Two years only after Il paese del tramonto', Unreal City return with a new work, Frammenti notturni'. If the two previous albums (the debut album La crudeltà di aprile' was released in 2013) contributed to spread the band's name all around the international progressive scene, thanks to concerts played in Europe and overseas at the Canadian Terra Incognita festival, this third chapter is destined to consolidate their status as one of the of the most important names in the Italian prog-rock panorama.

The album, divided into five long tracks, is as usual characterized by the dark atmospheres that we already encountered in the band's first two records, the sound and the production are far more modern than the past ones, but echoes of the '70s progressive rock music are still very present, as they've always been a trademark for the group. Frammenti notturni' is not a concept album in the true sense of the word, but its lyrics have some common themes, such as the urban setting and the obstacles that interferes with communication among humans.

John Weldon J. J.' Cale was an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Though he avoided the limelight (being temperamentally averse to celebrity), his influence as a musical artist has been widely acknowledged by artists like Mark Knopfler, Neil Young, and Eric Clapton, who described him as one of the most important artists in the history of rock.
J.J. Cale is considered to be one of the originators of the Tulsa Sound, a loose genre drawing on blues, rockabilly, country, and jazz.

Cale unfortunately passed away in 2013, but his legacy lives on.

Number 10 is Cale's 10th album and contains another wonderful and laid back/mellow collection of typical J.J. Cale tunes. Traces', Artificial Paradise', Low Rides' and Jailes' are considered part of his best 1990s songs.

We celebrate the 25th anniversary of Number 10 by pressing a limited run of 1.000 copies on 180 gram silver vinyl.

The Primevals- Dislocation (CD and Vinyl, Triple Wide/TSB) Released 29th June, 2017. The Primevals, Glasgow's premier exponents of raw garage rock formed in 1983. After demo-ing some songs they self-released single Where Were You' on their own label. This garnered enough interest for legendary Parisian label New Rose to sign the band who then released Eternal Hotfire', a mini album that saw them gain considerable amounts of press and radio both locally and internationally. Soundhole' and Live A Little' quickly followed this startling debut over the next three years. Touring Europe with The Cramps (the Date With Elvis' tour being a high point) and others, The Primevals consolidated their fiery onstage reputation with 1988's live set Neon Oven', released on 53rd and 3rd Records. With five BBC sessions over this period (there's a Strange Fruit vinyl release of one of the Peel sessions) and tracks on a variety of compilation and tribute albums including Captain Beefheart, Suicide and The Byrds, this was a fertile period for the band. 1990 saw The Primevals release Dig' which was produced by Jack Endino of Nirvana and Mudhoney fame. With interest at home and abroad dwindling, the band took a moratorium for several years until commencing live shows again in 1996. New Rose then released a 2 CD compilation called On The Red Eye' which quickly reignited interest in the band. The band then formed their own label, Triple Wide, they then released the critically acclaimed There Is No Other Life...And This Is It' in 2007. They followed this with the double whammy of Disinhibitor' (2011) and Heavy War' (2012), both on CD and vinyl which saw The Primevals reach ever new heights in the quest for garage punk/free jazz/raw blues perfection. 2015's Tales Of Endless Bliss' saw the band better their earlier releases and glowing reviews, including a feature in Vive Le Rock magazine, consolidated their comeback. Re-releases of the decades-out-of-print Eternal Hotfire' and Soundhole' also arrived in 2015 and made the world a better place with their presence. With long-time involvement in both the Jeffrey Lee Pierce Project (of Gun Club infamy, another past touring partner) and homeless charity projects in their hometown The Primevals have rarely let the grass grow under their feet. Their live reputation remains as an energetic, intense and slightly unhinged presence and one never knows what to expect from a Primevals show. This is a band that has the voodoo, have no doubts. One of the holy grail of the minimal synth and one of the most obscure musical projects ever produced in Italy is finally reissued on Mannequin Records.
Originally released in 1981 by Broadbean Records, a sub-label of LM Records, Flo & Andrew only release 'Take Suicide' was home-recorded and home-mixed by the duo in Bologna, using early drum machines like the Boss Dr-55 and the Korg Kr-55, analog synthesizers, guitar, saxophone, tape loops. Flo & Andrew music is truly unique and exemplifies the fact that limitation can be the perfect source for creativity. The title-track and 'To Committ Suicide' travel through contort and nervous synth sounds and loops, taking somehow inspiration from the No Wave heroes, while 'Japanese Girls' is nothing less than a beautiful minimal electronics track in the mythology of the futuristic rise of Japanese country. Recently (re)discovered, 'Take Suicide' is a milestone of the European minimal synth singles and is not really a coincidence that a young generations of producers take it as inspiration (you can see 'Take Suicide' floating in the tracklist of artists as Helena Hauff and NGLY). Another must have in your collection / record bag!

Albert Puig, Andreu Ferreres, Joan Pujol, Miquel Griño and Xavier Amela, five friends from Barcelona, shared their talent to create Los Jemax in the mid-sixties. They played their own songs and covers of the bands they listened to the international radio stations, such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Bob Dylan, The Animals, Wilson Pickett... Their gigs in clubs and discotheques (San Carlos Club, Gogo, Peter's Club...) were amazing and full of energy. They became a very popular band in their city, specially when they were the winners of a contest hosted by Radio Barcelona. The prize was a contract with Columbia to release two singles. They recorded four songs under the direction of José María Solá, the musical boss of the label. There were published three postcards to promote the upcoming 7's. But all of them were never released because of intern changes in Columbia. Los Jemax played alongside Los Canarios, Lone Star, Los Sirex, Tete Montoliu, Palito Ortega, Micky y los Tonis... and in several TV commercials. With a repertoire of almost 100 songs that they recorded in the rehearsals at the attic of Joan's family house, the tapes have been ketp in a drawer for 50 years. Now, Madmua Records shares these gems with you. The dreams of these boys have become real.

THE SINGLES shows the creative chemistry shared by drummer John Densmore, guitarist Robby Krieger, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, and vocalist Jim Morrison, four brilliant artists who made The Doors one of America's most iconic and influential rock bands.
The collection includes the single versions from all six of the landmark studio albums the quartet released between 1967 and 1971, including classics like People Are Strange,' Love Her Madly' and Riders On The Storm.' Also included on the CD versions are four mono radio versions of some of the band's biggest hits, such as Hello, I Love You' and Touch Me,' which have never been made available anywhere after being sent to radio around their original release. The B-sides - many of which are making their CD debut - add another dimension to the band's legacy with such stellar tracks as Who Scared You,' which appeared in March 1969 as the flipside to Wishful Sinful,' and a cover of Willie Dixon's (You Need Meat) Don't Go No Further,' which was paired with the 1971 smash Love Her Madly.'
THE SINGLES also features several songs released after Morrison's passing in 1971. Among those recordings are tracks the surviving trio recorded together ( Tightrope Ride' and The Mosquito'), as well as live selections from posthumous releases ( Roadhouse Blues' and Gloria.')

July were a psychedelic rock band from Ealing, London that lasted barely a year, leaving behind one of the most sought-after LPs of the British psychedelic boom.

The band's music was a blend of psychedelic rock and psychedelic pop, marked by lush harmonies, acoustic guitars, keyboards, and intricate lead guitar work. Although none of the band's records managed to chart in the UK or the U.S., July are today best remembered for their songs My Clown', Dandelion Seeds', and The Way', which are all included on the debut album July.

Ten Years After's self-titled debut hit the British blues scene with the subtlety and precision of a wrecking ball in 1967, serving notice that what had once been confined to steamy haunts in London was now there for the world to hear. Cut live with vocals overdubbed later, Ten Years After is an impressive debut, showing off a tight band steeped not only in blues, but rockabilly, jazz, folk and even occasionally psychedelia.

Rightly regarded as one of the best live albums of its era, Undead is reissued here in its rare mono mix, which has been out of print everywhere for nearly 50 years. It's very much alive on this vinyl edition, which features primo sound and the beautiful negative-image original cover.

The album paved the way for the band's acclaimed performance at Woodstock, which ensured regular placement on the album charts for years to come. The Vaccines have announced details of the release of Dream Lover, the new single from their forthcoming third album, English Graffiti.
The single is available now digitally with pre-orders of the album and will also be released on Columbia Records as a limited edition blue vinyl 7' on Monday 18th May 2015.

The single was recorded in the winter of 2014 at Dave Fridmann'sTarbox Road Studio in upstate New York as part of the album sessions and produced by The Vaccines, Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Tame Impala, MGMT) and Cole MGN (Ariel Pink, Beck, Nite Jewel).
It features the B-side Dream Lover Reimagined (Malcolm Zillion edit), a reinterpretation of the track by Cole MGN.

The video for the single is a stylishly shot pastiche of classic early '80s sci-fi films directed by CANADA (http://vimeo.com/lawebdecanada), an international collective of directors based in Barcelona. CANADA previously worked with the band on the video to their last track, Handsome, a homage to Hong Kong kung-fu films.
With dream lover we wanted to continue that b-movie aesthetic and bubblegum escapism we achieved in the Handsome video, and continue collaborating with CANADA,' explained Justin Young. To me Dream Lover sounds otherworldly, and the perfect combination of retro and future and so I think the theme of the video fits the song and us as a band perfectly. We've always been fans of camp space adventure and so it was pretty fun getting to bring one of our own to life.

Having recently returned from a run of shows at this year's SxSW Festival in Austin, Texas, the band are currently in the middle of a sold-out UK tour playing exclusive and intimate shows, visiting some regional towns and cities for the first time in their career.

As well as a collection of rare and un-issued tracks from the Golden era "Le Beat Bespoke" is an international festival every Easter in London. This is volume seven of this popular series and like its predecessors LBB7 is restored and mastered to the highest standard. The selections are sequenced like a fast-moving DJ set featuring current dancefloor hits, new discoveries, unreleased gems and an exclusive Dr Robert re-mix. The songs in this collection are obscure underground sixties club sounds overlooked on release but revered by dj's, dancers and collectors today. Dr Robert first tests these discs out at London club night the Mousetrap where the cool and curious gather for nights of hipshakin' fun, once satisfied they have passed 'The Mousetrap test' he starts spinning them on his DJ adventures. Some of these songs have made it onto this album for your dancing, listening and partying pleasure!
