ESCORT is definitely not your typical band. Escort is big. Literally. The seventeen-member "disco orchestra", founded by producers Eugene Cho and Dan Balis, and fronted by lead singer Adeline Michèle, features an incredible cast of musicians who have played with everyone from indie-rock titans Arcade Fire to avant-classical luminaries Alarm Will Sound.

No Static Recordings is excited to announce a ten track album of remixes of classic Escort tracks, by some of the Disco and House scenes key players including Greg Wilson, Ewan Pearson, Max Essa, Leftside Wobble, Proper Heat, Venice Beach, Jkriv, Black Russian and Sub Swara. Escort burst on to the scene in 2006 with a string of critically acclaimed 12"s that included future classics "Starlight" and "All Through The Night", both DJ staples that get still get plenty of play on dancefloors. As DJs nursed their electro-clash hangover with a seemingly never ending stream of disco edits, Escort stood out, in part, by creating dance music the old fashioned way: with impeccable production, musicianship, and song-writing. The following several years saw them bring the same uncompromising approach to their live show. In an era where dance music is dominated by samples and computers, Escort took a sprawling ensemble to the stage and developed a reputation as one of New York's most compelling live acts, capable of performing their elaborate recordings note for note.

Following on from the success of Artifacts The Way It Do/We Trapped, the
somethinksounds cartel rolls on picking up even more steam this time calling on the
untapped talents of Lokiboi who serve up the insatiable Late Reaction EP which features
a collaboration with Love Fever darling Citizen. Having appeared previously on Kolour
Recordings as Klic (aka Medlar) & Lokiboi, this is his first solo appearance and his first
opportunity to demonstrate his unbelievable studio skills.
Up first Late Reaction rattles into our consciousness; constantly shifting this one never
lets up for moment and expert drum programming techniques ensure it has total control
over the listeners emotions throughout.
Intensity levels drop for the intro of Help Yourself as slower kick drums pulsate and
shuffling percussion rolls along as though it is being heard from the room next door.
Atmospheric pads path the way for incredible smooth garage beats to roll along with
snapping snares and chopped vocals giving the track direction.
Love Saves The Day invites man of the moment Citizen to get in on the action instantly
bringing his brand of reverbed, garage-house soundscapes which is much complemented
by the percussive arrangements of Lokiboi. Excellent vocals and soaring pads take the
whole thing to a match made in dancefloor paradise.
Rounding off this superb release we have Keep On Loving Me Dry which builds and
builds to a dramatic climax before descending into possibly the biggest breakdown on the
EP.

Producer/multi-instrumentalist Stefan "Merse" Ulrich and singer/songwriter Neve aka Alexa Voss are Neve Naive. And with "The Inner Peace Of Cat And Bird" they just released on Sonar Kollektiv one of the most astonishing debut albums of the year.
The first single off the album, 'Dancer', is now being released with three remixes - each of them as particular as inspiring. On the A side you get the one by Superluminal. After the three guys from Warsaw, Fabian, Greg and Cbass, have provided their typical funky sound to the remix of Jazzanova's 'I Human' last year, they were eventually first choice for a rework of 'Dancer'. The track now even more makes you get a move on and grooves thanks to a fresh rhythm guitar and added percussion right across the dance floor with a big feisty grin.
Paskal & Urban Absolutes also want to squeeze the funk out of the track. As you know funk appears in different shapes and forms though. The one by the remixing duo of the hour comes in much more sec and impulsive. The arrangement has been totally disposed as well - everything pointing towards 5 o'clock in the morning, the time when sweat and tears of joy start to blend.
The third remixer isn't a new name in Sonar Kollektiv's stable as well. Moscow based Phil Gerus belongs, next to Paskal & Urban Absolutes, to the uprising shooting stars of the label. He owes less to the dance floor than to the things that happen afterwards, after a long night out. His remix of 'Dancer' displays again impressively why he is one of the leading spearheads of chillwave.
The original is put through the mill so drastically that in the end only the essence of it is left over. And in a medicative way or so this just feels so damn good.

Sunkissed Recordings' latest offering features four Balearic gems from the incredible Grace Jones. One of the faces of the original Ibiza party scene, Grace spent many a debauched night partying hard on the island and her music was as influential on the original Balearic scene as it was in the New York disco underground. First up is the amazing Tom Moulton 12' version of 'La Vie En Rose' - a slo-mo sensual disco masterpiece that became an anthem at Ibiza's Amnesia. Next up is the extended 12' version of 'Feel Up' with a fantastic groove that filled floors from the Paradise Garage to Pacha. Winning critical acclaim alongside rapturous responses from live crowds, Rudimental are a collective with strong musical heart (in the shape of Piers Aggett, Amir Amor, Kesi Dryden and Leon Rolle) who, like Soul II Soul, Massive Attack or Basement Jaxx before have come together to strike musical gold with a unique identity: sound- clashing live instruments, beats and soulful voices. Rudimental release their debut album Home , through Asylum Records on April 29th. . It follows the blaze lit by previous singles - the chart-topping 'Feel The Love', 'Not Giving In', with its empowering message for hard times, and the bittersweet street record 'Hell Could Freeze' - with New York rapper Angel Haze. Berlins notorious Bar 25 might have closed down for this summer, but this fresh new output by Stil vor Talents new wunderkind David August will keep everyone grooving to the swing-orientated techno that has made this place so special.

I had dinner with Breach in London and he told me "Hey, I have a track that is really dirtybird. I would put it out but its really sounding
right for you guys". I took this with a grain of salt but then I heard "Let's Get Hot" and I found out he was right. It's got the swagger
and the sound. It makes girls grind their asses into boys crotches on the dancefloor. Perfect. Signed. So I then asked him to make
something even more sexual, thinking it would be ages before I got something back. 10 days later the A-side came back to me as a 2
minute clip while I was on the train to warehouse project in Manchester. I liked it so much that I edited it on the train to stretch it out
to 5 minute. As expected, it slayed the room and the final version Breach has delivered is one of the best records of the year in my

t's been a long time coming for Goodwill Gumede. The South African singer and musician has been working on his material for over six years under the enigmatic moniker EnaWadan before finally exhibiting his productions to a worldwide audience (thanks to Sonar Kollektiv's signing). The spirituality of his alias (which means literally translated "I
am everything in anything") can also be heard in his creative output. His African background and heritage looms very large in his approach to produce contemporary dance music. But don't try to limit him to his sophisticated rhythm structures.

Second out on Jean Claude Gavri's Coco Bin Wax imprint sees him deliver two superb retouches of a certain classic record from the Eighties .

The original artist has been rather popular over the years, a hero to many, known for floating in tin cans, sporting screwed up eyes and a screwed down haircut, a man who has fallen towards his home planet and questioned life on others.

Needless to say JC has taken the finest elements of the track and reworked them to bring joy to any serious dancefloor, moonlit or otherwise. Funky tribal percussion, dramatic synths and echos add depth and modernity to the sound and vision of the original and of course that all-important instantly recognisable bass stab is stronger than ever. Flip for a stripped up, not down, dub and the result is a superb record that will be played far more than just for one day.

Da Soul Revival Classics Vol 1 presents two gems from the Tyree Cooper canon and ensures the newly established Chicago Vinyl Records operation launches in fine style. Brandishing one of house music's most distinctive voices as well as an enviable discography and endlessly energetic style, Cooper's contribution to Chicago House cannot be disputed. The label delve into Cooper's Dancemania contributions on the A Side, plucking out the B Side bump of "Kan I Get High" which originally saw release on his 1997 Future Recooped 12" for the iconic imprint. Flip over and Cooper's dedication to all the stars of Chicago "Tyz 'N' Da Middle" gets a much needed airing having first appeared back in 1995 on Quick Release Records.

Paradise Club Recordings are due to serve up another eclectic EP later this month - their first selection of what they have in store for
2013 - and it's one that furthers the label's trend of showcasing the many different styles at their disposal from their current roster.
Label stalwart Jabru kicks things off with 'Last Days of Rome', an aptly-titled cut that begins by traipsing through ambient swells and
looms, only to then brew up a truly decadent, central dancehall rhythm. The so-real-you-can-taste-it narrative of featured vocalist and
LV collaborator Joshua Idehen also lends the lyrical side a distinct sense of tangibility that serves to genuinely build upon the track's
woozy atmosphere more and more as the story progresses. Bristol's Hodge is on hand for the remix, and whilst his take is
deceptively similar initially, Jabru's tune is given a much more bass-inclined edge once it drops and it makes for a heart racing affair
by all accounts.
The EP takes a house-driven swerve with the final two tracks - Blacksmif's 'Gavelock' has lasers sniping constantly from one end of
the track to the other, allowing for its gloriously infectious groove to carve its way nice 'n easy straight down the middle. Equipped
with 'Solace State' (a joint effort courtesy of PCR up-and-comers Juno Sutton & MTD) and its jumping melody that blossoms with a
truly sublime vocal break, both tunes utilise many of the tropes associated with the modern house of the moment, and it's safe to say
with the dance world's current fascination on the slightly weirder side of the subgenre at full capacity, finishing the EP off with this
one-two punch was most definitely a damn good idea.

Venezuelan-born Miguel Toro is an impulse generator: a versatile drummer and percussionist. Rhythm is his motor, but rhythm here does not just denote a motion within a certain beat. Rather it means a fundamental, ever changing pulse, vibration, resonance. Inspired by aesthetic forms as intense and diverse as the jungle of sounds ascending from his royal dust, Miguel Toro succeeds in giving them an extraordinary voice. Imagine a mixed chorus of Tom Waits, Morphine, Talk Talk, Stan Getz, bass sax player Colin Stetson, Canonball Adderley, Mulatu Astatke and a bit of Emil Richards in a Film Noir setting in the desert under the stars: It's the spirit of their collective poetry that soars up.
A sound designer for famous artists and institutions like Olafur Eliasson and the Bauhaus Dessau, a remixer for Tony Allen's Afrobeatmakers, and a collaborator with exceptional artists like epic chanteuse Aerea Negrot and Mambolectro project Mambotur, Miguel Toro accumulates a lot of experience and expertise. In a most sophisticated way, the result of his work marks the birth of a vibrant musical lifeform that exists in Selva Swing time. "Royal Dust" is a concept: utilizing one single microphone, one computer and several apartment rooms for a most unique and efficient recording process. It is a creation that transfuses an abundance of colour and soul to the amalgamation of Jazz, Lounge and Electronics, soaked with inspiration.

San Francisco label Public Release Recordings steps boldly into 2013 with a new single from Woolfy (a.k.a. Simon James). "Junior's Throwin Craze" is a slinky ode to the kind of red-eyed madness symptomatic of round-the-clock hardcore partying. That is to say, it's another late-night anthem rooted in the playful sound of West Coast sleaze.

"Haven't slept for days!" shouts James to kick off the a-side original. Cruising erratically, like a luxury yacht commandeered by a bacchanal, it quickly establishes an exuberant good-time energy by weaving jittering Clavinets and burned-out guitars over a elastic Loose Joints-style rhythm. The bender keeps going and he's soon joined by a battery of echoing disco toms that fly through like vaporous sonic hallucinations. By the time the party starts chanting "Everybody get a little," it's clear that truer words have never been spoken.

Next up we find Eric Duncan's "Dr Dunks Bar Club Dub," the first of three remixes. Here the New Yorker accentuates the track's natural trippiness by extending it into a seven-minute journey through thick washes of reverb and old-school Jamaican delay. Fellow Big Apple-resident Jacques Renault compliments the more disco-forward tendencies of the two a-side versions with a b-side take that injects the cut with the unmistakable stutter of early-'90s garage. Staying true to the ethos expressed by his label Let's Play House, he throws in heavily swung snares, snappy hi-hats, and a jacking bassline to lend the EP some serious peak-time muscle.

This uptempo energy reaches its apex with the record's final mix by Being Borings, the Japanese duo of Tomoki Kanda and Crue-L Records label head Kenji Takimi. Under their direction the song is pushed towards the beautiful excesses of late-'70s hi-nrg via gargantuan orchestral flourishes and a galloping bassline that might as well be straight from the annals of Casablanca Records. Like the release it springs from, it's an enabling whole-hearted embrace of the trials and pleasures that come with the 24 hour party lifestyle.

Just when you thought we run out of them, we're proud to introduce the next wunderkind of the Berlin techno-/house scene: Hannes Fischer was born in Thüringen, raised in Baden-Württemberg and finally moved to the capitol of club culture. Here he caught attention in no time with unofficial remixes for Adele, Bon Iver and Lana Del Rey. His remix of "Down On Your Own" by Dems sports now more than half a milion views on Youtube. It didn't take long therefore until an official remix request for Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness" dropped in. As much fun as it is for Fischer to do reworks of existing tracks, as eager one now awaits his own original material. And you can be assured: he has accumulated quite a lot.His 12inch for the "Based On Misunderstanding" series on Sonar Kollektiv is a stroke of genius in every sense. With "Deep Field" he connects the dots between deepest house and ethereous space boogie somewhere along the reference points of John Daly and Space Dimension Controller. Its electrifying bass line and a Balearic guitar break make "Mystic Mountain" catch the spirit of the times right on. With all the ideas stuck in this single track others would have filled a whole album.
Obviously Fischer will be flooded with remix inquires over the next few months. Which will hopefully still leave him with enough time to start working on his debut album. Who doesn't want more of this!

Legendary producer Ian Pooley has partnered up with up and coming producer Spencer Parker to create a very dynamic duo. We have been trying to work with Spencer and Ian for quite some time and now we get both of them on one.

Hiem, who created the stunning '2.A.M' single with the Human League's Phil Oakey earlier this year on Nang, returns with another collaboration of equal measure, this time with the UK's one and only Roots Manuva.Hiem, aka Nick "Nico" Eastwood and David "Bozz" Boswell come from Sheffield's rich musical heritage. Bozz once fronted the 'chart bothering' outfit called All Seeing I back in the the 90's, a supergroup of sorts that included Jarvis Cocker and Babybird to name a few. The Guardian recently called Hiem 'A rum mix of lissom disco, acid northern observation a la John Cooper Clarke, brutal Sheff-tronics and glittering crystalline electro'.

Danny Wolfers wears many hats: Jackmaster Corky, Trackman Lafonte & Bonquiqui, Legowelt... Nacho Patrol is Danny's travels towards African Space travel. Where earlier Nacho Patrol records spent time exploring cosmic Ethiopia, this current incarnation adds a more sci-fi element to the mix, taking influences from Chicago house to Sun City Girls, this is purely original sounds from one of the best producers out there.

It might sound like an empty phrase, but when Oliver Koletzki founded Stil vor Talent in 2005, he certainly didn't anticipate where his label would be today. Now - six years and over sixty releases later - Stil vor Talent can look back at many magnificent moments in the label's history.

For release number 004 Maria Colors relies on a mixture of new and already established artists on the label. Taron-Trekka return to the imprint with a dark and dubby dancefloor slammer from the borderland of House and Techno. In contrast, Drei Farben House, who has also been featured on Maria Colors before, emphasises the warm and light side of House music with his Soul- and Popinfluenced track - Canvas'. Finally, YNK is a new introduction to the label. With releases on Tenderpark already under his belt, the young artist comes up with a cool and funky electronic Hip- Hop track. Altogether, these three tracks wonderfully illustrate the various aspects of Maria Colors' sound.

Fortunately, he also has excellent taste and a lengthy history of wheeling and dealing with other similarly afflicted individuals, a history that has allowed him to sift the wheat from the crap, err, chaff, as it were. As a long-time staffer of the notorious Reckless Records on Berwick Street, a hotbed of vinyl commerce in the Soho section of London, these skills were no doubt put to the test on a daily basis when dealing with the continuous influx of hustlers hoping to offload their by-and-large worthless wax at the shop. Faced with this parade of the common and shoddy, it takes a keen eye to single out the precious stones buried in the seemingly endless expanse of decent-but-ordinary (not to mention the middling-to-awful) records that comprise most collections. IN THE FOREST PT. 2 (KENNY DOPE MIXES & EDITS) [SPECIAL DOUBLE PACK] (2 x 7")

Joe Bataan has always been a favourite of Jazzanova. His unique blend of latin, soul, funk and jazz is an inspiration, not only for Jazzanova. Bataan was born in 1942 to a Filippino dad and Afroamerican mother in Spanish Harlem, New York. In this vibrant melting pot of vast cultural influences he soon developped his own style and became one of the biggest star of the booming boogaloo scene. With his hits for the imprint, he helped Fania Records to become the biggest Latin label by the late 1960's and founded Salsoul Records in 1974, which he later sold to the Carye brothers. In 1982, after recording 10 albums and numerous singles, he retreated from his music career. Only in 2005 he came back with an new album and is touring since then on a regular basis. Throughout this all, Bataan's signature song has remained one of his earliest: 'Ordinary Guy,' first recorded back in 1966. An original composition, the song bespeaks Bataan's around-the-way demeanor and self-perception. For all his career highs and lows, he's remained, at the core, just an ordinary joe: 'It's been my moniker for a long time. You know, hey, I'm an ordinary guy. Don't expect anything else. I mean, that's me, and I've always been that way.' He recorded at least four versions of it over the years and is also a great entry into appreciating how he innovated the whole Latin Soul genre. The rework by Jazzanova, with newly recorded vocals by now 70-yeras old Bataan, is much more than just an update of this timeless classic. The swining back groove is a modern interpretation of 60's soul/funk that takes you back to the golden days of Motown, Stax and Fania. The fantastic drum break in the middle of the track and the kinky rhythm guitar licks as well as the lively bass (provided by Jazzanova live band members Arne Jansen and Paul Kleber) are so right on the money that probably even Booker T. & The M.G.'s wouldn't have done a better job.

Crazy P return with one of the highlights from the 'When We On' album. 'Heartbreaker' is the sound of a band at the top of it's game, amazing musicians showing the disco pretenders how its done. The track came out of one of their many jam sessions and moves along on subtle changes of the drums, bass, guitars and keys that only a band with an intimate knowledge of themselves and the dancefloor can employ. To be given these kinds of parts for a remix must be a joy for any producer and the lucky pair on remix duties are Mark E and Huxley
We've been big fans of Mark E since he appeared on the scene with his amazing Womack and Womack edit and he's played 2020Vision parties for us where he always proves he's a master of rocking the party without having to compromise his deep and classic style. His remix is deep, moody and hypnotic and no doubt has already been doing the business in his sets, it's a great alternative to the summery sounds of the original.

Huxley has already appeared on 2020 with the 'Out Of The Box EP' and it's good to have him back, his mix is another of his excellent house/garage fusions. He keeps a lot of the parts that makes the original so addictive, but flips it into a Huxley club track with his trademark drums and bass.

124 Recordings introduce their second release,the 'Underground Frequencies' EP,showcasing tracks from four producers based in France,Denmark,Israel and Russia.First up is a a track that has been getting a lot of attention on promo,two guy's from Aarhus Denmark with a passion for true house music,the 2 Bit Crew's 'Just Cant Seem'.Taking a sound heavily influenced by the Underground House music/Garage sound of the 90's,this is a bumping groove with a driving bassline and hatswith a simple female vocal sample that will stick in your brain.The second track takes things deeper with Bastien Carrara aka LGG with 'Let Me',smooth Rhodes chords with a 'love Sensation' sample underpinned by raw beats and sub-bass. On the second side things get a little tougher.The third track is from a producer who has had many releases already on labels such as Balance Alliance,Seven Music and Undertones,Konstantyn Isaev,better known as Volta Cab. His track 'What Is Underground' focuses primarily on a killer bassline,retro synth stabs and a cheeky hip-hop sample used to great effect.Finally is Haim Rosenhaft,a young producer from Israel with '1992',his homage consists of an old school organ sound with heavy kicks and snares influenced by the sound of label's like UMM and Cleveland City in the 90's.Again this will be a vinyl only release

It was here that I first discovered Chuck Brown & the Soul Searchers.... 'Ashley's Roach Clip' was the sort of track title that would grab my attention According to John it was 'shite' from Washington DC... from that album I hunted out many more records, slowly putting the story together and thus finding GoGo. I even went on a pilgrimage to Washington in about 1986 on a record-buying trip... Had to ship 'em back and pay a stupid amount of tax but those tunes still rock and those toms will always roll...' GoGo Get Down is the latest compilation from Dave Lee aka Joey Negro to be released on the Z Records label. A mammoth and rare retrospective of Washington DC's spectrum of Ghetto Funk, this collection showcases the visionary side of the GoGo scene while bringing its key artists the modern exposure they deserve.



Joey Negro gives us an insight into the vintage rhythms and chiming cowbells as well as the dedicated soul screams that pierce through the retro soul rhythm that gives GoGo its distinctive sound.



'As someone who has more or less made a career out of being a music lover, it's a great buzz to put together and release albums of these semi-forgotten genres like GoGo or our recent Brit Funk compilation. Many of the tracks included on this album are ultra obscure local-only releases which I've picked over my years of digging. Seeing a project like this through from the initial concept to the final product is quite a task at Z HQ and at points you can't help but wish you'd never started the damn thing ;-)

Through their label Cocktail d'Amore, Discodromo and Boris offer you thefirst 12" from Studio Luce. Studio Luce is Berlin's newest musical collaboration bringing Franz Scala and Dimitri SoEmotional together to explore the sensitive pulse of dance music. Their roots are synth funk, 80's modern soul, new wave, electroand old school disco. The original track is called "Defender X" and can be described as a funktrack with a contemporary digital touch. Surrounding it, Toby Tobias andTuff City Kids (Gerd Janson and Lauer) provide their interpretations. While Toby develops his version in a 2-part remix made of dubby chord stabs, a deep rolling bassline and an excellent meticulous production,Tuff City Kids opt for a warm bassline, very tight drum programming, shimmering trancey synth and a catchy house-chords progression right tothe last breakdown. The latter also emphasize the rhythmic section for anadditional track called "drum remix" which pays tribute to Idjut Boysproductions including a lot of reverbs and reverse tape delays.

As a man well versed in the moves of the old-school, Fabio Monesi launches his Albion imprint with the immaculately executed styles of "623", full of sexy 90s synth notes and crisp, pumping beats. Washerman brings a more rugged style on his remix of the tune, dropping in some cheeky and thoroughly familiar samples, while the melody wobbles around an amorphous scale. "The Peephouse" finds Monesi reaching back to the soothing organ tones of the DX7, with a gentle and piano-driven throw down that stills carries plenty of heft for the floor. Rio Padice steps up for another remix of "623" and spreads a strange and nervous shape-shifter of a late-night jam, scattering the vocals like confetti and nudging the drums out of joint on a whim.

Pls welcome New Yorks finest gems Boody & LE1F - our most recent joint of the BNR-Crew. Both producers, beatmakers, rapper and vocalist, two multitalents all in all. After his murky debut mixtape 'Dark York', LE1F's now hooking up with his long friend Boody to present their first release 'Liquid' EP on Boysnoize Records. The record opens with 'Jelly Fish' - deadly, deep kicks sphered by drippy ice rinks. Brilliant balance between low-kicks and driving sirens unleashing the tracks unique shapings. 'Buoy' swipes away into a howling, cryptical and moody underwater action - closing gates, chirping birds and vanishing claps building a dark cavernous tension. As the subs shift from high to low, Boody & LE1F blesse the track with whispered vocals giving everything vogueish breeze. Next 'Soda' chops up the classic 'The Ha Dance' of Masters at Work into a kunty juke-ballroom mix. Furious 'Ha Samples' winding trough the track as minimalistic footwerk kicks and aqua drops joining the game. LE1F demonstrates his excellent rap skills here and shows you how to run this catwalk! With it's UK Funky rooted percussion and dominant basslines, the New York collaboration takes it to another level with 'Sweet Tea' while Khalif's stargazing performance glides across the track. Following is Cedaa's remix of 'Sweet tea'. He loops LE1F's strongest lines 'Damn Mama put it down this is way too hot for me!' and permeating hollow pitched 'Oh!' in the back. His hydraulic mix pumps the original to a one of a kind club monster. The EP closes with cunty East Coasts Ballroom beats remix from MikeQ and Divoli S'vere of 'Soda'. Together they re- construct the original to a deadly vogue anthem and bringing the taste of the New Jersey ballroom underground to those who are 'in the know'.

Tiago is such a quietly unique mind of his own. Yet he incarnates so many different artistic personas. In fact, we could reference countless alias, so huge is the body of work done for many great labels around the world. On Groovement, TNT Subhead project emerged back in 2010 with a limited heavyweight red vinyl under a secretive identity, but it didn't last long. However, we didn't rush him to deliver a new one as usual nowadays. Now that the wait is over, the reward is big. 'Ecstasy & release' LP is finished and will be released soon. Boola (part of (a:rpia:r)) started spinning in the summer of 2005, in Ibiza, where he had the great opportunity to play at the famous DC10. As a producer, he had his first release on the romanian superlabel (a:rpia:r), followed by Lomidhigh Lmtd.,Rekids, Lomidhigh Organic, Innervisions, All Inn, Cecille, Soweso and some tracks on Cabin Fever, including Balada Redo, featured on the Fabric 48 cd, mixed by Radio Slave. In his dj sets, Boola tries to bring back some of the dirty "in yo face" old school sound, warming up the decks for legends like Dj Sneak and Eddie Richards. Performances at Panorama Bar (Berlin), Trouw (Amsterdam) and other european clubs. He represented Romania (alongside Demos, Petre Inspirescu and Praslea) at the Worldtronics 2008 Festival in Berlin and mixed at the famous italian New Years Afterhour, "Fiesta Privada". This third one comes from fabulous Mexico. By newcomers MOON RUNNER. Formed by musicians Alec Sander a.k.a La Royale and Juan Soto, who have been resident DJ's at Mexico City's hottest clubs like Rhodesia and MN Roy for a few years now. They make deep, electronic funkhouse. The main track got already played by top producers such as Space Ranger and Aeroplane (who used it on one of his recent podcasts).
