Streetlight Soul' is the inaugural release on new imprint Gnosis. This four track EP is the fifth Myriadd record, following 12"s for Crème organization, Pinkman and Signals. The past decade has seen releases from the artist under a variety of pseudonyms including Acid Phreex (Djax-Up-Beats), Mantra (Bunker, Abstract Acid, Solar One Music) and Monofonix (Iwari, Cataclyst). Across the EP, Myriadd remoulds the template of vintage Chicago house, acid and deep house into his vision of modern house music. Opening with 'Midnight Obsession'; working a dark hypnotic bassline into an endless groove of crisp jacking drums and soul stirring melody, all primed for maximum effect at 4AM when lost in the smoke and strobes. Bondage Music reveals the latest installment in its 'Bondage Games' series this March as Sascha Dive, Frink, Toman and Philipp Gonzales deliver four original compositions for Part 5.
Launched in 2008, German imprint Bondage Music has established itself as quintessential imprint for many within the world of stripped back, high quality house music, releasing material from the likes of Mihai Popoviciu, NTFO, Markus Homm and Tuccillo across the past 12 months alone. Their 'Bondage Games' series has also become a key fixture in the calendar, and here we see the label follow up their 2018 instalment with another vinyl only EP this March, with four fresh productions from Sascha Dive, Frink, Toman and Philipp Gonzales.
Frankfurt's Sascha Dive opens the package with 'Dark Night', a slick house cut guided by deep, dubby chords and entrancing vocals, before Frink's bubbling 'Vega' ups the energy and welcomes bright melodies amongst rolling percussion. DJ and producer Orlando Voorn has delivered the release of his club-ready EP, 'Positive Vibes', set to drop on NICEPEOPLE.

Opening the release with the EP-titled 'Positive Vibes', a slick record filled with strong tribal elements, the track is followed by 'One Day', an infectious after-hours rumbler. With Voorn also crafting a warm, driven mix of 'Matta', the EP is rounded off by 'Ghetto Techno', a synth-led track filled with the producer's rhythmic tones.

A slick display of the Dutchman's prowess in the studio, the new 4-track Positive Vibes EP is set for release on Wednesday 10th April via NICEPEOPLE.

To celebrate the launch of the enigmatic Dutch label, VDK, we present the debut release on their catalogue. VDK is all about letting the music do the talking, without any of the expectation associated with divulging an artist’s name and therefore knowledge of their past productions, therefore each artist remains anonymous.

We start proceedings with 001, a hypnotic journey with a healthy dose of retro-infused organ riffing that glistens over the top of a garage house beat, punctuated with hypnotic flute sounds and delirious vocal samples.

002 features fizzing top end percussion that carries the warping synth stabs throughout the mix. Distant chatter and indistinct snippets of heavily treated spoken snippets ebb and flow around the other elements of the track making for hazy evening atmospherics.

On the flip and closing out the collection is the B-side, 003. A progressive peak-timer, the percussion underpins a selection of discombobulating vocal arrangements that pan around to dizzying effect. Twinkling synth work dances around the upper end of the mix for the ideal set-builder.

Platform 18, known as one of Glasgow's most distinctive parties drops a solid no nonsense 4 track EP made for the dancefloor. Comprising of 3 original collaborations from the Platform 18 residents Ivan Kutz, Niz and Craig Hamilton backed with a remix from former Parisian turned Berliner Alexkid. The label set up to showcase the home-grown talents of the residents and collaborative efforts amongst friends.

'First Touch' a collaboration between Craig Hamilton and Ivan Kutz opens the EP with crisp percussive elements, solid grooves and trippy hypnotic leads. Before continuing with Alexkid's interpretation of the lead track, a more stripped back, dubby and somewhat moodier groove. Synth drones and obscure stabs add texture alongside scattered hypnotic tones, over driving rhythmic elements.

On the flip 'Reflections', marks a collaboration between long time Platform 18 selectors Ivan Kutz and Niz. Deep dubby drones dominate throughout over peppered percussive elements and layered key stabs. Carefully placed spoken word vocals lead us through the break rounded out by slick beats. Hamilton and Kutz close out the EP with'Dark Matter'. Gritty dark tones layered with arpeggiated keys over intricate percussive elements. Dubby analogue stabs and an uncompromising sub add just enough tension to drive the track forward.

Searching for a distinct sound, a dreamy soundscape that will reach both the mind and the soul, Particular has found the perfect man to deliver their first release.

Co-founder of the Lisière Collectif project, Andu Simion comes from the outskirts of Ploieti, Romania and you can hear the industrial side of the city in his sound. It's safe to say that, while clearly being inspired by the Romanian minimal movement, he has crafted his own particular style: a deep, if maybe just a little acid-infused journey that has landed him last year a huge release on Atipic, Priku's label.

This vinyl-only release starts off with Got To Be Real, a track full of overlapping percussions that steal the show, at least until the heavy bassline unleashes and the sudden change works wonders, making the listener want to get his feet moving. The second track on the A side, Aquarium 00 (name is inspired by the 2000's internet café called Aquarium located in Ploieti), is certainly a change in tone and a more moody affair, full of trippy and stirring sounds, a welcome contrast that works perfectly.

The transition to the B side is a smooth one, as Broken Arch carries this mood on with a heavy bass line that manages somehow to stay in the background, letting the serene sounds on the surface take over.

Azureh, the track that closes things off, is a slow burner and the recurrent but eerie vocal is probably the only constant here, setting up the mood for a track that is constantly evolving. The percussion become more illustrious, the bass grows stronger and a deep, celestial, shivers-inducing sound appears gradually in the background.

Lied's debut release brings Robert's "Way of Being" double EP front center stage with a mixed bag of goodies for assorted times.
Beginning with "Skyhaze", which will surely trigger memories of Santana "Soul Sacrifice" at Woodstock 69, with bass guitar and solo to boot, driving through to "Roots", a roboticized peak time mellow-drama. The more after hours friendly "Knock" occupies the back end of the B side with acidic influences entangled with balearic harmonies and silvery grained out melodies.

"Blue Devils" toes the line of it's predecessor with a more bass driven narrative while "Zero Zero" slips into a more atmospheric disguise, finally bringing it home with a "Sneak Peak" into the more minimalistic and syncopated side of Robert, suited best for early hours of the night.

In the Various Artist, we will find new talents as well as some well-known names, a collection that goes from the Microhouse with deep / minimal touches. With a polished and blunt bass line. That surround with their elegant and minimalist groove, the tracks are focus on the groovy, which sounds along with deep synthesizers and with a light touch of acid, and atmospheres of pads and sequences of celestial chords that filter into the mix, together with heavy drums contrasted by light snares and voices that come and go with obscenely hypnotic LFO games, that complement them superbly. The tracks are a roller coaster of emotions.

Minim Records sixth release brings you a debut EP from a young Ukrainian producer Grec. We have finally come to the second release of Abstrakt Minded Records. After a small period of wait, and the good success of the Herck’s remix in AMR001, the owners Friedrich Becker and Sabèr have found the right artist to propose for the new release.

Denis Kaznacheev, the owner of Nervmusic itself, seemed like the best move at this time.

With his eclectic sound he proved to be one of the best producer in the underground scene during the last years, showing technical skills that are uncommon and definitely have the power of knowing how to treat the crowd during playing.

AMR002 contains two originals, side A and side B.

Kaznacheev received total freedom in doing what he can do at his best, this is the reason why he had the possibility to spread his technical skills throughout these two long compositions, which are long enough to tell a story.

Both tracks are based on a live arrangement that gives the sense of change at every beat, and a constant moving groove.

The first track (side A) is a 14 minutes journey, starting with a sort of intro where the mysterious vocal introduces one sound at time.

Textures give life to the track, and the groovy bass is the leading part of this.

Everything is framed in a minimalistic drum pattern in a straight 4/4 rhythm, that gives a sense of hypnosis throughout the whole composition.

The second half of the track is where magic happens, and from a dark clubby sound, we get into a more floating and trippy vibe, with a melodic sound that will take you to the next level of emotions.

The second track (side B), like the first one, is such long but definitely has a slightly different vibe and feeling.
Is the perfect contemporary minimal show off. This is what listeners definitely want to hear in a club.

At this time, the rhythm is the leading part, every short and minimal percussion has a sort of swing that creates a groove that gives goosebumps. The always changing drums is what makes the track moving for 15 minutes, they never stop and they are filled with
great FXs.

In this composition the melodic part is not the principal element, however we enjoy the listening of this combination of dark stabs and glitchy sounds that put a big smile on your face, for sure.

For the second installment on his new Extrasketch imprint, Andrew Rasse aka Butane returns to deliver the scintillating 'Sketch Factor', with the four track EP set to drop in mid-October. Following the launch of Extrasketch this July and the closure of Alphahouse earlier in the year, October is set to welcome the second EP in a series of Butane-only productions as the San Francisco based producer continues to dive deep into what he describes as his own exploration about what House and Techno should look, feel and sound like. With EX01 supported by the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Adam Beyer, Truncate, Magda, Dj Sneak, Alexi Delano and Ryan Crosson among others, Rasse's new creative outlet is set to become a quick favourite of many and a sure thing for underground quality and consistency. First up is 'Don't Stop', a stripped back, eclectic affair in which Rasse effortlessly introduces intricate organic percussion amongst bumping sub tones and murky background drones, whilst the sizzling lead synth keeps the track locked in a techno-hypnosis. Cavernous kicks reinforce shimmering hats and a snaking, meandering electro-tinged lead in the driving and dynamic 'Minimum Wage' to conclude the A-Side in fine fashion. Fans of Rasse's work will immediately be drawn to B1 'Go', as trademark Butane drum licks merge with infectious vocal shots to reveal a production born from hazy after-hour dancefloors. 'Ultramax' wraps up the EP with a quirky off-kilter feel as skippy drums work in a free flowing pattern amongst eerie vocal snippets, high pitched bleeps and subtle sonics, creating a hypnotic workout that ensures listeners slowly spiral amongst the productions methodical madness.

Surrounded by a collection of rare old synths and vintage samplers, a little dog and the best red wine of Italy. Kian is making beats all day long. That's his life. He started his career on Toy Tonics last year and now is back with an own EP - full of that fucked up, jazz influenced cut & paste House sound that is taking over the house world since last year. Similar to his friends Rhode & Brown, Fouk, Nachtbraker or the guys around OYE records in Berlin he loves to create this special way of sampling old Jazz records and using rare vintage synthesizers instead of digital computer sounds. Just listen to a "normal" deep house records of the last years and compare it with the sound of the Kian. Using these old synths makes a big difference. You can hear it on every of his tunes: There is no cheap sound here - everything is FAT and has a very warm, personal, always easy to recognize sound-aesthetic: courtesy of the four synthesizers he uses: The Korg Polysix, the Sequential Prophet600, a Roland Juno 60, and the legendary Oberheim Matrix 6. And courtesy of the way he mixes his tracks: not in the laptop - but the old way: on a fat old mixing desk. That's why he has that massive sound.

Soaked in its sunset nostalgia by the Mamaian waterfronts, the EPs A-side 'About space and future' relocates us onto the ever-moving engine of curious kicks and rhythmic indulgence that is Costin Rp. With a more esoteric voice, the B-side brings 'Phil Ther'. A dreamy mechanism built around its tense releases of glimmering echoes and reverberations. Acmé means "the highest peak or state" and definitely in this release you can't get any higher.

We haven't heard from Acmé since March 2018 with the highly successful Acmé 006 inc. LIZZ, Vincentlulian and Alex Font.
This period was a year and a half of deep silence but without doubt they are coming stronger, fuller and with more diversity.

Here you can find four top notch remixes from highly respected producers and scene leaders who stamped their sound signature into the Acmé universe, also a bonus track from Acmé CEO Alex Font that has already been supported and played by minimalist maestros like Ricardo Villalobos and Rhadoo.

A1. Fractions
A deep, groovy roller, full of textures, pads and a dubby bassline throughout. A series of solid off-beat drum patterns at the start of the track are later calmed by a set of deep, dubby chords.

A2. Fractions (Archie Hamilton remix)
Placing his own stamp firmly on the original, Archie Hamilton serves up pure, summer vibes with this remix. A deep, warm bassline and complementing series of glitchy Percs build to form this solid groove.

B. Bee side
A chunky, relaxed roller, comprising of solid 909 drum patterns and a warm 101 baseline.

After in 2018 he released his debut vinyl-only EP on Vivus alongside Silat Beksi, it was due time for Daniel Broesecke to take things into his own hands and he does just that with his first solo effort, backed by a very strong Vlad Arapasu remix.

We kick things off with the title track some heavy bass lines that will grab your attention instantly. As the track goes on, layer after layer is added and the result is a very smooth journey seasoned with an exquisite vocal deep in the background.

Next up we have Lockdown and here Daniel is a little more playful. You can feel it from the beginning, with some distinguishing percussions and idiosyncratic noises that give you a sense of urgency. As the minutes go by, a dark and enigmatic background noise is added and it call comes wonderfully together.

The curtain-closer is Vlad Arapasu’s interpertation of Fusion and it is an charming and meticulous effort by the Romanian producer. This is a whole different story with a complete different but all the same amazing bass line. Vlad Arapasu has managed to keep what made the original such a lovely track and add a misty layer over it, making it somehow more dark but also something that gets your feet going at the same time.
