House Vinyl New Releases - News

The second of four singles from the forthcoming album. Cos/Mes have carved their niche and this heavy offering further cements their place in a new era of dance music. The A-side, Gozmez Land, paints a stormy and treacherous image difficult to describe with words, imagine Fitzcarraldo being driven by an enchanting House rhythm as opposed to an Opera. The B-side, a remarkable remix by village idiots TBD, will tease you relentlessly before making you weap. Artwork by Mario Hugo.

Extremely welcome reissue of this super dope and super rare slamming early 80s boogie classic. Coming out of Chicago in 1983 on the tiny label Full Scope, this was the only release for both the label and the band but what a release!! Heavily synth-laden, echoing cowbells, tight crisp percussion, superb bass - this is a fantastic example of 80s funk at its absolute best and deserves all the accolades it gets. Get a copy while you can.
