Ciprian Stan joins Sonet Music for their 3rd outing and this London based Romanian does not disappoint. After recent outings on Pool House,Yarn Records, Piano Forest and Music Is Art, his Sonet EP sees him in top form.

Channels opens the EP with a consistent low end groove, combining quirky samples and clever percussion with the right level of energy to keep interest on the dance floor.

Next up is Some X Some Y which from the outset has a killer groove and bass line, with plenty of attention given to its clever drum programming, a great track which will fit in any club room.

Planks with it's haunting synths and hypnotic elements will suit sets later into the night.

Several Times has a typical Romanian sound and gets a little more quirky with it's unbalanced feel, the drums are on point here with a sublime tommy low end.

This is an appetizer : 4 “club” mixes of new tracks from Joakim’s forthcoming album Second Nature,all re-mixed by the man himself, navigating between hypnotic Techno, trance-inducing Downtempo
and percussive New Beat.
This is probably Joakim’s most ambitious project so far. An album about our relationship to Nature to make it short or how Western civilization disconnected Nature from Culture. Every song was born
using field recordings as a basis canvas, the sounds of Nature are the lead voice here. A nature that is transformed, sublimized, questioning our ideas of what’s artificial, what’s the wilderness, the place of humans in the age of the Anthropocene and painting a psychedelic landscape to open our ears and our hearts.
The artwork features a lenticular print (2 images in 1) showing Naruto, a monkey who took a selfie using a photographer’s camera who later tried to claim the copyright of that image. That claim raised questions whether copyright can be extended to “non-humans” and was ultimately rejected by the U.S. Copyright Office who specifically listed 'a photograph taken by a monkey' as an example of an item that cannot be copyrighted.

Our 6th record is a rather special affair featuring tracks by The Spooks, Marc Heun & Tidy Daps.
Heun heads up the A side with heavy drums and melting keys across both versions of Freqiem.

Slow and dirty with more than a nod to the breathtaking original.

Long time label contributors Tidy Daps get their first taste of wax with Hear The Heart. A bouncy peak time affair with epic piano line that’s sure to move the floor.

Until today the idea of equality, unity, love, and respect is a widespread set of principles for the rave culture which developed out of house and retained a foothold on the underground scene but also across it´s borderlines all over the globe. The new NBAST Sub-label “We Must Protect This House” is a homage to the ethos of the Paradise garage and to the early days of house music, to Chicago and New York and the music culture itself with a more grown up approach … but with the same distinctive spirit as #datsoulthang

Here's a new episode from Pit Spector's unique live label concept. This time Narcotic Syntax join forces with him to present a space cruise EP for a dance travel.

Conceiving a new concept that pulls together production and performance, Pit Spector threw a series of Prospector parties since 2014. For each soiree he invites a guest artist to his studio to work on exclusive live shows for the club as well as on new music for the label. In 2015, Pit invited musical Jedi Yapacc and James Dean Brown for a Parisian residency in his studio, and now they release the fruits of their labour.

During this session, the band recorded hours of hardware improvisation, merging their musical skills to present a full-live EP. Mixed at Yapacc's Berlin studio, the record sums up a narcotic sense of music devoted both to melody and groove.

The A-side presents a strong, dubby dance tune combining a vibrating, techno-related flow with soulful vocals to result in an elastic astral journey.

B1 opens the space for floating harmony to make way for a love song that's perfect to start a DJ set, a romantic affair, or for enjoying a starry sky.

B2 reflects perfectly the synergy between Narcotic Syntax and Pit Spector with its evolving beats and hypnotic synths that shift listeners and dancers into the sonic opulence of an electronic space opera.

The artwork by graffiti artist O'clock envelopes this musical narcollaboration in a brillant science fiction design.

'Transforming' is the slow, cavernous floorfiller with a growling bass of truly physical intensity, while 'Fractional's delayed chords and soft, skipping hi hats form the housiest moment of the record. 'Touch Sensor' and 'Tantalum' on the flip nod to the legacy of Mark & Moritz (still strong to this day): the former could be a long-lost Main Street dub, while the latter would not be out of place as a new entry in the M-series.

DJ Octopus returns to Hot Haus Recs with 3 trademark Jackin Jersey Houz Jamzzzzz!

Back for his already third run on the label, Berlin-based producer Berobreo returns to Sundries to take care of the 2nd vinyl release in the catalogue.

Undeniably funky from start to finish, the 'What Can You Read On It's Thoughts' EP is all about those driving basslines and clean cut samples that have become synonymous with Berobreo's output over the past two years. While the A side, featuring the title track alongside another rather 'Delightful Affair', is probably the funkiest of the two with some serious old-school flavour sprinkled all over, the flip provides a bit more punch with 'Migrante' and especially 'Pina Colada' slowly taking this one into the early hours.

As time passes, Aforisme label is only adding gems to its catalog and the next one to shine is Root with his Cezariad EP. A combination of deep drums throbbing through layers of bass lines and melodious partitions.

He outsets with “Cezariad” – a dynamic composition with satiny claps that evolve throughout the time of listening into a core part of the piece. With a start-to-end listening, we can hear the bass line groaning sometimes in the back of the glossy keys and electronic environment. The casual shots are colonizing the imagination of the listener, estranging it from the primary source of the sound. A peaceful start is something to sum this up.

“Black Gold” – the name speaks for itself. A metallic continuance of the record with generosity in bleakly sounds and eccentric build up. The digitalization of this track can be felt from the first minute and we talk about the sonification of Root’s message through this particular piece. It reminds us of a playful xylophone paired with floor rhythms in a minimalistic entourage.

Taking the whole side B of this record, “Quantum Anomaly”, builds its surroundings in distorted ways and more specific – bleeps and stretched alien-ish pads that wrap in an out-of-room sonic voyage. The dynamics of Root and Parallax Deep are immaculate here, both putting under the spotlight their visions in a co-operative way. Speedy drums of Parallax’s are amiably confronting Root’s ghostly view on the melodic build-up.

Complementing that side is our friend and incredible person RQZ with his track "Blow Out", touches of mystery and seriousness is what describe this track the best and of course a perfect groove to start heating up any dance floor. Side B start with another good friend from many years ago, Dot with his track "Against All Odds" a track with a lot of aggressiveness, sophisticated drums, dope and progressive bassline, and to finish side B we have a family member Louiv with "Thoughtful Moment" and as the name indicates, a perfect track to get you thinking about life, a track that makes you feel many emotions once you hear it, the power of the bassline and those subtle enveloping pads that go in and out throughout the track can transport you to any memory no matter how remote it may be.

Having won approval and success in its debut release, the spclnch vinyl series continues with the release of a second record from Wiesbaden producer - Peter Fanai.

Weighty, spacious bass pleiades fill the sound field, erase the consequences of duality and, flowing into the viscous full-bodied substance of verified sound design, it would seem that they will momentarily shift the tectonic plates of the electronic genre.

Maestro Basicnoise is again involved in the spatial enrichment of textural proportions of reverberation and percussion. This time, their sequence runs under the quality mark of the Australian-German collaboration. The accurate Kooscha warms up the sensorics with elegant dance manipulations and a distinct rhythm, and the related association Echoton traditionally introduces a tart concentrate of meaningful thoughts.

The rich aftertaste of variable electronic abstractions takes the subconscious and musical outlook to a different plane.

After huge releases on big labels like Apollonia, Rawax and many others iO (Mulen) is back to his main label dropping a big LP. The "Lucky Fish" album consists of three different vinyls full of killer grooves: between smooth deep house and techy bangers, cooked in unique iO (Mulen) style. These cuts were tested on dance floors around the world for a long time, so now we have no doubt that all of them are lethal weapons for any set. Trick Track Records continues its pursue for unimagined sounds with its “TRCKV03.

Herck & Somesan are the protagonists of our third vinyl only release entitled “La Mesure”, which carries out their own interpretations towards their sole dance music experiences into an universal track. On the B side of “La Mesure” showcases Herck & Somesan own take on independent produced tracks as they portray diverse means of understanding dance music. Last but certainly not least is our trusted Graphic designer, Dsan with, 'Palo Santo' His deep, modular composition is the perfect balance that brings us to alternated states between light and darkness.

Na Zrak Records presents its third vinyl release Various Artist called “Into the Cave” by herck, Bryz, Sebastian Eric and Djosh.
Them Genre propose is a kind of minimal with influences even techno characterized by the important groove. Surely it is a very recognizable sound and different from what is mainstream but we also like to involve artists coming from other musical worlds in our project, however, to try to give a product as colorful as possible of all the nuances that music can have.

It is 20 years later and this record still stands the test of time.
I distinctly remember when this record dropped it was a huge game changer, and really put the thick tripped out sound of the West Coast on the map, and created a sound that would be imitated for a
while to come.

In the mid to late 90’s there were records by Dj Buck, Doc Martin, Leaf Recordings, Wicked, Come Unity etc that laid the foundation to this record by bringing the sound of the whole coast to the world. On “Hear Dis Sound” there was this perfect blend of the artwork done by Skribblez and this rich dubbed out party rocking set of tracks that captured something that had yet to be seen or heard on such a large scale as such a pivitol moment in the lineage of dance music.

This record opened so many doors for so many of us all over the world, whether you call it “West Coast house” or whether it fit into the new genre known as “Tech House” is irrelevant- it was a massive hit.
At the time this came out, I knew Hipp-e from the days of the underground rave circuit in North America from the 90’s and I didn’t really know Halo at all then as he was more a part of the midwest
North American scene, originally hailing from Chicago before moving to San Diego.

Their success was almost over night after this record dropped, they were a global phenomenon. About the same time Peace Division had also kind of honed in on this type of sound with a double pack, but their take- a more UK style and I think each others successes piggybacked each other. You literally had these 2 production duos pop out around the same time with a comparable vibe and people wanted more of this type of stuff to play, and thus that sound and movement was born. For the anniversary the original mix has had a set of remixes from artists who truly understand how to bring new life to this project. Each remix brings something new and unique to the legacy of this track. The first remix from the Romanian Duo- Livio and Roby has a very interesting modern,yet classic take.

The deepest and most musical of the package, this rendition ditches the dub elements for a more straight to the floor groove that develops into this vintage almost Larry Heard esque piano riff, string section accompaniment and rolling synth bass. Its a highly developed excursion into the real deep house sound from the 90’s. Next up we have Yoyaku and Irenic’s Roger Gerressen bringing us a warm rich percussive outing.

He himself is known for these deep stripped down drum grooves with ever evolving pads and dubbed out elements, so his take on this captures the feel of the original, perfectly melding it to his trademark
pads and shuffle hats that we have come to expect from this staple of the underground.

Parisian mainstay D’Julz does what he does best, forward driving bass, hints of dub, and this evolving groove that takes you on a journey style arrangement. I remember about 5 years ago I wanted a rip of this and he had one, its like fate that he remixed it.
Per Hammar bring forth his futuristic forward thinking approach to the project, tight clean production and that swirl of soundscapes often heard in the projects. His track builds and builds to this pivitol
breakdown that is sure to destroy any dancefloor, and swiftly right back into a nod to the original.

The head honcho at Fuse- Enzo Siragusa brings his signature style of pumping pulsating grooves sweet dichotomy of introducing lush chords in the breakdown. He then pulls it all back into the meat of
the track and back into the chords again. This rendition has a type of feel akin to a vintage Mood2Swing dub. This has a nice balance that would work amazing in a club setting or in an underground warehouse.

Vuew’s artistic vision is to curate a platform where forward-thinking meets the arts of organic and detailed-orientated underground dance music that dominates Southern & Baja California. Lefthook and Paulo embody that vision with their Once in the West EP.

Once in the West is a personally creative collaboration between Lefthook and Paulo, two of our record label’s core members and close friends whose collaborative chemistry dates back to their audio engineering college classmate days.

This EP represents the summation of their musical development so far, imbued with their native West Coast House roots, love for creative technology, and passion for producing soulful, heavy funk-based music with purpose. The result is a blending of talents, artistic convictions, and a rare yet organic way of feelings things alike. This EP is full of emotion and energy. The third vinyl release on Manjumasi comes from enigmatic Ukranian producer Silat Beksi, whose work shines in its expertly honed details. Each of his productions is infused with an intricate sense of groove and texture ​—​ one is left with the feeling that describing his sound as “minimal” does not do it justice.
Over the course of many vinyl releases, he has shown himself to have a unique sonic touch, a style that is best described as his own.
The A-side features two works. Lead track DNA is a moody affair with an extremely deep descending bassline that anchors the low-end, while atmospheric pads develop above. The track is imbued with a feeling of life, evolving, emerging from the shadowy mists. This is followed up by Frozen, a more groove-forward number with an emphasis on trippy melodic details and vocal edits that keep the ears constantly engaged.
On the B side is Light In The Darkness, a meditative but driving track with a long and very deliberate energetic build. As the name suggests, this one conveys a sense of optimism, with wide pads that evoke new possibilities opening ahead.
