The freshly inaugurated vinyl series 'Plastic Garment' represents the label's fusion
between Hip Hop, Disco and House. Organic and yet electronic, raw but still highprofile,
expressive and vital - the blurred boundaries are replaced by three principles:
forward thinking, feet-moving and free-spirited. Therefore to us, vinyl is an important
medium to provide listeners with a unique way of experiencing music.

UKYPG001 'Stretch The Truth' by Peter Clamat with Daniël Lesemann and Rhode
& Brown as remixers onboard is the kick-off release of the Plastic Garment series. It's
a leftfield house package with a blend of futuristic boldness and analog retro vibes.
The EP comes on a limited edition of 300 12' copies this winter on 14th December.

This newly inspired project has also been launched as a partnership with hometown friends - Nitin and former Art Department band-mate Kenny Glasgow in support of an issue very close to their hearts - animal cruelty. White has recently begun work on MAAC (Music Against Animal Cruelty), a charity project started with long time friend and Pulse Radio founder Wade Cawood. The charity will serve as a fundraising initiative with plans to galvanize the support of the electronic music industry and to help raise money andawareness to protect african wildlife facing the threat of diminishing population or extinction. Social Experiment will serve as a non profit record label with 100% of proceeds donated to MAAC.

It's the collaboration we've all been waiting for! The careers of both Catz N Dogz and Eats Everything have been intrinsically linked since the Polish duo debuted the incredible Mr Edible via his agenda-setting 'Entrance Song' on Pets in 2011. Their relationship was compounded by dirtybird dynamics; both acts sitting on the fringes of house and techno, neither side shy of the rich taste of bass, the work of both Eats Everything and Catz N Dogz has always sat side-by-side.... But never together. Until now. Finding time in their hectic international DJ schedules, amid releases on the likes of Hypercolour, Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, dirtybird, Defected, Mothership and Pets the trio have collided to conjure up two of the most distinctive house tracks of the coming season. Péché Mignon Records is a french based House/techno label founded in October 2013 by Ludwig Spatz and Lorenzo Lacchesi. This EP is the fifth release and the first vinyl of the label. Deeptique EP is produced and mastered by the co-founder, Lorenzo Lacchesi, and his friend and partner Pitport'. This Release is a mix between two different inspirations perfectly mixed together and represents a new musical approach to Péché Mignon Records.

run a label called House Mannequin. Together, they founded Love Comedy (Akirahawks & Shingo Suwa), a project mixing their own personal universes. Akirahawks is really into Disco and House music

whereas Shingo Suwa is fond of Techno and Acidic vibes. The result is a very special and unique Ep!

Cahoots Records celebrates one year with the release of Volume 4 featuring tracks by Borai, Ave Astra, stevn.aint.leavn, and Anders Hellberg.
Bristol based Borai kicks off Volume 4 with 'Thinking of You,' a clean, classic take on house music. Strongly recognized for his productions on labels like Chicago's Tasteful Nudes, Retrofit and Needwant, Borai's contribution to Volume 4 continues his ode to classic deep house with upbeat drums and straightforward melodies that nod to the New York & New Jersey anthems of yore.
Calling the shots next is 'Clap Your Hands' by Ave Astra, who delivers deep pressure kicks and bass that work hard underneath thick, flowing pads, rhythmic synth-work and explosive vocal samples. Ave's imprint Roit Recordings presses cutting edge raw house and techno with love from Istanbul. His previous productions have found homes on top house labels such as 124 Recordings and Made Fresh Daily.
For Volume 4, Cahoots decided to turn over the B-Side duties to two fresh Berlin artists. stevn.aint.leavn, hailing from the infamous Beste Modus crew, is a regular in the Berlin scene. His contribution 'Silk Share' is a galloping work of punchy percussive rolls and fills. This train is certainly rolling through and will be making a few quick stops along the way. stevn.aint.leavn's live sets always promise rugged beats and vibes built strictly for the club.
Our next Berlin based Cahoots cohort, Anders Hellberg closes out Volume 4 with 'Viol,' an aggressive analog anthem with driving techno influence. A hypnotic bassline carries the track through dark passages of menacing dips and drops as stuttering hat and drum patterns keep this one locked into an firm groove. Anders' continues his journey into sound with promising releases on labels including Telefonplan and Sonntag Morgen.

With a slew of releases under their belts, Craig Stainton (Mantra, Myriadd, Acid Phreex) and Nigel
Rogers (Perseus Traxx, Orpheus, Sir Leon Greg) have once again combined their knowledge and love for warm synth tones.
Distant Planes is an intoxicatingly psychedelic adventure into House music, interconnecting a range of new and old machines to generate a distinctively timeless fog of sound that transports the mind to other realms while forcing the body to move in its most primal and expressive way. The titles point to something deeper, something far beyond the
everyday, and as your heart rate naturally syncs to the tempo the journey begins as rich basses, hints of acid, lush pads and divine arpeggiations drift in and out of the swelling mass of sound. All extracted live from the machines, the whole thing simply throbs a simplicity that while seeming basic and unfettered by the details of much of the
overproduced music currently available, somehow remains rich and complex in its sound and feel. This is as deep as it is mystical, a true interdimensional journey.

After sending Scala to Berlin, twirling his Hélice in London and colonising Bapteme in Cologne, Agoria declares 'Independence' in Barcelona. An anthem that's been a highlight of the summer for Maceo Plex and Agoria, Independence's date has finally being fixed.

Agoria's debut release on Ellum is an equally sinister and experimental affair. Apocalyptic drum crescendos are broken up by warm synths tones and washed against baritone basslines on the title track. Architectural's stunning rework elevates it to an eerie, cavernous space. 'Gravity' featuring Nicolas Becker, features spoken word layered over a driving, hypnotic groove. This alternative vinyl version of 'Independence' is only available on the 12" features the infamous Russian pianist Mikhail Rudy.

Sébastien Devaud AKA Agoria was living in rural France when he first got hooked to electronic music. He started producing and releasing his own tracks in 1999 and gained international recognition with a series of 12´s on Pias recordings in 2002. Agoria has released four critically acclaimed long-players and countless singles. Resident Advisor named his At The Controls compilation series one of the best mix-cds of the past decade. He also founded Nuits Sonores, one of the best European festivals is currently experimenting with cinéma with film director Jan Kounen & with contemporary art.

SAES' debuts on Deep Freaks with a collection of three originals that blur the genre lines between deep house and minimal. Inspired by late nights in Brooklyn, NY the Menahan EP delivers a soundscape of evolving chords, chugging drums and just a little bit of acid.

We started 'The Classic Series' featuring tracks that we love, bought, played out and which we have the feeling more people should know about them. For this second, It is a great honor for us to welcome such a living legend, a pioneer from the Detroit House scene Terrence Parker and the Chicago veteran Ellery Cowles. This project includes two secrets cuts and timeless moments of Detroit house & Chicago techno.
On A side : 'Welcome To Southfield', a massive and very demand house instrumental track from Terrence Parker. Released in 1997 on Studio K7! Records and issue from his 'Detroit After Dark' Lp.
On B Side : 'Madball', previously released in 1998 on DaFunk! records, our favorite secret weapons, a real masterpiece of Chicago Jackin' Techno by Ellery Cowles (Black Nation, Djax Up Beats, Synewave).

Zimbru is just one of the new additions to our label roster. Focused on a more housy approach this outlet is looking for sounds that cross the boundaries between techno and house, collaborations between artist friends and nonetheless eternal dance music.

That being said Zimbru debuts with a double tracker by Sahau, the brainchild of Dan Andrei, Kozo and Paul Agripa, entitled Montreal Ep.

Side a is a pure house gem with breaks attitude, suitable for both night and day, indoor or outdoor. A New Jersey influence can be clearly heard in those synths, hence probably the name Nj Breaks.

Montreal, on side B, seems to be a different beast. With powerful swing and a catchy theme this track means business.

After releasing his music on the labels like Mathematics, Macadam Mambo, Hotmix and Snuff Trax, Takeshi Kouzuki, Japanese producer currently based in Kobe, starts his own label Man Made Mechanical Culture. The first EP is delivered with his own 3 raw house tracks mainly made of analogue synth and rhythm machine sounds.

The second release in 2015 comes from the Delude Records label owner Tom Almex. Its a nasty minimal techno release for starting the summer time.
The release contains 2 tracks from Tom Almex. First track called PORNOGRAFIC - great minimal techno track with nice warm synthesizer.
The second track called PECAN - a experimental techno track with minimal influences.
On the vinyl are 2 PORNOGRAFIC remixes by Jase,a young producer from rostock and Patrick Arbez, the master of dark driving melodic techno.
