chase on cyber-highway, reminiscing THX-1138 leaving everything behind in the classic George Lucas sci-fi film: A state of floating acceleration and melancholy. "Say Hi to everyone" is signature.
repressed!
It's winter in Detroit and Fit Siegel has given us "Carmine", a moody techno classic perfect for the lonely season. Subtle, low-key and thumping, the title track revolves around a bittersweet piano lead, elegiac 303 and Blade Runner string swells. It's a high-tech driving song in the tradition of Model 500's low-key classic "Pick Up The Flow" and FIT sounds more assured than ever. "First Found" is Mills-ian jigsaw puzzle techno imbued with breathy and addictive humanity. Stacatto, free-jazz informed piano solos lock into ping-pong synths -- eventually, a female vocal emerges over a bed of arpeggiated bass. Loose yet robotic, "First Found" is first-rate Detroit techno mysticism. The record as a whole is a worthy entry into the Motor City's storied canon from a leader of the new school.

As Mosaic reaches release number 40, Steve O'Sullivan dives into another studio collaboration with his new label mate and expert hand, Mike Schommer - bringing in the talents of Rod Modell on remix duties. Etching two slices of dub heavy grooves that cover either side of the techno and house spectrum, their first effort emphasises the former on title track "Submerged" (B1). It doesn't pull any punches - precision moulded bass takes centre stage around evolving synths and classic delay action.
Their 2nd "Depth Charge Dub" (B2) leans more towards the latter as the duo focus on the combination of a rolling sub, laidback percussion and subtle stabs that cycle gently around.
The cherry on top comes in the form of Rod Modell's "DeepChord's Negative-Space Exploration Version" as he takes a 9 min trip to the hinterland of his sonic imagination, elegantly finding new layers and spatial effects. Call it what you will, 'dubbed out house with a splash of techno' or 'dubbed out techno with a splash of house' - this is heavyweight material.

Definition presents his own creations once again to Definition:music in the form of the stunning 6 track - Progession LP . Living up to his reputation, the tracks are as engaging as they are addictive and always pushing the envelopes.
Opening the show on a warm note, Come Down feat Liu Bei delicately teases us as it blooms into a massive blend of smooth synths and titillating percussion. Midway through weíre treated to an elegantly coordinated break-beat, adding a special touch and unfolding a new dimension to the track.
The title track is up now. Definition projects an electric landscape in which we ride through the night on a steel horse made of pure
electricity toward the peak-time rush and unearth ëProgressioní. A solid track throughout, from the first deliberate kick, to the delicate break and beyond.
Janus brings thick and gritty bass stabs to a driving tech house
groove, creating a blend of deep, dark realms with a hot and steamy pressure. Easing into warmer waters,
2Caught Out is vocally supported or rather enriched through the voice of Peter Joseph. A smooth and cuddly but packing groove that pushes straight into your brain never to release you after listening to it for the first time. This track produces happiness, peace and a good dose of bliss my friends!
Without Any Doubt slowly rises from nothing and transforms itself into a beast of beautiful orchestra of chords and harps.
Finally, one last vocal track to bring closure to the LP. This Mystery feat. Jinadu is a power ballad that delivers on all fronts and spreads a warm glow with a solid groove.

Joe Lewandowski is another treasure discovered by the rising label Deep & Roll. The A side reminds us some 90's house diamonds: 'Where is' contains mesmerizing gospel vocals calling for love. 'Powa' has a more groovy vibe with patterns that bring us back to Chicago.
The B side opens with 'I Need To', a track recorded with Jazz singer Lili B. It shows a more melancholic and deep side of the Parisian DJ. The last track 'Lourd' explores the other influences of Joe Lewandowski with an Italo-Disco and leftfield techno feeling.
Following a slew of acclaimed remixes for the likes of Andhim, Sailor & I, DJ Dozia and Sebastian Mullaert and a one-off single with Joran van Pol, Voorn returns with a pair of stunning new tracks for his GREEN imprint. With this release I'm making a bridge between last year and this. Looks Fake Obviously is a dark haunting track with a sweet melody that slowly drags you into the light. Dawn (Green Mix) brings new life to a sound that I was once so familiar with, Detroit techno. Although this mix is more house than techno, it features characteristic melodies of the 90's Detroit sound that I loved when I started to make music around the year 2000. This is only the first of a few Detroit inspired tracks that will surface this year. For me it's like things went full circle, coming back to a sound where chord stabs, pads and warm bass are very present.' - Joris Voorn, Selected feedback: Davide Squillace - LFO rocks, Joris always on the point. Monika Kruse - 2 wonderful new tracks Joris! Tiefschwarz - 2 really beautiful tracks here. Thank you for sending. Lee Burridge - A fun release Joris!
Gregor Tresher - Great new music by Joris. I really like LFO - it ´s so cool when the Kick comes back in after the buildups in the breaks. Great release Joris! Hernan Cattaneo - Very good from Joris again. Both tracks. Stephan Bodzin - Original. Just brilliant! Thank you Joris, full support from my side .Christian Smith - Now these are very nice. Full support for Joris! Nick Warren - Superb stuff from Joris, both are ace! Noir - Looks Fake Obviously is a DOPE track! Gerd - Nice deep tunes from Joris. Well done!
ANNA - Amazing as always from Joris. Huxley - Both of these are sick. Dawn has classic written all over it!!! Karotte - Dawn is a bomb. Love it, but Looks Fake is also cool. Super. thanks.
Guy J - Great new tracks from Joris!! Thank you for sending.
Dosem - Both tracks are very good!
Technasia - Looks Fake Obviously is the star for me. Nice one!
Gabriel Ananda - Really nice one :-)..Perfect music for my sets and Soulful Techno. Thank you!
Sharam - Quality stuff! Good track to inject some soulful melody into the floor. This to me is straight up classic house come full circle more than Detroit Techno. Reminds me of Dancin' by Erick 'More' Morrillo (Little More Dub).
Kölsch - Shut up and take my money!!
Kiki - I can truly see the dawn and the sun rise, while listening to it...

VIDAB keeps on its quest of finding and releasing new and raw music. The 16th vinyl release of the Berlin based label, comes from Milan's 'Privat' residents Hiver with their debut production titled 'A Day' EP. Hiver's musical spectrum contains dark and distant elements, ranging from the darkest rhythms of dub-techno to melodic capturing lines. This can be evident in the two tracks on this single 'A Day' and 'Reduced' which convey their club experiences of moving a dancefloor in one solid package.
BPitch Control loves such strong and independent characters like Jesse Perez. The American label boss of Mr. Nice Guy Records embodies the modern old-school by blending Booty House with Miami Bass into this lascivious sound he calls Bump-N-Grind. After his - THOT EP' from 2015, we're happy the - dirty mastermind' is back with another EP on BPitch Control. And - Cell Phones' proves once again why Jesse Perez represents the real street sound of Miami. Its title track starts with his hip-hop drive of massive bass and even richer percussion, although - Cell Phones' isn't meant as a tribute to the technical progress rather than spreading a hedonistic message. Using the words of West Coast icon Egyptian Lover, they're recalling that mobile phones don't belong on the dance floor - all that matters is the very moment, the here and now. - Double Is Good, Triple Is Better" continues to unfold this back-to-the-roots feeling when Perez samples the old funk track - Double Dutch Bus', which established the izz slang and radiates the old day's block party vibe. - Twerk Machine' and - The One Two Checka' on the B-side get to the heart of his multifaceted talents: Jesse Perez established a bootylicious house sound that integrates breakbeats and interspersed vocal samples as well as electro-infected tunes and his unique style of vintage dance floor soul. True Underground Spirit!

Multitalented musicians Johannes Brecht and Christian Prommer have collaborated on a release with a difference for respected Hamburg label Diynamic. 'Voix Grave' consists of an atmospheric classical composition from the pair, with an electronic version from each producer. The original composition features echoing drums, plucked violins and an emotive cello. Whilst it may surprise those who associate Diynamic with its more dancefloor-ready releases, the classical inclusion is a testimony to the label's forward-thinking approach.Berlin-based Christian Prommer has a long history of fusing his jazz and classical roots with his love of techno and electronica, with a career spanning over two decades and taking in boundary-pushing projects like Drumlesson. As a producer, he's previously released on the likes of !K7, Life and Death, Sonar Kollektiv and Buzzing Fly. Here, he makes his Diynamic debut with a version that perfectly fits within the label's sound; a fast-paced beat underpins the plucked strings of the original, utilised like synths. Featuring the original's mournful violin in the breakdown, the track builds to a dramatic peak. Meanwhile, Diynamic member Johannes Brecht, and his version has already proved to be a standout moment in label boss Solomun's recent sets. Running at a full 10 minutes in length, Brecht utilises this time to build up to waves of climactic moments whilst peeling back layers to reveal the original composition's melodies.
Voix Grave' as a package is an innovative project, with both versions accentuating the qualities of the original whilst providing genuinely club-appropriate takes on the record. It's further evidence of Diynamic's commitment to their creative vision, even as the label continues to expand to global proportions.

A new era is when a significant event or a discovery or
invention changes the past life and the circumstances of many
or even all people sustainably. It basically involves a positive or
neutral evaluation of this age.
- Thus, the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus in
1492 heralded a new era, the conquest and colonization of
America by Europeans.
- Similarly, the first public steam railway built by George
Stephenson in 1825, marked the beginning of a new era
of mobility.
- Also the theses of Martin Luther at Wittenberg initiated the
era of the Reformation.
- Not to forget the fall of the Iron Curtain, the Berlin Wall in
1989 and the resulting german reunification, thus initiating a
new era of world history

LOYOTO are the East-Berlin born Eva Be and Cle from the western part of the formerly dived city. Both started their DJ and producer career almost at the same time in the heart of the then developing scene, the very center of Berlin, just after the wall came down. Originally rooted in very different styles of music, they encountered for the first time DJing together in 2011, finding common ground in more than just music - a gig, that should lead to more: They decided to combine their talents and knowledge and build a studio together. Here, and during legendary back2back DJ sets, they finally united their different musical backgrounds - dub/reggae and underground house music - and defined their very own sound.
