We are happy to introduce our Second Vinyl - Excuse Fear EP. This time it's gonna be solo EP by really talented musician from Spain - EQUAL aka Dakpa.

Marc Leclair aka Akufen, has long been considered one of electronic music's most fascinating producers. An early pioneer of the so-called 'microhouse' sound, he's perhaps best known for his work on Perlon and aside from Akufen, his Horror Inc. alias. His latest comes at us from emerging Italian label, Telharmonic Texture. The label's third release (following releases by Jeff Samuel and Paradroid ft. a remix by label boss, Pressure Point), 'Music 2 Wiggle 2' sees the Canadian perk up with three original tracks. As always with Akufen, they're striking in their originality and level of detail especially. 

A new mysterious label emerges from the grey outskirts of Romania - Eightyfive Records pinpoints the time period in which the musicians were born, a mixture of groovy industrial revolution beats and post-communist moody themes. Because the EP is presented under full anonymity, you'll be the dancing judge of how these artists showcased a few childhood memories.

Point Blank's deep pads and detuned kick drum reference Detroit's classic house sound, the raw drums and vocal snippets adding a truly basement vibe. Area 51 is another atmospheric late night jam, with a bumping rhythm track and subtle pad washes - stripped down and weaponised for the serious dancers.

We're hitting a milestone with Barac, one of the most recognizable and loved of our counterparts, presenting When We See One'.

A riddled and twisted voyage that starts off with A song written for Reny', setting the mood with some atmospheric and scatty beats layered over a constant harmonic. Next up, we Maintain Eye Contact', focusing in and getting dirty down with it. The organic and upbeat side of Barac takes root with Cantacea celor 3 tineri', and finally we break even with Toponimul', closing in on the jungle habitat.

Pheek returns with a rare vinyl EP and makes a bold statement in dropping fresh new tunes that will please any adventurous DJs. While groovy, the tracks mark Pheek's usual, very intricate and bizarre but always reliable dancefloor material.

Starting off on this first release, Berlin based duo The Willers Brothers, deliver two very strong originals on the A-side. On the B-flipside, Nick Beringer and Mike Sharon put their craft on the remixes to complete an allround debut package.

This is the second edition of the compilation series of the Tijuana based club Wherehouse. Curated by Soul Of Hex, gathers sounds of his friends, Roman Rauch (Philpot), Moony Me (Uncanny Valley), and a collaboration between NY*AK & Mark Hand (Technicolour). Starting off the record, ''Mindeasy'', is a slap bass jam funk (played by Soul Of Hex himself) melodic arpeggios, and tr 707 percussive works. On the second track of the A side, it follows with ''Eu4ia'', a MPC groover, composed of rhodes and uplifting sophisticated beats. On the other side we have ''Daydreamin'', which is a R&B influenced track, feel good created by the venezuelan born, Eduardo Arreaza aka Moony Me. ''Can't You See'' is a slow groover, full tremolo rhodes played by Mark Hand and beats by the magician, NY*AK. The concept is simple, this is hand crafted computer music, as shown in the artwork, made for the eternity.

Keeping the concept of a tight knit family of artists, up next on Sol Asylum is the follow up EP for the Dilated Pupils titled Introducing Remi. This collective of likeminded artists from the Netherlands return to the label with a solid four-track EP that shows their range and diversity as producers.

Moving full speed ahead we start off with 'Remi at 21.16' a track that instantly hypnotizes you on the dance floor with its echoing harmonic synths and a complex metallic snare pattern. The track is a slow burner that explodes when the dirty analog kick, swinging bassline, and filtered percussion melt into an atomic fusion.

Next we take it to the next level with 'Do' its underwater bubbling percussion, bleeping stabs and eerie synth take us to the far off corners of space with just enough acid to keep our heads down and grooving to the strobe light in a dark room.

As we move into fall with 'October Times' a tightly woven groove and galloping kicks push us into more experimental territory with soaring vintage synths that create tension and finesse at the same time.

Finally we finishing things off with the esoteric vibes of 'Suque' this deep and dirty track channels the positive force from another realm, which is the perfect match for the inspiriting concept of Sol Asylum.

Leftback 013 introduces a contemporary series dedicated to bringing through new artists and friends of the label. Internal Connections Volume 1' delivers 4 tracks of stripped back grooves, dark melodic tones and organic instrumentation. Dudley Strangeways & Michael McLardy set the trend on A1 with a building roller using delayed stabs from the main hook that teases its way in towards the end of the track. A2 is by Midlands based DJ and producer Bunny, who plays regular slots at Birmingham's Rainbow venues as well as being resident for Social Underground and has played alongside the likes of Raresh, Fuse, East End Dubs & Sonja Moonear. Bunny supplies a stripped back groove focusing on the rhythm, with intricate hi hat patterns that counter with the bassline. Szymon Wnuk provides nine minutes of deep and twisted minimal for B1 that uses sparse rising base and an understated kick drum that carries the track. B2 welcomes Leftback resident Chris Boardman on his production debut that rounds the EP off with a heavier techno leaning feel that compliments the rest of the EP well. VINYL ONLY.

Ditongo is telling tales through samples and loops in these two tracks. The first track, Moaning, has a linear feeling at the beginning: a layer of bass lines makes your feet move instantly until some subtle piano sounds come in at the perfect moment. It creates an atmospheric vibe and when the bass kicks in again, everything seems to fall into place. Cosmjn's interpretation is, as expected, more serious and it has a no-nonsense approach: stripped of the melodic piano sounds, a strong bass line takes over, which makes for an interesting contrast to the original track.

If Moaning was a more gentle track, Fr Sa Su is a little bit different: dance floor oriented, the rhythm is certainly higher and it has some intriguing background sounds that go hand in hand with the powerful bass that grows on you from the start of the track. The Florian Meffert remix closes this EP and it goes out on a strong note: it is a complex track with very different elements and sounds that complement each other just right to get things going.

There are no boundaries for Fun Records when it comes to continue spreading its refreshing sounds beyond trends and predictable beats.That's why this fifth release welcomes Mariano Mateljan, the infamous Croatian DJ, producer and one of the most talented and recognized electronic music artists of the country and abroad. Nibong (Fun 005) comes out with 4 tracks, traced by the analog frizzly details that have been characterizing every Fun's release. But there is even more behind the pristine minimalistic house signed by Mateljan and pressed on both vinyl's side: we can say that this time, Fun's got a bit more serious (just a bit, don't misunderstand us): Nibong EP enters directly to the highest clubbing experience but shaped as only Mateljan could make it. Listening to Thetea track on the B side will make you difficult to stand still without letting yourself go and stop thinking for a while in order to let your imagination emerge: enjoy the amenity of subtle feelings rising as the dreamy and slightly broken melody develops catching your attention. Lotus, the second B side track, may be the most ethereal one, and both together leave us having fun and feeling sensitive as if the sunset would catch ups by surprise on the beach. If you want to explore the also funny but darker side, the A side may be like the taoist yin conception, only understandable if yang is magically kept in Lotus and Thetea. And that's the clue of Mateljan's superb productions: Slippery Slope and Nibong's A tracks are well balanced, but at the same time the release has its own balance too. The result has generated a complex but coherent structure that keeps making you feel addicted to the sounds, no matter how many times you play and dance to them. Vivus Records, the underground South German label, invites London-based and RLZ Music label boss Rowlanz for an acid-infused journey thourghout some minimal streets.

Having received constant support from the likes of Gescu, Barac or Archie Hamilton, Rowlanz is a name you should keep an eye on in the future and it is fitting that he has decided to collaborate with Melodie, a young Romanian prodigy that has had a quite meteoric rise in the past year.

We kick things off with Laniakea which is full of brisk grooves with just a pinch of an acid feeling to it that will get you moving accordingly. The hi-hats and subtle bassline complete each other to a mesmerising effect and the background sounds give a lovely deepness to the track.

The stunning vocals on 312 act as a reminder that you can always expect a surprise from Rowlanz and he is in full creative mode here. You can almost imagine the radiant energy boost that this track would give to dance floor enthuasiasts after a long night with a dark atmosphere.

Melodie's interpretation of 312 has the Romanian's trademark sound all over it: acid sounds covered with a strong but linear bassline that floats all over the song.

To top it of in our artistic approach, we bring you this unique 100% romanian cover, "Necromæns" painted with acrylics on canvas by talented Anita Frâncu. Many untold stories lay hidden under the strokes of the young painter, besides the aphotic site of this artwork that matches perfectly the overall design concept of Mihai Dafinoiu - responsible for the image of Tupiar Records & Tupiar Limited Record Labels.

Milan is a Parisian based producer, providing sweet house, dance and hip hop music,

In the last few years the label - founded by F.eht - has grown in leaps and bounds, with many digital releases climbing charts and bringing new artists to light.A:The opening track titled 'Conduccion' is a production from Slovenian based artist, and Innocent Music label-head Aney. F. One for the dance floor, this track is full of energy and builds and evolves perfectly. Aney's sound has spread across the world in the last few years and this record is a perfect example of why his music has become so popular in the scene.The second track on Side A is one that takes us darker and deeper. Cicuendez has set a heavy vibe for his track '5 Years'. The elements that make up this track come together perfectly and form a well rounded thumping production. Not only are we happy to hear this production on Samani, but we also look forward to hearing more from this talented producer in the future.B:F.eht has stepped forward to open up the flip side with a remix of Aney's track on Side A, this time offering a slightly different vibe whilst keeping the energy on offer tom the original. This is another one fit for the club, and one that show's how far the head of Samani has come in the last few years.Finally, 'Jessabelle'. This production by Battric & MIVU is a real roller, you only have to listen to the choppy bassline to realise that. The breakdown half way through the track uses some really crisp synths to lighten the mood, before breaking back in to a slightly evolved version of the main body of the track. This duo are definitely a pair to look out for this year. SMNI002 is 100% one for the record bag, and will be one heard across the world in future months.

"La Gura Sobei" compels the dancefloor to step into traditional romanian shoes with "Dugul Pamantului", a massive atmospheric and layered behemoth, while "Zorilor Roze" takes a more subtle and enthusiastically melodic approach on folk influences.
