DELUXE VINYL EDITION!!!
"Houses of the Molé" is the ninth studio album by industrial metal band Ministry, originally released in 2004. The album is the first part of the band's anti-Bush trilogy, followed by Rio Grande Blood (2006) and The Last Sucker (2007). It was released in the run up to the 2004 American presidential elections, with George W. Bush being president at the time of its release. In 2005, Houses of the Molé was ranked No. 434 in Rock Hard magazine's book of The 500 Greatest Rock & Metal Albums of All Time.

ilent Front have been playing their unique brand of abrasive noise-rock since the late 90s. Over the course of these years they've released numerous singles and splits alongside the likes of Concentration Champ (featuring a pre-Pulled Apart by Horses Lee Vincent) Tiger Force, Shield Your Eyes and A Kitchen is a Happy Kitchen, culminating in their debut full length album 'Dead Lake' in 2010. They also found time to start a record label (Triplejump, in 2010), and put on regular DIY shows in London in Kingston. The band have toured across the UK and Europe extensively visiting cities and towns in Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria and Ireland sharing the stage with the likes of The Hope Conspiracy, Black Elk, Pneu, Hey Colossus, Kong, Cough, Narrows, Attack! Vipers! and That Fucking Tank. New album 'Trust' set for release on 3rd Feb through Function Records is a fierce and gut-wrenching record. With nods to noise rock pioneers such as Shellac and The Jesus Lizard it's an album that could happily sit alongside any of their peers' releases during the 90s. At times it's an awkward, unyielding and even uncomfortable listen but as with all great records it's a rewarding one

The Boutique Label presents an expanded vinyl edition of Backdoor Possibilities, the sixth album by cult German prog rockers Birth Control, originally released on the Brain Records imprint in 1976.

Formed in Berlin in 1968, Birth Control were known for a progressive hard rock sound which fused elements of jazz, psychedelia and so-called Krautrock. A surreal concept suite recorded with famed producer Conny Plank, Backdoor Possibilities arguably marked a final creative peak, blending rock, jazz, classical and avant-garde stylings with intricate polyrhythmic textures and lyrical nods to the legends of Faust and Odysseus.

On Backdoor Possibilties core members Bernd Noske (drums, vocals) and Bruno Frenzel (guitar) were joined by keyboard maestro Zeus B. Held, who also features on two long improvised tracks featured on Disc 2, Figure Out the Weather and Shake Those Crazy Nights, both recorded with Conny Plank in 1976. All material on Disc 2 is previously unreleased, with third track Rock It With a Long Bone being another extended piece recorded at Dierks Studio in 1982.

Virginia/North Carolina-based cult Loincloth reveal details of the upcoming LP, Psalm Of The Morbid Whore. This marks their second and final full-length release, again via the masters of heavy, Southern Lord Recordings.

Packing nine new instrumental passages of white-knuckled twists, and by-the-throat percussion, into a half-hour onPsalm Of The Morbid Whore. As with their 2012-released Southern Lord debut LP, Iron Balls Of Steel , Loincloth returned to Pershing Hill Sound in Raleigh, North Carolina to record with Greg Elkins. Masteringby Brad Boatright (Sleep, Corrosion Of Conformity, Sunn O))), Obituary) at Audiosiege.

About the release, the band made the following statement, Loincloth is no longer a live band, so this record is our final offering not only to the great horned one below, but to the committed ladies and gentlemen of the Cloth.'

Loincloth is a culmination of years of worshiping at the altar of the riff and Psalm Of The Morbid Whore arrives with the promise of absolute pummel! Guitarist Tannon Penland and drummer Steve Shelton (Confessor) return with their twisted brand of instrumental metal on the forthcoming LP, this time around also enlisting the infernal hands of Tomas Phillips on bass, who collaborated with Penland in experimental outfit Gauchiste for their self-titled 2012's release through Little Black Cloud Records. Penland, Shelton, and Phillips were joined by guitarist Craig Hiltonwho contributed towards the composition and on tour with Sunn O))) and at festivals from Barcelona's Day OfDoom and Power Of The Riff inLos Angeles, to Richmond's GWAR-B-Q.

Join Loincloth in their final hour of worship...

+ Pitchfork: #21 best metal album of the year
+ Consequence of Sound: #5 best metal album of the year
+ Treble Zine: #9 best metal album of the year

Throughout the sixty-minute run time of the album, False dive deeper into the realm of visceral and relentless black metal for which they've become well-known. Their live sound and ferocity is finally captured here, revealing a whole new depth and
darkness that has only been hinted at on previous recordings.

This album is far from a simple exercise in listening, and more akin to a journey to be experienced. The works contained therein are incredibly bleak and emotionally powerful, with a long lasting impact.

This Untitled album was recorded live, mixed, and mastered by Adam Tucker at Signaturetone Recording, with artwork by Nicole Sara Simpkins.

Grammy nominated recording artist and legendary guitarist as well as Ambassador of Japan Heritage (!) Marty Friedman returns with WALL OF SOUND, the much anticipated follow up to his Billboard charting album, INFERNO. 11 bombastic tracks featuring a diverse group of guests: Jinxx (Black Veil Brides), Shiv Mehra (Deafheaven) and Jorgen Munkeby (Shining), WALL OF SOUND explores, expands and destroys any conventional notions of instrumental music. It was produced by Friedman, engineered by Paul Fig (Ghost, Rush, Alice In Chains) and mixed by Jens Bogren (Lamb of God, Opeth). Legendary Queen producer, Mack, came on board to handle the mixing on two tracks, Streetlight' and For a Friend'. Regarding the writing and recording process on Wall Of Sound, Friedman responded with this, It`s a challenge to evolve album after album, especially on your 13th solo album. Not only as a songwriter but it is imperative to do new things on my instrument as well. Luckily this is a challenge that I love. You will find this hard to believe when you hear the density and sheer amount of guitar coming at you from all directions, but in fact all of the final guitar tracks on Wall Of Sound were done in 9 days.' Once again, Friedman assembled an incredible and diverse group of musicians to record and guest on Wall Of Sound.

Summoned to play it the old way in a new age, Trondheim, Norway quintet Dunbarrow draws inspiration from freezing winter nights, unpolished demo tapes from the 70's and the Swedish throwback rock from the beginning of the 21st century. The result is Norwegian proto-doom with a back-to-basics sound, from Pentagram and Witchfinder General to Quicksilver Messenger Service.
Dunbarrow's clean, unadorned sound shares the unpretentious brilliance of classic heavy progenitors playing basements and barns, before the big budgets and bloated habits diluted hard rock into an echo chamber awash in reverb and layered in distant, screeching hobbits. The band's 9-track self-titled album is a classic in the sense that every song becomes instantly recognizable after just one listen.
With lyrics like the clever paean to a young witch mother's birth of Lucifer's Child', Dunbarrow has a wealth of gloomy sentiments: Can you understand my young mother's plight / Away from the comforts that burn at the stake / She gave birth to a venomous snake / On her great pyre she smiled / For she carried Lucifer's child.'
Dunbarrow is based in the far northern Norwegian city Trondheim, but is originally from Haugesund on the west coast of Norway. The band has been playing together for over 8 years through different band names and genres. In 2014, vocalist Espen Andersen joined the band upon the departure of original singer/bassist Richard Chappell. Sondre Berge went from playing drums to playing bass. Kenneth Lønning and Eirik Øvregård are still on the guitars, with Pål Gunnar Dale taking over the drums permanently in 2016. Espen Andersen recorded and mixed the debut album at Stoy Studios. Dunbarrow is hitting the studio for their second album this summer.

* 8 is a continuous flux of music, a singular entity, which can be defined in micro measurements by its eight satellite songs. Each track expands upon the preceding song, unfolding into an exceedingly dense, malevolent and formidable journey, resulting in this being UFOMAMMUT's most extreme outing yet, with zero breathing room in the forty-eight-minute venture. The album's predecessor Ecate has now been put to rest and we can be assured that 8 is an essential turning point in the infinity that is UFOMMAMUT's sonic signature.

'8' is Ufomammut's 8th album, comprised of 8 tracks that flow into each other without interruption.

UFOMAMMUT's status as one of the most potent, powerful and artistic contemporary doom artists in existence continues to captivate the masses, and the band's worldwide grasp grows wider with each release.

Each track expands upon the preceding song, unfolding into an exceedingly dense and malevolent journey, resulting in this being Ufomammut's most extreme venture yet, with no permittance for breathing space in the 48 minutes.

8 is a continuous flux of music, a singular entity, which can be defined in micro measurements by its 8 satellite songs. This flow can also be seen when you tip 8 horizontally, thus it morphs into the leniscate from algebraic geometry - 8 - a plane curve that meets at central point - or more commonly known as the infinity symbol.

A continuous stream of movement reflective of the uninterrupted nature of the album but also the continued togetherness of the essential elements of the band - Urlo, Poia and Vita - since the beginning of the band's history in 1999. 8 tipped vertically sees us return to the number 8.

It must be stressed there is no singular pronunciation of the title, 8 is to be spoken in every language e.g. 'eight' in Engish, 'otto' in Italian, 'acht' in German, huit in french and so on.

* Ufomammut has performed at international music festivals such as Roadburn, Hellfest, Dour Festival, Leper Fest, Asymmetry, Stoned from the Underground, South of Mainstream, Festival d'Affaire, Metalride fest, FIMAV, Up in Smoke festival and many more..

They have shared the stage with bands such as NEUROSIS, DOWN, BARONESS, RED FANG, AMEN RA, FU MANCHU and many more. Ufomammut's live show is supported by the internationally acclaimed video and graphic art of Malleus, a rock artists' collective who conjure the entirety of Ufomammut's visual impact.

Milky Bomb Records present: Megalomatic - Symbolism EP.

- "You don't find many modern Scottish bands singing about fairy tales or fantasy." - Craig Mckenzie, Megalomatic. Read on...

Formed in 2013, by McKenzie, drummer Jamie Barnes and bassist Ben Reffin, Megalomatic do indeed sing about real life issues and they do so with equal parts muscle and heart. A power trio whose musical might comes across as a mixture of Biffy Clyro by way of Mastodon, Megalomatic have proven, over the course of their young career, that heavy music can have profound emotional resonance.

While the band's debut album Hunt For The Midnight Sasquatch showcased their penchant to play metal that was informed as much by Black Peaks as it was by "South Park," the band's new EP Symbolism is a jaw-dropping batch of new material that represents a massive creative leap forwards both lyrically and sonically.

While Megalomatic can play it dark, fast and heavy, their songs have surprising breaks and shifts that catch the listener off guard and beg for repeat listens. Their varied musical tastes that range from Snoop Dogg to Ice Cube to Everything Everything, demonstrate that this is a band that draws inspiration from the least likely of places.

This can best be evinced in Megalomatic's pre-show ritual, which is perhaps one of the more surprising reveals you'll run into all year.

"As a band we hype ourselves up before playing a show," McKenzie laughs, "by listening to Will Smith - in the car and before we hit the stage."

To start the ball rolling, Megalomatic start their UK tour with an EP launch with DF Concerts in Glasgow, this Sept., 2017.

Minneapolis dwellers LIVID bring towering riffage and mammoth doom metal on their Prosthetic debut 'Beneath This Shroud, The Earth Erodes', a sonically cathartic endeavor with nods to the trio's major influeces: Evoken, Mournful Congratulation and Eyehategod to the Melvins, Boris and Tool.

Originally formed in 2013, by 2015 the trio had been evolving their riffs to lay them down to tape and teamed up with producer, Ali Jaafar at Ecstattic Studio to record their first demo. The two part, 22 minute opus, Sint, was released on Bandcamp in the Summer of that year and was met with wide acclaim in the metal underground. Doomed & Stoned, The Burning Beard, as well as Seattle radio station, KEXP, all jumped on board as early flag waivers for the band. 'Sint' was powerful, both in riff and vocals. Benson's vocal style was often compared to Gregorian Monks chants. They are haunting and perfectly complimented the eerie, punishing riffs he played combined with the thunderous support of drummer Leick and bassist Padelford. Throughout the remainder of the year, Livid shared the stage with bands such as Theories, Bell Witch, Cobalt and Mantar.
