Samo DJs Label Sattaoja is back with an unbelievable dancefloor-weapon by Toke!

In the same line as volume 01, this format Sauvez Wheelie wishes to give the opportunity to the Lyon-based producers to have releases on vinyl. After Funktroid, Sauna, Cymka & Mid on the ¦rst opus, we have a new luxury cast for this 2nd part with Lost In Material, Sela, Hyas & Botwin. A new V.A of 4 tracks with rave vibes between acid, trance, garage sounds and mental stuff.

Four tracks of forward-thinking club music featuring his signature sound, taking in elements of Acid, Broken Beats, UK Techno and Dubbed out atmospheres. Melodies, hooks and basslines are plentiful on this one and the sights are set firmly on the dancefloor with most tracks landing around the 130-140bpm region.

'Atlantis' is yet another step forward in the evolution of a well-decorated but never stagnant artist who is ever-keen on exploring new possibilities.

Now the full 4 track EP lands on 12" vinyl and full colour artwork.
This release includes two heavyweight bangers not on the dubplate: The dark acid breakbeat and club destroying sub drops of 'Total Carnage' and this year’s summer piano anthem to finish them all 'Hope This Makes 7th Sense'.

It's hard to believe it is now a full decade since Detroit's Dez Andres blew up off the back of his classic house jam 'New For U.' He had of course been toiling away for years before that, recording with Moodyman and DJing for Slum Village amongst other things. Since then the music has kept coming - some of it hip-hop as DJ Dez, some of it house under this alias, and much of it a perfect fusion of the two. And that's what we get here on this new EP for Beretta Music - four lush deep house joints with his smooth signature drum loops and gloriously incidental melodies. The slower, funkier bounce of 'Back To Nature' is the EP highlight for us, but all four of these are a cut above, as per usual with Dez.

As a solo artist and as a member of the duo Perrey and Kingsley, Jean-Jacques Perrey was one of the leading innovators of earlyelectronic music, and a trailblazer of the Moog synthesizer. Alongside composers like Wendy Carlos, Bruce Haack, and frequent collaborator Gershon Kingsley, Perrey was among the first to introduce the world to the synthesizer as a compositional instrument,via notable tracks such as "Musique de L'infini", "Gossipo Perpetuo", and "Baroque Hoedown", famously used as the theme music to Disneyland's Main Street Electrical Parade. Along with many of his contemporaries it was inevitable that such an influential instrumental composer would eventually be sampled into hip-hop tracks. His 1970 Moog composition "E.V.A." was especially popular among producers, making its way into tracks by Gang Starr, Dr. Octagon, Lord Finesse, Pete Rock, and innumerable others. To pay tribute to this prominent composition, Kay-Dee Records is proud to present this loving tribute to "E.V.A." on a 7" single, courtesy of French producer DJ Paikan, who also played sitar, guitar, kobol synth, and monopoly synth on the track & Mixed by Kenny Dope !

Banoffee Pies RecordsBlack Label Series continues with a special solo EP from label favourite Len Lewis who steps up with a selection of 4 previously unreleased productions from the mid 2000's. Already a regular on the infamous UK Tech House Label Swag Records, and a deep back catalogue of trusted DJ gems spanning back to the 90's, we were very excited to welcome him on board the label.

The A side offers two Sub heavy Breakbeat weapons with "Get On It" and a jump into the Sith world with "Darkside". The B side dips back into a 4x4 format with the swirling dance floor rhythm of "Tik Tok" and a playful and laid back house melody in "Projection Deep Dub", a track once approved by and handed to a member of the boy band Blue for a spin on Kiss 100. Drush emerges from the pixelated haze to make his debut on Fast Castle. "Archipelago" is a collection of three versatile and playful post-dancehall hybrids with plenty of bass and full of creativity. Recorded in improvised live takes in Drush's NK hideout, the cuts feature signature progressive arrangements and an unpolished live feel.

Taking up the full depth of Side A, "Birds and Bass" kicks things off with pitched percs, sharp drums and a pulsating bass before a psycho-bird melody lifts you to a lucid dance craze. The flip shines light on a sunnier vibe with "Archipelago" and "Flat Earth Dub" both hoovering and modulating around soothing melodies, generous bass swells and occasional dub-outs.

Detroit's Filthiest’s first appearance on Deep & Roll imprint is probably his wettest EP so far.

The 4-track 12’’ starts with the banger « Deep Penetration » - a dancefloor killer with a unique vibe that will make you bounce dat ass. « Dnb Spacedrift » continues this smooth journey in the space brothel until you flip the script with « Midnight Special » - another sexy but more funky jam. And if you’re still thirsty « Soul Brotha #1» will definitely get you third base with the humanoid creature that just caught your eye.

Italian artist Ocu is back for his 2nd release on the highly regarded Detroit side label. 'More Roads' is a jam packed 4 tracker that has the optimum balance of house party and club music while keeping the raw house feel the main focus. If you need the ideal record to point to that's currently a definitive house music classic, this is it!


'Fall Down' begins the EP in pure Detroit house style. The groove is highly addictive. All the well-placed elements ooze classic house music. Nothing goes over the top or tries to hard making this a sure-fire tracky winner. 'Raw Break' brings the fun back to house music. The broken beat works brilliantly with the keys and bassline to give it an almost Theo Parrish vibe as the melody creeps in to seal the deal. 'Feel Da Heart' has everything and more to be the house track of the summer. Understated and equally has smoothest of peaks and valley's. This truly could only come from an Italian's viewpoint of what is Detroit house music. That perfect blend of the two. Lastly, the title track bring it home with another memorable jam


After chatting with Ocu we understand his life work has been about exploring and consuming deep sounds. His background of repairing musical equipment for artist's along with his search for who in the scene was using those deep sounds the most creatively. It's that kind of background and devotion that sets up the foundation for this kind of quality of house music to then be made. And its no surprise that Detroit Side is the home for this memorable EP.

Much of Fast Castle is still shrouded in pixelated darkness. This first release offers a glimpse on what this weird-world might shed light on next: From polyrhythmic bass & drum flexing, to dubstep-not-dubstep exercises in sound system science and past-midnight gaze music, our map is expansive and full of surprises. The inaugural vinyl debut by Hunter Thompson aka Akasha System’s shadow self, DJ Panthr, is an 8- track technoid night ride inspired by the fern-shrouded neon streets of South Tabor, Portland, where the album was conceived and created: enter the Jade District. Simmering and serpentine, the songs slipstream from lithe to liquid to narcotic, traced in acid, dub, and deep house fog. It’s dance music as both reverie and nocturne, overcast and underground, the perpetual motion of mossy neighborhoods passing in the dark, streetlights smeared by rain.

Thompson speaks of the “desolate peace” of sleepless dawn walks through Southeast Portland, tall trees silhouetted against glowing strip malls. The synthetic and natural worlds fused in greenery and concrete. Jade District feels both immediate and introspective, club tracks for midnight minds, born of distance, dreams, and things unsaid.

Marc Brauner makes his return to the label, this time collaborating with fellow Berliner, Ulrich Harrison - better known by moniker Tender Games - on five summertime sweeteners.

These two producers are no stranger to working together, co-running their own imprint, Nostalgics Records in their home town of Berlin. This collaboration then came together naturally, and represents the ideal blend of Marc Brauner's syncopated rhythmic tendencies, and Tender Games' musical antecedents in soul music and penchant for instrumentation.

'Concrete Jungle' epitomises this fusion: a two-step rhythm carries a deep bassline which cruises beneath a blissed-out trumpet melody. 'You Keep Me Up' and 'Listen' are skippy old school bangers, the former complete with anthemic piano stabs a la Manix and Inner City and the latter peppered with blithe whispers of a saxophone. 'It Makes Me' follows suit, substituting hi-hats for a focus on funk-inflected low ends before the UKG-leaning 'Violation' draws things to a close with MC vocal chops and bass womp ruffage.

Further Instructions was made after downloading a 5 euro Rhodes sample pack, and Beekkant is named after a Molenbeek Metro station. We’ll let you decide in which musical genre they belong.

Spinning records since the early 80’s, Frankie Bones imported Rave culture in the USA after he played Energy in UK in front of +25K. His Brooklyn Storm Raves and unique sound signature were the foundation of the rave movement in the whole United States of America. Frankie Bones had classic releases on Nu Groove, ESP-Sun, Logic, Rave Age, Underworld, Trax, XL, ran the successful Sonic Groove Records shop with brother Adam X aka Traversable Wormhole and Heather Heart and collaborated with Lenny Dee, Nico, Tommy Musto, Joey Beltram, KLF and the The Moody Boys to name a few.

The legendary Bonesbreaks serie started back in 1988 on Underworld Records and are elaborated irresistible sample-based tools for the working D.J.’s and reflects the artist deep love for dope breaks and dirty techno sounds. Rhythm Nation is back on vinyl, with a master of the deeper side of UK house and Detroit-inflected techno, Jayson Wynters.

Following up his 'Exit Wound' digital-only release of last year, which also featured remixes from Phantasy Sound's James Welsh, Jayson drops two brand new tracks as well as a physical pressing of those two originals from the previous release.

'War Heads' is a true late-night wormhole of a track, embarking on a journey of percussion and atmosphere, leading inexorably to the emergence of the warmest pads and the deepest bass.

'Bandwidth' flips the switch to a fresh take on classic electro, maintaining the signature Hayson Wynters sound of drum machines and classic synths that seem to hit just slightly left of where the listener expects.

Orginally released digitally in 2022, 'Exit Wound' and 'Lost City' offer a similar contrast - the former is a bassline-driven peak-time stomper, while the latter takes things deep into real electro with an infectious groove and evergreen textures.

Gallegos is one of my all time favourite producers. Absolutely no question. He has a completely unique sound that to me sounds like it comes partly from his incredible sample digging as well as his one of a kind drum sampling. It’s hard to say for sure what it is but all I know is that I can hear one of this tracks from a mile out. There is an incredible balance of weird shit mixed with super catchy motifs and big time grooves. I wish every day was a Gallegos day!
