With Georgi's sinnmusik* debut receiving support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, John Digweed, Joyce Muniz and Shadow Child, label favourite Georgi Barrel returns with another batch of dusty samples and deep, infectious House grooves.

The title track opens things up with full and rounded low-end bubbling under a rich entanglement of crowd noise and soft, rotating sample loops while a healthy selection of real instruments maintain a soft and soulful tone throughout.

First up on remix duties is Frits Wentink - following up releases on Wolf Music and 20:20 Vision, the Dutch native bolsters Late Nite Foray and tucks it into a tighter, more forceful swing using mangled percussive whacks and sportive synth lines to suit it perfectly for brimful dancefloors.

Next up is Denmark based Desos. With releases on his own Deso Records and Berlin's Rawax, his Late Nite Foray revision blends course hats and softened synth tones with resistless and effective bass sequencing.

'Lonely Game' closes up with some arresting vocal snippets and circling synth patterns. A spearing bass stab sits below shuffling hats and a glowing horn sample that puts Georgi's hefty vinyl collection to good use.

Brian Løgstrup (Desos) is a Danish producer, remixer and label owner (Deso
Records) with over 18-years of experience in the music industry.

Brian has toured all across Europe and Denmark and in 2008 he started
producing his own tracks which he successfully released on such labels as:
Sex Panda White, Deso Records, Voltaire Music, Rawax and Tenor Recordings to name a few.
Fritz Wentink Amsterdam based Steve Mensink (Fritz Wentink) is an upcoming artist in the
Dutch house scene and has a great track record of own originals and remixes released on labels such as:

Last year Stockholm based producer HNNY provided us one of the biggest releases on Local Talk to date.
Now he's back with a follow up, Yearning, a straight up jackin' house track to prove he's not just one trick pony.
Dirtytwo got lot's of music planned for 2013 on Local Talk. First up is a remix of HNNY's 'For The Very First Time'. This particular version started out as a secret weapon which they guys used in the liveset.
Mats & Tooli heard it and decided that their version had to be released. Simply put, the Dirtytwo Midas Touch version is pure gold.

The inimitable Swiss duo L'N'F gear up for action once more here on Leo Leal's Unike Muzik imprint, as they join forces with the label head himself for the quite brilliant sounds of the The Cellar EP. Dark and broody but with a firm dancefloor persuasion, the EP is one that very much plays to the strengths of all involved.
Easing in the EP is the assured strands of the title-number, a nimble and boisterous wedge of peak-time house. Stuffed full of canny vocals and an unrelenting bassline emphasis, it saunters at a furious pace thanks to its heightened snares and undoubted groove. Most thankfully, it's full of suspense and emotion too.
French producer Julian M scrubs up the original thanks to a deft cowbell and even more funky pastures, before Kindimmer's Punchin Around Remix toes the line between techno and house with serious aplomb, re-sulting in the sort of heads-down anthem that's easy to fall for. The final calling card is '''93'', another effort that looks back in its search for kicks. With enticing melodies leading the charge, it signs off on the EP with the sort of expert touch we've come to expect from all involved. It's another quite brilliant Unike release.

'NSM002 is me, Mosca, again. Two not-house not-techno tracks, a little more raw and textured than my last 12" but with the same emphasis on dark, sexy grooves and just enough dissonance and freakiness.

The Greyhounds is a dubby rolling thing with an indulgent breakdown that I wondered about scrapping. I ended up backing myself because the crowds I played it to seemed happy, and I've wanted to use those strings for eleven years now. I tried to make Clinical Trial for the basement clubs, dust and metal and tape. Thanks for checking it out.'

Other People is excited to announce Solpara's Swing EP, the debut solo release by New York born and based artist Paul Sara. Paul recently returned to his New York base after spending five years in Montreal studying, working, and composing. There, he co-founded Booma Collective with Oren Ratowsky and Valentin Stip, a local group of musicians and sound artists, as well as a music label. Swing is a sort of summation of Paul's time in Montreal and his first full solo release outside of Booma. For Paul, Swing is movement, sound, and hypnosis. That fine, affective modulation, as present in a drum machine or a drummer's hand, plays a role. But so too does Paul's memory of winter sessions in Booma's studio (ironically named 'The Furnace'), where he and his friends had to swing their bodies back and forth to keep warm. The five tracks on Swing evoke warmth within cold, cavernous spaces. 'Descent' begins the EP with a one synth panning and undulating quietly left and right before the drop of a gentle, knowing beat. Next, 'Swing' bursts open with a tremendous kick looming over tumultuous layers of bass frequency filigreed by glowing chords. The gruff, calloused percussion of 'Vitamin C' sounds like its rattling inside the case of a grenade. And 'Short Circuit,' the longest track here and an awesome demonstration of polyrhythmic capacity, doubles as jagged sound sculpture. 'Seahorses' ends the EPlike it began — a single synth swaying to and fro.

Strut return to the archives of seminal Chicago house label Dance Mania in January 2015 for 'Dance Mania: Ghetto Madness'. The follow-up to Strut's acclaimed Dance Mania label retrospective 'Hardcore Traxx' from early 2014, this new instalment places the spotlight on the raw, stripped back, hyper bpms of ghetto house and the rise of the movement's fresh generation of stars during the mid'90s including DJ Deeon, DJ Funk, Jammin' Gerald and DJ Milton.

The album tells the story of the evolution of Chicago's sound during the era as mix tapes circulated through local stores and DJs developed their own underground following, playing local parties in the projects. Crowds began responding to faster bpms and gangsta rap-inspired X-rated lyrics. As DJ Deeon remembers, 'it bridged the gap. It made it OK for guys in the ghetto to like house again and it brought the women onto the dancefloor too.' Dance Mania was perfectly positioned to capitalise on the new sound - many of the DJs came regularly into Ray Barney's record store and, as Chicago's most trusted and respected label owner, he was offered the best tracks for commercial release at an early stage.

'Ghetto Madness' brings together some of the underground classics and enduring favourites that earned Dance Mania the title of 'Ghetto House's Motown'. Tracks include DJ Deeon's party-starter 'The Freaks', raw DJ Funk cut 'Computer Sex' and Nina Kraviz favourite, Paul Johnson's 'Give Me Ecstacy'. Other featured gems from the archive include the dark early Steve Poindexter outing 'Computer Madness' and Tyree's in-demand jam, 'Nuthin' Wrong'.

'Dance Mania: Ghetto Madness' will be released in 1CD unmixed, 2LP and digital formats. Physical formats are fully illustrated in raw ghetto style by James Wilson and also feature CD a fold-out poster featuring an exclusive James Wilson illustration featuring the Dance Mania DJs as tattoos!

Steve Lee's (The Project Club) ABOVE MACHINE label returns with a superb 12 from The Vendetta Suite, the brainchild of Gary Irwin - Belfast resident and long-term collaborator with David Holmes.
Irwin's inspiration comes from Weatherall's seminal A Love from Outer Space and Belfast's early '90s Sugar Sweet nights.
Irwin creates two pieces both in thrall to the Keeping the Faith Balearic scene.Additional remixes are provided by disco aficionado Ray Mang (DFA) and Nottingham's heavy dub brothers Shrinkwrap.
Above Machine are heading straight for the dance floor on this release...

Finally, emotion-lade, you end up back in the here and now.As the third track on the EP - Ella' convinces with a straightforward line right from the start, and ends by leaving the listener with the day-dream calmness of a sunny autumn day.
With his remix of - 2605', Filburt delivers a skillful and as always laid-back reinterpretation with references to the eighties and the intention to continue moving people today.

Legendary Miami duo Oscar G and Ralph Falcon's Murk label has always been a sign of quality for House heads all over the world.
Their distinctive productions have re-shaped the sound of deep House since the very early 90's and they released some of the most sought after House 12"s throughout this period under numerous psuedonyms.

"Classics Vol.2" is one of these releases, collecting 4 classics from the Murk vaults including the original mix of the deep, dark anthem "Outta Limits" alongside the "Vocal Dub" mix, the storming vocal cut "Release Yourself" and the after hours piano driven groove of "We're Going Deep".

This is the first full-EP from Denmark's Erosion Flow aka Henrik Koefed having made his first appearance on wax at the end of 2013 with his his spaced-out edit of Next's "Too Close".

This record, ManMakeMusic's first release of 2014, pitches the breadth of Koefod's sound - running swinging, gritty house against grime-infused 4/4 and off-beat electronica.

Archetypal Detroit electro techno taken to the next level by Mr Bernardi on Burek sub label Barba. Barba shows its nasty side after the first and very nice and sweet LD Nero release. Bernardi delivers a double album worth of ideas, spread among 2 releases. The first half of the release is very much in the robots-having-an-argument rather than the peaceful-cosmic-journey vein. The tracks feature abrupt changes, stabbing asymmetrical rhythms, multiple layers of sound and a darker moodier feel. Opening track "Picture painters" is the brightest and liveliest of the three, driven by a classic undulating electro bassline with lots of room to groove within it. Bernardi gradually adds on more and more frenetic elements that push the track (and the right crowd) to ever higher levels of jerky intensity. "Sweet little cheeky" has a similar underpinning but is developed into a much more 4/4 rhythmwith dramatic changes in mood and emphasis to keep it interesting. Finally "Porcelain Candy" offers something rather different with a harsher, less fluid sound as Bernardi's machines are pushed to their rhythmic and sonic limits. Frantic techno for the freaks!

The Invariants is a brand new label and production project from Amsterdam. The first release contains four tracks recorded in the fall of 2012. The new DIY label looks set to become a firm favourite with connoisseurs of the deep everywhere. The opening track of the debut EP is a wide-open bit of ambient soundscaping. Distant muffled voices, lush pads that stretch and smear in soothing, cerebral ways and sombre synths all make it a magical opener. The A2 is similar in its smooth textures but is underpinned by a warm, rubbery, thudding kick drum that propels things along at an inviting pace. The pads are just as emotive and serene, though, initially sounding insular and sorry for themselves before a little light and optimism does come in in the latter stages. On the flip, B1 is a much slower and lazier affair: crisp but icy hi hats are as far apart as the drums. Rippling chords roll in the foreground and a slowly emerging sense of groove gets fleshed out with richly reverbing claps and rising pads. Seriously moody stuff, the EP gets finished in real style by the deep, whacked out and mid tempo electro groove of the B2. Humid but run through with frazzled synths, there is plenty of pain as well as hopefulness in the tracks The Invariants create. On this evidence, this is a project that knows just how much is enough to really stimulate mind, body and soul.

Environ boss Morgan Geist returns to his love for Detroit techno, Chicago tracks and generally exceptional dancefloor music with the first in a new series of EPs: Megaprojects 1.

In his own words: 'I chose the name 'Megaprojects' for this series partly because I am inspired and fascinated by imposing, surreal engineering and architecture: giant hydroelectric dams, soaring bridges and strange-­-looking, exposed-­-concrete government buildings. I also found the irony of such a grandiose name for this series amusing, considering megaprojects are by definition large-­-scale, high-­-tech and costing billions of dollars, whereas this is a collection of carefully-­-made but low-­-tech tracks, created with cheap little drum machines and rejected old synths.'
