Derek Carr is a shining light in the world techno. Born and raised on a diet of soulful machine music, this Irish artist has honed his sound over decades. It is this wealth of knowledge and experience that forms the backdrop of Arrival.

Carr is greatly influenced by the complex, yet warm, style that characterised UK techno in the 1990s. This inspiration flows through the LP, a ten-track trip that begins with the understated elegance of the title piece. And elegance is an undoubted quality of this album. Drums are bold and melodies delicate in “Alaska Blue” with “Lunar Cycles” tracing a journey back to the halcyon days of deep electronics. The skies above, or the heavens, are a definite creative source for Carr. “Anoat System,” with its soaring strings, and “Droid World,” whose sparks of electro grow to a superb brightness, tell of a fictional fascination with space. The parred back grandeur of “Apollo” tells another story. From a base of brittle beats and static rinses, orbiting notes bend and reflect as a measured musical epic unfolds. Across the album, an unrivalled sense of balance is achieved. The bolder kicks of “Haemoglobin” give space for cascading, fragile keys. That same bedrock proves fertile ground for the crafted textures and smooth harmonies of “Inside Out.” The closer, “MCR”, brings another element to the proceedings. A raft of drum patterns and a liquid bassline give rise to a final foray into the stars, twinkling notes ebbing to twilight.

The necromantic antibeats is the first longplayer by DJ WEB (Walid El Barbir). Repetitive and funky drum-compositions contradict vocal samples resembling horror, suffering, pain and malady, combining both into very playful compositions which contain seductive joy and the ill depths of mankind (hell) at the same time. Dead poems for the eager & the lost evoking forgotten potentials through ritualistic repetitions.

Italian native Fabio Neural teams up with growing Columbian talent DJ Fronter on the Brr Baby Brr EP. Soon to be released on Hot Creations, the three-track release is a contemporary house affair that shows the natural chemistry between the two.

Leading with Brr Baby Brr, a driving kick is soon complemented by whistling hats, before a teasing synth build up gives way to a pummelling bass driven drop.
Silver Star comes in next with a reverberating vocal sample that’s underlined by a subtly changing bassline and warm, building pads, before Downtown rounds off the EP with a harder techno tone as punchy lead kicks meld with choppy, non-apologetic keys.

Having produced music since 2010, it was last year that Fabio Neural really caught the ground running with releases on two of modern house music’s leading labels: Relief and Saved. This year has been followed up with Brr Baby Brr, his standout release of 2019 and his first release on Hot Creations.

DJ Fronter is one of Columbia’s most prominent artists. Having previously performed for the Resistance party brand his DJ sets speak for themselves, whilst his knack for producing has seen him release on labels like Circus and Nervous.

Phuture only released a handful of tracks (plus an album a full decade after their debut), but have remained a legendary act in the development of Chicago house for their stomping 1987 single "Acid Trax", the track that began and defined the acid house sound. The group was formed by DJ Pierre, synthesizer fan Spanky and Herb J in 1985 as a recording entity to produce records for Pierre to mix into his sets at several crucial Chicago clubs. After being turned on to the high-pitched squelch of the Roland TB-303 synthesizer (marketed as a bassline machine for solo guitarists), the trio emerged from the studio with a track they called "In Your Mind". Ron Hardy previewed the track at his legendary club the Music Box - where it became known as "Ron Hardy's Acid Track" - and Phuture re-made the cut with production by Marshall Jefferson. Released on Trax Records in 1987, the single created a dividing point between the Chicago sound before and after it, with hundreds of "Acid Trax" imitations flooding the local market. After it caught on in Britain as well, the single soundtracked the wave of club madness which coalesced in the rave movement by the end of the decade.

When I was on a trip through Switzerland a while ago, I was tipped off by a shop owner in Bern about his old friend who made music back in the mid-nineties. His name is Remco, the younger brother of the synth player from Swiss new wave band Les Rêveurs Artificiels/Die Künstlichen Träumer.
Once in a while, he would make a sporadic tune on his brother's gear, recording it on 8-track tape, without ever mixing it down, then just archiving it in a closet at his parent's house. He only played his tracks a couple of times to close friends, but it was hard to get a real idea of the sound since there was no mixdown. They had to be awkwardly played back on the 8-track player.
Of course, this brought my excitement level to boiling point, so the shop owner put us in touch and I asked Remco if I could have a listen to his 'secret' or, rather, 'private' music as I learned he likes to call it. He told me that the tapes were at his brother's place in Zurich and he hadn't listened to them since late nineties, but Basic Moves was welcome to check them out if we promised to give him a proper digital rip. The next time I played in Zurich I caught up with Remco's brother. He handed me the ¼' 8 track reel to reel, with 'THE SECT3000' scrawled on it in black marker.
I carefully brought it back to Brussels, restored it and listened to it while mixing it down at the same time, alongside our in-house engineer Chris 'Funk' Ferreira. We were blown away by the musicality of this visionary music. Chris had to deal with parts full of reverb especially on 'Blaupause', as no dry sounds were available. He did a great job, as did Stefan, our mastering engineer. In 'Plastic Dream', the track with muffled, mysterious vocals, islas, who runs the label with me thought she could hear Remco saying 'Basic Moves' repeatedly. I was keen to prove her wrong because that would be crazy, so I asked my only Swiss German speaking friend Walid from Les Points (who is also making amazing music) to do a quick translation of the lyrics. It turns out this is a love song.
Some might say BM08 strays into unknown territory for Basic Moves. Looking in different genres and being open minded and imaginative led us to THE SECT3000, Remco the 8-track wonder. Walrus, November 2018.

Malice Records was a short lived, but hugely popular gabber offshoot from Kniteforce Records back in the early 90s. Focused on a direct, uplifting but hard and nails sound, it incorporated big distorted kicks with furious amen breaks and ridiculous riffs. Luke Slater and O Phase combine for the second release under their RoogUnit guise on Mote-Evolver this April with the 'Nu Rebels Club' EP.

Following 2017s 'Mesh' EP release, the second outing from two of techno's most revered talents in Mote-Evolver boss Slater and Ashley Burchett (O Phase), sees the duo indulge in a vast sonic exploration into the world of hypnotic techno shot through with intricately interwoven soundscapes and glacial atmospheres.

The release follows a live streamed set via Mote-Evolver's Bandcamp page on March 5th featuring a 4.5hr live B2B DJ set from RoogUnit.

stripped back house music. The Birmingham based artist
has carved a distinctive sound pairing in§uences from
Europe’s minimalist expressions along with bold basslines
heard shaking Midlands dance §oors. Detective Sandy kicks
off the EP with crisp percussion, and a signature Whitticase
low end. Elements trail off into endless directions, subtly
teasing a hypnotic listen with a multitude of quirky sounds
held together by a seriously grooving bassline. Birmingham’s
Jordan Masters joins that side with a stripped back remix of
the title track, nimble hi-hats, shimmering percussive work
and §avours of minimal garage can be heard throughout, a
bouncing bassline delivers a rapid groove for a great balance

EYA/Lonewolf records delivers his twist on Detective Sandy

and familiar atmosphere is paired with sublime skipping hi
hats which draw the ear. While Saucy Thoughts is more
chilled affair it still hits in all the right places, another bold

Constantly evolving grooves, hypnotic/mental synth lines and hard kicks. These are the three guidelines for this new release by Dstm.

DSTM is a label that takes influence from '90s techno with fast-paced tracks that blend raw percussion with cinematic pads.

“Barat” is the epic EP opener that has an end of the night vibe with the poignant melodies of its pads. The second cut “Ainatac” adds an aggressive edge with its analogue synths, thrashing percussion and whirling groove.
The third is the distorted kick and buzzing synths of the industrial cut “Eznerif” before the EP is brought to a close by the hard-hitting sounds and twisted energy of “Dirdam”.

Fabrizio Lapiana's Attic Music label reaches release number 20 on the main series with a new EP from the boss himself: Collective Chaos features remixes from fellow Italian techno luminaries Neel & Laertes.

Rome's Lapiana has been a vital voice in the global techno underground for more than 10 years now. His Attic Music label has played a key part in that, while his own evocative techno soundscapes have come on the likes of M_Rec ltd, Figure Jams, ARTS and Out-Er. This is his first outing of 2020 and is a superbly stylish techno trip.

Opener 'Crystal' is deep, drawn out techno with perfectly smooth and supple drum programming that soon gets you in a state of hypnosis. Subtle synth loops rise up through the mix as things grow more urgent, and once the percussion joins you're utterly locked. The title track is a more turbulent and edgy affair that sound tracks a dystopian urban wasteland - the synths are riddled with static, the hurried drums are punchy and there is an urgency in the molten synth lines that keeps you right on the edge of your seat.

Sound sculptor Neel runs Spazio Disponibile with collaborative partner Donato Dozzy and has an impeccable knack for sound design. Here he links with Laertes (half of Modern Heads with Dino Sabatini), a Mental Modern and Concrete Records associate who produces artful techno. Together, they remix 'Collective Chaos' into a dark and moody techno roller with glitchy textures and high speed synth lines that sweep you off your feet.

Closing out this terrific trip is 'Koyuk', a Millsian adventure into an intergalactic techno future, with polyphonic synths rippling above a rubbery drum line that is both propulsive and pensive.

This is high grade, perfectly distilled and meditative techno from some of Italy's finest exports.

It covers a seemingly endless range of unique sounds from dark techno up to pumping minimal.After several brilliant releases on AFU, Italo Business, Der Hut, Snork and Microtonal Felix Bernhardt continues to impress at his premiere on Teja Music.
For good reason his tracks are now an inherent part of the live sets from techno icons such as Richie Hawtin or Stephan Bodzin.
In addition to that, Felix Bernhardt is an excellent live act himselft, who plays regularly at legendary techno festivals such as Nature One or Ruhr in Love.
This also reflects in his music as right from the start the listener is catapulted into a universe consisting of atmospheric sounds, thundering baselines and driving rhythms.
The second track “Show me how“ really lives up to his major theme departure as it is pushes foward relentlessly.
The central theme continues until the last track called “Where There“, which is the icing on the cake of an excellent EP. Check it out!

Repress of old rekurds from the German Gabber late 90's style. (Hardcore Friends on BLOWN 01 & 02)

Second release on the Copenhagen imprint, featuring tracks by DJ IBON, Lund&Ronde and Escaping Tendency, all from the local BunkerBauer crew. The release consists of three fast and trance infused tracks for the floor, and makes a contribution to the current flowering of Copenhagen dance music.

BunkerBauer is a DJ and producer collective, and has been a central institution in the Copenhagen techno scene for several years. All tracks are produced in the BunkerBauer studios which is located in an old bunker from World War 2, in the center of the city.

On the A-side there is Lund&Ronde's rolling hardtrance inspired banger. The B-side contains DJ Ibon's long awaited "White Flag", a melancholic percussion driven techno tune, followed by the wax debut of Escaping Tendency, a more slow and groovy track.

Ex-Voto is the first page in a new story, where French techno artist Nao Nhil looks inwards to find pools of sonic hypnosis. Taking inspiration from both techno and ambient music, Nao Nhil explores the outer reaches of contemporary, dancefloor expression, striking a delicate balance between body and mind. Contrasts between percussive roughness and slick execution, or between brooding darkness and beams of radiance, colour the sound and hold your gaze. The pristine techno construction of "Ex-Voto" tunnels deep into Nao Nhil's core, unearthing the roots from which the laser-cut drone of "Primal Atom" and the stepping kaleidoscope of "Psylle" were born.

Stefan Theia is an integral part of the Berlin techno scene. For more than 15 years he stands for innovative and unique sound as well as high-quality productions.

His new EP distinguishes itself through a fascinating concept, where physics, natural phenomena and the connections in life take center stage.

Main themes such as energy and interactions in time and space are processed into music in a very impressive way.

The result is a real masterpiece consisting of five energetic tracks full of uplifting rhythms, hard beats and dynamic synthesizers.

Grammy nominated producer and DJ Boys Noize made his anticipated Defected debut with ‘Mvinline’ earlier this summer, unveiling a captivating and uplifting house cut you can’t help but groove to. Now available on a special 12” package, this infectious, self-assured cut sounds better than ever on wax. A name synonymous with quality dance music, this joyous release kicks off with the original track, as the German producer explores his roots with a funk-laden, classic house beat. On the flip, the previously unreleased ‘Mvinline Svn’ strips back the familiar vocal for a more club-focussed cut. DJ Disrespect returns for Classic Cuts Volume 2 continuing his armageddon of sound that will guide you through the final chapters of the 2020 year of doom!

Split #1 marks the debut of a new vinyl series, to be hosted on the Various Artists catalogue of Pi Electronics. The split series will be bringing two artists on the same vinyl, with this very first release presenting music by Greek producers Fragedis and Nemmett.

Coming from different backgrounds of electronic music, prolific figure of the Cretan islands' dance scene, Fragedis and one of the Athenean founding members of the "π" crew, Nemmett, contribute their sharpest weapons to this release.

On the A-side, Fragedis delivers a techno/breaks cut of dystopian melodies and vocal samples with his opening track "Flantza". His second track, "Klirish" blends industrial leaning percussions with Detroit techno flavored synths.

On the flip side, Nemmett returns with his trademark industrial / breaks sound, in a hypnotic, rap vocal atmosphere with the track "Altars". His broken beat influences go more noise with his second track "Teeth", which concludes the B-side of the vinyl.

Exclusive: The "excerpt" version of "Teeth" is available only on the Pi electronics Bandcamp page.

Following up 2020's Inner Call, Jeroen Search returns to Token with another serving of characteristically hypnotic purism. Aether draws on classic, tripping motifs designed for maximum drive.

Opener Nightshade kicks off proceedings with a stylish lead sequence. Dry and effective, the track makes the most of its limited components, opening up briefly for a considered breakdown before returning to the driving repetition that will come to define the record. Zero Day Exploit follows-another crisp, beautifully executed composition that bears all the hallmarks of a seasoned engineer. On the flip, title track Aether brings some extra swing to proceedings, with drum machine patterns building tension as the main riff twists over its run time. Closer Rejection Rate sees the record out, a dense peak time roller complete with elegant chord stabs.

As one half of Red Axes, Dori Sadovnik could perhaps already stake a claim as one of the most prolific men in electronic music. A natural artist, Sadovnik is the sort of musician who never stops recording, a creator ahead of a consumer, well-adapted to a frenetic lifestyle.

This particular impulse has been funneled into a project known as Kapitan, an already expansive collection of tracks clocking in anywhere between 130 and 150 beats-per-minute.

As for a home, it just so happened that DJ Tennis, friend, collaborator and founder of Life and Death, was processing similar instincts, borne out of his love and association with the nineties heyday of IDM, pioneered by labels such as Warp and Rephlex.

“I don't really know what led me there but I had a feeling that I needed to be in the mountains”, explains Sadnovik. “I'm not a nature guy, nor do I feel particularly spiritual, but I was always struck by the harmony of it all. Everything is in the mix.”

This all-encompassing, blissful philosophy is deeply felt throughout this journey, a fluid blend of analogue and digital sounds rendered as organic as the landscape that inspires the album. Interlocking rhythms evolve into unexpected chamber pieces and bubbling acid lines blossom into rave psychedelia on opening tracks such as ‘Weird Day’ and ‘Flowers’, progressing to the sound of ‘Takak’, which inspires meditations on enormous bass weight, as mantras creep in from the surrounding forest of sound.

In the album’s second-half, this sincere sense of awe expands further still. Centrepiece tracks ‘In The Valley’ inspires a true sense of wonder and transcendence, complex rhythms blending with wide-eyed reverence. ‘Smile’ is trippy and innocent while ‘Elleven’ crackles with whispering energy over whiplash breakbeats. Concluding with ‘Heart’, Sadnovik reduces the pace to a stepping, heavy rhythm, commanding a deep sense of respect for the untamed wilderness that has served as such a unique muse.

There's few names that have left their mark on electronic music throughout time like Terence Fixmer did. The French producer has been releasing music since 1993 most notably under his own name, but also with his music wise wide-ranging alter egos Eisbär, Cyborg, Gemini 9, Scanner and - together with Nitzer Ebb's Douglas McCarthy - as Fixmer / McCarthy. It's thanks to people like him that Electronic Body Music eventually traversed towards contemporary club contexts and now remains being a defining part of dancefloors in general, or a

Klubnacht in particular. By combining the aesthetics of EBM, Electro and Industrial music with the rhythmics of Techno, Fixmer coined and occupied his very own musical niche as a producer and live act.
At Ostgut Ton we've always been intrigued by Terence's production style, his use of hard synth lines, guttural vocal samples, sharp-edged hi-hats, or to cut the matter short: his deep, glowering approach to sequencer Techno with EBM jabs. Therefore it's great seeing him continue this path with four new tracks on the Beneath The Skin EP, following up on 2015's Aktion Mekanik Theme Versions that featured remixes of the Music Man Records classic Aktion Mekanik Theme' by Ostgut Ton's Kobosil, Marcel Dettmann and Norman Nodge.
As aforementioned Beneath The Skin comprises the various musical facets of a Klubnacht: dark, pounding slaps and discomforting yet soaring synths ( Beneath The Skin'), Acid Techno modulations and lone voices in the dark ( Trace To Nowhere'),

hypnotic synth progressions and ambient textures ( Devil May Care') and finally some rest and soothing ( Immersion').

Durch die Kombination von Ästhetiken aus EBM, Electro und Industrial-Musik mit der Rhythmik von Techno hat Fixmer als Produzent und Live-Act seine eigene Nische geprägt und besetzt.
Wir von Ostgut Ton waren stets fasziniert von Fixmers Produktionsstil, seinem Einsatz harter Synthlines, gutturaler Stimmsamples, scharfkantiger Hi-Hats, oder um es abzukürzen: seinem deepen, grollenden Sequencer-Techno-Ansatz mit EBM-Stichen. Fellow Frenchmen The Hacker and Commuter take their inspiration from the TV series, Chernobyl to create an imaginary soundtrack for their collaborative EP on Cultivated Electronics, which has already been on full throttle in 2021 with releases by DMX Krew, London Modular Alliance, Morphology and Maelstrom across both CE and sister label, CE Ltd. Cultivated Electronics isn't letting up any time soon, with this new EP from two major forces of the scene who should need no introduction, having between them released over the years on labels including Zone, Mannequin Records, Klakson, Dark Entries, Bass Agenda, Elektrofon and too many others to mention. Here they deliver three new punchy electro tracks that convey their love of vintage electronics and machine funk, but with a modern touch that will hit all the right notes for electro fans, with names like 'Roentgen' (a unit of measurement for the exposure of X-rays and gamma rays) and 'RBMK' (Chernobyl's nuclear power reactor). Long time Knotweed and DMT supporter Mattias Fridlell approached us with some tracks he recently produced with his friend Alexander Johansson. We immediately knew that this was going to translate into a piece of wax. Expertly crafted, perfectly mixed, this is a beautiful excursion into deep hypnotic techno like no other.

Morbeck is one of the key figures of the Berlin underground scene, which makes him a fitting piece of the puzzle to Wunderblock Records' hyper-formulated techno vision.

A resident DJ and purveyor of the club scene in Berlin, Morbeck has released on numerous labels but his most recent achievement stands as his 2013 set up of imprint "Code Is Law", a home for creativity in the techno universe. Now he delivers infectious EP "Berlin 95" drawing on acid and techno influences and blending his unique style with a love for the 80's and 90's that inspired him so.

First up we have title track "Berlin 95", nothing less than a forward-thinking acid trance techno to get the heart racing and showcase Morbeck in his production skills.

The vibe gets heavier on "Melody Massacre", a slow-burner featuring heaving percussion and snipped ethereal vocals and synth work which intoxicate the listener.

"Frankfurt 2000" is a swirling mass of shimmery percussion, employing those frantic synths which are synonymous with 90's rave culture that Morbeck is so inspired by.

The last track on the EP finalises an outstanding set, an addictive vocal pattern is combined with twinkling melodies and a moody bass, setting the tone alight.

Berlin 95 EP is just another star to add to Morbeck's list of accomplishments, its uniquely produced elements making it a timeless piece of classic techno.

"Based on Instinct" is the first solo EP of Atmophile Electronics cofounder Sharad Sood. All 4 tracks are composed in playful hardware jams, each following its own concept, from synthesis approach over rhythmic structures and recording techniques up to the editing process. Keeping a techno feel at heart this release is a representation of his never ending urge to experiment in the field of music creation and audio engineering.

Hearse return with another dark ep of electro bangers here. Wee DJ’s open up with the enigmatic dark creeper ‘Fish Crisps’. Label boss Cestrian supplies the stormer ‘Off’, a sort of sinister speak & spell jam. French overlord Umwelt kicks off the B side and keeps the neg vibes alive with ‘Reign Over Obscurity’. Finishing the ep is Chris Moss Acid’s ‘Freebase’ with a remix treatment from Quadratschulz giving it some acid jacking dark style. Great ep all round. 300 copies, screen printed sleeve. Adam Beyer drops his first EP of 2016, teaming up with Dense & Pika to birth the powerful collaborative work 'Going Down'.

Over a 20-year period, Drumcode has grown to become arguably the most influential force in techno, but at the core of this success, is always the personal aspect for label boss Adam Beyer. The connections he forms as a result of music - whether with fans or his family of artists who release on the label - are his lifeblood and give him the most pleasure.

One such relationship that's blossomed since they first released on Drumcode in 2015, is with Dense & Pika (AKA Alex Jones and Chris Spero). Sharing both a similar work-flow and a dry sense of humour, the connection rings true on their first collaborative EP that took shape after Beyer spent two days bunkered down in the Brit's studio after Junction 2 in June.

Highlighting sets everywhere from Awakenings during ADE to Spazio 900 in Rome, the tracks are hard-hitting master studies in industrial-edged techno. 'Going Down' is built around a deep menacing vocal, as subterranean bass drums, thundering kicks and a sinister synth line combine for a high impact finish. 'Future' is a chunky stomper perfect for the winter warehouse party season, as multi-layered synths and effects rub shoulders with heavy-set drums to ensure this one hits its target.

'I've always liked collaborations - they bring out the best in me. I'm also a big fan of Dense & Pika's raw sound, so this worked well. Chris and Alex are great to produce with and are really clear with their vision when they make music. I like their work techniques where they a running things through hardware and recording live takes and cutting them up in DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). I used to work a lot like that in the past, so we have a similar work-flow. They are also funny in a dry English sort of way which suits me perfectly." - Adam Beyer

Moss Co., sister label to Archie Hamilton's Moscow imprint, returns with its 10th release, a four tracker from Hanfry Martinez & Alexis Cabrera that is both club ready and forward thinking in equal measure. A cross-continent collaboration, the 'Minutas' EP plays perfectly to the strengths of Tenerife's Hanfry and Argentina's Alexis, emanating the precise sound that Moss Co. loves to champion.

'Facas' leads the way with an unabashed breakbeat and zephyr-like hook, leaving space for playful midbass tones and experimental keys, behaving in a purposefully erratic manner. 'Buli´n' follows with driving, dissonant synths that maintain momentum as a weighty and funk-laden bassline enters the fray.
On the flip is title track 'Minutas', rich in sparkling frequencies, snappy percussive programming and the kind of lazy bass motif that is primed for the beaches of Mamaia. 'Copeti´n' closes the EP with a hazy bassline and gentle, rolling subs complimented via crystalline drum patterns and tripped out FX processing.

Max came to my place with Buchla and we spent a week in the studio, back in 2013 or 2014.

It was all improvised, just recording tons of stuff. I then afterwards went through the recordings and did some editing, selecting suitable parts etc. And then produced the material. I released two EPs on my own label also back in 2014 i think.

Now i went through the archives and chose unreleased tracks, produced and mixed them in 2020.

It's my kind of techno... fast and wild.

Born in Cartagena, Colombia and raised in Caserta, Italy – in a small town near Napoli – Almeida had already begun to develop his passion for electronic music in his youth by launching many different projects which did leave the proper message and early support by many relevant artists of the main Electronic/Techno scene around the world.

Sounds from people like- Mad proffessor,The scientist,Depeche Mode, Moderat,Planetary Assault System,Drexiya,French Fries,,Apparat,Marcell Dettmann,Anthony Parasole to name a few, as well as post-punk,industrial and folkloric Colombian Music did make start his interest on electronic music since the beginning of his journey.

Heavily influenced by a city like Berlin that breaths Techno everywhere, he gradually found his way into creating an unique sound, which lead him to the forefront of the European techno scene.

Many of his friends saw Almeida frequenting Berlin’s nightlife. This included club institutions Berghain & Tresor which where his school to really understand the meaning of this movement, after many (including self-organised) parties, his turning point came; Armando Almeida began Almeida Music – more focused and secure than ever about it!

Almeida has been a hard working Dj-Producer, spending many hours in the studio.

With the current rise of Almeida Music, Almeida shows no sign of stop!

Four tracks from pure personal expression. ‘A’ face begins with an “Intromorfosis”, an intro with a smooth decay to focus the listener to whats coming next. Brings feelings and expression from the artists, rebelliousness and political reasoning. From the latin word ‘morfosis’, you can be aware of the current social situation of regressive changes. Second track, ‘Druida’, total body music, techno driven to break beats, together with metal synths and pads.


On the other hand, on ‘B’ face, the artist brings out cruelty and darkness side from Nodrize’s spaceship, how i define the musical journey in the career of our artists, that also gives name to his Label.
‘Destined to Extinction’, distortion, metal, synthes out of tone, keeping the power during the whole track, exalting the break rhythmic drums to result in an excellent piece for the dance floor. As last, the garden’s monster from Irrational Language, it shows a soundscape with different passages, that split the animal side and the acid line to end together in a brutal end.


An Ep that defines the sound from Structured for this first release, and that will definitely work on different dance floors around the world.

Since debuting in 2013, J.Tijn has found his corner of the electronic music world, developing a hard techno sound that is raw and unforgiving. A core member of Untold's Pennyroyal label, Jesse Tijn has also released on Overlee Assembly, Power Vacuum and Bedouin Records. For Naked Naked's eleventh release, J.Tijn gives us two versions of 'Pick Your Battles' that are ready for damage on the dance floor.
On the A side, 'Pick Your Battles V1' gives us a dark rolling rhythm being led by a crisp snare hit through a sea of machine bleeps and grinding waves of noise. An unrelenting groove which is sure to keep the floor heaving. On the flip, 'Pick Your Battles V2' hits harder with distorted kick drums, an array of hats and attacking synth bleeps. After almost imploding, the track reaches another level, taking us to peak time madness with aggressive percussion. Heads down, hands up, this is sure to bring heat wherever it goes.

Ever since his early teenager days Kareem El Morr has been working on tracks in the studio. Techno was and has always been the basis. Dirty, raw and in a positive way escalating are his sets, which he has been playing since the mid of the noughties. Not being limited when playing in the clubs or producing in the studio makes him undisputedly one of the most versatile artists in Munich. How multi-faceted he is, is now being shown on his latest RFR release.

“Supersonic” throws the gate open wide to electroid sceneries. Not a few will be reminded of I-F’s “Playstation” by the first sounds of the decently wobbeling bassline. Sick bassline variations, breaky drum parts and a pinch of Neo-Goa – any questions? „Quake“ portrays Morr’s infinite and unconditional love to Techno. Reminiscences of Detroit’s High Tech Jazz are floating relentlessly through widely varied rooms, which we absolutely adore since the Basic Channel era.
On the flip Morr expands his driving functionality by a melodic component. “Blaze” kicks in with a lot of delay, distorted bells and Highspeed drums. This ain’t no dance, this is a ceremony! „Trance with Benefits“ marks the ending of the “Supersonic EP”. Pictures of wafts of mist, whose intensity is being ruptured by the first rays of sunlight penetrating the club on an early Sunday morning. Happy people lying in each other’s arms, unified by the principle that Techno would be nothing without Trance.

Etruria Beat boss Luca Agnelli returns to the label as he unveils four fresh originals in the form of ‘Dangerous’. A leading name within Italy’s techno landscape and beyond, DJ, producer and label owner Luca Agnelli’s musical journey continues to surge with releases and remixes via the likes of Drumcode, Soma and his own Etruria Beat imprint.

Having played a series of stand-out shows to close the year including Universe82 festival (Valencia), Duel (Naples), Die Rakete (Nuremberg) and Steam (Athens), not to mention a breathtaking performance from the top of Torre Del Cassero in his home region of Tuscany, early 2020 sees a welcome return to home turf as the Etruria Beat boss steps out to reveal his latest EP ‘Dangerous’, comprised of four commanding productions.

Title track ‘Dangerous’ unveils a high-octane ride through escalating synths, resounding kicks and menacing low- end tones, whilst ‘High Gravity’ utilises further infectious lead line work and slick, metallic drum licks. Next, ‘End Of Time’ sees the introduction of soaring melodies alongside off-kilter sonics and tripped-out vocal snippets, before closing proceedings with ‘Acidulous’, a driving acid-led effort that snakes through both tough and more melodic territories in impressive fashion.

Marcos Cabral returns to L.I.E.S. with a new six track mini lp after a run of cult releases for The Trilogy Tapes as Chemotex. Here we get Cabral in top form falling somewhere in-between his last works for L.I.E.S. and Chemotex tracks. Through the record we get a rough yet refined style moving from metallic gnarled electro to melodic IDM and/or destructive the electronics as heard on "Secret Air". Our favorite being the introspective closer "Wearing Petrichor" Cover photo licensed from legendary NYC street photographer, Richard Sandler.

The Italian producer and founder of the Berlin-based label "Sonic Interface Records" has long been influenced by many subgenres of dance music; from electro to techno-acid music before combining them in his pioneering first ep . "Sonic001'' which sees Michael Space gravitating towards a different kind of electronic music, driven as much (or more) by analog sequencers, marked vocals, melodies and experimental sounds between space bass lines and acid sounds of the most common bassline 303 synthesizer, as by drums and percussion.
Beyond the ego EP001 guides the listener through a hypnotic terrain: the four tracks fully represent the different phases of an ideal dj set.

French producer Najem Sworb re-joins Wolfskuil Records with ‘Pergelisol’ featuring remixes from Darko Esser and Doka’s collaborative project, The Leap.

Najem Sworb is an intriguing artist who’s been putting together absorbing techno productions for over ten years now which includes outings on labels such as Days Of Being Wild, Technorama, Clone Basement Series and Wolfskuil Records. ‘Pergelisol’ sees Najem return to Darko Esser’s exceptional Wolfskuil imprint following recent releases from Border One, Architectural, Physical Therapy, Ambivalent and Cadans and features remixes The Leap – a new live project from Dutch producers Darko Esser and Doka.

‘Sorl’ begins with rattling percussion enticing you from the start fused with angelic melodies and undulating euphoria while ‘Egilep’ taps into more of a heads-down kind of vibe featuring tough, modulated drums, robust synth shatters and pulsating bass stabs.

On the flip, The Leap offer up a remix of ‘Egilep’ which blends haunting undertones, airy pads and vibrant rhythms that shimmer throughout before their remix of ‘Sorl’ rounds off proceedings with wavering bleeps, clattering 909s claps and dreamy ambience in the distance allowing for a evocative atmosphere to finish.

Chicago based DJ/producer ANDREW JOSEPH drops his 2nd EP under his PTO alias (following the “DRINKS/CASUAL FRIDAY” 12″ released in 2018). The record is a celebration of the 808 and its renowned ability to get the party started. The 4 track house EP feats an electro remix of the title track from living legend EGYPTIAN LOVER! Italian producer NICO LAHS of ADEEN RECORDS fame gives it a smooth but dark and moody deep house remix followed by the electro jam “WAY OUT".

Tied is back for another vinyl only release. This time with three original grooving tracks from Sakro (Half Baked/Raum/Bon Vivant) and a deep remix by label head Max Jacobson. Universal Glory is for the dark late night hours, while Where R U and Delirium showcase Sakro’s signature sound with rolling bass lines and hypnotic grooves. Max Jacobson’s remix takes you on a deep galaxy ride while keeping some of the core elements from the original.

Sascha Dive was last spotted on Bondage-Music earlier this year with the deep hypnotic pulses of ‘Dark Night’ on ‘Bondage Games 5’. So it’s fitting he returns with ‘Detroit Sunrise’ and, as sure as day follows night, it’s every bit as deep, pulsing and hypnotic as you’d expect from the Frankfurt craftsman… 

His first full EP for the Leipzig label, we open with real talk. ‘Detroit Sunrise’ warms up with broad, swinging drums, rippling textures and a crucial spoken word sample every single one of us should consider. It sets the scene for two classic Dive deep adventures as both ‘Dub Chronicles #1’ and ‘Dub Chronicles #2’ both roll out with subtlety and understatement. Layered, absorbing and endless; timeless tools made for those deep mix moments of magic. 

Last but not least, we end on an upbeat. ‘Ghostdancer’ takes more of a sprightly, light-footed note with an upward-spiralling arpeggiated riff, gentle ebb and flow chords and a light peppering of cosmic flurries. Ghoulishly good. Like all things by Dive and Bondage-Music. Don’t get tied down, get tied up…

After being summoned from Ohio to London by Adrian Sherwood, Nick Riggio and Rebecca Magnetic have brought their Midwest musical experience to the South London electronic music scene with a unique creative vision. Fusing elements of techno, post-punk and psychedelic rock they explore spiritual connections and transcendence while Rebecca Magnetic's introspective vocals set against a tough backdrop of Detroit influenced rhythms and vibrations leave you in awe.

Their superb single 'My Future' is a brilliantly cosmic exploration of spaced out and spacious grooves. Crashing hits bring an edgy mood, while lurching drums drag you forwards.
Molten acid synths and the strained and pained vocals from Rebecca add further layers of intrigue to this most adventurous electronic trip.

First to remix is Oosh! man Dan Wainwright, and his version is laced up with sci-fi chords and echoing vocal sounds. The downtempo drum rotations are superbly heavy and trap you in a trance.
Next up, Retroforward is Al Mackenzie's solo remix/music project named after his successful Birmingham night.
Al is one half of Field Of Dreams. His 'No Future' remix is an airy and atmospheric remix that takes the track to the farthest edges of space on smooth, hypnotic grooves and beautifully astral melodies.

Lastly, Richard Sen has already been getting support for his remix from ALFOS man Sean Johnston, and he goes for a superbly rugged yet slow motion chugger that is dubbed out and expansive thanks to the arching guitar riffs that ring out to the heavens above fat-bottomed drums.

Whether experienced on the dance floor or in metaphysical states, this music is medicine for the mind and body.

The Double Portrait EP is Tobs' and LEMs story of descent rituals. Don't look in the mirrors left and right of you. Still, you need yourself. Flip the coin from time to time, be tender and never stop. Somebody deserves it.

No doubt Tom Ellis has been one of our favorite producers for over 12 years. Sharing music with him is always a blast whether it's at a party, a festival or getting a hand on its latest tracks. This double EP gets you in a particular mood. Through these 8 tracks Tom shares an intimate experience and brillantly merges house, jazz, minimal techno, plus a touch of acid and ambient. So... Here we have one of the most hightly awaited EPs of the year. Since the transcendence "Imprint Of Pleasure" took being the most sold track on Beatport from 2013 and definetely one of the tracks of the year, we cannot miss the chance to release a remix pack. And then, the big question: ¿Which artists should remix this track.

After many discussions, we concluded that we needed four totally different point of views for such an amazing cut.

That's why we choose: Monkey Safari, Adam Beyer, Rodriguez Jr. and of course our mastercat Coyu. Each artist gives a totally and unique point of view. Now it's your turn to decide who you think did the best job. We can't decide one. We love them all!

The Atacama Large Millimeter / submillimeter Array (ALMA), is the largest astronomical project in the world. It is a revolutionary interferometer that comprises a set of 66 antennas (also called antennas: reflectors or radio telescopes when it is a single antenna) of seven and twelve meters in diameter, designed to observe millimeter and sub-millimeter wavelengths. The project was built on the Chajnantor plain, at an altitude of 5058.7 meters, in the Atacama desert in northern Chile.

ALMA Sounds is an initiative that seeks to interpret and decode the frequencies of the Universe transforming them into sounds, so that filmmakers from all over the world can compose, share and create a community united by a search that has captivated humans for thousands of years.

Árido Records presents the first Various Artists on the plate, a material that will feature leading producers from Latin America and who agreed to transform the sounds captured into music, which will be forwarded and merged with the cosmos.

Whilst club events and music festivals around the world may have come to a halt, there’s no stopping the undeniable Haŵs party taking place inside this hefty slice of wax. The Haŵs crew once again come correct with their 11th release, and the 3rd edition of their V/A volumes. Their dominant streak waxes anew with zero sign of waning, as they unleash 4 original pearlers into the outside world. Names all too familiar in the scenes they inhabit, Rudolf C, Lisene, DJ Life and Nathan Pinder combine their comprehensive skillsets for your unending pleasure.

Opening celebrations is Rudolf C’s ‘Shotta’, the type of head-nodder, dancefloor fodder that has long been associated with his name. Alien signal-like stabs persist and combine with the crunchy percussion throughout, tripping back and forth in its otherworldly paradigm.
The A2 track is ‘Time 2 Bump’ by Lisene, and if that kick drum doesn’t define ‘bump’ then we need a new sonic dictionary. Elongated acid permeates a sweeping groove, sitting atop a mechanized vocal of malicious design and destructive intent.

Up next is DJ Life with his offering, the galvanic ‘Organo’. Continuing the theme of dancefloor delirium, his track rumbles with unerring force and potency. The party is still going strong under his guidance. You’ve no choice but to latch onto the acid and move your body.

As we hit the early hours, Nathan Pinder closes proceedings with his track ‘Good Times Ahead’. The stuttering vocal and unequivocally euphoric synth hark back to the progressive trance scene of the late 90s, whilst the track’s message simultaneously looks proactively to our immediate future. Pump it loud and dream of the Haŵs parties on the horizon.

Yuka and Blazej Malinowski are regular guests and friends of ://about blank. They both produced warm, atmospherically dense tracks for us. Yuka lets the bass roll properly, while Blazej Malinowski has produced wonderful open-air techno, which will not fail to have an effect in the early morning hours indoors as well.
On the B-side, Milena Glowacka is striking up a bit darker and – nomen est omen – colder tones with her track “Cold Blue”. That may have something to do with the place of residence – Rejkjavik –, where the Polish producer currently lives.
All in all, we have an attractive package of deep, atmospheric techno tracks that will still breathe the spirit of summer in October as well – month of release – and the dancefloor.
