Featuring two album exclusives: On-U Sound's cosmic fla-menco dub of Los Twangueros and a Breese remix of Robot 84 that brings Spanish guitars firmly to the fore. Digital exclusives too; Quinn Luke's 'Different Aspirations' offers 'I-know-this' familiarity, Emerson Kitamura covers 70s classic 'Rock Your Baby' in lullaby style, while Max Manetti's 'Changuinola' winks back towards the Happy Mondays circa 1989. Other highlights include Gallo's 'Faron' - currently proving the sunset bomb with Ibiza DJs; J-Walk's modern remake of Maze's 'Twilight'; Fuga Ronto's Rework of Kay Zee's 'Barny' as a modern-day down-tempo beauty, plus Joe Morris' 'Skies Reprise', which carries the mood dreamily off into the night. A dozen true pearlers, each one confident and ready to take their place amongst any quality collection.

Following the success of 'Edgewater Towers' earlier this year, Albrecht La'Brooy show their darker side in the latest release from Analogue Attic Recordings.Somber and brooding at times, hard-hitting at others, 'Eventide' stays true to the Analogue Attic aesthetic whilst exploring themes and sounds of the evening.
Another beauty from this fine Aussie import

Three years ago, a long-overdue and much-anticipated debut album from Let's Play House co-head Jacques Renault finally hit shelves, and now, the follow-up effort, the sophomore swing, arrives. If Zentrum was a sprawling and aspirant full-length, BK Club Beats, Breaks & Versions is an exacting and focused rejoinder, a powerful, punchy, and succinct exposition of Renault's skills and fortes. It's a deep-dive into the movements that sucked him into club music and a celebration of the inspirations that fueled his ascendance to DJ and producer in his own right. What we give you here is an album of originals that have been conceived, orchestrated, and stitched together to function as a classic Renault peak-hour set classic house sounds sandwiched between hip-hop breaks and disco licks, all glued into place with his trademark full-bodied, colorful, swinging drums. The A-side has a daytime glimmer and glisten to it, a sunniness that imparts it with a distinct top-down-crisscross-through-the-city flavor. The flip is just as pumped and uptempo, but it has a rounder bottom and feels murkier, steamier, and, by extension, more late-night. But the overarching achievement here is how Renault has crafted an album that's mood-agnostic; it's articulated with dancefloor language, but it's not beholden to the dancefloor. A satisfying, fulfilling journey that begins and ends with semicolons rather than exclamations or question marks. It takes off and descends determinedly and invites the option of there being a sequel, an epilogue, an encore, while not necessitating one. When it's all over, you'll ask yourself what's next and then realize it's the A1.

Steve Cobby and Laurie Welton are both from Hull in the north of England. Cobby is one of the members of the pioneering electronic outfit Fila Brazillia while Welton is the man behind the Myth! project, whose "False Profits" EP was released last year on Posthuman's Balkan Recordings label. In fact, Cobby has known Welton's aunt for 20 years and Laurie has been a fan of Fila Brazillia since the early '90s. So when Laurie was asked by Steve to collaborate with him, he jumped at the chance.
The fruits of their collaboration are the three tracks on the "Absolute" EP. This release is truly an international affair; the label, Adam Warped's Whiskey Pickle imprint, is based in Austin, Texas, the artists are from the UK, while a remix of "Absolute" comes courtesy of New Yorkers Whatever/Whatever, a duo staffed by Bryan Mette and legendary NY DJ, producer and remixer Justin Strauss.

Bitter End continue to forge a path that's entirely their own, with another in the limited pre-release series...
'Vibrating James' on side A, Makes a funky foundation from the psilocybin soaked bones of the king of soul, and then liberally layers up some chest caving low end. Utterly irresistible and already the cause of many a 'moment' in the worlds finest cathedrals of escape
On the flip we get some buried treasure in the shape of 'The House' a nostalgic romp through a bitter/sweet early 90's style piano anthem that marries Bologna's finest formaggio to some good old fashioned bass from the drop Forgio
Once again Bitter End rips up the rule book, and crafts a whole set of new, better ones in which freedom reigns
Light years ahead !

This one is for people who like the real disco tools. For dudes who love the style of DJ Harvey, Prins Thomas or Todd Terje. For DJ's that want the girls to dance. Toy Tonics lead honcho Black Loops teamed up with italo-spanish DJ Innocent Soul in his Berlin studio. Do we have to introduce Black Loops Not really: He started his career on Toy Tonics three years ago. Meanwhile did 5 EPs on the label - including his main club hit SEX (that was one of the 50 most sold House tracks on Beatport in 2016). Innocent Soul is a young Italian living in Barcelona where he is a quite established kid in the nightlife scene. Vittorio Rinaldi his name. He is resident DJ at Space Music Garden project and resident for the Modular project at City Hall. Like Black Loops he is not really innocent. At least if it comes to music. He is a huge lover and collector of disco, afro, black, raw and house music vinyl. You can hear the influences in this EP for sure. Rollin'. This EP is a bomb.

For our fourth we are pleased to welcome Russia's Denis Kolomensky to the Clandestino family.
Denis is part of a collective of Moscovian DJ's, producers and promoters throwing interesting parties in the cities Simachev Shop & Bar and Dewar's Powerhouse venues. When Denis sent us his demo's, we knew they were a perfect fit for the Clandestino ethos.
'Recovery' opens with a lively conga section, snappy snares and a classic Detroit-style drum sequence takes hold while emotive pads elevate.
Man of the moment Felix Dickinson ramps up his remix and turns in a modern jack track by intensifying the bass, introducing firing drums and darker pads.
'Santa Monica' takes a slower pace; gentle sunset chords complement marimba hits and atmospheric key stabs. Balearic Gabba Sound System's stunning rework is an extended blissed out reinterpretation; adding a dreamy female vocal over heart wrenching synths

Reigniting the long-standing creative partnership between Greg Wilson and Kermit Leveridge, Super Weird Substance was formed in 2014 on the back of their inspired collaboration on the 'Blind Arcade Meets Super Weird Substance In The Morphogenetic Field' mixtape. Building on this momentum, 2015 saw Super Weird Substance return with 8x12" vinyl and a CD compilation, exhibiting an original sound best described as balearicpsychedelicdubdisco.
Alongside the music, the label has also turned its attention to a series of events known as Super Weird Happenings, taking the sixties-styled gatherings to 5 stops around the country in 2014, hosting a memorable day by the estuary at Festival No.6 in 2015 and assembling the behemoth 14 Hour Super Weird Happening at Liverpool's Florrie in 2017.
Having worked on another sample-based mixtape last year, 'Alan Moore's Mandrill Meets Super Weird Substance At The Arts Lab Apocalypse', alongside a few new recordings, Super Weird Substance will see a more focused return to original recordings in 2018.

'I Want To Be With You...But Sometimes Life Becomes Too Real...I Want To See The Things In My Heart I Know I Feel'.
The opening track is a love song written from the perspective of the camera, asking to be held up to see the world through the eyes of its user. Chromatics' dense electronics are anchored by the intimacy of Ruth Radelet's vocals. Framed by negative space, this is pop music from the blurry hours. She softly sings, 'I write a song in my head, pretend that I'm lying in your arms'. The music is minimal & bare, layered with sparse percussion. The Camera EP features unreleased material, including a haunting take on Dear Tommy's title track & the midnight mood of 'Flashback To Forever'.

The world of B. is like a giant disco ball, where she likes to dance all around and meet some friends to share some music : Roger Thornhill gave classic disco perfection, Hysteric sent a letter from the far east, or maybe from Italy, Turbo Boom-Boom chewed a funky bubblegum song to make a housy rolling track and Baerlz reworked a boogie track, just what it needed to have the righteous construction for the dancefloor.

In 1982, a group of friends deep into post-punk, jazz and dub got together in Mad Professor's studio and lay down their youthful interpretation of a NYC disco cut. Their unique take included trombone, vibraphone, piano, and an ital dose of tape delay. They called the song Trouble and released two versions (vocal and dub) on their friend Tony McDermott's !Drum! label with artwork inspired by Russian Constructivism. TIP!
.
The group, comprised of Justin Langlands, Chrysta Jones, John Schofield, Tom Dixon, and Dave Killen, decided to call themselves A-Team, having no idea that Mr.T and Co. would make them almost totally ungoogle-able 30 years later. The result of their adolescent studio idealism sounds akin to otherdisco misfits like Arthur Russell, Maximum Joy, Talking Drums and wouldn't sound out of place on legendary NYC label 99 Records. Remastered with an extended Club Dub formaximum dance-floor action.

Kampana's debut release was a global hit across the house, disco and tropical scene, with support from heavyweights such as Francois K, Soul Clap and Gilles Peterson. The label is back just in time for summer with three more doses of peak time fire from Aroop Roy, who has gained a fine reputation for the quality and widespread appeal of his releases. 'You Say' is a funk-fuelled number with gritty retro vocals and guitar, driven by a warm disco groove and 80s arp-synth. The feel-good vibes gradually build into an anthemic floor-filling climax.'Taj Mahal' reworks a Brazilian classic into a full on house workout, reminiscent of Roy's popular series on Gamm. 'Mapora' is an original number that will blend well into both deep house and afro-centric sets. The track builds nicely with filtered samples and syncopated vocals, coming in with an infectious highlife guitar line and late night synth stabs, to get mind and body moving

Fresh from wowing us with that crazy limited promo 45, Krikor Kouchian delivers 11 tracks of expertly executed, shimmering boogie funk. BIG TIP!
.
Think of the neon lights of the boulevard or a late nite drive through the lonely hills, Krikor Kouchian's "Pacific Alley" propels you to a world of sleaze and excitement, where passion, money, and illicit substances take precedent and the sun beats down in a relentless unforgiving fashion.
Spending time as a youth in Southern Cailifornia, the French-born Kouchian developed an obsession with this Americana and the magic of everything California. The music on the radio, from pop, to funk, to hip hop fueled his impressionable mind, later on taking influence in his own music.
Pacific Alley is a snapshot of this lost period, full of juicy low slung basslines, slow bpm cruisers, Linn drum crashes, and ride or die melodies. The elements all meld together through this 11 track lp, it's equal parts uplifting and melancholic, downtrodden, yet not without rays of light; the soundtrack for days hanging in front of the corner stores and nights on the strip, both a naive love affair and backstabbing doublecross.
This is boogie funk for the grift, a dollar here buys a bottle there so step into the shade, pop the tape in the deck and enter into the concrete dreamworld.

Coming out in late July from the man who brought you E Ruscha V's "Who Are You" to great acclaim earlier this year is Secret Circuit's 2nd EP for Invisible Inc, the cryptically titled "Out Of Body Interiors".Featuring four exclusive new tracks of the acid drenched, dubbed out, tropical disco variety Mr Ruscha, as always, delivers a sonic palette you won't find on many other imprints: from the turbo-charged homage to early 90s bleep meets indie rave euphoria of Stomping Ground, through the chugging, motorik groove of Crazy Ways which sounds like it's blasting out full volume from a smoke-filled Space Patrol hovercar gone rogue then flipping over to side B and waking up in Mali, Andromeda in a haze of syncopated percussion, other-worldly guitar licks and a billion new synthetically generated sounds that you may strongly suspect you just imagined.....to finally The Feather Drop which brings entirely new meaning to the word deep and which fires technicolour sounds of profoundly immense variety at the synapses at a rate of knots not many other producers can keep up with as all the while the bass holds court and keeps things deep rooted and dub heavy. Secret Circuit (aka Eddie Ruscha V) has had a plethora of releases on an equally expansive plethora of labels under such names as The Parels (Lal Lal Lal), Blasé (ESP Institute), Food Of The Gods/Laughing Light Of Plenty (Whatever We Want), Odd Numbers ('No' Label), Shadow Kids (El Diablo's Social Club) and of course as Secret Circuit (Beats In Space, Emotional Response and Invisible, Inc.)

Australia based artist Inkswel is widely known for his funk infused dance music that incorporates ingenious sample work and memorable vocal cuts. For the ninth installment of the PULP series the 'Edible Pyramid EP' is a journey through the mind of the Australian artist. The package includes a melancholic remix by no one else than long time champion of vinyl and Red Motorbike label boss Eddie C, 'Edible Pyramid' is a work of positivity, the title track excels in it's blissful ambiance that is supported by a back bone of thumping rhythms and jovial vocal cuts. The Eddie C Remix is showcasing a wistful approach by incorporating a rhythm that is reminiscent of those from the early days of Hip hop. 'Let Go' is a confident sounding work of samples. Rhythmically firm with an emotive break that is a welcome change from the slow base-rhythm that flows throughout.
On the B side The Posse comes up with a remix that cleverly incorporates oozing synth pads and a more upbeat vibe. The original is flipped into a more dancefloor friendly version with an acidic touch to it. The final track is called 'Yesterdays Flava of The Month' this boogie tainted cut uses tasty breaks and lively pads that again depict a positive atmosphere.
PULP09 - Inkswel - Edible Pyramid EP will be available from all specialized retailers starting June 2018.
