Roots For Bloom SHAG Edits series returns with volume 3. M.James brings us a track that will catch any music lovers ear. With the crisp percussion, delicate guitar riffs, a bassline that keeps evolving throughout and that vocal, this one ticks all the boxes. On the flip label boss Jamie Trench maintains the general feel for the record. This one focusing on a more simple yet just as effective bassline and obviously being heavily reliant on the sample being in the shag edits series. If your looking for that record that stands out from the rest, this is the weapon you need.

Following the critically acclaimed debut-release of BOB BHAMRAs WEST NORWOOD CASSETTE LIBRARY alias TEAL Recordings presents BLONDE ON BLONDE as its seminal release. This one is surely ment for the dancefloor: an addictive bassline, and a stomping house beat executed as were it a hidden gem dug out in a New York pawnshop. The ubiquitous RAMADANMAN hits the flipside under his PEARSON SOUND monkier, with a rehash of BLONDE ON BLONDE; with subtle references to the original version DAVID KENNEDY takes the remix to quite different, but equally interesting, places. Lush early morning vibes! - A must have! Support from, UNTOLD, 2562, BEN UFO, SHORTSTUFF, MOSCA, PARIAH.

Big techhouse cooperation between Artenvielfalt (Off Recordings, Light my Fire, Acker) and the TLK Homie Wolfgang Lohr including very big remixes by Tinush, Felix Jaehn and Rob Makzem.

2ND IN THE SERIES FROM KOLOUR OFFSHOOT, ANOTHER 4 TRACK EP FEAT SOME OF THE FINEST NAMES AROUND ALL DOING IT FOR CHARITY **LIMITED CLEAR VINYL**

ODD008 comes courtesy of London's bright new upstart, Henry Wu. Wu's funked up, woozy productions immediately grabbed our attention last year and we're delighted to welcome him to Odd Socks.
Motions of Wu Vol. 1 showcases 4 tracks of ultra smooth, part tender, part dancefloor business. Enjoy!

Quality reissue of the mega-rare Blow Up records release of the Italo masterpiece Pink Footpath by Loui$. Originally released in 1985, this gem has become one of the most h ighly sought after Italo Disco tracks around. On the A side is Magic Dance which is good, but it's the instrumental version of the track Pink Footpath that really gets the disco DJs drooling. With its killer analogue b-line, dreamy synths and Balearic guitar riffs, it's easy to see why it became such an anthem at the early Ibiza parties as well as a late night favourite in Chicago and New York. Highly recommended.

BUZZ COMPASS branches out from NO MORE HITS with this new 4 track EP on GLENVIEW RECORDS featuring disco and rap edits from RICK JAMES, RUN DMC, GHOSTFACE KILLAH and JAY DEE. AWE-SOME! Don't sleep on this (especially B1 killer house mix of GHOSTFACE) . Hand stamped white label pressed on strictly limited red colored vinyl! EDIT DISCO

Dancing with tears in your eyes on the remixes of 'Plastic Romance', one of the ace tracks off of 'What About The Magnetic Fields', Space Ranger's debut album on Lovemonk.

The German outfit returns with it fourth single on Lovemonk, the wonderful 'Plastic Romance' featuring the chilly vocals of Captn K, who can also be heard on previous single 'Nightmoves'. Bonar Bradberry throws some beef on the barbie and turns the slo-mo disco original into a ultra-funky dancefloor stormer, while the fabulous Rimshooters, a.k.a. Massimiliano Pagliara and Rotciv, speed it up and take it back to the eighties.

Motorcity Drum Ensemble shift into fifth gear as well and undress the tune while they're at it, leaving Captn K sounding even chillier. Groove Attack & Innervisions hero Marcus Worgull liked the MCDE remix so much, he decided to do his own edit of it. A fabulous package if ever there was one.

Background info:
Space Ranger come from the stars. The trio based in Stuttgart has a wide experience and an unlimited love for music. In their previous disguises, among which Dublex Inc, they have done remixes for the likes of Kool and The Gang, Sugababes or Kurtis Blow, but now they are absolutely focused on this project, brewing disco and house for today's dance floors from samples taken from their huge record collections. Knowledge is power and space is the place.

In our corner of leftfield dance music, there are not many of our heroes that we haven't had the pleasure of hosting on Circus Company. From the early days of Ark and Akufen to Robag Wruhme, Deetron and Franck Roger, we are privileged to have welcomed some genuine legends onto our label, and now we are honoured to add another all-time great to the list; SoulPhiction. Michel Baumann has long been a steadfast measure of everything 4/4 electronic music should be, both as SoulPhiction and Jackmate and as a curator of Philpot Records. Coming up from the same hip hop roots that inspired Circus Co. in the beginning, he channels a sample-fuelled, jazz-inflected sound that would buckle under the weight of the soul contained within were it not for the strength and presence of his rhythm section. With the pair of cuts he shares with us, all aspects of his lifetime's service are represented in fine style. The Aside swinger 'Glitz' comes rocking in on the kind of kinky groove that tickles our limbs just right, taking time for the beat to settle before unfurling a sumptuous funk lick and a bittersweet vocal hook that tugs at the hips and the heart strings. Meanwhile on the flip 'Jinx' provides a futuristic acid treatment, laying out a rigid drum machine mantra and bubbling 303 as a backbone. Meanwhile starlit techno synths dart around the mix with a highly-evolved purpose that eschews any concerns about throwback house music - this is strictly the sound of tomorrow, as techno was always meant to be.

Seven Davis Jr back on the scene with this killer live bonus 12" of P.A.R.T.Y, easily one of the hottest sides to land this year.

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is proud to welcome and brand new act Laptop Funkers from Portugal. They came out of nowhere with whole trunk of funk so funky that BBP just couldn't help but signing these boys on for a debut 12" vinyl release.
So here they are with the 6-track bad boy Ready To Rumble EP with an explicit oldskool funk sound that we immediately fell in love with here on BBP.
Ready to Rumble EP features the legendary jungle/hip-hop Dynamite MC known from his early jungle tunes with Roni Size and recently featuring on Krafty Kuts latest album.
You're in for some big grooves, funky street beats and classic party rocking jams on this badass 12" vinyl. Where else can you find germs like these but right here on BBP...;

To tie in with second installment of Supafunkanova we are re-releasing a re-packaged Volume 1.
Disco historians and top deckhands DJs Joey Negro and Sean P cast the net yet wider with 'Supafunkanova', another
retrospective of outstanding 12' tracks from the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Unearthing over 24 gems from their respective colossal record collections, the groovesome twosome pull together some of
the original backstreet 12s which put FUNK into the disco decades.
It's a collection sure to please all. The hard-bitten funk fan is likely to find something he hasn't unearthed yet or even knew
existed and the newly initiated disco boogie fan will find this a great place to start his digging. There's even an exclusive
remix by Joey Negro of the old school classic "We Rap More Mellow' by The Younger Generation, thrown in as an added
bonus. This DOUBLE LPfeatures some old school rap styles from Billy Lamont and South Bronx, plus some proper jazzy street funk
from Silver Lining, The Pied Piper of Funkingham and Hypertension. For the beat-focused, there are killer breaks to hand with
some old favourites from J. Gayle Gaymon, BLT and Legacy, as well as Ray Munning's cooler than cool remake of 'Funky
Nassau'. The gatefold Double LP also features a new and exclusive edit of Foreal People from Joey Negro.
Reigning in sounds from New York, South Carolina, Washington, Boston and Los Angeles, Supafunkanova Vol.1 is an
intoxicating blend of fiercely groovy arrangements, bouncy drumbeats and funk driven synths.
A musical mix still as likely to get the booty shaking as it was over 20 years ago!

The Sprëe Factory flourishes nowadays within the sub-culture that is electronic music. Hence, our record label represents the aggregate of our individual passions for this art form and their pioneers. We find pleasure as much in the experimental approach of Pierre Schaeffer's concrete music than in its unique genre: electronic music and the
agents for its evolution. Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills, Frankie Knuckles, Larry Levan, Kerri Chandler, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Daft Punk, Moodymann, Nina Kravitz, Seth Troxler, Motor City Drum Ensemble... these people are the reason why we strive to produce artists. This is what makes us want to be a part of this new generation
of producers, hoping to promote the work of young artists that we wish to see grow into people that inspire us by their values and their commitments to electronic music. Why Sprëe Factory The Spree originates in the Berlin river, secondary birthplace of Techno music as well as a cosmopolitan city. We do not wish to trap ourselves in
a selected number of sub-genres, indeed, we produce funk, house, ambient and techno artists. Factory Because of Pink Floyd's animal's album cover, because of the raves in factories in the 90s and
for the independent spirit of the eponymous Manchester label.

LIMITED COLOURED deejay.de EDITION

Big techhouse cooperation between Artenvielfalt (Off Recordings, Light my Fire, Acker) and the TLK Homie Wolfgang Lohr including very big remixes by Tinush, Felix Jaehn and Rob Makzem.

Philou Louzolo is a "natural born artist", a "raw talent".
"Zolo Grooves" are 4 afro funk masterpieces, it's a record produced to sound effortlessly musical, sure to do wonders on dancefloors worldwide.
"Zolo Grooves" is to be played uninterruptedly: from the amazing "Konkombe" (with it's wahwah guitar licks, slick and sharp snare patterns, and incredible sax solos) to "Marlena" (an irresistible tribute to the classic jazz singer's widely sampled moment of genius), from "Dem No Dance, Dem No See" (the track most deeply rooted in the afro sound, complete with ukeleles and full brass) to "Decolognize" (the most overtly "house" track). It's visceral, raw, sincere, honest and hard hitting afro house, celebratory musical bliss blessed in the light of what Tony Allen & Fela Kuti, Crissy Essien Igbokwe, Obi Onyioha and other great creators have made before, boldly sending these prophets's messages into the lives of a younger generation.

Dario D'Attis come back stronger than ever with an ultimate uplifting production...
The spanish vocals and the pumping groove make everybody move! Sexy quality house number! For sure a "tormenta hormonal"!

No stranger to the house scene, Kiko Navarro is a DJ and producer whose productions, remixes and edits have appeared on an impressive list of labels for many years.

Being a good friend of ours and always making us impressed with his productions we thought it was about time Kiko got a 12" to himself on Local Talk.
We are thrilled to be sharing the first Kiko Navarro EP on Local Talk, 'New Life'.

First up is Dope High, a raw, funked up and full of percussion that gets your head nodding, feet tapping and body moving. You could play this track on any sound system in the world and within 90 seconds Kenny Dope would be there smiling and making moves.

On the flip there's two versions of Nea Kameni.
First up is the Chicago house champ Glenn Underground. Glenn's early musical atmosphere was soaked in Jazz, Soul, Funk and Disco and this remix proves all that.
His 'Dance Fusion' remix is incredibly tight, soulful and uplifting. Music you’d expect from a true genius.

Finishing the 12" is the original mix of Nea Kameni - in it's original form perhaps best described as an end of the night track with it's dramatic build up, warm bassline, percussions and beautiful synth lines.

Kiko has created something that's both atmospheric and haunting at the same time. If you've ever searched for a track to play when the sun goes down, here it is. .

Collecting Orders For A Repress!
The puzzling duo like Tiger & Woods is back. Shrouded in mystery! Again! No one knows where it's coming from, no one knows where it's going.

collecting orders for a repess!
New kid on the block Jacob Korn (Dresden, Germany y'all!) convinced sometime somewhere in Toronto with a hearty live set that took a route over hip hop, down tempo house and all kinds of funkiness until it peaked with the disco-house-craze "I Like The Sun (But not on LEDs)".

Hypnotize to mesmerize. That's always been Mark E's thing. Enjoying a sterling reputation as an editor as well as establishing his own label MERC with a string of well made 12~s and two dope compilations, the man from Birmingham complements our little label again with some original productions.

S3A, Rhythm&Soul, Cecil, Adepte on Slow Town's 6th release! Four cuts that goes from the sexy garage touch of Rhythm&Soul's Say U Will, the amazingly organic funk touch of What I Dreamt from the parisien golden boy S3A to the aggressive naughty groove of the Cecil or the bizarre uptempo beats of hidden treasure from Paris, the new comer, Adepte.

We've found that dancing to music with positive vibes brings us the joy and energy we need to get on with our daily rhythms. The four tracks contained on this disc are made for dancing. They fit perfectly in uplifting sets and are crafted to blend together with a wide range of House flavours. Times Are Ruff understand what the soul needs to let go of the many forms of stress and pressures in life. We hope you enjoy the music as much as we have enjoyed making it and presenting it to you.

Bringing the virtuosity into contemporary dancemusic, two protagonists found themselves as being the new dreamteam of the scene: Thomas Melchior and Bruno Pronsato. And it works perfectly- Melchior, the perfectionist who always sets new standards regarding minimal house music and Pronsato, the scientist who discoveres the unheard and the unbelievable

Jonathan Moore, the man behind Leftside Wobble not only shares a name with the legendary Coldcut producer, but he's been involved with the underground music scene for almost as long.
Having started out at Paul Oakenfold's Project Club in the late 80's he went on to residencies at seminal house nights Solaris & Kinky Disco. The nineties & noughties saw him at the helm of a series of memorable club nights for Dazed & Confused magazine as well as regular appearances at the now sadly defunct Kings Cross establishments - The Cross, The Key & Canvas.

In recent years he's better known for his productions, edits and reworks he puts out under the Leftside Wobble banner - his rework of The Beatles 'Tomorrow Never Knows' was recently picked by Greg Wilson in his 'best ever' selection of edits/reworks. And his electric approach to music production has seen him commissioned for remix work for a diverse set artists including Bryan Ferry, The Temples, Detroit Swindle, Public Service Broadcasting, Ambient Jazz Ensemble and The Time & Space Machine.

x-cursions has been set up to celebrate the eclectic in dance music and specifically not be tied to any particular sub-genre. The first EP contains a classic Loleatta Holloway disco edit, an Ike & Tina Turner Balearic soul rework, and an electro funk track that harks back to the production style of Arthur Baker (already being supported by a diverse set of DJ's including Bill Brewster, Chris Coco, Kev Beadle and Justin Robertson). And the social media buzz is already cooking on these tracks, so far they've been favorited approx. 1500 times on Soundcloud and received approx. 20,000 combined plays.

Martin Brodin & Dumb Dan "Blood Stud" ...with the mighty Ray Mang on remix duties..massive record!!
