House favourites Kai Alce, JKriv, Sean McCabe and Medlar debut on Universo Positivo with their masterful reworks from Universo Positivo’s catalog. After two years of agenda-setting sounds, the label is set to drop this classy remix EP, and in that time, founder Joseph Salvador has established the label with a mix of his own music and fresh grooves from carefully A&R’d pioneers and new school names. He has been doing much the same since the 90s with various projects from his cult TINK Records and the Tomorrow Is Now Kid! nights in Amsterdam, in collaborative production outfits like Black Tulip & Wendell Morrison, and releasing records by DJ Steaw, Malin Genie, Fabio Monesi and more. This latest release brings together some of the most respected names in the scene for four standout reworks.

First up, Atlanta-based NDATL label head Kai Alce, who has long been one of deep house's most influential architects. He flips 'Sonido Latino' into a smooth groove with jazzy, Roy Ayers-style melodies that bring a soft-focus glow and late-night intimacy. Then comes Bristol-based don Sean McCabe, a master of vintage synths with a 20-year back catalogue on seminal labels like Local Talk, Strictly Rhythm and Z Records. His take on 'Ipanema Jazz' maintains the original's samba shuffle but reframes it in a deep house groove with extra expressive jazz keys, dainty chords and playful trumpet motifs.

Brooklyn-based groove architect and Razor-N-Tape co-founder JKriv brings his many years of experience as a guitarist, producer and songwriter to his take on 'Caparica Sunset'. It's a deep, driving sound that's playful and romantic with flirtatious horns and soft acid, dusty breakbeats and luscious grooves for loved-up good time sessions. Last but never least, is Medlar, the South London underground maverick with a wide-ranging sound and album credits on the likes of the hallowed Delusions Of Grandeur. He remixes 'U R The Revolution' into a warm, euphoric rush of throwback house that's warm, melodic and sure to get the floor going right off.

Swiss label keepitgoing. returns with La Buena Muerte, a three-tracker uniting Ricardo Villalobos & Washington Miranda, Siddhartha, and Wata with Jorge González of Los Updates — a cross-section of Chile’s most vital electronic voices brought together on one record.

The EP opens with Bajo Tierra – Mis Juguetes, a ten-minute drift of slow-burning minimalism where Villalobos’ elastic modular textures and patient rhythmic detail entwine with Miranda’s hypnotic vocal, processed and stretched into new shapes and forms — a continuation of the deep, organic dialogues the pair first explored on De Cada Uno in 2022. On the flip, Siddhartha – Poema 4 slides into minimal electro and broken beat territory, sparse yet restless. Razor-sharp drums and pulsing bass unfold through dynamic structures that thrives on tension and space where a menacing voice cuts through with insistence. Closing the record, Wata – El Soul de Los Que Sobran (feat. Jorge González) brings González’s unmistakable voice into Wata’s playful framework, a looser, rather light-hearted cut where percussion and gentle melodies expand the palette and connect the EP back to Chile’s rich electronic lineage.

With artwork by Damian Schopf, brother of Martin Schopf aka Dandy Jack, La Buena Muerte stands as a collective statement of Chilean experimentalism — free of borders, rooted in collaboration, and tuned for the floor.

But few are aware that, between the late 1960s and the late 1980s, Italy wrote a parallel one — spontaneous, surprising, and incredibly creative.

It is a story that spans two distinct seasons: the Italian disco of the 1970s — melodic, handmade, sometimes naïve yet always original — and the emerging Italo Disco of the 1980s, electronic, futuristic, and lightheartedly projected toward the future.
Two different languages, yet both driven by the same desire for freedom and modernity. Discoteca Sound — Italian Discoteca Underground 1975–1986 brings together 18 rare tracks — including two previously unreleased — that tell this story of transition: from the orchestral and sentimental disco of Italian dance halls to the synthetic and visionary sound of the first drum machines.
A journey through private archives, local labels, regional studios, and forgotten voices — the sonic map of a country that has always danced, but to its own rhythm. From Mediterranean disco to the first Italo Disco, from the dim lights of provincial dance halls to the early home synthesizers, each track opens a window onto an Italy that dreamed of the dance floor as a universal language of connection during the brief season of revolutionary utopias.

This compilation celebrates ten years of work by Disco Segreta — a decade dedicated to the research, recovery, and appreciation of Italian disco and electronic culture. An act of justice owed to all those artists who had their moment yet were never remembered by history — bringing back to light an essential, still too little known part of our musical heritage.
Because dancing today remains, more than ever, a living act of memory.

Housmose launches its new CLUB CUTS series with Vol.1, a curated five-track vinyl showcasing the raw, deep, soulful, and garage-inspired sounds that define the label’s spirit.

Limited to 300 hand-numbered copies (200 black, 100 red), this first edition captures a timeless club essence - from punchy grooves to late-night introspection. Deeleegenz opens the record with “M.W.H.I.”, a fierce and energetic cut packed with garage swing and raw punch - the perfect statement for the series debut. When Jamie Jones and Nicole Moudaber first collaborated on Hot Creations in 2020 with ‘Pepper Shake’, five years on, the pair return with ‘Where All My People’, a powerful anthem that merges Jamie’s signature groove-led style with Nicole’s unmistakable drive and energy. The record is further elevated by the infectious vocals of London-based duo House Of Molly, ‘Where All My People’ is a celebration of rhythm, anchored by a rolling bassline and crisp percussion that form a tight, understated groove. House of Molly’s commanding vocal hook runs through the track like a thread of energy, adding a human touch that feels both intimate and anthemic. Marking his second outing on Hot Creations, OMRI. is back with ‘Release The Pressure’, a pulsating, groove-driven heater made for full-throttle moments featuring Benny Ola on vocals. On the flip Joshwa makes a much-anticipated return to Hot Creations with ‘Lost In Music’ which reimagines a timeless disco classic through a contemporary house lens, delivering textured percussion, sparkling funk-laced synths, and an infectious groove that captures the euphoria of sweat-drenched dancefloors.As Hot Creations celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2025, label co-founder Lee Foss makes a long-awaited return to the imprint for the first time in half a decade with a powerful new collaboration alongside Colorado based talent GS5. ‘In The Ghetto’ hits with low-slung swagger and vibrant vocal energy, channelling a bass-heavy strut and hypnotic vocal loops that nod to early Hot Creations flavours while pushing into contemporary terrain.

The fifth transmission in the XTRICTLY ELEKTRO series connects the past and future of the genre in one powerful statement.

Side A channels the sharp, forward-driven pulse of the new school — EC13, Elektrotechnik, and Parand deliver cutting-edge vibes built for the modern floor. Big Love label boss Seamus Haji commits four of the label’s pristine releases to wax for the fourth edition of ‘A Touch Of Love’, opening up the compilation himself with ‘Wish’, made with Full Intention’s Michael Gray and featuring vocals from current Chic singer-songwriter Audrey Martells.

This collaboration of legends is followed by another from Mark Lower & Fleur De Mur, this time with the fiery nu-disco track ‘Burn For Love’ before one half of NiCe7, FrescoEdits continues to develop his uplifting, loop-based sound with the disco-inspired ‘Get Free’. Closing out this eclectic release of Big Love favourites, London-based duo Saison and their motivational collaboration with Kameelah Waheed, ‘Be Yourself’.

Țaru, the non-profit label from Romania, returns with an exquisite 2x12" 180g vinyl album featuring minimal gems from Dragomir, Broascka, Gringow and Sensek. Expertly mastered by Manmade Mastering and crafted by handle with care manufacturing, this release promises exceptional quality — from the vibrant artwork to the meticulously produced tracks.

Staying true to its mission, all proceeds from this release will be donated to dog shelters and NGOs supporting stray pups.

Buckle up tight for a kayo showdown as Jay Gadian, Maikee, DAT and Baumb unleash four club-ready slabs of acid-bleep and garage-tech hybrids on the «nal Terrazzo compilation.

King Street Sounds return for the fifth sampler in the series. This release showcases four releases from six house music aficionados such as Mood II Swing, DJ Romain, Jon Cutler, Studio Apartment, Quentin Harris and Pal Joey under his Loop Trick guise.

The EP opens with New York duo Mood II Swing’s “Driving Me Crazy” originally released in 1995 and still sounds as good now, 30 years later. Up next is DJ Romain & Jon Cutler with De Ja Vu (Mr.V Roots Main Mix) featuring Jeannie Hopper delivering a mesmerizing vocal. This one’s built for those dim lit rooms.

Kicking things off on the B side is “Beat Freak” (The Shelter Dub) by Loop Trick (otherwise known as Pal Joey). An already outstanding record got a distinguished touch up from New York house legends Blaze.

Drawing this wonderful EP to a close is Studio Apartment featuring Terrance Downs with “We Are Lonely” (Quentin Harris Vocal Mix). The NYC legend adds his deft touch to the Japanese duo’s soulful offering.

Flip it over for Dave’s super soulful 4/4 workout of 'Look at the Stars' featuring Maurissa Rose and the brand new Opolopo - 'Looking For You', a deep and bouncy cut filled with soulful Motown vocal chops and an Organ workout worthy of any Sunday service. Next up on Toolroom’s 4-track vinyl sampler series is a tasty collab from label founder, Mark Knight who teams up with rapidly rising talent Crusy for a staunch collaboration ‘Daddy Shhh’. A fiery club heavy cut, focusing on Toolroom’s founder’s speciality of Tribal Tech House, ‘Daddy Shhh’ is a record made for the dance floor specifically. Mixing high energy grooves, Latin percussion and rolling tech bass line that’ll keep you moving until the early hours.

Next up, we’re welcoming UK selector and producer Huxley who drops brand new single, ‘All I Need’. An artist not bound by conventional genres, Huxley’s sound shifts and melds into whatever fits the record, and that is certainly true when listening to ‘All I Need’. Coming through with a lush, Deep House synth vibe and an earworm vocal that melts into the mix before launching into Classic UK House style bass stabs means only one thing, a straight up belter.

Up next is another heater from Liverpudlian DJ and producer ESSEL who returns to the label with ‘Lennon’. An artist well versed in the art of hit-making; ESSEL has been a firm fixture of the Toolroom family over the past few years. A darker take on her typical vibe, ‘Lennon’ is a record that skirts the edge of her sound, tipping over into clubland and we have to say, it’s absolutely class. If there’s ever a glass ceiling above then ESSEL is sure to smash straight through it, she certainly is an exciting new prospect and without doubt one to watch.

Last but not least, we see the return of powerhouse DJ and production duo Leftwing : Kody who team up with fast-rising producer James Hurr on their debut outing ‘Music Is the Medication’. Reggae vocalist I Jah also features, bringing some Ragga styled heat to the record. ‘Music Is The Medication’ is a sublime record, mixing a tough, Tech House focused vibe with UKG styled breaks and a straight to the point Ragga vocal overlayed for maximum delivery means only one thing, a certified banger.

Next up, Parisian born and US based tech house producer Shiba San debuts on Toolroom with a seriously wonky affair alongside studio buddy, Ayarez, aptly titled ‘Twist It’.

Up next on the sampler, is the return of longstanding label favourite Friend Within with his rolling tech house banger ‘Pilka’.
