One of the most distinguished song craftsmen of the 21st century is to make his long-awaited return to record. On 17 August 2018, Tom Baxter will unveil his first official release in a decade, 'The Other Side of Blue.' 'The Other Side of Blue' is Baxter's most searingly personal work to date, performed entirely solo and with gorgeous illustration on guitar and piano. It's a beautiful and elegant return to his very core as a songwriter and a human being. "I feel like I've been though a very slow metamorphosis over the years," he says. "Even I'm not sure into what, but I can say I'm calmer inside, and I thought it was time for a full-on new release." While other artists rush so readily to provide the personal information that feeds the beast of self-promotion, Tom has kept his counsel, determined to be defined only by his music, and at his own pace. But it has been a tumultuous ten years. He married the longtime girlfriend for whom he wrote the Ivor Novello Award-nominated 'Better,' but then endured a divorce and, more recently, was happily remarried. Along the way, he lived in Devon, travelled to India, Los Angeles, Spain and then to Brazil, the place that inspired him to find the impetus to write again.

Minneapolis/St. Paul, May 1960: a young Bob Dylan, still known as Robert Zimmerman and not yet even 19 years old, decides to drop out of college to move to New York City and pursue a career in folk music. That same month he plays a small gathering at Karen Wallace's apartment in St. Paul - Karen's sister, Terri, was an early fan and supporter of Dylan's - mostly covering American folk and blues standards, which he'd become obsessed with since starting at the University. Still a few years before his self-titled debut, this tape is one of the earliest documents of early Dylan, and since Karen Wallace attempted to sell the tape for $10,000 in the 1970s and subsequently disappeared along with the tape, its life is another great story in the history of Bob Dylan, one of the most enigmatic and idiosyncratic celebrities of the 20th Century.

First up and for the first time ever, we present you 'RECITAL', the long lost Honeybus album. Forty five years after the originally intended release date, this obscure and beautiful gem will finally see the light of day. Mastered from Pete Dello's own original test pressing, the songs are now heard like never before.
Along with Recital, we bring you the first ever vinyl reissue of 'STORY', the band's only album, a pinacle of 60's pop produced by the legendary Ivor Raymonde.
And lastly, "FOR WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN: THE LOST TRACKS", a collection that gathers originally unreleased recordings from the early 70's and the rare Bell Records single from 1971, all of them unavailable in any format for a long time.

Swedish trio Svvamp's self-titled debut was a breath of fresh air — unpretentious and free, primordial homespun classic rock that landed in the Top 20 Albums of 2016 in the Doom Charts consortium of writers and radio. The most common remark being just how genuine and uncontrived it sounded, unlike most bands that posture and mimic the sounds of yesteryear.
So, it may be hard to grasp how fully realized the band sounds on Svvamp 2, while still sounding as laid back as their debut. Perhaps it can be partly attributed to Svvamp's jump from self-recording on a 4-channel cassette deck to self-recording on a comparatively expansive SIX-channel system. That's two whole more tracks to fill up, folks! The obvious comparison to the groundbreaking psychedelic albums of the late 60s, when artists began experimenting with studios moving from 4, to 8 to 16 tracks, is fitting here too.
On Svvamp 2 the sound is more raw in the sense that it's stripped,' vocalist/drummer Adam Johansson explains. So the music is more bare. We make sure all of the instruments are treated equally, they all have their place in a song. Obviously, with 6-tracks now available we've had a bit of fun with that.'
Svvamp is three friends — Johansson, Henrik Bjorklund and Erik Stahlgren, all of whom share lead vocal duties — drawn together for the sake of jamming and a love of rock, folk and blues. Their resulting heavy psych sound bears hints of Cream, Eric Bell-era Thin Lizzy, CCR and Crazy Horse.
Svvamp 2 opens with a lightly plucked electric guitar line that Clapton would be proud to claim his own, before quickly launching into the heavy riff anthem Queen', echoing the bare chested bravado of Grand Funk Railroad. Sunshine Street' is charmingly unapologetic garage pop reminiscent of Big Star. The Wheel' is a hook-loaded bluesy rocker, while How Sweet It Would Be' hearkens to the glazed zombie drive of Canned Heat's On The Road Again.' Elsewhere, Alligator' brings on a showstopping stomp of dueling guitars, syncopated drums and wailing, distorted vocal howls to close out the proceedings with fitting aplomb.
We definitely wanted to mix styles and genres, so the music stays interesting for the band, like the first record,' Johansson says. Our approach is still fairly straightforward and live. And, all of us sharing lead vocal duties solidifies that the band consists of three equal members.'

Featuring 50 of the Best Classic Elvis Songs! A True Fan's Must-Have!
Elvis' musical influences were the pop and country music of the time, the gospel music he heard in church and at the all-night gospel sings he frequently attended, and the black R&B he absorbed on historic Beale Street as a Memphis teenager.
In 1954, Elvis began his singing career with the legendary Sun Records label in Memphis. In late 1955, his recording contract was sold to RCA Victor. By 1956, he was an international sensation. With a sound and style that uniquely combined his diverse musical influences and blurred and challenged the social and racial barriers of the time, he ushered in a whole new era of American music and popular culture.
He starred in 33 successful films, made history with his television appearances and specials, and knew great acclaim through his many, often record-breaking, live concert performances on tour and in Las Vegas. Globally, he has sold over one billion records, more than any other artist. Among his many awards and accolades were 14 Grammy nominations (3 wins) from the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences.
In America alone, Elvis has had over 150 different albums and singles that have been certified gold, platinum or multi-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Elvis has had no less than 149 songs to appear on Billboard's Hot 100 Pop Chart in America. Of these, 114 were in the top forty, 40 were in the top ten, and 18 went to number one. His number one singles spent a total of 80 weeks at number one. He has also had over 90 charted albums with ten of them reaching number one. These figures are only for the pop charts and only in America. He was also a leading artist in the American country, R&B, and gospel fields, and his chart success in other countries was substantial.
Here, courtesy of Music On Vinyl, are 50 of Elvis Presley's greatest hits in one heavyweight triple LP package on 180 gram audiophile vinyl, completed with a stylish black & white info sheet. Covering all the hits from 1954's "That's All Right" up until "Way Down" (1977).

Toto are responsible for the best sounding albums in 80s rock. With top of the range studio facilities and musicians at hand, founders David Paich, Bobby Kimball, Steve Lukather and the Porcaro brothers know how to craft a hit song or two.
Their fourth album, released in 1982, was aptly titled IV and contains world hits "Rosanna" and "Africa". Noteworthy contestants for 'best songs' on this legendary album are "Make Believe" and "I Won't Hold You Back", both of which have proven chart success. The band was unarguably at its peak.
After recording IV, Toto's members returned to the studio in order to help write and record Michael Jackson's Thriller (MOVLP014).

Originally Released In 1978, From The Inside Is A Concept Album By Alice Cooper. His 11th Studio Album Was Inspired By His Stay In A Sanatorium To Recover From His Alcohol Addiction. The Singer - Who Once Boasted He Drank More Than A Case Of Beer A Day To Keep Fit - Had Failed To Overcome His Drinking Problem Through Private Treatment And Therefore Felt It Necessary To Undergo A Hospital Program Of Treatment.
The Characters In The Songs On The Lp Were All Based On Actual People The Shock Rocker Met In The Sanatorium, While The Album's Cover Image Is A Close-up Of Alice Cooper's Face Printed On Two Doors That Actually Open Up And Lead Into A Hospital Waiting Room. The Printed Inner Sleeve Features An Image Of Cooper And The Other 'inmates' Running Out Of The Sanatorium Once They Were Released.

The Rolling Stones' No Security tour ran from January to June 1999 through North America and Europe. It followed on from the colossal Bridges To Babylon tour and took its name from the No Security' live album recorded on that 1997/98 tour. In reaction to the huge stadiums played on Bridges To Babylon the conscious decision was made to book smaller venues for the initial North American leg of the No Security tour. This latest addition to the acclaimed From The Vaults series was filmed at the San Jose Arena in front of an audience of a little over 30,000 (intimate by Rolling Stones standards!) at the end of the North American dates. Previously unreleased, it captures the band in top form playing a set that spans from mid-sixties hit singles up to the then current Bridges To Babylon album.

Jerry Garcia created an unparalleled legacy across the American landscape, most notably in his role as a founding member, singer, songwriter and lead guitarist of the Grateful Dead. Jerry's unmistakable guitar tone enchanted multitudes of "Deadheads" throughout the band's 30-year career and beyond. The prolific nature of Garcia is evident in the breadth of albums he released throughout his iconic musical career which in addition to the Dead included work with the Jerry Garcia Band, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Old and in the Way, Legion of Mary, Garcia/Grisman, projects with Merl Saunders and as a solo artist. Considering Jerry was the most recorded musician of all time, there's always some overlooked gem just waiting to be discovered.
Originally issued in 1982, Run for the Roses is Garcia's fourth and final solo studio album. Produced by Garcia and John Kahn, it features several new Garcia/Robert Hunter originals, including the album's extraordinary title track, "Midnight Getaway" and "Valerie," plus choice covers Bob Dylan ("Knockin' on Heaven's Door") and The Beatles ("I Saw Her Standing There"). DELUXE VINYL EDITION !!! By the start of the 1980s, following a string of multi-Platinum albums and electric live performances - due in no small part to the onstage chemistry between guitarist Eddie Van Halen and singer David Lee Roth - Van Halen were an unstoppable force. Their 1982 album Diver Down followed peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard chart and went four times Platinum in the U.S. alone. In support of the album, the group toured worldwide through 1982 and 1983. 1983 would also be the first and only time the group would travel to South America, and it is from this leg of the tour that the show featured on this release originates. Recorded at the first of three dates at Venezuela's 20,000-capacity Poliedro de Caracas, the performance was broadcast simultaneously over FM radio. On top form and playing a rich selection from their current and back catalogue - including '(Oh) Pretty Woman', 'Eruption' and 'Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love' among numerous other Halen classics - this extraordinary show is now finally available for fans of this enduring collective to add to their collections.

After the release of his self-titled debut in 1962, Dylan spent the rest of that year and 1963 working on songwriting demos of his various publishing company clients. This wonderful LP compiles the best songwriting demos from that fruitful period. Along with early versions of stone cold classics like "Masters Of War", "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright", and "The Times They Are-A-Changin'" this collection of a young Dylan at the start of his brilliant half-century plus career also includes long-forgotten beautiful obscurities like "All Over You", and "Walkin' Down The Line". Essential early demos from America's greatest 20th century songwriter.

Like many of Johnny Cash's albums from the late 50s and early 60s, Blood, Sweat and Tears is a concept album. This time around, for his 15th long player, The Man in Black sings a suite of songs about the plight of the working man. Featuring The Carter Family on backing vocals and longtime guitarist Luther Perkins, this is a killer album that features two classics he'd later record on the legendary Folsom Prison sessions ("The Legend of John Henry's Hammer" and "Busted"). Another classic from Johnny Cash on Wax Love.

The late, great, man in black made appearances on the legendary radio and TV show broadcast out of Shreveport, LA in 1955, 1959, 1962, and 1963. This LP collects recordings from all of those performances. Though we all know and love his studio hits, Cash was often at his best in front of a live audience and his performances here leave no doubt about that. With stunning performances from his Tennessee Two, the loose, humorous vibe of these recordings highlight Cash's best side. Absolutely essential.
