LOYOTO are the East-Berlin born Eva Be and Cle from the western part of the formerly dived city. Both started their DJ and producer career almost at the same time in the heart of the then developing scene, the very center of Berlin, just after the wall came down. Originally rooted in very different styles of music, they encountered for the first time DJing together in 2011, finding common ground in more than just music - a gig, that should lead to more: They decided to combine their talents and knowledge and build a studio together. Here, and during legendary back2back DJ sets, they finally united their different musical backgrounds - dub/reggae and underground house music - and defined their very own sound.

The fourth reference of Onward Recordings comes with 2 great artist, first Martin Prestige from Hungary who created two amazing tracks for the A side.

The B side of this reference it´s for the Milano duo Infinite Layers of Reality, Lusbek & Bhonz who collaborate with two lovely tracks.

Having set the tone and incredible pace over the past 12 months with two critically acclaimed EPs 'Dreary Town' and 'Aching Bones', Love Your Dum and Mad not only continues to mark Nadine as an emerging talent but offers a complete, beautifully formed artistic statement. Of Norwegian and Pakistani ancestry and hailing from the north east town of Whitburn, this young London based artist's compositions lean towards the dramatic, with all 11 tracks finding themselves imbued with an understated unease, a deep personal connection to their author and a real triumphant streak beneath the darker hued material.
Musically, she is reminiscent of early Bad Seeds material and the bruised honesty of a sheen-less Broken English by Marianne Faithful. Vocally, Nadine counts her inspirations as Nina Simone and Maria Callas by way of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, while lyrically her classic tales of love and loss find their roots in personal experiences, filtered through abstracts of William Hogarth, and Frida Kahlo. Nadine has taken these influences and has created a work which blends her rich and husky classic jazz streak with fantastical, organic instrumentation and the twisted industrial sounds of modern life.

Raw Hedroom is the musical alias of Gareth Williams. Having immersed himself in electronic music and culture for more than ten years, Gareth has worn several hats in the electronic music industry.

For the eighth release on Roberto's Fossil Archive imprint, a very special collaboration which was produced by Roberto and the late Trevino (aka Marcus Intalex) shortly before his tragic passing in 2017 is poised. The release features three original cuts, along with a previously unreleased remix Roberto put together of 'Black Cat' which featured on Trevino's album 'Front'.
The music speaks for itself. However, to honour Marcus, a short poem has been put together by one of his closest friend's.
'Music is the great tree that stands alone, every second twisting and turning, straining and stretching, as each leaf and branch fights for the closest spot to the sun. The artists are the leaves and to the untrained eye, so plentiful and all look the same. While delicate and vulnerable to the changing of seasons, or taste.

Sounding the promise of long days ahead and late nights to follow with its opening salvos,

Chloé's The Dawn heralds the return of the Paris-based DJ and producer, and a new dawn in her ever-evolving career. Indeed, The Dawn is her inaugural release on her own label Lumière Noire, which she recently set up as a separate entity - after using the name for a collection of releases over the last few months, and of course for her infamous Rex Club night, which has since 2014 become a bit of a club house for Parisian electronic music fans. Operating Lumière Noire as a fully-fledged label will enable Chloé to release a new full-length album (of which The Dawn is the lead single) sometime in the next few months.

Over the ten-plus minutes of The Dawn, a spoken-word track languishes over melodic washes in a dramatic progression that evokes a novel, or noir-ish cinema - a method that the producer has taken a shine to since 'Take Care'.

This cultivation of the strange and the beautiful has become her calling card, putting her in a league with likeminded producers, who take the basic tenets of techno and inject them with their own singular poetic visions. A visual-arts analogue could be found in Noémie Goudal's photographs which grace the EP's cover as they will Chloé's upcoming releases.

New Release Information This stirring aesthetic gives The Dawn a slightly cerebral dimension, which is taken to new depths by Dixon's stubbornly technoid remix. The Berlin-based whiz kid, who has over the last few years risen to the top of the international electronic music scene, inverts Chloé's light-drenched, full-bodied production into a tense, captivating chiaroscuro.

The Dawn can also be explored via the 'CHLOÉ X IRCAM V2: The Dawn Interactive Mix' installation, which embodies Chloé's music as an intimate interactive experience. It is one of the first offshoots of a constantly mutating collaboration between Chloé and the IRCAM

Drum Techniek is like taking a LCD drumbeat mixed in a blender with some vitalising capacitor hallucinogens. If the undeniable groove of the first one and a half minute isn't enough, a jaw shattering bass line creates even more bad ass vigour. Geheugen Meuk's unstoppable energy train is fuelled by a hypnotising stomping bass line that is intersected by warbled dystopian chords. Lost in the transistor mind, the memory chip slowly starts emitting smoke and shape shifts beyond the point of recognition. Leaving the gates open for uncontrollable off script imagination to reign.

Sloppenwijkkont takes the same approach as Geheugen Meuk but adds a more defined West Coast flavour. Baslijn In Opstand does exactly what it says on the can, like the electronic music interface decided to stop obeying and took over the controls to produce the music it favours. All this music is not for the faint hearted but will prove an incredible addition to anyones dance floor arsenal for those moments which need some extra psycholetric firepower.

Hailing from Michigan now based in Seattle, producer Taylor Hawkins offers 4 tracks for his debut on Vanity Press Records. Though a new name to most, he's no stranger to the game, with releases under the alias Community Corporation on the Crisis Urbana and Argot labels. In shifting to the Flora FM moniker, Hawkins explores aquatic themes and space funk while retaining an undeniable Midwest bounce.

For its next release, No.19 Music welcomes one of dance music's most celebrated contemporary artists in Ryan Crosson for a new single coming on vinyl and digital.

Crosson is a true techno tastemaker who hails from Detroit. He's released on long established labels like Minus, as well as going on to form Visionquest with Seth Troxler, Shaun Reeves and Lee Curtis, and the label of the same name where he also put out key EPs and LPs with Merveille. From headline sets at festivals round the world via club gigs at the most tasteful venues in the scene, he is a real giant of underground dance music with studio skills to match, as this standout three tracker proves.

Superb opener 'Comet Pills' is a deep and thoughtful track that encourages your mind to wander off into the cosmos. Slick drums and melancholic chords set the tone, while the bass fleshes things out and sci-fi details bring out a cinematic quality.

The brilliantly mysterious 'Roscoe' is expertly stripped back and reduced house music that takes you on a trip. It's quick and smooth, with watery sound design, soft hits and muffled vocals adding intrigue to a track that is both cerebral yet designed to make you move.

Last of all, 'Snake Oil' is another fully realised offering which journeys to the edges of the galaxy, with long lingering ambient pads suspending you in mid-air as squelchy synths and shuffling drums keep one foot on the dance floor.
These are three terrific cuts of seriously atmospheric house and techno.

Cologne's electronic music community keeps on giving, drawing on a dense plethora of fresh talent ready to shake up our little big grassroots industry. The latest ace up the city's sleeve must be Tim Engelhardt, part of a new breed of incredibly versatile young producers that get their cues from all sorts of genres and listening situations, combining profound musical knowledge with intuitive playfulness and multiple perspectives on sound. In Tim's case, we're dealing with a solid pianist background - which becomes rather obvious in the great care he takes over harmonies and an expanded melodic structure. However, that's just one side of the story, as the organic fluidity and atmospheric dexterity of his music most certainly hark back to an upbringing among the rolling hills and sprawling forests of Germany's Westerwald - one of the country's best known mountain ranges that has already inspired artists such as Dominik Eulberg or Gabriel Ananda. Having released your first recordings at the tender age of 14 - as Tim did in 2012 - might put you in a 'wunderkind' category - a flattering, but ultimately risky proposition, finding many a prodigy overwhelmed with the dubious honour. Not so much our hero, who chose to put his skills to work: in only four years, he grew his portfolio with plenty outings on labels such as Traum Schallplatten, WIR, Babiczstyle, Amuse Gueule, Ostwind Records, Popart Music, Playmusic Productions, Parquet Recordings, Manual Music and more - but his breakthrough release was hands-down the 2015 EP 'Everything Is All You Have' on Steve Bug's iconic Poker Flat imprint, followed by 'Enigmatism' on the same label.

Thoma Bulwer returns with 'Jandaze'; his latest EP via Parasol Culture featuring long-time partner in crime Anna Wall. It follows Parasol 001 their first joint vinyl release, that sold out on the shelves gaining support from the likes of Mood II Swing and Cab Drivers plus on the airwaves via NTS. Their 'Jandaze' EP has already been doing the rounds on the DJ circuit in Hackney Wick and beyond. 'Patience' was the result of a late night jam session with sync boxes, groove benders and the classic TR-909. After much fine-tuning, it's been tried and tested by Cinthie on her recent Australia tour and is set to be a staple club cut for this summer. Although 'Insouciant' means a casual lack of concert, a lot of work went into making this one. It's the most laid-back of the bunch, with Smallville-esque Juno 106 melodies perfect for the afterparty or warm up session. This goes out to the post-NYD loft party crew in The Wick where it was played for the first time. Try pronouncing this one at 7am in the morning...
'Fridge Speed' is a minimal house cut influenced by Thoma's garage roots. Think rudely placed analogue synth stab melodies, 'tuff' skippy drums and big subs ideal for early hours and 'it's a London thing' house sets. 'Egress' was made with long jam takes from Thoma's modular system. Deep, dubby beats, evolving synths and textures make up this track that's been road-tested on the world famous Fabric Room 1 sound system by Voigtmann in his extended set before Ricardo Villalobos. Current support comes from Maya Jane Coles, Archie Hamilton Franck, Roger, Cinthie, Voigtmann, John Dimas.

For the first release Ltd, W/Lbl is getting together 4 previously released tracks on various formats for a real epic journey through deep, moody and jazzy landscapes.

What a wonderful outlier on Holland's 030303 label, this one! Lush breaks, with hints of UK hardcore and classic bleep house inhabit this wonderful EP. The EP kicks of with the track 'Animal Samba' is more housey with memories of 808 State, UR and Reese springing to mind. A2 is called 'Junglitter' and with a tempo so low, the track is perfect for slow raving; this is Goldie abusing the hand break...Breaks are at its heaviest on the first track of the flipside: 'Musiphon' keeps rolling on a brilliant formula of a dominant bass line rolling at mid tempo while an LFO-esque melodie fights for a second position. The last one 'Vedelius' -like the artist- a four/four track accompanied with breaks with the quirky melody in the bass and nightmarish screams taking over. This is possibly the track most suitable for the dance floor, not a cozy one though...These are the best hardcore breaks since, Zomby's "Where were you in '92", get them while they're shit hot!

Sobriquet 006 comes from Bauch who delivers a three tracker signifying his sound which has him notable around Playful Science. Denis Kaznacheev remixes Cuhab for a finishing touch.

In the autumn of 2009, a chance encounter at an underground party in the city of Leiden (NL) offered us a very first glimpse of the astonishing and talented DJ that is Mark Du Mosch.
On numerous occasions ever since, Mark surprised us with his adventurous trackselection, his raw and energetic mixing technique and the way he constantly pushes himself to cross the borders of genres while always maintaining his trademark style. It's fair to say that no other DJ has left such an overwhelming impression on us as Mark did.

Whether or not Du Mosch is as good a producer as he is a DJ is for you to decide. But on this forthcoming double pack he sure demonstrates the same diversity and liveliness as he does in his DJ-sets!

It's common knowledge by now that the name Stephan Hinz is synonymous with cutting-edge, big room anthems and his latest output, the 'Juncture EP' continues to attest to the consistency of his prowess. Hinz' kicks off with the self-titled 'Juncture' as massive low end, crisp hats and burly percussion lay the ground work for a delicate and hypnotizing lead forging an impeccable balance between two opposing themes. Changing themes but sticking to his trademark approach 'Panopticon' lets the drums do the work. What can almost be considered a tool stands alone as heaving bursts of sonic gold explode through the percussive barrage creating an incredibly versatile tune suited for any occasion. Hinz wraps things up with the beautiful and impassioned 'Illusion' where simple but highly effective drum programming carries flawlessly restrained harmonies resulting in a lavish trek into the emotionally charged club moments.

Chewy Motto is a brand new label via R&S Records launching this summer. The imprint has evolved from the nocturnal lifestyles of their London based crew over the last 12 months. Audio will be coming from multiple genres, genders and geographical locations from within the underworld of the electronic scene. Run by Chewy + Motto; the trips, the highs and the lows will be represented across the catalogue with a helping handful of spirulina magic from their good pal and visual artist Gasius.
First out of the gate, Chewy Motto presents the debut EP from Quays. The Swoo EP is the first toe in the water of official releases from the London based, NYC-hailing, artist, following several regarded singles in underground electronic circles and the ethereal 9174106948 mixtape for Dis Magazine.

After more than 3 years as a prolific underground promoter in southern Sweden, Spazio Social Club now branches out into Spazio Records. Focusing on the grainier strains of house and techno without limiting themselves to any genre, the label is dedicated to putting out both local Swedish talents and international producers on limited runs of vinyls. The first release, Bubbla EP, features three winding house tracks by debutant Sumorai.

Rephlex producer EOD drops a mind-bending fifteen track debut album on Bjarki's bbbbbb this June.

Born in Trondheim, Norway, Stian Gjevik is a rarity amongst electronic music producers. Possibly the most interesting musician representing the braindance and IDM sounds of today, EOD's productions have landed on labels like We´Me` Records, sleepers, cpu, 030303 and Aphex Twin's highly respected Rephlex. Dropping on bbbbbb last year, his 'Swurlk EP' sold out within a month and received support from Aphex Twin, Bicep, Bjarki, Nina Kraviz and many more.

Since the inception of Cyberfunk one artist in particular has really taken on the core values and ethos of the label and has been working extensively with us.

After his debut release on Cyberfunk "Cold Steppin" gained heavy rotation on the dnb circuit from some of the scenes heavyweights. We gave Bournemouth based duo Ulterior Motive a chance to remix "Cold Steppin" and released it as part of our first ever Remix EP - Remixed Vol1. This dominated the charts for several weeks in a row.

Other than the aforementioned, the West London based producer has kept mostly quite bar one release - "Gorilla" which was part of the first in a series of various artist LP's from us: VA:LP-001

This EP has been in the works for quite some time, with some parts taking in excess of 3 years! (Yes we know but he's worth the wait we promise) this is a project we have been working on closely with Freddie and although he has kept us waiting we are happy to be releasing such a diverse and unique EP from an equally diverse and unique beard, sorry... - artist! Excuse me. (You'll see what I mean...)

We feel this is the truest and purest representation of Simple Technique as an artist. With a strong mix of tempos and styles all of which have been filtered through his unique outlook on music and rave culture. From bass house to Drum and bass to hiphop and trap influences with beautiful soundscapes in-between. This EP has flavours from all over and the raw signature sound that our fans have come to expect from a Simple Technique set.

A double combo debuting at Sanfuentes Records: Argentina's dance floor legends Djs Pareja together with Cologne's most recent jackmaster Bryan Kessler, presenting:

Both parties coming in hot from their last releases at Cómeme and Numbers, decided to join forces and do an Ep together, specially made for Sanfuentes Records.

And wow, did they deliver :D

'Detona' (to detonate) opens the Ep in a relentless way, with a rhythm that swallows everything around, pushing and pushing and then pushing some more.

'Shu Shu' is where things get dirty and hi-hats are unleashed like flying knives over our heads.

Also take a listen to the flip side, where we bring in our household rhythm smith Mijo to remix 'Shu Shu' in his inimitable style.

And then, the cherry on top: 'Ramp and Rage'. Just release this train of a track in front of a 4am audience with a proper sound system -maybe throw a little strobe light in the mix- and let it do it's thing. Dog barking samples included.

San Francisco DJ and producer Charles Duff aka Matrixxman unveils his new label 'The Grid' with a special double 12' - 'The Grid 001' presented in a deluxe gatefold sleeve. Matrixxman is one of the most acclaimed and prolific modern Techno producers, opening new avenues in the current scene with his material regularly supported and played by Rødhåd, Jeff Mills, Ben Klock, Richie Hawtin and more.

'The Grid 001' captures Matrixxman in full Techno mode with tracks of pure rhythm, polyphony and shades of Acid bookended with brief ambient sketches . The Californian artist offers a sonic teleportation to outer space, to a different way of representing Techno and Electronic music. These six tracks are characterised by their futuristic atmosphere and clearly marked by their hypnotic construction, where elements that seem to be insignificant become the centre of attention, where a trivial whistle can be looped and turned into a main mutant melody, where textures become increasingly important to show us different sides of Techno. And, naturally, where all the rhythmic elements are placed on the front line.

Following on from the success of their inaugural record from label heads Noha & Alex Tea, Italian imprint PanickPanick! releases its second release here, the quite exceptional Panick02. A V/A affair that features three dazzling tracks, the action features Noha & Alex Tea once more, as well as a raft of astutely chosen guests.

Kicking things off is the ever dependable Franky Greiner. The German producer has really hit his stride of late, a fact that's laid bare when you consider he's supplied works to the likes of Perlon, Melisma and raum...musik over the years. A prolific musician and a dab hand at creating hypnotic minimal records, he does exactly that once more on Modol 02'. An intricate track full of hypnotic flair, it's imbued with clever percussion and spine-tingling melodies throughout. Definitely one for when the night takes a turn, that's for sure...

Elsewhere, it's up to Wareika to supply the goods on Our Hologram'. The Berlin-based live act (consisting of Florian Schirmacher, Henrik Raabe and Jacob Seidensticker), have themselves been turning heads of late, with recent gigs at Club der Visionaire particularly well received. Their effort here is a track that will perfectly compliment their live set up. An oddball minimal techno track that's sure to find favour with DJs of Villalobos' ilk, it's another potent example of the trio's undoubted ability to concost stunning techno with only a few parts.

Last but by no means least is Noha & Alex Tea's Thanks for Nothing'. The more 'dancefloor' friendly of all that's on offer here, this one follows a steady groove throughout, but it's the sun-kissed melodies and penchant for unpredictability that really helps it shine. An EP of various moods and vibes, PanickPanick!'s latest serves up an eclectic and most excellent array of sounds throughout.

PURISM welcomes Romanian minimal house upstart Mihai Popescu to the table, following the promising producer's run of hotly tipped singles on his own Soulsity label. The groove is crisp and infectious on opening cut "Do Watcha Feeel," which makes great use of a looped up melodic phrase and choice vocal snippets for a quintessential house throwdown. "Mixed Moods" is no less floor-ready, but its delicate, shimmering keys add a seductive quality that's impossible to resist. "Midnight Insp" takes a heads-down, tracky approach on its run in, but by the latter half opens up to reveal a gorgeous, swirling bath of chords. "Aritmethixx" provides contrast for the EP's closer, keeping the beat stripped back and using haunting flecks of sonic decoration that wouldn't sound out of place on a Horror Inc track.

With "Bridge" Norman really pulled off a great wrist-shot and "Plinkel" certainly is no ordinary musical-snack, it's
more like a spicy, full-flavour gourmet-dinner the cook offers in his menu. With his track "That's My Fall", he
accomplishes to hit the musical- bulls-eye and for those who missed his last shot, he generously stocks up their
record-ammunition with "5 Rauscher", too make even the laziest techno-patriots shake their booty.

Danny Clancy was one such admirer, and in turn brings Ahu's sophisticated sounds to his Dichotomy Records label for the 'Atlas' EP.

Apollo proudly presents a full release of the stunning debut album released by SW. SW's lush sound design and hypnotic arrangements nestles snugly alongside the classic 90's Apollo releases of Biosphere and Robert Leiner in all their balmy glory.
Originally issued on vinyl only via SW's own SUED imprint, this Apollo re-release represents something of a coup in that it's the first of the label's music to ever be presented digitally.
As a label, SUED has formed a reputation for releasing some of the most vital and sought after contemporary dance-floor vinyl, from both SW and SVN, as well as collaborations and comradeship with other analogue obsessed auteurs such as Dynamo Dreesen (who teams up with SVN as Dresvn), DJ Sotofett, DJ Fett Burger, PG Sounds and Club No-No, AKA Snorre Magnar Solberg.Ensconced in his studio in South West Germany, SW creates in isolation, exploring textures, dreamy melodies and mesmeric grooves within laid back 4/4 structures. 'The Album' was the first time anyone had experienced his music over a long player format and allowed SW to delve deeper into his influences. In addition to the aforementioned sublime electronica 'The Album' also takes its cues from the iconic house and techno of the mid / late 90s - SW manages to fuse these influences together to create a beguiling, modern take on classic sounds and rhythms that remains thrillingly unique and elusive. Resident Advisor bestowed a rare 4.5 out of 5 on the record, describing it as 'a lesson in how to put together a dance music album' Despite his comfort residing in the shadows, SW's stunning debut album richly deserves the exposure that this broader release on Apollo should rightfully bestow.

Having rounded out our first year with 'Amene' being selected by Pete Tong as one of his Tracks of the Year, Superfriends look to kickstart 2018 with a fresh remixed version of andhim's 'Huso EP'.
Friends and favourites have been chosen by the label bosses to lend their touch to the original tracks, each turning out fresh and exciting new versions of Huso and Amene.

First up and reworking the synth-laden eastern vibes of the title track are Italian duo Armonica and exciting Berlin based collective Bakery. Both deliver contrasting yet equally emotive offerings.

Staying true to the percussive flavour of the original, Sum Over Histories bosses Frankey & Sandrino gently guide Amene on a elegantly deeper path, while Tel Aviv's Autarkic maintains his stellar run of future-facing productions by turning the track on its head via some stirring dancefloor surgery.

Photic Fields usher a new name into the fold, Switzerland's Contra Communem Opinionem aka CCO. The Lux Rec and Mathematics alumni arrives with The Road to the Stars, five tracks of his trademark acid elegance. The ferocity of the 303 has been sheathed, percussion pared down with lush chords and deep warmth being the focus. House is the foundation from which CCO builds. Those time honoured sounds support cascading melodies and fragile keys for a 12" that borders between armchair abstraction, floor funk and the night sky.

Our next vinyl release comes from one of our core artists and the most recent commander of our HUB series, Clint Stewart. It is safe to say by now, that Stewart's strength and appeal lies in his versatility and his most recent EP 'Shadows On The Wall' may be the best example yet. Spanning dark, massive cuts to uplifting, ethereal journeys, his compositions always remain steadfast in their focus to create dramatic, emotional narratives and unforgettable moments. From the start, the self titled 'Shadows On The Wall' featured in Pan-Pot's debut BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix sees Clint deliver his heaviest tune to date where unrelenting percussion lays the foundation for an onslaught of climactic sonic eruptions emanating in an impressive display of powerful vibrations. 'Nias' takes a different trajectory as it shoots into celestial spaces where throbbing low end and lush pads harmonize into a vibrant array of gorgeous, shimmering aural arrangements. Following the approach of the previous two but landing somewhere in the middle is 'Lost On Kauai' where heaving drums and monumental bass converge with fever inducing arpeggios creating an incredible tension of opposing dynamics.

Hugely respected DJ, producer and Diynamic label boss Solomun has just revealed his latest remix, this time for popular NYC rock band Interpol. Forthcoming on 2DIY on the 29th April, the release also includes an extended 'Solomun Stripped Remix' without vocals and a slower build.

Taken from Interpol's latest album 'El Pintor', 'Everything Is Wrong' has been given a dancefloor-ready makeover from Solomun. His remix preserves the gritty guitar line, adding a subtle but deep bassline and echoey percussion. The vocals are slightly tweaked, their electronic twang reminiscent of 80s bands. As Solomon's strings slowly grow throughout the track, the vocals seem to take on a new sense of urgency, particularly in the two dramatic beatless breakdowns towards the end. True to form, Solomun's remix of 'Everything Is Wrong' preserves the mood and melody of the original, yet is a clearly recognisable production of his own, with so many iconic remixes under his belt, Solomun has become known for his masterfully emotive, slow-building takes on all manner of tracks.

As it's released at the end of April, 'Everything Is Wrong' comes out just as Solomun kicks off his hectic global touring schedule for the 2016 summer season, including the return of his famed 'Solomun + 1' residency at Pacha Ibiza.
