Hot on the heels of 12bit Jungle Out There's 'Right Mind' EP, Foundations Records brings you the hotly anticipated follow-up from rising star Arkyn on 'The Spirit EP' Drawing influence from classic '93 era jungle techno on the likes of Basement Records, it's perhaps his most accomplished work to date in his first foray into all hardware production. Arkyn is a UK based DJ and Producer. His production is influenced from a wide range of music he grew up listening to including Reggae, Dub, Soul, Techno and Funk to name a few. After discovering rave music through the underground party scene in Northampton, he began to cut his teeth DJing and has since gone on to play at some of the most established Jungle/Hardcore events in the country including Distant Planet, The Rave Story and Calling The Hardcore among others. He also recently debuted at Fabric for Motive Hunter Audio's takeover. Arkyn has released on FFF's 3am Eternal, Billy Daniel Bunter's Music Mondays and Motive Hunter Audio to name a few. He also runs his own label TufStuf Records. Manchester's Andrew Hargreaves, known for Tape Loop Orchestra and as a founding member of The Boats, returns under his Beppu alias with a refined full-length for dub techno favourites Lempuyang. Fresh from a celebrated double-LP reissue on Organic Analogue, Hargreaves delivers deep, dust-textured techno that is meticulously sculpted and atmospheric. These grooves move with a slow, hypnotic gravity as rhythms become submerged yet remain gripping. The palette is warm, grainy and future-facing so perfect for the real heads. File this somewhere between Detroit Escalator Company and Bluetrain, an immersive, meditative drift that's sure to become a classic.

It’s taken Sealed records more than five years to put this release together but finally it’s here. The one and only Bikini Mutants. The Bikini Mutants were from Yeovil, Somerset and part of the All the Madmen world. In their short life as a band they recorded two demos at Monitor Studios, Milborne Port in Somerset in 1982. Let's Mutate collects these two demos on one LP, along with a 20 page booklet featuring photos, lyrics, reviews, interviews and much more. The band played mostly in Yeovil and the West Country along with the Mob and the Review, and even though they were part of the West Country anarcho scene, the sound was a mix of scratchy post punk and indie pop. Members of the band went on to be in My Bloody Valentine and the Chesterfields. The songs are intricate, delicate and engaging with the drums and bass locked in, the fuzzed out guitar weaving on top and Christine Cole’s angelic voice taking each song to pop heaven. Think a mix of Girls at our Best, Au Pairs and the Marine Girls.

On Dreams ’24 / ’25, Scottish composer Bill Wells turns his nocturnal imagination into a sequence of delicate musical miniatures. The album brings together 24 short pieces, most of them under two minutes, unfolding in just under half an hour like a quietly drifting dream diary.

The album is split into two parts. On the Dreams 2024 side, Norman Blake lends his voice to Wells’ dream-born melodies. Blake, best known as a founding member of Teenage Fanclub, recorded the songs with Wells in a single afternoon at his home, capturing their fragile immediacy in direct and unadorned performances.

For Dreams 2025, Aby Vulliamy — one of Yorkshire’s best kept musical secrets — takes over vocal duties. In mid 2025, Wells sent her a batch of demos; Vulliamy recorded them at home and sent them back to him. The result is a second chapter that feels more introspective, intimate and gently surreal.

The songs themselves are born directly from dreams. Wells wakes from the dream, records it on his mobile and later shapes it into a brief, lyrical composition. One piece, Mackenzie’s Return, was inspired by a dream in which Elvis Costello marched through the streets of a suburban town complaining that he had run out of song ideas, a detail that perfectly captures the album’s blend of humour, strangeness and quiet melancholy.

Dreams ’24 / ’25 is not a collection of fully formed pop songs, but rather a series of fleeting emotional snapshots: soft voices, simple motifs, and melodies that appear and vanish before they can fully settle. It is an album that rewards close listening, inviting the listener into a private, half-lit space somewhere between memory and imagination.

The album is accompanied by a striking cover artwork by Annabel Wright.

Hidden Fires Burn Hottest, the new album from San Francisco-based post-black metal band Bosse-de-Nage, sidesteps this entirely. It’s the group’s most fully realized work yet, precisely because it refuses to be pinned down.

Bosse-de-Nage have been working with The Flenser for over fifteen years. They were one of the first bands the label ever partnered with and have the longest active relationship in the label's history. But unlike most bands who build momentum through constant touring and visibility, Bosse-de-Nage has largely existed apart from the music world's usual machinery. They've evolved on their own terms, in relative isolation, allowing the work to develop without outside pressure or influence. What began rooted in black metal anonymity has mutated into something that actively defies categorization. The aggression is still there, but it's no longer the point. Hidden Fires Burn Hottest finds the band treating emotions like physical objects, feelings with spatial properties. “No Such Place"" describes a space that can't exist but does anyway, somewhere between thought and location. ""Immortality Project"" examines infinite possibility not as promise but as problem, endless options collapsing under their own weight. These songs don't use metaphor to describe emotion. They make emotion into something you could theoretically touch.

For the first time, lyricist Bryan Manning wrote everything in advance, creating a surplus to pull from rather than working under deadline pressure. The difference shows.
Coming off Further Still, an album built on constraint and economy, Bosse-de-Nage sought the opposite: sprawl, strangeness, fewer rules. Space for ideas to develop without rushing them. Dynamics that move through quiet as much as noise. Presence earned through atmosphere instead of volume. The record even includes ""Mementos,"" which might be considered the first love song the band has ever written.

Nothing here coheres into a theme. These are pieces pulled from low moments and private feelings made public through sound. The band has never been interested in positivity, in music that resolves cleanly or offers comfort. But bleakness doesn't mean humorlessness. There's something darkly funny running through much of it, even when it shouldn't be.
Hidden Fires Burn Hottest doesn't explain itself. It just insists: what you feel is as real as what you can see."

Next up on Subterranean Odyssey is Braik with Los Dos Caminos. Hailing from Montevideo, Uruguay he shows his versatility and talent as a producer with another well rounded 4 track EP. The legendary Delano Smith infuses Detroit Techno City with his signature deep and hypnotic touch, while Scotland's Milton Jackson reworks Just The Groove with a dose of his classic rolling house energy. The collaborative Reference (Luke Hess & Brian Kage) Remix of Nordhouse leans into peak time dub-techno atmospheres, while Detroit's newest and finest young talent from the Submerge crew Max Watts takes Galaxian into raw, driving 808 Electro terrain.
This essential four-tracker bridges deep house, techno, electro, and dub, while staying true to the classic and timeless sounds of Detroit’s roots.

Ready for 10 Years since "Guns of Gothenburg"? Here's the last collector's reissue of the "rare and sold out since years"-CS albums on vinyl! The Swedish Punkrockers often heard that their 3rd album "Guns of Gothenburg" is still their best release! The combination of riot street punk, pub rock anthems, some high energy glam-elements and melodic rough'n'tough Oi! was considered as an absolute genre-highlight 2016 "Guns of Gothenburg features 12 songs like "Kids from the Streets", "United we stand", "Fuck the Upper Class" or "Street Punk Bop", which is still the encore-highlight at every City Saints show Stefan, singer and bandleader about the new release: "When we released Guns of Gothenburg on CD back in 2016, we felt that the songs were good, but we soon began having doubts about the mix of the album. In 2017, when we were approached to release it on vinyl, we had it remixed and remastered with a new song order. This version never made it onto the streaming services, and the limited edition of the LP has been out of print for a long time. Now we're thrilled to present this re-release of Guns of Gothenburg. The original painting used for the cover has been dusted off and restored and the recording has been remastered once again to bring it closer to our original vision. We sincerely hope you enjoy it. "Guns of Gothenburg" comes on 180gr. strongly limited vinyl in classic black and two multi-colored variants (only 333 copies all in all)

While many have tried to emulate the ancient German (black)thrash sound, CRUEL FORCE brimmed with an authenticity that could not be denied, as well as songwriting that added to that noble tradition rather than lazily picking at its corpse. Their two successive albums, 2010's The Rise of Satanic Might and 2011's Under the Sign of the Moon, made CRUEL FORCE a certifiably CULT name in the international metal underground. Sadly, the band fell into a hiatus following that second album, but returned reinvigorated with the comeback 7" EP Across the Styx in 2022 and, a year later, the glorious full- length Dawn of the Axe at the hands of new label home SHADOW KINGDOM. Continuing to make up for lost time, CRUEL FORCE storm back with swords gleaming high on their fourth full- length, Haneda.

Where a line could be drawn between the band's "first era" of The Rise of Satanic Might / Under the Sign of the Moon, so continues this Second Era that began with Dawn of the Axe - one that harkens to the "Jurassic period" of heavy metal, when everything was rawer, less polished, and more energetic and powerful. As displayed by that pivotal predecessor, Haneda further proves that CRUEL FORCE are more so an old-style speed metal band, largely bereft of that blackened edge during their First Era. The tradeoff is that there's a prominent mysticism coursing through that speed, and the blue-collared aspect of Dawn of the Axe is now spit-shined to a lethal slickness that makes Haneda hit that much harder.

However, it must be stressed that, while it follows logically from Dawn of the Axe, Haneda is very much its own headspace, its own continuation of a still-vital aesthetic. At times more epic, exuding both more and different atmospheres, CRUEL FORCE here take the listener on a journey from old temples to desert planes, from deep jungles to mountain tops, and other mysterious locales beyond; indeed, the whole record is like a journey through mystical realms. Although no concept album, Haneda is very conceptual in its aesthetics, even down to its production: BIG and naturaltoned, from the guitars to especially the drums, everything here is as '80s and authentic as possible, underlining

Evighet proudly unveils its fifth release, EVIGHET005, featuring the Sky City EP by Dave N.A., the prolific producer from Yerevan known for his refined sound design and emotionally resonant compositions. With a catalog that spans labels such as Typeless Records and Uppers & Downers, his work continues to bridge precision and sensitivity, exploring the borders between rhythmic architecture and ambient introspection. On Sky City EP, Dave N.A. constructs an intricate sonic landscape where lush atmospheres coexist with fractured breaks and IDM-inspired rhythms. Rooted in the traditions of Jungle and Breakbeat yet unbound by genre, each piece reveals a narrative built from texture, movement and space. His music invites reflection while maintaining a dynamic forward energy, evoking the sense of motion through memory and dreamlike transitions. A central moment in the release is “Bloom”, which features a collaboration with Hayk Karoyi on flute. His performance adds an organic depth and melodic fluidity, weaving through electronic layers with warmth and clarity. The result is a delicate interplay between human breath and machine pulse, blurring the boundary between the natural and the synthetic. Sky City EP marks a new chapter for Evighet, reaffirming the label’s dedication to sound as a medium of exploration and storytelling. Through this release, Dave N.A. captures both emotional immediacy and compositional detail, expanding the label’s evolving narrative with a vision that feels deeply personal yet universally resonant.

The album is most famous due to the lead single "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)". The band's over the top image gave the group their unique identity. Another huge single hit is the disco influenced "Lover Come Back to Me", in which the singer is pining over a love interest. Glam rock and goth music are mixed together both in their music as their image. Youthquake is an interesting and energetic example of how you're going to start the party. Dead or Alive found success in the mid-1980s and sold over 50 million records worldwide. Founder and vocalist Pete Burns passed away in 2016 and since the band discontinued.
