We are proud to introduce you our brand new number five release, from no other than the HOAX BELIEVERS, this misterious combo deliver their first audio output in our label, and this make us happy.

Genesis Ep is a showroom of the sonic capabilities of this two studio wizards, cooked slowly using a mixture of analogue and digital tools, their sound is warm and fuzzy at the same time, deeply rooted in the Detroit / Chicago axis

Early supported by Gregor Tresher, Vince Watson, Luke Solomon, Chymera, Samuel L Session, Ewan Pearson and many more.

After digital releases by Ingo Boss, Falko Brocksieper, Benjamin Fehr and more, "Suena Hermosa" starts with its first vinylrelease. Labelhead Alex Rath delivers the hypnotic original track and two strong remixes by Jeremy P Caulfield and Mike Wall. The Label significantly contrasts to the majority by combining outstanding quality, professionalism and a high musical level.

Reports of a brutal massacre have been surfacing from various social media platforms in the last few hours. Eyewitness reports of the aftermath have said 'there were pieces of skinny jeans everywhere!' and 'the stench of burnt beard hung heavy in the air'

Groups known as Y.C.O and D.S.O have laid claim to the attack that is now thought to have been carried out through the use of some sort of highly advanced, possibly extra terrestrial, sonic weaponry.

They have responded to the incident with the following message - 'The rising hipster population has lead to turgid levels of melodic dilution. In urgent response we, with the help of our other worldly comrades, intergalactic vibe warriors and defenders of the jack - THE DEEP SPACE ORCHESTRA have instigated a cull to reclaim the dancefloors from the chinstrokers, the stationary, the sedentary instafans, handing them back to the jackers, the movers, the freaks and the underground. Y . C . O'.

Welcome Nr.2! Tiefenherz is proud to continue its house release with the
amazing Erfurter Sven U.K. We will get an insight of the soon published new
Album of Sven, who is well known as R:eboerk since 2011.

'Save the Thrill' is the message! Pure thrill - properly placed trumpet will
be carried by sophisticated percussions and complimented by demanding
vocals. Beautiful and forceful house with sensitive and magnetic influences
as well as masterful complementary piano riffs.

'Buster Crabbe & Buck Rogers' is an insperational interpretation of heros of
the 25th century. Buster Crabbe, is also known as the legendary Flash
Gordon, who represents the science-fiction hero Buck Rogers. Buck fights a
number of villains from the mars and the outer space and we get a musical
insight in the task of Buck Rogers. The piece is dominated by the piano and
a thrilling bass line similar to the fight with his arch-rival Killer Kane.
We hope the good will win against the intented world domination of Killer
Kane...

Welcome Nr.2!

Argy returns to Memento after remixing Italys' house stars Pastaboys, this time teaming up with one of the country's hottest and internationally renowned producers, Alex Picone.

The two of them have released on some of the most revered contemporary record labels: from Cocoon to Cadenza, from Defected to Poker Flat, from Ibadan to Bosconi Records, the list goes on.

Their two-tracker opens with 'Eternal Moment': after an epic old-school synth intro, the booming kick drum leads the way to a galloping acid rumble and to an orgy of claps and hi hats, until the vicious vocal snippets welcome the uplifting and joyous melody.

'This Is How It Goes' follows the same path with sick percussions and hi hat's frenzy, while the bass line and the synth play along harmonically. Sudden breaks give a sense of suspended groove, cleverly designed to bring the rhythm back soon after in a burst of energy.

The guys here are showing their impressive skills in crafting this ambitious ep: after just one listen, it's clear how these tunes stand out from the ordinary mess it's more and more likely to find in the market today. With a hint to house music's history and legacy, they have reworked the genre's distinctive features, making them as fresh and cutting edge as they haven't been in a long time.

RON TRENT is back with a dance floor groove with vocals by the man himself. This steady groove is for those who still like to bust a sweat on the dance floor and still look cool. B-side is more of the same but RON takes it a step further with a piano laying down textures that will take you away. HOUSE

For the label's 14th release, Memento welcomes the collaboration of Italy's finest house enthusiasts Pastaboys, who bring their love of dance music's black roots and afro-american soul sounds, combined with an exquisite european-influenced sense of rhythm and melodies. "Tresca" evolves around a sweet italo-disco bass that sends the listener back to the 70s: a soundtrack to a sleazy underground movie, with nightmare-ish synth chords in the background. Strong claps and percussion build the tension up to a Donna Summer-esque break, leading the track to an anthemic climax ready to shake the asses of all the party people out there. Argy's remix adds loopy vocal samples while making the bass more muscular and playing with retro-sounding big-room house synths, perfectly matching the spirit of the original cut but at the same time taking it to the next level. A specta cular two-tracker, which stands out as a devoted tribute to the legacy that shaped the history of house and disco music, from turning inspiration into a brilliant and contemporary piece of work.

New T.P with mixes from Carl Craig and Monty Luke.

Building on the momentum of 2013's two excellent split EPs from Andy Ash/Circular Rhythms and Deep Space Orchestra/Bantam Lions, Scenery Records now serves up a full EP from Liverpool's much loved house and techno inventor, John Heckle.

Remixes come from Dekmantel duo Ksoul & Muteoscillator and MOS alumnus Perseus Traxx.

Having previously remixed twice on the label, Heckle has also turned out full lengths for Chicago's Mathematics and more recently for Tabernacle, as well as popping up with dense, gauzy and hugely textured EP affairs on labels like MOS and Crème Organization.

Up first is the oh so lively 'Laid Away' which has myriad synth lines all squiggling about above jacking, rough edges house beats. Some of them squeal, some of them are smooth and serene and overall the result is a multi-layered track that fires every synapse in your body.

The Perseus Traxx remix of the same track ups the acid ante, smoothes out some of the edges but retains that classic Chicago feel that defines much of his work, whilst Ksoul & Muteoscillator strip everything back to buried deep drums, gentle clattering percussion and a seriously ponderous synth line. It's moody and desolate yet hugely inviting.

'DDT' is a much deeper and murkier affair. Everything comes coated in layers of dirt and dust, be it the sporadic cowbell ping, the scraping percussive smears or the frenzied synth lines. Frankly, the hi hats are so sharp edged you feel they might cut you and the blasts of white noise add yet more layers of intrigue.

There's a rough and raw DIY feel to this music that makes it jump out of the speakers and arrest your attention, as is always the case with Heckle's work.

After a successful year for both Big Strick and Generation Next, they come with the CD album titled 'Like Father Like Son'. Four months after they collaborated on the 'Like Father Like Son' EP , this 10-track masterpiece shows off skills from two eras of dance music on one platform with an array of styles and versatility.

Shenoda steps up to the plate for ManMakeMusic's final offering of 2013.

Having already caught the attention of Matthew Dear, Mattias Tanzamann, Skream and Martyn for with his earlier outings on Defected, Hypercolour and Losing Suki, Shenoda gives us a superb 3 tracker of hefty, garage-infused house.

The EP shows Shenoda's musical gifts alongside first-rate production skills and we predict that it will have many a winter dance shaking to the rafters

Unknown Artist Down You Go EP Rzone009 Rzone € 5.49
Just a year after starting and the irrepressible R-Zone series is up to release number 9. Again this time there is no real word on who is behind the music, but again it is fierce, searing techno for darkened dancefloors. The barrelling, stomping 'Down You Go' opens this EP with blocky metal beats, spares synth lines which bleed in and out of focus and plenty of rattling percussion. 'Give Me More' goes a little slower and deeper, with rubbery kick drums forming the base of the track as molten and melted acid gurgles percolate up through the mix. On the flipside, 'Too Much TV' is a more elastic groove that undulates up and down with short little acid stabs buried deep within as the bass drops in and out. Supple and propulsive, it's arresting stuff that gets completed with final track 'VHC Beats'. Whichever producers are behind the R-Zone series always manages to come up with the goods, so if you like fizzing, textured techno that pulls no punches, this remains the series for you.

Swedish producer HNNY launches the debut release on new label Omena. A totally addictive soul loop riding over a classic Disco beat - simple - devastatingly effective, and positively drenched in some much needed sunshine.
As HNNY says "You can't listen to this while it's raining, it doesn't work like that"
LTD EDITION RECORD STORE DAY RELEASE - 150 Copies only Wartime rations apply

Fresh off of his Son Of Sound releases on Mike Simonetti's New Jersey Records and Basement Floor, Henry Maldonado continues to produce tracks that are true to the New York underground he remembers while producing for a young Strictly Rhythm in 1991.

Delivered here is a debut EP as Son Of Sound on his brand new District 30 imprint. A vinyl exclusive sliced 3-ways in the form of hardware-sampler style looping, Shelter-eque soulful Tech-House and a perfectly unpolished aesthetic revived by the likes of Theo Parrish, Ricardo Miranda and Omar S.

You Brought This On Yourself features 2 mixes (versions here). Version 1 is sure to be regarded as an edit, although the idea actually draws on early sample-based looping tracks such as Pal Joey's Earth People. Intricately chopped samples combine to create unique loops and vocal stabs to deliver the Disco treatment. Version 2 is an underground House stomper with a bumped up tempo. Its driving staccato baseline accentuates the groove and drives the entire theme, working its way nicely into the big room.

Lookie Heeyaa rounds things off nicely with more SP1200 hip-hop style sample chopping. Reminiscent of Maldonado's early House 2 House productions, dirty drums and creatively placed samples come together to create a groove that hypnotizes and moves you all at once.

Geena's Second offer on Parisian Imprint Antinote. 3 introspective house tracks on A side and 3 versions of the same track on B side. This one will stay in your DJ bag for a while for sure.

Obsession Recordings is the new label from DIVA/Matt Didemus, this limited vinyl only four track label sampler features tracks from DIVA, Primitive World (Black Acre), Iron Galaxy & Sexlife (Audio Culture) and Yør (Purple Maze).

if you are going to put out a remix e.p. you might as well go for it...and he has! excellent stuff!

Tis the season to remain anonymous it seems. The guessing games continue here with The Unknown Prankster. We can't tell you who it is, because that would render the artists chosen title useless. And he might be slightly miffed at. If it's even a he....

What you do need to know is that these two tight little magic numbers should not be missed! We'll leave you with the clips so you can make your own mind up..... needless to say, you might recognise one or two things here.

Double A-side single with the vinyl-only 'Zanzibar' by Florian Muller, and for the first time on vinyl, DJ Yellow's 'Tea Time' remix from youngster Cedric Borghi. DJ Yellow remix is doin' it for Deetron, Yvan Smagghe, Peter Horrevorts, Ashley Beedle and more.

New York House music legend Todd Terry on Frole. Originally released on Todd's InHouse Records, "Love Acid" back today with two stunning remixes from Julien Sandre (Hot Waves, Morris Audio) and Dudley Strangeways (Back To You, Leftback).

*This winter Tresor dons hardhat and flashlight once again to exhume more lost treasures
from its stated past. Under the guise of it's own 10-year dormant Archiv Series—which saw cuts from the likes of Robert Hood, Jeff Mills, Blake Baxter and Eddie Flashin' Fowlkes brought back to wax and dancefloors worldwide—comes a reissue EP straight from the heart of the club's former Wertheim department store days, courtesy of long-time resident Juan Atkins.
*On the A-side there's the slow-burning spangled ballad 'I Love You', from his 2004
record 'Fast Forward', while the B-side hosts the '95 version of a stone cold Metroplex classic: 'Techno City', a track so slick it will never go out of style. Sit back and remember the good times, or discover them a-new, all over again.

Though his background is Albanian, Franki Juncaj is Detroit through and through: he was born in the city and grew up in the Hamtramck neighbourhood. He got into techno after being introduced to the once-cherished Submerge store, which was demolished in 20[aI] CD 1-9 | Besa will be Juncaj's first full-length since 2010's Galactic Caravan, an album that spawned a remix package featuring Ben Sims, Alexander Robotnik and Orlando Voorn. As with that record, Besa will come out on DJ 3000's own Motech label, which he's been running since 20

More tracks selected by the Running Back head honcho, Gerd Janson, for our continuing Music For Autobahns series. This 12" includes tracks previously only on the CD release plus some exclusives...varied and roadworthy electronics that can also be used in cycle lanes and footpaths...TIP!
We commissioned Gerd Janson for a collection that starts where previous compilations left off. While Computer Incarnations for World Peace (his compilations for Sonar Kollektiv) concentrated on tipsy new wave music done by jazz-funkers or neo disco-ists, Autobahns has an unintentionally strong leaning towards ambient not-ambient, kraut pleasers and codeine house, i.e. Industrial Ambient and Electrifying New Age. It's all new and exclusive material by people who have crossed paths with the compiler at one time or another.

This sometimes unlikely gathering is hopefully unified by its non-parochial view of dance- and living-room floors, ambient noise and its effectiveness as a soundtrack to long rides up and down the Autobahn.

Epic structured synth driven soundtrack like collab by Helsinki's Stiletti-Ana from Jesse and Sex Tags Ufo's own DJ Fett Burger. Beat-side nearly cosmic on -8 and almost Dutch on +8. Flipside with beatless melodic full side that works just as well on 45 as 33rpm. Both sides surely steady and emotional in the vain of techno, electro and wave culture.

Ealrly JUKE tracks on this classic Chicago label!

Full reissue of the classic track 'On & On' by Jesse Saunders, considered by many as the first house track. Backed with the original rhythm tracks!

Punknown is Orazio Bongiovanni, dj and producer from Italy. His tracks appeared on Jam Traxx Records. Since his childhood Orazio's felt in love with Chicago and Detroit sound. Roland TR 606, 707, 808, 909, Roland TB 303, Juno 106 and Korg M1 are the "weapons" which he uses to create his music. All the vocals are his own recordings, using vocoder and fx. He loves melodies, often introspective and never granted, he loves powerful rhythmics, he loves to transmit his mind and feelings through the music... He loves.... The EP is named as "Heartbeat".... His heart beats for the music!

modern basement jams, looped 70's soul classic's, re-tweaked & well-loved disco anthems
