Born and raised in Germany's small town Gera, Dana Ruh soon found her way to the capital city Berlin. Besides her daytime job she got herself into the beat and sound of the vibrating music scene where she started her steadily rising career as a DJ in 2005.
Since then she experimented with electronic, house and techno music to find her own incomparable sound. Not only her DJing got her more and more into bigger venues, also her musical output as a producer let her to regular releases on labels like Einmaleins und Ripperton's Perspectiv. She also contributed remixes to the swiss Label Mina Records, the danish Connect Four and american Clink Records. That led to a wider attention in the european and overseas techno market and strengthened her name as an german artist, which from that point on could not be disregarded.

Above all this she founded in 2007 her own record label Brouqade together with a friend. The two ladies intended to completely devote their long-lived experience within the realms of djing & producing and urban nightlife to the release of electronic music in the soundspectrum of,clear Techno and House. Brouqade Records also featured videos of their artist's tracks which have been well recognized on respective plattforms.
All her forthcomin' EPs were released on that label and new talents such as Danilo Schneider and Benjamin Fehr were featured as well.

Her own musical development ushered her to new collaborations with well-known DJs. In 2010 she produced together with Cocoon's André Galuzzi for Ostgut Ton in Berlin. The EP - Mauersegler' cracked the dancefloors and tracks from that EP have been put on different compilations. Out of this work the both artist created there own record label Aras in early 2011 to build a plattform for their productive liaison and support new talents.

Yet she has not hestitated to explore musical possibilities in her studio with her machines to continue her solo work. While evolving new sounds and tracks Dana Ruh hit some spectacular signings with Ben Watts' Buzzin' FLy and put a track on a Various Artists on Crosstown Rebels. As well there will be her own new releases on Aras and Brouqade. Make sure to expect some musical gemstones in the second half of 2011 to be released....Coz diamonds are that girl's best friends.

Known for his sense in minideeptech-sounds, KONRAD DYCKE wallows intimate melodic parts on his subtracted, but deep-waven textures in 'MESPILUS'. Humming with round-framed pillars, that reaching the sphere irresistibly, is Parquet Rec. member MANDIBULA's sort to catch the groove of the 'COSMIC DROP'. But these both rill-filler are more or less the trailblazers for the long runner on B, made by the artificer himself - FRANCESCO BALLATO. There's great stuff here. Jam Jam Jam is a cover version of the infamous classic disco track by People's Choice, pubished by TSOP (The Sound Of Philadelphia) in 1976. Bobby Starrr is a Berlin-based House DJ/ producer and co-resident of the monthly House party e·man·ci·pate at Tresor. Starrr's DJ-sets are an energetic blend of emotional Acid House, melodic Deep House with Disco and contemporary tracks that he identifies as Future Classics. In 2007 he teamed up with Hip House founding father Tyree Cooper as the DJ duo Jack The Box, which has subsequently become one of Berlin's most coveted underground House acts. The duo released their debut album "Side A" on Moodmusic.

The much anticipated human beat boxer Kyo Sakurai, who represents the Japanese underground music scene performs finally in the 9th release of Room Full Of Records.
His incomparable originality is supported in a range of genres from ethnic to electronic music.
This tune is the exotic sound "Bali Moon", recorded as the last number in his newest album " Traveller", which was released eight years after the previous.
It is remixed by Moodman, who is one of the forerunners of the underground house music scene in Japan.
The top Japanese violinist Keiko Oikawa joined and also a Gamelan player / shadow picture & illustrator Kouheisai Kawamura designed the jacket and performed his gamelan and kecak in the piece. The artwork is by IPPI.

The third release on Uvar features 2 solo tracks, "Fortuit" and "Perpetuum" signed by co-owner Nu Zau, just in time for the summer season. In tune with the previous releases on the label, both cuts are exquisitely constructed musical landscapes, groovey and melodic, suited for all types of dancefloors. After his productive 2014 with releases on ViVa Music and Serkal, the owner Alessio Collina is back on Trend with a new weapon.
When you listen Love and fight' you can feel the detroit-techno influences, full of crazy pads and chords, especially during the breakdown and after that.
Perfect for the dancefloor, this track gives a Techno-Detroit touch to this record, that is still pretty house music.

A2. Scan Mode - Triciclo

If you don't know Scan Mode, you should listen something from him because his style is really singular.
He released stuff on labels like Cadenza, Safari Numerique, Esperanza and many more, he came back on Trend after his great remix for Jorge Savoretti played by the master Fred P.
His track Triciclo' has a very nice old school groove and some great 80's chords, but the bassline still fat.

B1. Hector Moralez - G Shit

Hector doesn't need to any presentation.
He worked with artists like Dj Sneak, Chris Carrier, Sidney Charles, Phil Weeks, Flashmob and many more, with releases on very respectable labels in the world like Apollonia, Avotre, Robsoul and many more.
His G shit' is the perfect example of the art of sampling.
Here the voice sample is grooving in the full length of the track and, sometimes, few piano chords appear.


B2. Timmy P - Foulsoul

Timmy Perry aka Timmy P is an english producer who has released very interesting music on labels like Local Talk, Witty tunes and many more.
His track in the B side called Foulsoul' has a lot of 80's influences in a lot of elements like bass, pads, chords and the whole groove.
This one completes the record in the best way!

Following a short break from releasing digital EPs Left Wing takes the plunge into vinyl only territory whilst celebrating becoming 10 releases strong. Staying true to the labels back catalogue the EP is deep, intricate and intelligent offering diversity across both sides of the record.

FUSE London returns this June with an outstanding EP from FUSE regulars Dan Farserelli and Seb Zito.
The 'Different Shades' EP is the first material from the duo to see the light of day and does not disappoint as it more than lives up to the lofty standards expected from these two.
The hazy aesthetic of lead track 'Black & Grey' perfectly sets the tone for the rest of the EP. Here trademark crisp drums are complemented by cloudy sounds and melancholic melodies.
Next up is 'Monotone' which continues in a similar vein, with a skipping rhythm, expertly placed bleeps and a flickering shimmer of warmth being brought in and out of focus & is exclusively available on vinyl only.
'Shadows', the first track on the b-side, sees the pair at the height of their talents. It is a beautifully simple yet effective track with a wandering horn expertly layered over an infectious punchy beat.
'In Colour' stays in line with the EPs smoky feel with a glimmering snyth and a spoken word vocal cutting through the solid percussive base.
Overall then, the 'Different Shades' EP sees Dan and Seb lay a strong foundation for an incredibly promising production partnership.

Releasing not very often, Understand has always kept things in the dark about what is going to happen next. The wait is over and the fifth instalment of the series is named Ebandogue and features 3 tracks from Dubtil, one of today's best producers in the Bucharest underground.

Ruling side a is Opus Ebant, an epic masterpiece, driven by a groovy bassline and subtle male choirs. This heavenly atmosphere goes from trippy to driving back and forth making it perfect for a peaktime moment that won't be forgotten. May also be used in some worship places.

Debandada and Epilogue share side b and besides the producer himself that is almost everything they share. Debandada is kind of dark and experimental but full of energy in the same time with weird whispers and evolving hats keeping everything on the move.

Epilogue has a more positive approach, the general uplifing feeling is spiked ocasionally with a techno resonator and some background synths, and just like that, the random delayed male vocals make it so more interesting.

Taking a few steps off it's usual housy path, Metereze presents a fresh new face and a more techno approach to dance music. It is Melodie that signs the 4th installment and he is taking it deep into the realms of acid with 3 tracks that not only go well together but they are all meant to make you move in a big way.

Acid Sunday is as acidic as the name suggests it but in the end it's the most poetic of the 3. The subtle pads are kinda dreamy but the 303 sounds make it super driving. On the same side we have Rhythmico which is dark, percussive and powerful. Subtle background bleeps complete the wandering synth that comes and goes but never really seems to go away.

Housed on side B Justa is a techno monster in it's own right. Sonically very close to the other two, this is by far the darkest track on this ep. And probably the strongest. Techno infused house you may call it or whatever, this is the kind of track that puts you on a serious move whenever, wherever. 

For our fourth release we proudly welcome Amsterdam based Tommy Kornuijt and Robin Kampschoer with their debut EP on Moving Vibrations.

Tommy Kornuijt started his musical journey a long time ago, firstly as a drummer/percussionist of a Dutch band. But the love for house was always there. He has left a valuable impression over the past years with his deep and funky approach on dance music while DJ-ing around Europe. He started producing about two years ago to finally bring his musical perspective to life.

Robin Kampschoer started to experiment with composing music using drum machines, synthesizers, and other analogue equipment in 1998. In 2000, this resulted in performing live acts of which he is now recognised for. Today, while combining hardware of the past with digital tools of today, he has been playing around the world for over a decade. Robin is known for a distinctive music style, which varies between funky and deep Detroit- techno and minimalistic dub.

Tommy Kornuijt and Robin Kampschoer teamed up about a year ago and were inspired to set the tone with their vision of definite, timeless electronic music, of which 'Cosmic Laws' EP gives substance to a solid joint effort.


COSMIC LAWS: A 9 minute space odyssey of infinite sound elements drifting over a elementary yet funky bass-line. It moves you deep into the dub-techno universe and leaves you with the origin of it all; a burst of pure (cosmic) love.

NUBIAN PRINCESS: This very first solo track by Tommy Kornuijt brings him back to his roots. Combining dubby percussions and flowing synths with sparkling keynotes; 'Nubian Princess' is a harmonizing and deeply reviving tune.

Returning to HAKT after his 2013 single N1, Cale Parks continues to chart a compelling new path with the Lagoon Fool EP, his second foray into solo production. As the current drummer for Yeasayer and a prolific collaborator both in studio and live, Cale's creativity knows no genre. The five tracks on offer sneak from the beaten path, complicating signifiers of style, gently tweaking the standard grammar of club music, and remaining accessible all the while.
Assembled in his Brooklyn studio, but sonically sourced from his grandparents' Tennessee farm, Lagoon Fool carries that sublime, somehow inviting ethos of the Appalachian range. Airy and tectonic at once, impeccably detailed, yet easily taken as a whole, it's a rich, deceptively layered listen. As a skilled songwriter and a produce quickly proving his caliber, Cale has composed a suite that demands multiple listens and a place at peaktime just the same.
The EP begins on 'Appalachia,' with delayed dreamlike chords syncopating over slow breathing pads. While it's easy to lull low into the track's deep, cradling groove, keep your head up to catch the dynamism of the mix: like a cinematographer pulling focus over the broad mountains themselves. Next, 'Big Hills' sounds like the thrill of reaching summit, with muscular bass weighing in opposition to a driving melody like lactic acid in the legs. 'Jade' demonstrates Cale's rhythmic intelligence with an unorthodox, yet tranquil drum part that carries a starry chord progression up into the stratosphere of soul. Closing things out, the title track bumps at a languid, triumphant pace with guitar chords, warbling synths, and elastic bass whirling into an anthemic progression. As a bonus, the aforementioned gets an insightful remix by Australian producer Bell Towers of Public Possesion fame, who adds some sparkle and funk while gently upping the tempo. It's a set to be reckoned with — Cale's next move is anyone's guess.

On the flip Cesar Merveille, Cadenza and Visionquest resident, produces the jacking, groovy 'Yaffle', a beguiling beast of a track that is currently going down a storm.

'Sleduyushly'or who's next up on Sol Asylum is Anton Zap. We are very pleased to be closing out 2014 with the delightfully well-crafted Deep House that resonates within Anton.

We start with Talking a simplistic yet deep and ever-evolving atmosphere with peculiar echoes and noises that speak to us through constantly moving metallic percussion. Next Rubblewood with its trotting wooden clicks and oscillating claps we morph through the track until the euphoric themes expand bringing us to the next level.

In My Lesson, Anton channels a 90's ambience with a definite feel for funk. Arpeggiated synths with just a hint of acid mixed with harmonic pads and unconventional horn riffs bring this eccentric soundtrack together. Finally Her Lesson brings us to more experimental territory with a futuristic outer galactic journey through space and time where a metronomic kick, walking bassline and gleaming pads transport us to another dimension.

It is clear that Nicolas Lutz's undeniable Djing skills make him special in the sense that he is one that does not need to depend on having to produce himself in order to pursue his path.
With that said, we can easily agree that that makes him a true SELECTOR.

It is on this basis that he then decides to bring out his own label. Nicolas feels that the very wide spectrum of music in which he portrays in his sets can then be passed on, this time with him as an A&R.

At this stage, whether the label will serve as a platform for his own productions in the future we are still to wait and see but the first release comes out in March 2014.

Soul Imago is finally back! After three successful releases as the Soul Imago Sampler, Lay-Far´s Detour Ep and the 15-tracks-compilation there has been a pause.
Now the label's bosses Pablo Valentino and Blunted Monkz are back and present a fantastic 4-tracker on vinyl.
Soul Imago offers a perfect combination of tracks. Firstly, there is Soulphiction´s Swing Low : Minimalistic, crazy and perfectly animating - this record is a tight combination of its elements and offers loads of fun.
Secondly, Pablo Valentino's Looking for changes' Remix is deep and dirty from the beginning. The track takes on the EP's atmosphere and is full of emotions due to the dope vocal samples.
Then, we immediately have Noa Siano´s Rhodesy'. Everybody likes to dance to this track on the B side which constitutes the vinyl's dynamic highlight. Last but not least, the talents Duktus and Blunted Monkz worked together.
Their Tokyo Hotel' is kind of a mixture of jungle and big city and tells a story. Among other things, it's a story of people making music that has not existed before. The rest of the story happens while listening.

'Out of Sight', the title track, is an elegant house exercise that takes you back to San Francisco. Recall is a brain bomb, hypnotic and psychedelic but with lots of energy, and has already been supported by the likes of Raresh, Rhadoo, Djebali and Apollonia, and is definately the cut to go in this record. 

To finish things off, romania's rising star MP, known for his works on Soulsity and Meterze, shows us his own view on 'Out of Sight', based on dynamic drums and a with an amazing bass leading the whole thing.
