Also on this Ep four new artists are on board : Marco Effe, Alexandar Ivkovic, Neverdogs and CLiVe. 'Weird Tales' is the Marco Effe track, an incredible artist of Digital Traffik family and founder of his own "Impress" party on Watergate Berlin. Kick and bass lines are big, the melodies are infectious and techno just keeps on giving... simply amazing! Alexandar Ivkovic presents 'NBDG' : in this track merge is signature techno-detroit sound into something that still contains stacks of class and character. Neverdogs directly from Music On World Tour returns in Digital Traffik family after two years. Throughout their track "State Of Blind" there is a sense of tension that is created through the eerie pads and synths combining to create different rhythms to keep the listener on their toes. "Mambo Cafè" is the last track of this vinyl and is composed by the A&R of Digital Traffik : CLiVe. This song is an amazing train without stop... Fat bass, groovy percussions and an incredible pause perfect for every kind of dance floor!!! Of course : not to be misse

As dancefloor driven as ethereal, this EP is a perfect balance between 3AM craziness and end of the night pleasures. On top of that, we're bringing two remixes by the prolific Marquis Hawkes. An acid bomb to spice up this already powerful package, and Lord Of The Isles with his beautiful version of Where Were We.

swiss deepness part two

Too late for this year's Christmas festivities, but hopefully still an acceptable gift for vinyl enthusiasts: two previously digital-only tracks from the Running Back(catalogue) on one split-10-plate.

Following his first ep for Accidental Jnr in the summer Bambooman is now back with something entirely different. The downtempo experimental designs of the 'Feel EP' give way to his latest offering 'Shudder'. Available on 12' and digital the 4 tracks of Shudder weave through a club music tapestry like a chainsaw through custard. The opening and title track is hard to describe, a mix of off kilter synth stabs and hammering snare that routes you to the floor - it's one of those tracks to whip out of your bag to remind the crowd they have no idea what is coming next. Track 2 'Grasp' with a blissful Detroit groove under deep rich melting chords is a perfect blend of early funk house style and super crisp new production.Side B opens with 'M1' a lazy floor track with washes of bells, static and detuned synth above a bed of solid kick and shuffling bass. Finally 'Kyrian' closes proceedings, another club friendly slice (despite being in a 7/8 time signature), the track could have led the EP in its own right but feels like the perfect bookend with its shifting almost garage like 2-step feel and glancing vocal hook.Bambooman wields refined live recordings, warm exquisite melodies and a silvery vocal into the track's rich musical fabric. It's hard to suppress the emotions with this one' - Boiler Room on 'Feel EP'

Franck Roger reunites with vocal powerhouse Mandel Turner for one of the year's most infectious tracks, 'Through The Motions'. The product of a melting pot of inspirations, 'Through The Motions' features a hilarious spoken-word sample, Mandel's ultra smooth vocal contribution and louche, hypnotic atmosphere underpinned by a laid back BPM.Franck and Mandel first got together on one of last year's dancefloor smashes, the superlative 'After All'. The twosome found common ground through their love of eighties and nineties New York musical culture. Mandel being one of the fortunate few to have spent time at Larry Levan's Paradise Garage, where the magic really happened week in, week out for over a decade between the mid- seventies and mid-eighties. Franck and Mandel formed a strong friendship and decided to continue their working relationship by reuniting for 'Through The Motions'.Franck concocted the track's continuous linear beat after finding inspiration in one of his favourite tracks, the cult classic 'Make Me Dance (Hard For The DJ) by Nu Groove legend Basil Hardhaus. Later, during their studio sessions, Franck and Mandel came up with the hook This time derived from a cult track from the nineties New Jersey scene, 'Goin' Through The Motions' by Keisha Jenkins and produced by New York duo, Blaze. Add to that a side-splitting vocal sample and 'Through The Motions' was born.Just like 'After All', 'Through The Motions' is proof that the partnership between Franck Roger and Mandel Turner is one that can Produce Instant classics. Their joint musical heritage combined with a variety of influences, from both house and many other genres, Giving to high Quality contemporary electronic music.

When WPH boss Red D heard 'Toriton' being played by Ken Ishii during a WPH radio takeover on Belgium's Studio Brussel radio station he ran to the booth and knew this track had WPH written all over it. Not abiding to any trends, just devastatingly beautiful house music.
.
Some licence negotiations and months later Satoshi Fumi agreed and made 'Lalalalaland', a brand new track to go along with 'Toriton' and make up this E.P.

The title track has that unmistakable Detroit feel that takes you from melancholy to euphoria and back, while 'Lalalalaland' has been described by people hearing it in Red D's sets this summer as 'Japanese sunset trance' or 'end of the night eyes closed hands in the air stuff'.

Whatever the words, it's the music that counts and Satoshi Fumi takes his place among the WPH family in style!

Mr. Fingers classics from 1986. Re mastered versions from the 'Traxbox' compilation.

Orlando Voorn, the artist:
He who started in the late 80's as a successful DMC DJ in The Netherlands, mixing electro and hip-hop tracks, established thenafter an historic musical connection between Amsterdam and Detroit. Orlando Voorn's unique signature of early productions, analog tweaks, funky beats and cosmic chords, quickly attracted the attention of the like of Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson, for which he produced game changing classic tracks like "Game One (as Infiniti)" and "Fix (as Flash)" in the early 90's only to continue to do so until today on numerous labels (R&S, Fragile, Nightvision...) and under various aliases (Playboy, Ghetto Brothers, Format...).

Abstract Music hits release number four with a firing new EP from Budai. His one original gets remixed by
Obrotka and Basti Grub and it makes for another great package. Budai is a Hungarian producer who has been kicking out
the jams since 1997. He has released on labels like Universal and Foundation and many more.
His cut here Katmandu is a playful party starting house tune with wonky synths and big vocal line that is classic and fun.

Up first to remix is Basti Grub, and he layers in more wild synths, percolating percussive sounds and big chords
and the whole thing carries you away on a nicely colourful groove.
Another Hungarian in the form of Obrotka then adds another remix, and takes one main time bomb.
Deep and dynamic with lots of moody grooves all sucking you in.

This is another fresh EP that is sure to make a mark on the floor.

On this joint EP with Reggie Dokes, Gari explores the world of deepness without hesitation. He takes us on an intergalactic mind trip, while keeping it true to the dancefloor.
.
On the A side is Reggie Dokes, who gives us deep house, then without shame moves us into that Detroit style of techno, cultivated by the Motor City. Mr. Dokes likes to walk in both worlds of house and techno, and not confine himself to one particular genre. This EP is the perfect
marriage of two creative producers, who bring excitement and inspiration to the dancefloor.

The Master is back, not many words needed to introduce one of the biggest pioneers of Deep & Emotional Electronic Music. Karim Sahraoui play on a league of his own, this is the second release of many to come. Thank you. All on Transparent Yellow, Black & Clear mixed 12".

Roots Underground Records presents the 4th ace release signed by Marcello Napoletano who's back in the guise of Anthony Parasaula. The gifted mind of the Italian producer has been digging through visceral, rough, genuine or physically concrete meanderings of the underground electronic culture while sublimating the sound by his peculiar treatments to drive it to a certain diverse sophistication. This three-tracker makes no exception.

Hand stamped white label 12" featuring two unreleased, but dope as hell remixes/edits from Chicago house legend, GLENN UNDERGROUND: GLENN's jazzy and soulful "NOSTALGIC FOREVER MIX" of AMP FIDDLER's "MORNIN" backed with the his bumpy "REWERK" of RAUL MIDON's "SUNSHINE". Deep and wonderful!

Toribio is Cesar Toribio, a Dominican American living in Brooklyn by way of Tampa, Florida. He's an alumni of Berklee's School of Music, and recorded 'My Dear' in his college dorm room in 2011. It's difficult for me to find the words to express how proud I am to be releasing out his first recorded works. Especially in a physical form. The music is honest, vulnerable, and exposes parts of his personality that even those who are fortunate to know him, have never seen before. 'Esa Montana se Movera' contains 4 tracks - 3 original songs on Side A, and a 10+ minute remix from Joaquin 'Joe' Claussell, a long admired hero of Cesar's, on the flip. -Paul

JJuan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald - the two indispensable protagonists of the Electric Garden - plug back into the wilderness. Transport - the new full length effort of the Borderland collaborative project - brings together a new set of studio-refined sequences aimed at colonizing some of the dark energy that pulsates through those areas that are thoroughly electrified, even if not 'on the grid'. 'Riod' is the first streak to bolt through.

The Detroit-Berlin axis triangulates to a third point which, like the atomic particle that lives in two places at once, flickers between a form of techno-charged ambience and a futuristic club-jazz which cannot be broken down into constitutive parts. Borderland remains caught in a state of enraptured stillness, invisibly moving between every
imagined future for electronic sound making. The result: a font from which springs serene and exhilarating musical ideas that vibrate with refined energy for sixty seconds in every minute.
