Italian born and Berlin based DJ, producer, label and record store owner Deluka kicks things off for Futuristic Architecture, System Error's newest offshoot for all things strictly Techno.

Deluka has long been a secret tip among vinyl and techno heads in Berlin and afar, having been a resident for several years at Berlin's infamously wild Same Bitches Party and the founder of No Signal Records, recently opening a record store of the same name.

With his Heroes EP, he commits 4 timeless techno tracks to wax, paying homage to his musical heroes with tunes that honour the sensibilities of the genre.

Deluka almost single-handedly reminds us of how much we love techno and we couldn't think of a better artist to begin this new story for System Error.

For the first time in Steyoyoke’s history, an Ethereal Techno album is presented as a complete body of work on double vinyl. If you look at the artist line up of our new release, a press info is actually pretty obsolete, but I thought I´d write a few words anyway. Oniris from the south of France is really on the rise with his latest music on Laurent's Cod3QR and upcoming music on Bedrock or Systematic and when I got in touch with him to talk about releasing on Break New Soil, he sent „Stay“ and „Wild Thing“ - I was sold instantly! When thinking of adding a remix, I contacted my good old friend Josh Wink to see if he would be up for it and I honestly couldn´t be more blown away by the result. Josh's rework is a no-nonsense Techno anthem that surprises on first listen while leaving no doubt that it´s a trademark Wink production with his subtle and sophisticated beat stunts and impeccable sound profile. Additionally Josh delivered an Acid Version plus a dub mix! We think this is one of the biggest releases on our label ever and can't wait for you to check it out.

For the first time, Anna adds her own voice, making this release a personal and powerful statement.

Today, we are excited to present two very special remixes by none other than Berlin resident and internationally acclaimed artist and DJ Marcel Dettmann for two original tracks of Gregor Tresher´s recent album „False Gods“, that was released on PIAS last year and that featured an incredible array of collaborating artists like Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, Josh Wink, Black Asteroid or Anja Schneider amongst others. Gregor initially approached Marcel about a remix for the title track, and eventually not only did he deliver a sensational, dark and moody interpretation of that, he also handed in a remix for a second track: „Ursa Minor“. And boy, did he create a stunning remix for this one as well.
While the original track by Gregor and his longtime collaborator and good friend Petar Dundov dances in the sweet spot between house and techno, the ballrooms of New York and the suburbs of Detroit, Marcel Dettmann´s Remix takes it to the dark Berlin warehouse floors by adding an irresistible hypnotic edge to it. We couldn´t be happier to release these two fantastic interpretations, that feel like the cherry on top of Gregor´s most extensive and exciting album project to date.

I’m thrilled to welcome Tommahawk to the Electric Ballroom family. Tomma is a standout among the new wave of DJs and producers from Germany, carrying forward the rich tradition of classic Techno. From the moment I heard Unfolding and its stunning choir melody, I was hooked. Remixing this gem was an absolute pleasure.

‘True Mirrors’ leads the EP laying down airy atmospherics, bright stab sequences, bouncy bass groove and crisp rhythm section. ‘Royal Objects’ follows and leans into deeper realms via an amalgamation of processed spoken word vocals, ethereal pad textures, heavily swung percussion and dynamic evolution.

‘’Ghost Life’ kicks off the flip side next, fuelled by resonant synth licks, sweeping filtered chords, saturated drums and dubbed out vocal lines. ‘Over and Over’ then concludes the release, a nod towards the early 2000’s era of microhouse courtesy of raw, reduced drums, heavy sub bass tones, oscillating organic percussion and warped synth tones.

Spread across two discs for maximum fidelity, this is sound system music with grooves primed for mixing and dialed-to-a-Tee bass weight, but hovering above the grounded structures are fleeting rhythmic textures that veer things off into a world worth getting lost in. Throughout its 11 tracks, “Club Dream” plays out like a full mix, ebbing and flowing through a variety of energy levels and moods. Some of the range you’ll find here includes half-time dream-step, peak time pulses, and dubbed out mid-tempo tech, all done with a cohesive restraint and appreciation of atmosphere. "Systolic" was conceived in the aftermath of K.A.L.I.L.'s experience with a stroke. During his hospitalization, he meticulously captured the rhythmic cadence of his own heartbeat during a medical examination, intending to incorporate this unique audio into a potential musical composition. Endeavoring to articulate the myriad emotions he grappled with during the challenging days when half of his body was nearly paralyzed, the song came to fruition.

The composition intricately weaves together the tumultuous thoughts that permeated K.A.L.I.L.'s mind with moments of solace. The distinctive presence of his recorded heartbeats permeates the entire track, rendering it a profoundly special and vibrant narrative of this pivotal moment in his life. Drawing inspiration from classic disco, breaks, and house music, Lamediscos has caught the attention of well-known artists like VTSS who praise his ability to create captivating melodies and irresistible beats.
But that's not all! This vinyl also includes two remixes one by the legendary Eddy C, a Canadian DJ and producer who has been pushing the boundaries of dance music for over three decades. Known for his unparalleled skill in remixing, Eddy C has reimagined Lamediscos' original track, infusing it with his unique style and taking it to a whole new level.
For the second remix for this special release, we also have one by label boss Lega, who gives us his own interpretation of the track, showcasing his production prowess and adding yet another layer of musical depth to the vinyl.

The third vinyl release from Seattle/LA imprint Rhizome Records comes from label cofounder Kristijan Risteski aka Kinjo. Previous productions from Kinjo include a single on sublabel Rhizome Forms and a 3-track release on SF’s P.U.N.C.H.I.S. With his first vinyl pressing, Kinjo perfects a signature deep vibe while recruiting the talents of Uruguay’s Z@p and Romanian Dragomir for a pair of remixes.

“Marxian” rolls out a techy percussive architecture along with the alluring yet dissonant call of dystopian synths. The subsurface layers crackle and shift, revealing a never-ending array of sophisticated effects.

Z@p provides the remix on side A, wasting no time to transform the original with his moody yet playful excavation. An expertly crafted electro pulse supercharges the alluring tones of the original to unleash a dance floor ready weapon.

Side B features a long form remix treatment by Romanian minimal technician Dragomir. At over 13 minutes, Dragomir’s interpretation extends the original’s chemistry across a vast landscape, carefully examining each element. A deeply psychedelic gem, the Dragomir remix synthesizes afterhours aesthetics with the dark side of jazz.

Though shifting styles the four track EP ‘Intelligent Jump Rope Music’ presents Sarayu in his element, the record is craft of high quality and club ready dance music from start to finish. On the A side, Sarayu opens the EP with the ‘The Bag’, a myriad of infused warm synths and driving hats placing the listener solidly on the club floor. ‘E30 Track’ (A2) then follows with a much moodier bass filled aura, fluidly moving the listeners onwards with a set of sizzling synths and well crafted drums. On the B side the Album title ‘Intelligent Jump Rope Music’ drops the tempo to 120 bpm with acid tinged synths and dynamic snares. B2 then brings in Locked Groove, driving the tempo back to 136 bpm with an ecstatic club finish, intertwining floating sets of emotional synths and grooving hits together to tremendous result.

Washington's Slow Dancing Society aka Drew Sullivan has gone long here: Do We Become Sky? is a deeply immersive 86-minute work that very much rewards being listed to in one sitting. It is "a spiritual successor" to his 2008 album Priest Lake that draws upon feelings of loss, mostly using the tonality of the Korg Wavestation as a foundational instrument through the work. It features well-balanced boiling of tension with subtle moments of release, swelling harmonies, plucked guitars and evocative synth progressions that always keep things moving both physically and emotionally.

The cover image shows some old bunkers built during the communist era that now fell in disuse, a remarkable and common landscape fixture in Albania. The Picture was taken by the talented Robert Hackman, who spent a lot of time collecting images of the bunkers throughout our beloved country and then published them in a beautiful book called “Metamorphosis” and then agreed to collaborate with us, providing some of his amazing shots for our releases.

Less’s new album opens by building a bridge back to his previous album “Stranger” (released on the “Freude am Tanzen” label and conceived as an imaginary Blade Runner soundtrack). Now a Berlin-based artist with Thuringian roots, Less draws on deacades of DJ experience and channels it deftly into ten tracks. Less (real name Stefan Leßner) isn’t afraid to go “old school.” Classic touches like vocoder effects are as integral here as Alice’s irresistibly
cool spoken-word vocals—delivered in English (“I Care”, “Mirror, Mirror”) and German (“Alles was du willst”). This retro spirit even extends to his remix of the French-language Underground Cottage track “Canada (2003 Less Remix)” which surfaced in DJ Hell’s setlists last year—bringing things full circle.

“Living in the Matrix” on Lebensfreude Records is not merely a nostalgic reference to times past, but also counters exhaustion with a sense of trust in the future. It is, in essence, a call — an appeal — not to lose oneself in any kind of ‘Matrix.’ Accordingly, the album will be released both digitally and analog. The latter will come as a 180g double vinyl with a high-quality, thematically appropriate gatefold cover.

Julius Smack collaborated with a fictional AI assistant to create the new album which explores his origins. It is set in a near-future Earth where artists and AI share a symbiotic bond and aims to reflect a world where beauty and violence intertwine. Artists are the last human survivors in this place and they mine their memories and dreams with AI in order to generate art which sustains them but also produces toxins that must be expelled with each new creation. Starlight then is an album which challenges AI's role in creativity and labour, and blurs the lines between art and reality, all while giving rise to a thoughtful and immersive album of innovative ambient.

For those unfamiliar with Mezerg, his real name is Marc Mezergue. Originally from Bordeaux, he launched the project in 2017. Prior to that, he started playing piano at the age of 16, teaching himself entirely. He later pursued studies at the Bordeaux Jazz Conservatory, though he wasn't particularly inclined to follow that path further. Nevertheless, it provided him with a solid musical foundation.

Florian Kupfer lands on Urban Legend Records label with Unmasked EP. The work explores the human condition through the symbol of the spider, representing the duality between creation and destruction, patience and control. Like a spider’s web, the EP weaves complex emotional and psychological connections, guiding the listener on an introspective journey where tensions between light and shadow, the hidden and the revealed, are revealed, in search of inner truth.

Minkowski 2-9 (M2-9) is a planetary nebula that was discovered by Rudolph Minkowski in 1947. It is located about 2,100 light-years away from Earth. This bipolar nebula takes the peculiar form of twin lobes of material that emanate from a central star. Its form also resembles the wings of a butterfly.

Nottetempo are welcoming a new artist into their fold. Caramel Chameleon will be known already to many, his fluid brand of braindance having graced imprints like 030303 and Undersound’s NOUN sublabel. The sonic shapeshifter, Francesco Pio Nitti, arrives at the Milan label with Compact Demons.

Distorted beams and a steady kick introduce “…And You Feel So Lucky.” Drums descend into a glitchy soup of snare rolls before gentle notes take hold, a melody of soft synth warmth is dappled with breathy samples. Pound and thump are given a full workout in “Monologue Duetto,” echoes of glowsticks glimmer before the floor is calmed by silken keys. “d-_-b Future Is Blind” opens with oozing basslines and skittish beats. Tender pads and playful melodies bob and weave, breaks creating generous spaces for string-filled meditation to bloom in this absorbing work. Kicks return for “Inter27wined (cottage mix)”, a nervous energy soothed by globular synth-lines. A late evening feel permeates the piece, a comfort countered by Nitti’s bending and stretching of percussive patterns. For those needing a little more, Nottetempo have drafted in Legowelt for a remix of “…And You Feel So Lucky.” The track, available digitally, sees Wolfers sideline his own trademark sound to focus on the essence of the original. The result is considered interpretation, beats are relaxed and steady with a touch of analogue dreaminess coming to the fore.

There’s a sense that Caramel Chameleon is building up a head of steam. With each release, the Italian artist is further honing his sound as he crafts ever more intricate melodies and structures. Compact Demons is proof of this. In the same breath, Nottetempo continue to fortify their catalogue and roster with a release of excellent electronics. Quality cuts from Milan.

ni:'o is the final project for Neo Festen’s studies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, marking a milestone in his musical journey. The five-track EP showcases a blend of energetic yet deep sounds, exploring emotional themes throughout.

"Test Run 4 U," a standout track, carries a long expressive story, while "Protocol 1.625" is an fun experiment to the use of different time signatures.

Swiss label Acquit Records has got a couple of superb outings lined up this month and Nate Nubia is behind this one which offers up a single and three different mixes of it. Original cut 'Dracula Vs. Frankenstein' is a warm analogue world of smeared synths and dusty drums over a crisp broken beat. It's full of machine soul and melancholic moods. The Info Remix is more edgy and driven, while the Kenny Hooper remix layers in extra light and melody. The G-Prod remix is one with its head amongst the stars and plenty of celestial synths.

Paul K, a longstanding figure in the Romanian electronic music scene, unveils his latest release, "Black Round 36", showcasing his signature blend of minimalism, techno, and micro house. The opening track sets the tone with its sustained minimalism and broken rhythm, punctuated by sparse low-tonal sounds that weave a hypnotic spell. Paul K's adept sound design skillfully combines dominating percussion with soft analogue tones, adding a touch of romance to the intrigue.



Throughout the release, Paul K demonstrates his mastery of crafting inspiring compositions that transcend genre boundaries. From Cluj-Napoca to Arad, Bucharest, and even London, his eclectic underground sound resonates, drawing listeners into a world of sonic exploration.
