After making an initial debut on our sister label OFFPath a few years back we knew it was only a matter of time before we welcomed them to the parent label with a full EP. Known for their raw analog sound this EP delivers exactly that. Punchy kicks, snappy claps and crisp hi hats are a staple throughout, interwoven with distinctive synth lines and infectious percussion elements. Label owner Niko Maxen rounds things off with a slick remix.

Unknown Assailant is a limited run vinyl only label shrouded in mystery. Each of the four tracks on this second release touches on a different style of techno/deep tech, ranging from the timeless sound of the Detroit inspired “Ancient Beauty” to the peak time energy and in-your-face style of “Rude Awakening”.

It also incorporates the dark and stripped-back minimal style of “Isolated Mechanics” plus the trippy atmosphere and dystopian vibe of “How Has It Come To This”.

Unknown Assailant is a secretive artist who lets the music do the talking, and all four of the tracks on this release are solo productions from the illusive producer. Striking from the shadows to showcase an eclectic range of dancefloor focused techno/deep tech that orientates around raw grooves with machine driven sounds, this vinyl only release cuts straight to the heart of the dancefloor.

This release is limited to a vinyl pressing of only 200 copies with the previous release picking up support by artists ranging from Gerd to Arnaud Le Texier.

"Retrospect X anniversary release - Reshaping the 70s, 80s, & 90s with the sounds of now."

DumitrEscu, a Romanian DJ based in London who previously released EPs, among other names, on Priku’s Atipic Records, is the latest name to grace de Particular project.


His style blends in perfectly with Particular vision and you can hear this from the first track. The mesmerizing background noises are in sync with some lovely but haunting atmospheric sounds that accompany a powerful bassline to drive away the listener into a state of perfect bliss.


On the second track, which is fittingly called Mezmerizing Soul, DumitrEscu shows off some impressive skills in building a track that can’t really be described as a club banger, but rather a perfect afterhours jam that will hypnotize listeners on the dancefloor.


Next up is Synthesia, a wonderful but pragmatic track which slowly but surely evolves into a lovely tune that is carefully constructed by the author. The end result is a superbly complex exploration into DumitrEscu’s creative mindset. Daniel Broesecke’s remix adds just the right touch for it to be blasted through the dancefloor so that people can get their feet moving.

Heading up the release is golden era tech house tastemaker, Jay Tripwire with three original cuts, whilst Alex Arnout features with an unreal remix. Kicking things off with a killer wonked out groove is “Jaybee Loves Old Shit”, a nostalgic nod to the early noughties, punchy drum patterns combining with a cruising bass line, perfect party starting sounds from one of the finest do it. “For Nathan” sees Tripwire assert his animated vibe once more, liquid-like emotions pouring out the seams but still maintaining a distinct drive.

As we hit the B side the title track begins to lean into more tripped out territory, sub heavy wobbling bass lines conversing with the crisp broken minimalistic drums. Intelligently arranged as each and every detail is placed intricately to create a hypnotic tension. Rounding off the EP is Alex Arnout’s remix of “The Omen”. Dropping it on its head as he crafts a more direct version of the track, utilising the transcending vocals and allowing them to converse with the elasticated groove.

Discotech continues on their upward trajectory with this versatile EP, simultaneously with their highly anticipated events going hand in hand with the extensive catalogue of the label, whether that be vinyl or their digital offshoot.

Bare Bones Wax presents release number two on their vinyl only label, this time enlisting an artist who is making waves on the scene, Carlo Gambino. Some of Carlo’s previous vinyl outings have been on established labels such as Cinthie’s We R House, Okain’s Ball Park, Frank Roger’s Real Tone and Ewax Editions while gaining support from heavyweight DJ’s such as Raresh, Silverlining and Matt Tolfrey, amongst many others. With future wax releases slated for labels One of 4, Discotech, 3AM, Echoes of Glory and Audio Analysts over the coming year, you could say he is a man in demand! Here he supplies two original tracks with a remix of each from Goshawk and David Moran respectively.



Kicking off the EP is the first original track from Carlo titled “You and Me”. A modern deep feel and catchy vocal make this track a real killer. Goshawk (Half of deep house legends Rhythm Plate) serves up a tough underground remix of “You and Me” with an American influence for the A2 track. Over on the flip Carlo’s second original composition is “Get Back”. Sitting firmly in the deep house camp but with minimal elements and cut up vocals it purveys a killer groove. Finishing off the EP is the David Moran remix which is a full on dancefloor destroyer. Jacking beats, vocal snippets and a heavy bassline work a treat to finish off the EP.

Ecstatic Editions is the new label by Eris Drew. Due to changes in the industry, the cost of production, and the wait times for manufacturing, the renowned vinyl-only deejay laments not having more of her favorite producers’ music on vinyl, so she decided to start a label for special vinyl editions, as well as archival releases. The first volume of Ecstatic Editions is an anthology of work previously unavailable on vinyl by the Xi’an-born and Toronto-based musician, Ciel. Her work was the impetus of the label because many of her amazing productions, collaborations and remixes have never been pressed to vinyl. As a producer, DJ, pianist and radio presenter, Ciel’s work is not only prolific and compelling, it involves an international network of individuals, labels, projects and artists; a musical meeting-place of positive intentions and creative interactions. This volume is needed not only because it makes these incredible original productions and remixes available to vinyl DJs, enthusiasts and collectors for the first time, but also because it tells a cohesive story, in a physical object, of an artist with a truly unique rhythmic, melodic and psychedelic style.

After almost a year of waiting we are happy to add 004 into our catalogue. Proudly adding Ema Remedi to the roster. A friend and U series family member since the beginning, a hugely creative individual who started as the creative designer for the U series brand. ‘The Field’ EP is a strong two tracker, elegant and emotive.

Analog Concept adds a premium 6th entry to the label catalogue from Russia's electro and acid connoisseur, the always talented Low Tape. Liquid, Seamless, and Lush is the order of the atmosphere in the aptly titled Lost Heaven EP. The title track Lost Heaven is a refreshing audio journey filled with smooth electro rhythms, sparkling acid leads and basslines, and therapeutic pads pushing the groove and cerebral modes to the max. The remix from veteran producer John Beltran is just as fun with his take on the story, including some silky hats and snares, mind nourishing synths, and a confident acid bassline for a good time. The track has a very interesting ending.

Jay Tripwire and Cristi Cons team up for WH003, with a collaboration that came to be during the lockdown. Being longtime fans of each others music the 2 decided to start on some studio projects together. This EP and a collab remix on Curtea Veche are the starting point for these 2 icons to begin working together. Zingiber Audio is back with its 11th vinyl. This time, it’s Under The Radar trio from Porto who is on release duty. The 3 Djs and producers are well known in Portugal and are currently spinning at Lottus Afterhours as residents. The relationship with Zingiber Audio started back in 2020 with the digital release « 4 more Ep », followed by the 1st series of tapes « Selected Works », which showed the Portuguese skills as producers.

In 2023, they bring 3 tracks for the dance floors on this vinyl with the French veterant Dj and producer Terence :Terry: who gives an organic breaky minimal house touch to his remix of « Lift ». Jack’s House welcomes new artist Mills to the label with his energetic Empad EP.

Mills is an underground DJ/producer who lives full time on the island of Ibiza, a place he feels most at home when it comes to being creative. He has built up a cool following making a subliminal noise, and also launched his own successful event called Uno Mas last summer.

A1. The title track Empad, already demonstrates some Spanish influences and has been test driven throughout the summer of 2022 at several clubs including the infamous DC10 for Carl Cox invites. This deep original tech driven track with occasional sub bass wobbles thrown in, just seems to pick up the dance floor whenever it is dropped. A true winner.

A2.Ohh has an underground carnival vibe to it with some reversed deeply spoken vocals accompanied by lots of fills and small military drum shots driven by it’s solid kick that drives the track in and out of a couple of breakdowns.

B1. Nerds is a fast paced busy track with tight hats travelling over a bubbling baseline. The fills and noises throughout this track come with more disguised spoken vocals and are what really give this track it’s signature. Another one that drives the dance floor

B2. Fari offers more underground carnival influences with a dirty snare and a deep riding baseline pattern. The limited vocal snippets that jump in from time to time and excellent drums, make this track what it is.

German label Bondage Music delivers the ninth instalment of its ‘Bondage Games’ series. Another vinyl only release, this time with four fresh tracks from Mihai Popoviciu, Pornbugs & Cristina Lazic, NTFO and Rhadow.

The Fourier Transform White Label series aims to release vinyl-only various artist EP's and access the feeling of dissappearing into a record shop, finding a mysterious white label and not knowing who had made the music on it. Each EP will have 4 different artists on which will be listed (but not on the label), however you will not know who has made each track without listening to the music and then filling in the info sheet. We think the styles are all distinguishable, however you may need to do some investigation and check the other artists releases. The info sheet also has a crossword to keep you busy whilst you listen to the tracks and make your choice.

The first EP contains deep melodic music from co label owners inkipak and The Vast Profound, as well as ReKaB and Rai Scott. Panna Cotta Music as MixCult Records sublabel returns with the second vinyl release with a virtuosic display of melodic musicianship. It’s a four track EP that wiggles around spatiality and blissful atmospheres. Joss, Ilya Schulz, Etzu Mahkayah and Gjidoda Jr. definitely come and hold many dubby techno wonders in this release.

Label head Enzo Siragusa teams up with Archie Hamilton and Subb-an for the 'Archenzubann EP'.

The debut release of Pola / Пола record label, founded as an extension of the Half club in Belgrade, which became one of the most prominent hotspots of underground music and culture in Serbia. The Owl Dance EP is composed and produced by Tijamara, the new electronic music duo formed by sisters Tijana and Tamara Ristić, with one remix by the eminent producer Alexis Cabrera.

The A-side is opened by the track Sisters, which is the introduction to Tijamara's world, filled with the contrasts of their personalities. The track Owl Dance will take you on a journey to their birthplace Kikinda, the small town in the north of Serbia, which has the largest long-eared owl roost in the world.

The B-side is dedicated to their Romanian roots and great-grandmother Rakila, after whom they named the track. The deep and wavy minimal sound, inwrought with Tamara's unique stylized singing, will make you feel the spirit of Banat prairie. Maestro Alexis Cabrera remixed this track and converted it into the Half's vibe of the rising Sun.

Ki.Mi. is back with a new foursome. As always carefully selected two brand new tracks and two fresh edits of already legendary tracks. Be careful not to miss this record.

Memory Remains boss Kirik joins forces with Miami’s Imbue for their collaborative ‘On Distance’ EP.

This time Kirik pairs up with the Miami-based trio Imbue who add their dynamic instrumentation to the project through guitars, piano, and synthesizer improvisation.

Opening the release is the jazzy funk-infused ‘On Distance’, laid out across seven minutes with an amalgamation of guitar licks and looped hooks alongside plucked bass tones, strings and organic rhythms combined to create a psychedelia-tinged twist on House. ‘All Right’ follows next and shifts gear into a more classic house feel, employing Latin percussion and wandering keys alongside guitar melodies and soulful vocal chants.

Opening the flip-side is ‘Lovers’ with its acid bass groove, intricately intertwined synth stab sequences and crisp drums all underpinned by Imbue’s hypnotic musicality. ‘Son Us On’ then rounds out the release, diving deeper into the House courtesy of bumpy low-slung drums, airy synth chimes and plucked guitars merged with an underlying dubbed-out and subtly unfurling feel.

In the summer of 1989, when Trevor Miller’s Trip City was first released with a five-track cassette EP by A Guy Called Gerald, there had been no other British novel like it. This was the down and dirty side of London nightclubs, dance music and the kind of hallucinogenic drug sub-culture that hadn’t really been explored since Tom Wolfe’s The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test. Maybe this is why Trip City is still known as “the acid house novel” and an underground literary landmark.

But for 2021, Trip City is back and the original soundtrack by A Guy Called Gerald is also being reissued and all five tracks will be available on vinyl for the first time. The Trip City soundtrack on vinyl is only available as a bundle with the book in a special Trip City tote bag.
