Deutschland Tour

Standout track taken from DON NINO`s latest album 'In The Backyard of your Mind' (released in May), 'Beats' is about to take over your turntable for good thanks to three new remixes at the crossroads of the indie-pop and electronic music genres.

The original version of 'Beats' is a freaky and well-balanced piece of folk music. Its lyrics are about body transportation and spiritual dematerialization. But in the hands of Chloe, Turzi and Cubenx the beat boxes substitute the drums, the vocals get distorted, the track deconstructs itself as well as the walls fall between the genres.

CHLOE (Kill The Dj) disrupts the voice of the original version and with the help of a monstrous kick and vicious waves pushes the listener 'hands-in-the-air' right in the middle of a boiling Saturday Night´s dancefloor.

Leading figure of the 'Kraut-rock' revival in France, TURZI (Record Makers) starts his remix with the original vocals and guitar parts but then turns it into a highly psychedelic ride on analogue waves driven by a celestial xylophone. A trip heading straight to the stars!

CUBENX, InFiné`s Mexican beat-wiser invites us to a sun-struck cocktail party - feel-good music, frivolous body-language and Mescal are on the HOUSE!

Girl On Fire features powerful anthems and intimate ballads, led by Keys' signature soulful voice and personable and relatable lyrics. Keys collaborated with acclaimed and emerging talents, including longtime song writing partner, Krucial, Grammy Award-winner Babyface, renowned writer and vocalist Jeff Bhasker, critically-acclaimed artist Gary Clarke Jr., up and comers, Pop and Oak, as well as emerging talent from the U.K., Emeli Sandé and Jamie XX, among others. The songs on Girl On Fire are anchored by Key's powerful vocals and trademark piano, but are sonically broadened by heavy drums, electric sounds, reggae and future soul, which gives the album an evolved, modern-day feel while simultaneously sounding like a classic body of timeless music. The album features an inspirational mix of the rich sounds Keys discovered while recording and travelling the world, particularly time she spent in London and Jamaica, layered within her New York City roots.

Second single to be taken from new album 'The Huanted Man', limited gold vinyl format with new track 'Save The Last Dance'

Uminecosounds is a 4 pieces Japanese Rock Band. The vocal and guitar, Osamu Furusato has released his solo album from a recording label "NOISE McCARTNEY RECORDS" led by "QURULI" who has a lot of followers not only in Japan but also overseas, and the bassist Toshiaki Sudo has collaborated with Jim O'Rourke etc.
At first, the band was just for solo unit for Osamu Furusato but after released his debut mini album "Yuuyake" and played at one of Japanese biggest summer festivals "FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 09", he changed the style to a band and re-named as "Uminecosounds". This song "machi no akari" was included in their first album "Saru to Banana" and it was sold only at Tower Records in Shinjuku exclusively. For that reason, this CD is collector's item right now.
The remixer, Crystal is a producer/DJ in Tokyo who has started his carrier in 1995 as name of "Traks Boys" and released his 1st album "Technicolor" in 2007 and 2nd album "Bring The Noise" in 2008. Also he released two 12inch singles from Japanese world famous label, "Crue-L Records" by Kenji Takimi.

The SKA BOOTS series takes a crazy and unexpected turn! Digging deep into EDDIE VEDDER's pre-PEARL JAM days finds a wonderful studio demo of an original Jamaican flavored tune called "REGGAE WOMAN". The b-side features 3 BOB MARLEY tunes done acoustically in between PJ sets. Colored wax! INDIE WORLD DUB

"Skyfall" is the 23rd Bond film in the series and after much speculation it's been revealed that the theme tune is to be performed by Adele.
There is certainly enough here to raise levels of anticipation for fans of both Bond and Adele. It's a far more traditional Bond theme than has been heard in recent years - a piano ballad with a dramatic chorus and those big, romantic, John Barry strings pulsing beneath while ominous horns swell.

NME - "The latest act to come out of Manchester through the elusive Sways Records stable, Great Waves' expansive yet emotionally fragile output is gloriously doomy"

The Hundred In The Hands klingt.

One of the holy grail's of early 90's US ska on vinyl for the first time. Satanic 2 TONE ska Yes, that was their thing. Huge MTV video hit with "DOOMSDAY". 13 tracks on blood red vinyl, plus a bonus 4 track 7" of the band's original demos before all the success. A no brainer.

Dekmantel proudly presents the return of Vedomir to their imprint - with nothing less than a full length album this time !
Mister Karpenko was responsible for one of the most in demand Dekmantel releases to date (Picture Of You EP), so this artist album is the next inevitable step. The Ukraine-based producer shows he's getting more mature with every release, delivering a comprehensive artist album that crosses over genres easily.

Ranging from downtempo, almost jazz-like slowburners to haunting Chicago house with a true analog feel, and from dark electro stuff, to the beautiful ambient soundscape: this record is a piece of stunning musical versatility.

Complicated Universal Cum is the solo project of Frederik Valentin. Valentin is already involved in numerous rock constellations around Copenhagen, but none as uncompromising as Complicated Universal Cum. The debut album aptly named 'Cuc' was only being released in Denmark but it raised more than a few eye brows globally with the video to it´s single 'I Can Hardly Wait", toping more than 10.000.000 views. Even at that Time Cuc´s signature Sound = fuzzed-out psychedelic spacerock combining elements of primitive electropunk, noiserock and punkrock attitude was shining through. The Album was introduced live with a 7 piece band including 2 drummers and 3 guitars that will also showcase the new release we have here now. 'Hello Exit Harmony' and 'Before F after C' that Questions & Answers will release internationally together with their Copenhagen based Friends Fake Diamond Records rre proving the debut was far from a brief moment of good taste on behalf of Valentin. Instead sealing his place as one of the most interesting rock musicians in the monarchy of Denmark. The reference is ill late 80's psychedelic rock mixed with an often repetitive, kraut influenced rhythm section, along side a great use of electronic effects. Valentin's greatest advantage is the ability to turn the material into his own, without sounding like the genre confused, pale image of his idols. 'Hello Exit Harmony' focuses on the power of the word. Valentin offers his interpretation of classic indie rock, influenced by British shoegazer and 90's American noise rock, mixed with his fondness of the melodic and refrain orientated rock hit. The culminations heard on the single 'Beyond or Below". A heavy bass line serves as the foundation of a dreamy yet explosive rock hit, on which cascades of expressive guitar noise and musical know-how reaches a higher purpose. On the contrary, abstraction best defines the concept of 'Before F after C". The album consists of four, self-indulgent, psy

Strut announce a groundbreaking project for November 2012, a unique fusion of Afrobeat and Moroccan Gnawa music from respected French Afro collective Fanga and leading Moroccan maâlem (Gnawa master), Abdallah Guinéa with his band Nasse Ejadba.Curated by the excellent, forward-thinking Détours du Monde festival in Montpelier, France during 2011 in association with Nueva Onda, the collaboration re-interprets Fanga classics, cherry-picking tracks from their 15-year career. "Our objective from the sessions was not so much to create an entirely new flow but more to bring the real Gnawa sound and trance feeling to some of our songs - we wanted to make the songs work so neither group's sound was compromised. For us, it was also a human and cultural meeting. We represent two continents but also two ways of thinking and two completely different styles of life."The two styles prove to be naturally compatible throughout. Leading out front on the tracks, Burkina Fasso-born Fanga bandleader Korbo and Guinéa share lead vocal duties. Guinéa builds his trademark 'Fusion Trance' through spiritual evocations, rolling, hypnotic rhythms and gimbri melodies while, by turn, Korbo serves up food for reflection, touching on the right to be different and promoting harmony between man and nature whilst denouncing the social injustices that result from an economic system out of control and designed to benefit the few.
Rich, thought-provoking and effortlessly funky, 'Fangnawa Experience' is an ambitious piece of work and another significant chapter in the open-minded and cross-cultural climate for modern world music. Fanga and Maâlem Abdallah Guinéa will be touring Europe during 2013.
2xLP Gatefold.
