Song für mich zu schreiben, dachte ich nicht einmal daran, dass es ein Country-Song sein würde - aber
natürlich war er es, und er war so schön. Ich hatte zu der Zeit EPs gemacht und dachte, wir würden eine
Country-EP machen - aber als er mir neun Songs brachte, wusste ich, dass wir ein Album machen mussten!
Und ich bin so froh, dass wir das getan haben. Es war eine Freude, es zu machen, und ich hoffe, dass es

Rising Wings wurde 2006 von Florian "Flo" Bauer als One-Man Melodic Rock Band gegründet. Florian Bauer spielt seit Jahren in verschiedenen Rockformationen, wie der AOR-Band Youringa und der Hardrock Band Saviors Cry. 2006 & 2008 erschienen die ersten EPs. Weitere Singles erschienen mit sehr positiven Feedback. Nun endlich das erste Full Lenght Album "Reach". Auf dem Album sind Florian Bauer an Gesang, Gitarre, Bass und Keyboards sowie Franz Raßhofer (Joe Leila), Falco Münch (Reload), Markus Herzinger (2nd East) und Bobby Santiago (Bloodwork) am Schlagzeug zu hören. Das Album wurde von Ray Balconis im Studio Ray Recording in Queens, New York, von Rolf Beyer und Peter Hillinger in den Klangwasserstudios Halsbach und von Chris Lausmann im MS Productions Studio in Poing, München, aufgenommen. Florian Bauer und Chris Lausmann (Bonfire, Voices Of Rock) haben das Album im MS Production Studio produziert und gemischt.

Two killer tracks of erotic psychedelia with a jazzy twist and touches of acid rock by the French cabaret star Rita and Chilean rock pioneers Aguaturbia. A perfect soundtrack to an imaginary sexploitation film, half-way between the classic sound of library records and a progressive and hypnotic musical journey driven by fuzzy guitars. French actress, model, dancer and singer Rita Cadillac, local star at well-known Parisian cabarets like Crazy Horse or Folies Bergère, recorded several 45s in the 1960s. In 1969, and most likely following the success of the Welsh band Man (from whom they "took inspiration" when recorded this 'Erotica'), released this song that could have easily worked as the perfect soundtrack for a sexploitation movie. Rita's sensual voice is wrapped in a piece of background music that could have been taken from a classic library record from the KPM, Chappell or Montparnasse 2000 catalogues. Hammond-driven prog jazzy passages, subtle fuzzy guitar solos and a contagious bassline all delivered by some anonymous studio band accompanied by Rita's provocative whispers and moans. This 7"-only rarity has been compiled many times over the years, but we thought it would be nice to have it reissued in its original format. What better than another song in a similar vein and identical title, 'Erotica' by Chilean rock pioneers Aguaturbia, to complete this single? Denise's alluring vocals dance harmoniously with Carlos' electrifying guitar loaded with fuzz and wah wah effects, building up a progressive and hypnotic musical journey. This song was included in their much sought-after debut LP and we present it here again as the perfect accompaniment to the sensual Rita.

As a founding member of innovative Brazilian psychedelic group Os Mutantes, Rita Lee’s reputation is assured as a ground-breaking pioneer. Born Rita Lee Jones in 1947 in the upscale Vila Mariana district of Sao Paulo, Rita’s father was an American descended from a Confederate soldier who moved to Brazil at the end of the US Civil War, her mother a Brazilian of Italian origin. After studying piano with renowned musician Magdalena Tagliaferro, Lee switched to the drums. In 1966, she formed Os Mutantes with Sergio Dias andArnaldo Baptista, introducing psychedelia to Brazil with their debut album. On the edge of the Tropicalia movement, Os Mutantes collaborated with Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil, prior to their London exile and released five albums before disbanding in 1972, with Lee also issued two solo albums, produced with Mutantes collaborators. She then formed the short-lived psychedelic folk duo Cilibrinas Do Eden with Lucia Turnbull (the daughter of a Scottish father and Brazilian mother who had played in London with The Solid British Hat Band before returning to Brazil in 1972), but despite a high profile performance at the Phono 73 festival, the project was something of a critical failure, leading Lee and Turnbull to form Tutti Frutti with members of Sao Paulo rock band Lisergia, this time aiming for a glam-rock sound. Third album Entradas E Bandeiras was released by Som Livre in 1976 and recorded at Studio Eldoradowith producer Wagner Baldinato; opening track “Corista De Rock” describes our gal as a “Rock Chorist,” and there’s a Boston-like guitar solo mid-way through from Luis Sergio Carlini to prove the point. “Lady Babel” has a repeated “Hoo Hoo” chorus, while “Coisas Da Vida” is more contemplative; “Bruxa Amarela” has nods to psychedelia in Sergio Della Monica’s tubular bells, but Carlini’s harmonica and slide guitar bend it back to the blues.

One of the absolute classics from the Swedish prog-rock scene, for the first time ever on vinyl! The Hemulic Voluntary Band (2007) is the fourth studio album by Swedish progressive rock band Ritual. Its title references a fictional brass band from Tove Jansson's Moomin universe, but the music leans more toward folk, symphonic rock, and '70s-style prog, resulting in a richly imaginative sound. Divine Invasions is the sophomore release from Welsh electro post-rock duo Ritual Cloak. The album builds on the cinematic soundscape themes of their debut, with the addition of vocals scattered throughout the record.
Work on Divine Invasions began as soon as the first album had been finished back in September 2019. The first album saw sparing use of guitar, instead mainly writing around piano. When it came to writing the second, Sanders and Barnett didn’t want to fall into the same routine, choosing to embrace exploring new sounds, experiment with new effects, making guitars sound like synths and using vocals for the first time.
The title Divine Invasions is inspired by the Philip K Dick biography. Dick was plagued by nervous breakdowns and driven to near insanity by visions of God.

The story of Ritual Howls begins in a southwest Detroit basement in the early winter of 2012. Singer/guitarist Paul Bancell had been writing and performing solo as well as in several bands and was looking for collaborators for a new project. Ben Saginaw (bass) and Chris Samuels (synths, drums, drum machines) were acquatances that became natural fits. With the help of a friend (Jeff Navarre), they recorded their first full-length in Ben's art studio using a laptop. Paul tracked vocals at home in his bedroom and, not wanting to relinquish control, mixed and mastered the album himself. A formidable introduction to the band's haunting, cinematic blend of twangy industrial rock, their self-titled album established the band as a unique force in the landscape of dark music, both past and present. Pedals is the second studio album from post-hardcore band Rival Schools, released 10 years after their debut record United by Fate was first released. Pedals was recorded by the entire original cast, whom were seen as a tremendous influence within the post-hardcore movement.

Where United by Fate was an album often ready to burst at the seams with energy, Pedals shows a more matured and controlled feel, even somewhat experimental at moments with bass tones and frequent use of acoustic guitars and distortion effects.

Nach Regen kommt Sonne, auf Nacht folgt Tag - und wer erfolgreich die Dunkelheit bekämpft hat, bringt das Licht: Gut zwei Monate nach dem Album " DARKFIGHTER ", das in die deutschen Top 20 kam, haben Rival Sons mit " LIGTHBRINGER " ihre zweite LP des Jahres 2023 für den 20. Oktober angekündigt.

Wie der Titel schon suggeriert, handelt es sich dabei um ein Schwesteralbum des Vorgängers.

Über " LIGHTBRINGER " sagt Scott Holiday, Gitarrist der zweifach Grammy-nominierten Band aus Kalifornien: " Wenn man zwei Alben direkt hintereinander macht, gibt es viele Dinge zu bedenken. Das fünfte Studioalbum der polnischen Rockmeister RIVERSIDE aus dem Jahr 2013 ist endlich wieder auf Vinyl erhältlich: 10th Anniversary Re-Issue als Ltd. Edition transp. hellblau 2LP auf 180g Vinyl, inkl. 4-seitigem LP-Booklet und den beiden "Night Session" Bonustracks. "Shrine of New Generation Slaves" wurde im Serakos Studio in Warschau, Polen (wo auch die "Reality Dream"-Trilogie entstand) mit Magda Srzednicka und Robert Srzednicki aufgenommen, gemixt und gemastert.
