Neueinspielung des nicht mehr erhältlichen Klassikers!

Im Jahr 1987/88 wurde das zweite Album der Band, "No Place for Disgrace", aufgenommen, von vielen Metallern als besonders starkes Metal-Album betrachtet. Es erschien im Mai 1988 und war seinerzeit der Einstieg beim Major Label Elektra Records! Das Album enthält noch Songs mit der Handschrift von JASON NEWSTED, der auf dem ersten Album noch zur besetzung zählte und kurz vor Veröffentlichung des Zweitwerks zu METALLICA wechselte. "No Place For Disgrace" wurde seinerzeit gemixt und gemastert von der legende MICHAEL WAGENER und beinhaltet u. a. eine Cover-Version von ELTON JOHN'S Hit "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting". Die Band tourte damals als Vorgruppe von King Diamond in Amerika und mit Megadeth und Testament auf der "So far..., So good..., So what" Festival-Tour in Europa.

Die Band war allerdings stets unzufrieden mit dem Sound dieser Produktion, fügte sich aber seinerzeit den Vorstellungen ihres Major Labels. Nachdem auch immer mehr Fans nach einer Neuauflage in neuem Soundgewand gefragt haben, hat die Band sich schließlich dazu entschlossen, das Album 2013 komplett neu aufzunehmen! Dabei handelt es sich keineswegs um eine 1:1 Kopie, es beinhaltet neue Arrangements und teilweise geänderte Lyrics.

Bis heute zählt dieses längst nicht mehr erhältliche Album zum "Must Have" im Schrank eines jeden Metalfans!

History Of NDW erzählt die Geschichte der neuen
Deutschen Welle. Diese begann bereits Mitte der 70er
Jahre als Untergrundbewegung und wurde Anfang der 80er
Jahre zum kommerziellen Erfolg.
Diese Compilation beinhaltet zum Großteil Bands, die sich
am britischen Punk und New Wave orientierten und damit
den Weg ebneten, für die großen Erfolge der NDW in den
80ern.
Hier werden Erinnerungen wach an Kulthits von: Joachim
Witt, Ideal, Nichts, Malaria, Die Radierer,
Der Plan, Malaria u.v.m.
Die Neue Deutsche Welle war der Startschuß für
deutschsprachige Rock- und Popmusik, die zuvor
Keinen großen Stellenwert hatte.
Auch heute dürfen auf keiner Party die Hits der NDW
fehlen!
