The techno super-group of Luke Slater, Steve Bicknell and David Sumner aka LSD is back again with the third instalment of their Process series. Third Process comes after last year’s double pack released on their self-titled LSD imprint and an earlier project launch released via Ostgut Ton back in 2017.
Now the trio returns with a fierce three track techno pack. Futuristic drum programming and mind melting melodies for maximum dancefloor impact spread out over three tracks, touching all assets of an hypnotic high-energy techno trip.

Doom Nation usually plays doom... midtempo is too speed... 160 is the limit... well... tunes starts 145.
"Accepted" they said.
But yeah now it plays double tempo... then triple tempo...
This kind of music can be understood at 145 BPM even if you tierce's it... Or 290 since the very first mesure.
At the end of the day, music is music when she can escape tempo.

B•O•M is the fifth album by freak electronic producer NCHX (NOCHEXXX). A percussive planet of acid-techno, UK bass, house and electro-phonk, hosed down with a chemical wash of post-dubstep and UK bleep contaminants.
Departing with a tube station screech, HUNTING HIDES signals a lone defender’s ride through the underground - trace amounts of musique concrete dart around the tunnel walls, while sub-low cushions the rumble. ENTERCOL is perfect 3am mix fodder; saturation hot-points push beneath a middle eastern theme, whilst SEVENTH GUN TERRITORY is pure rapid-fire bongo bizness - a concrete terrain punctuated with corrugated metal grids and moving shadows: distorted poly-metered brutalism! CYBERTUSH is the perfect OST to a club littered with vape pens, while B-Boi bots flirt with promiscuous A.I.
Arguably the most fierce cut is TEFLONTUAN - an ode to NCHX’s favourite pro Antuan Dixon - the Deathwish skater lands bolts with the illest of steeze. Side-chained 303 squelch rattles alongside x0x sequenced drums as wavetable pads float above kinked rails. A nights gallop over city curbs. The LP signs off with LOCATION SCOUT, a SpaceX sample-return mission heading back to earth with a fistful of deep house red planet crumble.
“A dance floor’s dream and a mixing engineer’s nightmare” - Resident Advisor
We’re putting out the first Mister Saturday Night Records release in a long while. It’s by Russell E.L. Butler, and it’s called “Blah Blah”. The record comes out on Friday, September 4, and it contains three tracks made in Prague at the Synthesizer Library and one track made in Russell’s pre-New York home in Oakland.
On the EP’s release date Sept 4th, which is Bandcamp Day, all of the Mister Saturday Night Records share of Bandcamp proceeds from the release will go to Princess Janae Place, an organization that provides referrals to housing for chronically homeless LGBTQ adults in the New York Tri-state area, with direct emphasis on Trans/GNC people of color.
The vinyl release, designed by Boot Boyz Biz, includes a poster featuring these words from Russell:
What are my dreams when they are spoken into real space? Are they statements centering my desires? Are they indictments to hold myself accountable to my vision of life?
My consciousness is meandering and at times I celebrate this drone of words. Stripped of meaning, to reveal what’s beneath. Not an answer, but further questions. The purpose of the mantra is to quiet the conscious mind until the spirit takes over.
Place is important. It grounds the abstract in our humanity. These things came from somewhere. Many places. To culminate into one. Connecting them all. And creating something entirely new. Not an answer, but more questions.

„What binds you to places? To remembering them.
Places you can feel, when you feel at home. Places that affirm your very existence.
This place for me is the Oderbruch. This album is dedicated to it.“
– R.P.
The fifth studio album by Shed aka Rene Pawlowitz centers thematically on the Oderbruch region in former East Germany where the producer and DJ grew up and continues to split his time (when not in Berlin.) Both the album and track titles as well as the artwork by Arnim Tölke Ectoplasma (Oderbruch) reflect Pawlowitz’s deeply personal associations with the borderland’s marshy landscape, as well as enormous political and historical changes the region underwent as the last Eastern front during World War II – and, later, following the dissolution of the GDR.
Nevertheless, Oderbruch is not a concept album. Instead, it’s an ambivalent ode to the area in which Pawlowitz’s family has lived for generations. It’s a musical reflection on place and personal history: meeting up at the local gas station, a view to the water, techno rattling the closed windows of cars peeling out toward Berlin or the next local party, cruising along rural parkways flanked by trees with fruit ripe for picking, past weeping willows and abandoned factories where industry once thrived. Outside buzzes with the sounds of nature inextricably linked with childhood memories, but also a landscape defined by the bloody defeat of the Nazis at the Battle of Seelow, ushering in the fall of Berlin and with it, the entire fascist regime.
The album’s nine tracks are inspired by the intertwined nature of the subjective and historical,
which ring through Shed’s idiosyncratic take on breaks, bass, techno, symphonic ventures, ambient and hardcore. But unlike Shed’s previous records, Oderbruch incorporates broad pastoral landscapes – left behind and returned to.
Both fit Shed, who under various aliases (Head High, Hoover, Wax, The Higher, WK7, Equalized, The Traveller) has long influenced a number of dance music scenes in Berlin and beyond.
The Higher, WK7, Equalized, The Traveller ... Shed ist dabei Pawlowitz' bekanntestes Pseudonym, mit dem der gebürtige Brandenburger 2003 auf seinem eigenen Label Soloaction und 2008 auf Ostgut Ton debütierte.

Taking the baton from MW for the second volume of Casting Shadows we invite The Hague mainstay, Intergalactic Gary, to let us peep into his crate of secret gems.
A true music archaeologist and one of the leading lights of the Netherlands’ West Coast scene for over 30 years, his knowledge spans across genres and decades.
Opening proceedings on the A side, we go back to one of Andrea Benedetti’s acid classics – this time revisited at 33RPM, morphing it into a slow-burning dancefloor grinder.
On the B-side, Italo disco duo GAG get a re-airing of their lost classic Flyin’ Bolero. QUAD, the UK duo formed by Mark Carroll and Pete Diggens, closes the EP with a deep breakbeat excursion originally released on Kinetix.

Belgian techno wizard Cri Du Coeur is back with a new 2-part vinyl release on his label Arkham Audio titled 'Erickson' & 'Erickson on Acid', which features remixes exclusively from French artists. Jerome D., the man behind the Cri Du Coeur alias, is prized in the industry for giving platforms to Belgian and French artists throughout his career, so it comes as no surprise that he is showing his francophile roots by having a solely French lineup for the remixes on this release. Following the recent release of his EPs 'Diaphragm' and 'Warning', and now bringing us the inebriating 'Erickson' & 'Erickson on Acid', Cri Du Coeur has established that his new alias and freshly-founded but tenacious Arkham Audio label are a force to be reckoned with. The entrancing yet adrenalizing sound that he has adopted shows that his approach to industrial electronic music knows no boundaries or compromises.
The first part of this release features the original mix of 'Erickson' by Cri Du Coeur and remixes of the track by Electric Rescue, Wex 10 , and Trunkline. The second part 'Erickson on Acid' puts a squelching acid twist on things and features remixes by Roman Poncet, Umwelt, and Zadig.
The original mix of 'Erickson' leads with a strong beat and a mixture of industrial sounds that makes for a sublime dark dancefloor track. Electric Rescue follows on with a remix that engages the listener with a terrorising yet intoxicating heavy baseline. Next up is Wex 10 who enchants us with a bouncy laserbeam rhythm and muffled looping vocals. Last but not least on the 'Erickson' lineup is Trunkline's remix which delivers an addictive hazy melody and a deep and dirty mechanical synth horn.
Cri Du Coeur plays with tensions in 'Erickson (on Acid)', putting the listener into a state of hypnosis with squelching sounds that give the song a raunchy character. We are implored to dance as Roman Poncet's remix bears layers of lively percussion beats with twangy synth melodies. The mood intensifies once more as Umwelt's remix features a dark and fuzzy baseline that contrasts with a screeching siren sound creating an ultimate thrilling experience for the listener. Zadig closes off this immense concoction of remixes with a relentless distorted base and scintillating machinelike background noises.
Cri Du Coeur has outdone himself by bringing together such a well-suited selection of artists to create a visceral and magnetizing collection of tracks that showcases his competence in making industrial techno

Maurizio Martinucci (aka TeZ) is being warmly welcomed back into the Frigio fold. Following his work with Most Significant Beat, a partnership with Saverio Evangelista of Esplendor Geometrico, this Italian artist, and member of Clock DVA since 2010, is flying solo on new wings: Pragma.Martinucci examines, scrutinises and magnifies mechanics. And under such inspection all things change. Drums blossom into serrating melodies. Snares, hi hats, toms blur into one as they are distilled into a heady brew. At times this reduction is sour and sharp, as in the cruel cud of 'Ospel', at others its strangely smooth like in 'Dusk.' The lines that divide electronics and techno all but disappear, dissolved into insignificance under Pragma ´s barren palette. 'Espex' is stripped. Percussion is dipped in distortion, bass bleached by hiss as the reductionist manifesto is applied. An artist cut from the same caustic clothe closes.Arturo Lanz of Esplendor Geometrico amplifies the fuzz and static of 'Espex', shaving away all decoration to leave all but a harrowing husk of cables, wires and pain.
Rian Treanor returns to Planet Mu for his raw and energetic second album "File Under UK Metaplasm". The enigmatic, sweaty energy of Tanzanian singeli and Chicago footwork are juxtaposed with slick, high-def bass weight which sits at the centre of the album. Opening track 'Hypnic Jerks' is the perfect example of this, with crinkled percussive loops cut through by machine-gun kicks and acidic wobbles. Elsewhere, 'Vacuum Angle' takes Sheffield's Warp-ed legacy and brings it crashing into the future, with rhythms collapsing into static and noise but never deconstructing or losing the flow. 'Debouncing' meanwhile folds gliding square synths into rattling dancehall kicks, joining the dots between SND, Equiknoxx and Wiley with a neon Sharpie. "It's using all those formulaic dance structures but just slightly mangled or messed up," he says. "I'm still focused on making dance music for clubs, but how far can you push that before it's just no."
Repress!
Butter Sessions swiftly follows up Sleep D's May release BSD-01 with two complimentary heavyweights for a 12" release, Freak of Nature. Listeners may feel acquainted with the tracks as both have served as a staple in Sleep D's live set over the last 12 months.
Freak Of...is a strong beckon of electro-tinged techno that lures with a fearless pulse and an entrancing inflection, utilising the faithful sounds of the Roland Jupiter 6, Super Juipter and TR-09. The follow-up echoes basslines and percussion to overtly fuse the two tracks together. Naturetaps further into Sleep D's homage to the live techno greats of the 1990s and early 2000s, mirroring their vigorous and eager momentum. Overall, Freak of Nature hits as an anesthetic swirl of brisk looping and thoughtful production.

As a producer who is strongly influenced by many fragments of the arts spectrum, starting from music itself, to film, art, design, Kamran Sadeghi’s first Amphia LP represents the artist’s dialogue with music and its depths. Between 2014 and 2017, Kamran has experimented with many different ideas, moods and musical excercises which build up a track sequence as an invitation to explore the melodic ritual and use their imagination to create their own meanings.
The openers “More than tomorrow” and “Today” are subtly mingled, suggesting the alternation between the future and the present through a sound focused motif. “Water Me” and “Who New” are introducing Side B, briefly triggering a rediscovery process. The atmospheric aesthetic of the LP is emphasized as the third side elaborates the meaning of a “Rise” during a “May Day”, a soulful connection with enlightenment. When reaching the last side, “Surface” and “Decay” are closing the melodic ritual, with the signals slowly fading as an escapism.

'Chronos' is the debut album of Berlin-based trio AUSKLANG. Presenting a perfect blend of ambient and post-rock music, Chronos traces all the veins of rock, from a grandiose ensemble sound of a cinematic soundtrack to the delicate natures of ambient soundscapes. Each song has its own pulse and signature, giving a new feeling each time.
Having established himself as a key member of the Voitax roster with a love letter to the Orgazoid on his last outing, Berlin-based, UK-born producer Cressida returns to the fold with yet another genre blurring masterclass in formless electronica as the forward facing German imprint continues to provide a platform for a number of dance music's most innovative artists. Finding himself spending his time in lockdown reflecting on his formative years within the darker strands of London's varied underground electronic music scene, the Sambo EP serves as potent reminder of the stunning level of diversity that can be found within the Capital as Cressida incorporates the bass fuelled sounds of his youth into a series of DnB speckled cuts that defy conventional classification. Housing the power of jungle, dubstep and grime within the kind of gritty heads-down framework that has become his calling card in recent times, Cressida's carefully crafted blend of terse percussion, piercing tones and sonorous samples showcase the shadowy producer's talents at their eclectic best.

We were very surprised at Versatile when we received this file
from flocofloco And we still have very little info on the track that was
there. “On m’a dit…” by Floco Floco is a lo-fi afro-disco stomper hailing straight from the new ghettos created by confinement. Something had to give and we are glad that Floco Floco, whoever he is, has chosen us to ease his lockdown mind: “I’ve been told to stay at home, on WhatsApp all day long, working in the studio, reading books I haven’t read, I hope it won’t be too long, I don’t know if I can hold, smoking weed day & night, like never I have been before”.
Not a message, just a statement. The answer on the track was so good that we decided to come with more versions… We asked our friend Bufiman aka Jan Schulte to put his magic and he came with two
versions. One stellar arpeggio, with no beats but a serious drive as well as an instrumental Disco version. Gilb’r slowed down the whole affair and turned it into a cosmic nonsense vocal reprise, with a different bassline, chords and arrangement. A great summer pack!

While quite a few people are obviously still dwelling in the achievements of Munich's disco era during the 1980s, it seems that another major part of the cities partying scene travels to the same clubs every weekend. Here they are getting fed with the plasticized Beatport Tech House trax that everybody wants, drinking Vodka Red Bull until they almost pass out and walk - if they are still able to - home happily, oversaturated by non-inventive, but good selling music. So far the cliché. Fortunately, reality looks a bit different, at least for the lovers of UK Bass.
In order to make people aware of the city's flourishing developments in this scene, the grandmasters of Ruffhouse and Jahmoni Records have teamed up for a limited 10".
On the A-side, Ruffhouse's no. 1 mobster and Lacoste track suit model Top Shotta shows us his "Power Reserve". Kicking off with a straight and technoid bass drum, surrounded by delayed echos and industrial patterns, the track unfolds his way into the ear and body of the listener. Later on, the beat transforms into a half-stepped, Post-Electro hybrid, well accompanied and bedded in by the carefully selected percussions. Without a doubt a more dark approach to the recently released first Ruffhouse EP of his buddy Pastiche, that fits well with the manifest destiny of this young and delightfully fresh label.
Jahmoni's boss and sound magician BELP delivers the flip, rather an AA-Side. "Queen of Darkness" needs no further explanation. Just like in his previous works, his avant-garde take on UK Bass results in a sinister, mean kicking monster. Layered drum sounds, nastily rattling percussions and effects define the sonic signature of BELP, whose love for drone and glitch sounds is constantly shining through in every second of this track. "Queen of Darkness" is a little prequel to "Hippopotamus", which is going to be released later this year and that will furthermore define BELP's very own interpretation of Afro-Futurism and Tribal Spiritualism.
With labels like Jahmoni and Ruffhouse, people will no longer have to be afraid of Munich's musical future - it has already arrived.

Julien Chaptal is an electronic assembly — part French electronics, part Detroit synth machine, and part Dutch minimal robot (as part of MFD, Le Clic and Amsterdam661). Purpose built with a modular brain, Julien’s performances are switched on, live, utterly groovy, and while pulsating with machine wiring, undeniably human.
Chaptal's newest record, The Way, was conceived after a few too many knobs were turned on his Octatrack, sending Julien tumbling through time and space to capture decades worth of dance floor musical influence before returning home. Recorded live along the journey — on stage, by boat, and in a camper van — The Way’s hypnotic tracks are an intimate look at the intricate circuitry composing the logic behind electronic music, showcasing where it has come, where it is now, and where it will travel to in the future.

Perth, capital of Western Australia, sits where the Swan River meets the southwest coast. Sandy beaches line its suburbs giving purpose to hot summer days, but after sundown, the city is where it's at... if you know where to look. It's possible that this double-life is what inspired the deep, melodic, futuristic sounds of one of Australia's most mysterious electronic dance music labels of the 90's - Red Ember Records.Helmed by Ewan Jansen and Justin Zerbst (with contributions from Steb Sly and Andrew Carpenter) this micro label powered through the latter half of the 1990's with a slew of back-room productions; barely existent releases that were mainly pressed onto poly-plastic discs and hand distributed at a handful of near mythical live performances and local record spots in their hometown. Suffice to say it's the unique quality of the music contained on these lathes (chiefly produced by Jansen and Zerbst) and the sheer rarity of the physical items that has driven Red Ember firmly into the minds of vinyl fiends the globe over.Deep. That is one word that can be safely used when discussing the sonic bounty contained on a Red Ember record. Ewan Jansen's loose, harmonic style sits perfectly next to Justin Zerbst's faster paced, frenetic Techno sounds. The two's styles complimenting each other perfectly. This is most apparent on this special sampler 12", the precursor to a wider archival compilation of Red Ember rarities entitled "Embers Only: Selected tracks 1997 - 1999", where a track from each artist has been carefully selected from their enviable archive. Culled from 2 of the most sought after titles in the catalogue both "Clearance" and "Red Silicone" are top shelf all the way, enough to get even the most hardened vinyl aficionado cracking a smile.
"Embers Only: Selected tracks 1997 - 1999" - An insight into the extremely exotic sound world of Red Ember Records, forthcoming on double vinyl, fully remastered from all original DAT tapes and compiled with the full cooperation of both Ewan Jansen and Justin Zerbst. Remastered by Curved Pressings, London. Artwork and design by Atelier Superplus.

Recognized for bringing some of the most cutting-edge DJs to Tokyo from its inception in 2013 (starting with a:rpia:r), Beat In Me is proud to announce the launch of its own record label. Catalog No.001 finds Raha, a key contributor to the Japanese club scene for over 30 years, collaborating with his creative partner K-Sobajima to bring us their very first EP. On Side B, we have Romanian up-and-comer Crihan (known for releases on Ultrastretch, Naural, and Eliptic) on remix duties, as he takes a detour toward a more ‘dope’ and atmospheric mood. Working tirelessly while constantly traveling between Europe and Japan, Raha finally delivers on this long anticipated work. And with early full play support at parties and festivals by such top-class DJs like Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, Cezar, Dubtil, and Mihigh, its quality is unquestionable - a true gem of a release, polished through the kind of experience and taste that could only be gleaned from standing steadfastly at the very core of a scene

"STAUB" is a project that came to life in Berlin around 2013. It aimed to detach itself from the hype and business from techno. The idea was simply to not announce a lineup and treat everyone the same without separating headliners from the rest. This strictly equalitarian but also very familial and friendly concept allowed to give chances to newcomers on a regular basis and to build a tight-knit community. As time passed it also became an outlet to release music staying true to these ethos. Everyone is paid the same, doesn't matter who you are, it's all about music and respect.

Tyler Friedman returns to Kontra-Musik with Epiphytic, an improvisational vortex of psychedelic modular synthesizer lines, made in one continuous take. A stylistic shift from Friedman's previous releases on Kontra, the album eschews percussion in favor of an intense pulsing spectrality, situating the music both on the fringes of club culture and in the concert hall. The title - Epiphytic - which refers to a type of plant that grows on the surface of another, non-parasitically, is a metaphor for the way the interlacing and divergent arpeggiations co-exist, forming a larger harmonic structure. The system used in the production of the album acts as a seed to be built upon in a live setting, where the piece can evolve into more esoteric tonalities and rhythms. While Epiphytic is an exploration of 7 limit Just Intonantion, future releases and performances will grow into different tunings and tempos, shifting the genre between fourth world fm, microtonal abstraction and clouds of noise bliss, generating a work in permanent flux.

Paris-based DJ and producer Anetha’s enigmatic label Mama Told Ya is a collaborative venture. Pushing artists out of their comfort zone to new heights of experimentation and creativity, yielding progressive results that challenge and intrigue.
The next instalment comes in the form of a kaleidoscopic debut release as a two vinyl pack from French producer and A/V artist UFO95, titled “Popularity is overrated”. This will be the first double EP on the label, with previous records released as split EP four-tracker collaborations with artists and Anetha herself, including Niki Istrefi, Hadone, ABSL and Sugar.
UFO95 is a French electronic music producer, who finds his roots in 90’s techno, UK jungle and also through IDM, creating a unique tribal sound. His lives ( live ; live A/V ) are like his music, dynamic and really hypnotizing. He releases his debut LP “Popularity is overrated” on Anetha’s label, Mama Told Ya.
As well, Anetha collaborates with a different visual artist on each project; Recsoverto takes center stage on the cover for this release, who combines ethereal visuals parodying Japanese video games and hyper-real typography.
The record is beautifully eclectic and has the effortless feel of a live set from a promising new producer. Opener ‘Sun S4lutation’ is a silky melodic affair, diving into a runaway breakbeat with a hypnotic edge crafting an effortlessly colorful trip. ‘2am’ is a tense nosedive into techno’s heady mutations, harnessing a prevailing kick and wormhole synths.
Up next is the masterful collaborative track with Anetha ‘On/Offline’. The track starts with an infectious energy, before vocal inflections and a dreamy hyper-real synth melody blend to hypnotic heights, transporting the listener to a open-air rave. ‘Should I Go’ is heady and bold in its brutal drum work and twisting synths, ‘Enchanted Forest’ is playful and addictive, ‘Rrkja’ starts wild until heavenly synths glow around the edges, and ‘OE’ carries the sentiment of amalgamation with a fierce kick drum and a symphonic chorus. Ending on a rough edged high, closer ‘Volcano’ takes an IDM approach with glitchy drums, weaving synths and groovy vocal inflections.

Some of these tracks date back to the Berlin days, but ended up being finished in The Hague. A sort of melancholic electro-disco trip with post-goth-punk-wave guitars and a guest appearance from AC Meadows. Super happy to have the first Maiovvi dance album out since 'Driftmusic' - The masters sound great and I'm sure the vinyl will sound equally as good.

Electronic centipede George Thompson aka Black Merlin debuts on DJ Nobu's Bitta label. The British producer delivers four expertly warped techno trips with his typical genre-bending approach. After his recent trip to Japan for Rural Festival 2019, Thompson was introduced to Nobu on the Iiyama train station for their ride back to Tokyo. Inspired by the festival itself and Nobu's approach to techno the two felt an immediate connection and stayed in touch for exchanging their ideas. A few months later Thompson sent his music, visualizing a bridge to connect his music closer to Japan and the inspiration he got from his Rural visit. Nobu: "I was immediately convinced it was a great match, and I could tell he had been following the previous Bitta releases and understood the label's aesthetics. To me, this EP demonstrates his new vision of dynamic techno thats so thrilling as if you were watching a movie, all illuminated in gorgeous pastel-coloured sound effects!"

This record is about absence. Absence of change, of better days, of delights and pleasures that are still to be invented. Longing for better times, missing something that hasn’t happened yet but needs to come, being nostalgic of the future like a cold empty bed longs for warm bodies. Cause the present is resisting, holding on to the comfortable violence of the status quo, closing the castle’s gates ; trying to keep its land, its power and its crown. We can already feel the breeze of the unknown, the urge of better times slowly unfolding, the flames getting stronger. But we’re not there yet. The road will be long and exhausting. I feel like I have been waiting for you in this cold empty bed for a hundred years already and I can’t wait to set it on fire.

"New York based Brazilian artist FadeFace is set to release his debut vinyl record on his very own imprint, Lemos.
Versatile 4 track EP that has been circulating around his live set for sometime now.
Recorded fully off his modular synthesizer, FadeFace’s exploration of hypnotic sounds mixed over an intense progression of 90s styled percussion sits well at a peak time slot at any New York rave.
“Basimilus”, named after a eurorack module, is set at a powerful 147 BPM. Layered with a repetitive, heavily modulated synth that dances around a relentless kick drum.”
A versatile 4 track EP by label head FadeFace
Mysterious and masked techno talent Paul Villard unveils more of his musical weaponry on the Lone Romantic label this August.
Nothing is known about this artist but from the fact that, “strange and unusual superhuman powers and abilities” came to him after a “gamma accident.” He has released on Blind Allies and Applied Research, remixed Carl Finlow and is a producer with a cinematic electro sound.
Futuristic opener 'Side Effects’ is a bumping electro cut with a stuttering drum pattern and squelchy synth funk from another planet. ‘Submarine Limousine’ keeps up the cyborg styles with a crisp electro groove that is run through by sci-fi vocals and effects, while ’Fluid Dynamics’ is all watery synth droplets and fractured vocals panning about the mix. Taught bass stabs keep you on your toes and make for an otherwordly robot disco vibe.
The second half of this well-crafted EP starts with the glowing pads and creepy atmospheres of
‘Bioluminescence’, a classic Drexcyian electro jam that charges hard and deep into the cosmos. ‘Neon Death’ is an explosion of coruscated synth lines and bumping bass, tripped out machine sounds and warped electro-techno before closer ‘C.A.R.R.I.O.N.’ zones you out with intense ambient pads and modulated synths that are restless and paranoid.
With this majestic EP, Paul Villard paints and vivid picture of some distant interplanetary world.
Ryan James Ford kicks off IDA's newly launched Savy Records with a versatile and banging four track release. A sign of what's to come from Savy in the future, the Canadian-born, Berlin-based producer's 'Six Stair' EP is a dynamic, commanding take on break beat infused emotive techno, a flawless blend of old and new.

A Credible Eye Witness & Ghost Ride jump on the dancefloor again to deliver the label’s fourteenth excursion into the unknown! With genius “Elektrik Dancefloor”, you’ll feel like boarding the Enterprise starship in search of new worlds, lifeforms and civilizations. As an introduction, feverish “Back To The Roots” From the first notes contrasting musical textures, ascending the EP to a higher place thanks to brainwashing sequences, some evolving modulations adding three dimension to a song colored with crystal clear synth waves over alienating lyrics and pounding beats. Absolutely stunning! Surrounded by a furiously positive atmosphere, funky “Kinematiks” instantly following tele-transports us at light speed into a ecstatic trip through time and space. Acidic loops combined with retro discoish drums, eerie vocals and haunting melodies characterize a gem that will create a real drama on the dancefloor. Ace! Much anticipating “Future & Future” opens the flipside with hypnotic percussions enhanced by intricate vocals taken from B-movies fused into delayed arpeggios and eerie filters. Final song “Cycle Event” signs a bewitching drum workout laced with dystopian pads and sonic frequencies while some hot modular swirls dilute into a tense bass line. You may definitively loose your mind in this vast and strange universe. Top notch! At a rhythm of one EP every two months, the Italian imprint has never been as much prolific as this year. Here are four fresh outer space and deliciously creepy transmissions in typical A.C.E.W musical standards. Don’t miss them!

Continuing to operate on the very outer fringes of the techno and electronica genre, A Sagittariun returns this Autumn with a new release on Elastic Dreams. Following on from 2013's acclaimed 'Dream Ritual' album and the 2014 single 'The Jupiter Chronicles' EP, the one born under the ninth sign offers up more cosmic techno and astral excursions on the 'Wish You Were There' EP. From the searing techno of 'Loopholes' to the heavy break and subaquatic melodies of 'The Lathe Of Heaven' to the wide-eyed and emotive closer of 'Blakes Vision', another trio of versatile tracks from 'the Archer' here.
Radio Slave and Bushwacka! remix ‘Eye Of The Storm’ featuring vocalist and
drum ’n bass royalty Onallee, with label boss Archie Hamilton serving up a fresh VIP mix.
Taken from Hamilton’s debut album ‘Archive Fiction’, which dropped earlier this year on Moscow Records, ‘Eye Of The Storm’ featuring Reprazent artist Onallee, gets the remix treatment from two renowned producers with a reimagined garage inspired mix from the boss himself. Two acclaimed British artists, Rekids boss and esteemed remixer Radio Slave leads the release with Hamilton’s VIP mix alongside Olmeto and Plank Records owner and artist Bushwacka!
Radio Slave’s remix of ‘Eye Of The Storm feat. Onallee’ opens with a thundering kick, haunting effects, rolling vox-cuts and rattling hats with an ecstasy inducing breakdown. Archie Hamilton’s VIP mix then goes down a classic bubbling bassline route, featuring crunchy cymbals and phasing synths when Bushwacka! then goes on to close the release with break styled drum programming, rumbling toms, zapping flute like samples and jungle shakers on his remix.

Tresor's newest release features BNJMN on Body Reflections Pt. 1.
The four track EP captures a uniquely subdued mood that resides at the nexus of ambient dance music, and that integrates seamlessly with Tresor's penchant for restrained and dub-inflected techno.
Each track on the EP introduces symmetry and rhythm in the form of organic percussion. "Overskies" and "Enceladus" are more lethargic and ethereal, each blanketed with discordant melodies and arcing synth lines. "Hadal Zone" is more dance-oriented - here, a sophisticated interplay of percussive elements loop over plaintive vocals and soft harmonies. "Syzygy" then brings the EP to a techno-focused close with driving kicks, oscillating synths, and repeating minor chords.
Body Reflections Pt. 1 is deeply illustrative of BNJMN's affinity for creating nuanced and delicately balanced layers, and a culmination of his vast experience.
Christine Benz presents the record (PIRAT003 ‘Schöneweide’) on her label.
A timeless record that you learn to love.
Musical legend Steve O ’Sullivan (Mosaic) serves it up Bluetrain style .
And as if that wasn't enough, Roger Gerressen (Irenic) makes everything shake with an intoxicating, emotional number.
This label focuses on quality, passion in sound design and mastering.
All of the tracks have been mastered thoroughly and with dedication by Stefan Betke

Collector is the solo project of Jason Campbell who resides in Newcastle, Australia. Forced Extraction is his first release for Beat Concern following an LP on the Melbourne-based Drawing Heat, and tapes for seminal labels, Night People and Clan Destine Records. Campbell has honed his unique take on experimental techno over the last few years by building compositions with all analogue hardware and modular synthesis. Forced Extraction sees Collector at his most incisive, carving out four pummelling tracks across the 12". Piercing feedback, foreboding synth movements and bass drones are anchored by rigid drum programming with an attention to heavy industrial rhythms. An exciting peek into the coal-face of underground Australian electronics.

Suction Records is proud to present 'II' - a new, archival EP release by Italian duo D'Arcangelo. We like to think of 'II' as an imaginary sequel to the duo's classic 1996 debut EP on Aphex Twin's legendary, now-defunct Rephlex Records (also reissued on Suction last year).
Just like their debut EP, the material on 'II' was recorded in the '90s using hardware synths, samplers, and FX. Also like their debut, 'II' similarly features fierce, crunchy industrialized electronix on Side A, backed with melodic, robotic electro (the D'Arcangelo brothers call these tracks their 'Diagrams') on Side B. Four of the six tracks are previously unreleased, while 'AOM*2' (an absolute monster Rephlex-style distorted beat track) and 'Diagram IX' (a timeless slice of early-Human League-style synth pop) come from long-out-of-print '90s vinyl comps on Eclectic Records and Suction Records, respectively.

When the world slipped into madness last month, the ESP Institute put most releases on the back-burner to await brighter days, but then we thought again; why not approach these odd circumstances the way we do most realities, positively and head-on? We’re committed to a community that builds new worlds — this is fundamental to our creative and spiritual relationship with Osaka-born, cosmos-straggling artist, Ground — and while temporarily we can’t physically congregate to uplift each other, its our responsibility as an institution to maintain a platform for prolific creative pioneers, our cherished cartographers of cognitive escape. 'Wakusei' is wonderfully confusing and disorienting music, a follow-up EP to 2018’s critically acclaimed album 'Sunizm', not created specifically for life under lockdown, but nonetheless aptly suited to help release angst, guide meditation, and assist in making this moment in history more interesting if not transcendental. Whereas 'Sunizm' relied on field recordings gathered from rainforests, percussions learned from imaginary ancient civilizations, and the somehow organic freneticism of a mission control meltdown, the aesthetic of 'Wakusei' reduces this abstract instrumentation one step further to a more base-level array of gurgling synth scraps, accelerating engine friction and static-bound phonetic mistakes, all scrubbed into dust by a Brillo pad of white noise. The cliché of “great art is born out of hard times” is not lost upon us — of course the world will look back to this turmoil and its residual contributions to culture — but we see today's art as an immediate coping mechanism, and artists like Ground helping to unlock and navigate internal utopias. We’re already indoors, let’s delve inside.
Gunnar Haslam returns to Delsin with his third EP on the label. 'Cacique De Poyais' counts thirteen intriguing minutes of rumbling low key grooves. It's dark and shadowy, full of menace and the sort of elongated bit of deep techno hypnosis to take you in on yourself. Backed with dance floor jams 'Port Sommeil' and 'Azote Du Guano' that both bring spangled synths and wonky drums for a perfectly loose sense of rugged and abstract rhythms.

Moreover, it is a way for me to take stock of how I juggle family responsibilities with the work of an artist and how I have learnt to achieve the best of the present moment." - Hendrik van Boetzelaer aka Opuswerk. Following several collaborations as Opuswerk on Francois Xs label Dement3d, both under their joint HISS:1292 project and on his debut album 'Irregular Passion', this is the first project that Hendrik is putting out under his real name, coinciding with the imprint's objective to present a form of 'Musique de Banc d'essai', where emotions and feelings are at the heart of the music chosen with no pre-defined boundaries to limit artist experimentation. Sailing between techno, house and minimal pulsatile music, the EP presents four tracks that will be released in the form of a limited edition 12" vinyl of 300 copies.

Hydergine's musical roots and influences are going back to the classic sound of the 90's dub techno pioneers. His pseudonym is taken from the name of a smart drug used to improve the metabolism of brain cells and cognitive abilities.
With it's dark and atmospheric soundscapes, the A-side track 'Grid' follows that root in a perfectly manner and shows his love for tape and tube sounds. On the flip-side the title track 'Static Frame' offers sparkling synth lines and shuffling hi hats. The modulated echoes go straight from your ear to your brain.
The reduced drums and driven synths in 'Sweep' will finally beam you into a basement techno party full of fog and strobe lights.
After releases on his own Ranges imprint, Separate Skills Recordings or Tiefenrausch we finally welcome the italian producer on Etui.
Played by: Jonas Kopp, Dubfire, Gel Abril, Slam, Subjected, Agaric, Electric Indigo ... and many more.

Scan 7 which is very close related to Underground Resistance, forms a mysterious Detroit underground collective and with this triple album, Scan 7 is back at the front with a varied style from Metroplex reminisced electro to stringing, banging techno and from deeper Detroit house to epic rooted galaxian jazzy vibes, bringing back the heydays of techno's most influential period ever. Starting with the energetic 'Stringing me along' with thick Deja-Vu UR/ DJ Rolando flashes, towards the political tinged nu-classic electro 'It's time' and from Berghain/ Tresor bangers like 'I'm covered' with the frightening words 'no weapons formed against me shall prosper' until deep vibin' floating house sounds from the Motor city, this album is full of energetic tracks with undeniable deeply rooted futuristic funk and experimental Motown vibrations.
SCAN 7`s name (originating from the word DETROIT, which consists of 7 letters, and its area code, 313 (which, added up, equals 7)) will forever remain definitively techno and wholeheartedly Detroit and is here with this 3xLP to infiltrate and knock out!

The album includes the most direct and propulsive Shinoby material yet. There is a functional connection to dance music here, honing in on the celestial bliss's human element embedded within a sound fraught with inhumanity. The music is emotional, hostile, dark, grungy, dissenting, acidic and energetic. Mostly based on repetitive patterns, the distorted yet perfectly balanced percussion drills through the concrete warehouse walls long into the night. The not occasional use of distortion brings the dense atmosphere to near suffocating limits.

Society of Silence is a duo that became involved in the French electronic scene for a few years. They are already known for the wide range of style explored on several French labels and the power and spontaneity of their lives. Too Many Daddies is the ninth release in Activities Record's catalogue, following some previous releases by The Acid Mercenaries, Silicon Vallée, LL321 and two VA's. It is also the eleventh EP of Society of Silence.
Too Many Daddies is a like-minded electronic space saga with strong emotional textures, between hard key sweeps and dark harmony. This record kicks of with A1 Hormone Database, which is a strong funky electro track with a powerful ongoing groove. A2 Iron Penis is a hard hitting acid and hypnotic driven techno track. Undoubtedly another dance floor friendly stomper. B1 Octomom is at the edge between electro and techno. This track sounds paranoid in a very good way. A great nasty dark track with some of freaky vocals in the background. B2 Baby Cluster is a true electro track which demonstrate SOS's penchant for experimentations or No Future, or both...
Too Many Daddies is the evidence that the French duo adeptly understands the language of the machines.

Against a Dark Background – the full-length studio album from long-standing British techno duo, Spektre – will be released in early 2020 on Pleasurekraft’s esteemed Kraftek imprint.
Following their critically-acclaimed debut album Casting Shadows Without Light in 2010 and their sophomore outing Cyclic Operations in 2013, Against a Dark Background will be the third studio long-player from partners Paul Maddox and Rich Wakley, who have been producing together under the Spektre moniker since 2006.
Currently in the top five-selling techno artists worldwide and with over 500,000 streams per month on Spotify, Spektre have taken the electronic music world by storm over the past few years, with their forward-thinking productions and high-intensity live performances resonating with legions of loyal techno fans across all corners of the globe.
Now key ambassadors for British dance music on a global level, Spektre’s chart-topping productions have received high praise from the likes of Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Pleasurekraft, and Alan Fitzpatrick - and the duo are often hailed as one of the most exciting acts to emerge onto the UK techno scene over the past decade.
Talking about the forthcoming album, Spektre commented:
It had been over 5 years since the release of "Cyclic Operations" when we first started work on the new album in earnest, so we wanted it to be a representation of how our music has evolved in that intervening period. The writing process itself was a lot more reductive than the previous two albums. We holed ourselves up for a few months and hammered out loads and loads of ideas, then filtered and refined the pool through playing them out and getting feedback from a few trusted pairs of ears, until Against a Dark Background began to crystallise into its final form.

Scand resident Steve Allman brings together the fast-paced sounds of Detroit and London electro in his debut EP on EON Records.
A key part of London’s longest running electro night Scand for ten years, the south London producer has played alongside the genre’s most important figures The Advent, Detroit in Effect
and Andrea Parker included - delivering consistently high velocity all vinyl sets. Allman’s approach to the dancefloor comes out in its full majesty here on Brainwave. Driven with analogue bass from the Novation Bass Station 2 that’s central to his studio set up, the EP is an uptempo booty moving selection of tracks. Sonically the EP is an expression of Allman’s ear for fast-paced 90s era Detroit electro and the UK’s rave edged take on the sound calling upon freaky synth work, heavy bass patterns and eerie rave stabs to colour the release. What we hear on Brainwaves across the three original tracks is pacey, buoyant and sub-weighted - a record ready to be played loud when the systems are turned back on. Closest influence and mentor Sync 24 drops a bomb of a remix for the title track Brainwave, weaponising it a step further adding a deadly acid scrawl.
Nested Structure is the first Great Circles release from artists outside of Philadelphia. THRIVE are Tetsuya Yoshida and Hitoshi Kojima. They both grew up in the North Kanto area of Japan. They first met at the club run by Tetsuya Yoshida called SOUND A BASE NEST, which is known as having the best sound system in the North Kanto area. In 2007, the duo started their DJ / Producing unit THRIVE. Previous releases have included a split 12' with Keia Yano for Japanese label Struct, and recent solo releases by Hitoshi for Always Human Tapes and for his own label Ambivalent Deviation. This record almost didn't happen! --- Tetsuya and Hitoshi were picking up Great Circles records in Japan and, having periodically communicated with each other about music, they sent us the Struct 12' to check out. While
cleaning out the back of the car a few months later, the presumably empty record mailer was about to land in
the recycle bin when we fortunately discovered a demo CD of unreleased THRIVE material inside. We drove
around listening to it and week later we agreed to release a 12'. The music on the Nested Structure 12' is dark, foreboding, even outwardly threatening. It's hypnotic, textural and rhythmically complex.

First release by new southswedish experimental dancelabel Brutal B Records from Helsingborg started by Nimam Spregleda who is associated with Borft and other swedish labels and a long time underground DJ and exeprimentalist. This debut contains a parade of local artists such as DinSync who runs the nearby RE-303 label, here contributing with a funky wobbly minimal techno track. Also featured is local Synth/Ebm act Goz Mongo Allicance with a unusually funky midtempo driver with the labelboss himself on vocals. The B-side continues with a psychotic yet straight forward Karlskrona style track from Villa bo followed by Nimam Spregleda with a out of sync chicago style acidy track that will challenge and amaze both DJs and dancefloors with its magnificent jacky wobbliness. From Helltown with love.

The Death of Rave is over the moon to present ‘Perfect Oracle’, a staggering debut EP of
hyperpresent dancefloor dread and aerobic-mystic torque by Athenian artist Xyn Cabal.
Years in the works, the 5-track ‘Perfect Oracle’ EP finds Xyn Cabal poetically turning the pressures
of life in Athens and the modern world into diamond-cut but deliquescent future club music.
It’s a cuttingly critical exploration of dance music dramaturgy, crystallising fluid tessellations
of dembow, gqom, weightless grime and kuduro rhythms with emotive, bittersweet melodic
arrangements.
Hailing from Athens, Xyn Cabal’s music is perhaps unavoidably influenced by a timeless and deeply
rooted conception of the syncretic, fractious culture and politics that plays out in his everyday
life in between his studies of mathematical logic - a form of metamathematics closely connected
to theoretical computer science - and the riots which occur on exactly the same city streets
most weeks since the 2008 financial crash. From this heightened yet hyper-normalised state of
mind, Xyn Cabal’s music speaks to feelings of tempered rage and frustration as much as ideas of
reconciliation and transcendence.
With ‘Perfect Oracle’ Xyn Cabal takes the dancefloor as an ideal arena or TAZ for parsing or
modelling this push and pull of physical, noumenal, and virtual forces. On the A-side his 9 minute
blinder ‘E’ traverses a post-apocalyptic playground of brittle but shatterproof dembow drums,
minor key synths and black hole trance breakdowns, before ‘Nowei’ unfurls a grimy cinematic
elegy for the dispossessed. On the B-side, his permutations of Arabic vocals and subbass
loops synch with upended drums in the EP’s titular highlight, while ‘Veil Ordnance’ pushes his
rhythm programming to breathtaking, spiralling im/possibilities begging to be interpreted by
contemporary dance companies, and ‘MSF Venom’ sounds the riot with slow motion Molotov
drops turned into a noisy reggaeton beast.
The results resonate with music from TCF and Æ thru to Total Freedom, Arca and Croww, but
crucially and uniquely, Xyn Cabal’s music strives to consolidate a much broader set of reference
points, navigating mathematically psychedelic, emotive, and remarkably meta routes between
hyperlocal, rhizomatic, and cosmic nodes of the world’s dancefloor.

Johannes Volks career began in 2006 with a real bang. "The Mysteries Of Tharsis Montes" 12 inchdebut from the vinyl collector was released by none other than techno virtuoso Jeff Mills on his Purpose of Mission 6277 label. A special accolade indeed, which proves Volks aesthetic connection to Detroit Techno, something he also demonstrates regularly on his own label Exploration Records.
Following on from the "Tears and Walls" EP, his second release on Cocoon Recordings continues the tonal reference to the origins of techno in a highly unique style. "Nevergreen", with its driving sequencer synth, is a furious and mechanical workout with a harsh industrial vibe and unbelievable string textures that will shake the dance floor to its foundations. On the B-side "Awareness", Volk conjures up an unforgettably romantic soundscape without sacrificing any energy. After a solid minute,
the foggy horizon opens up to one of those rare yet incredibly valuable moments, when you suddenly want to embrace the whole world from inside the club. With "Nevergreen" Cocoon Recordings presents an outstanding new 12" release to usher in 2019 and in doing so, sets a high standard for the coming year.

This is techno and for the moment these two producers from Hamburg and Berlin are your new horizon.
The two DJs started producing together in late 2019, with their no frills & dark, but fun style translating effortlessly into their own productions. Barcelona-based multifaceted artist Raven joins Radio Slave’s Rekids with an incredibly imaginative five-track debut release.
Born in Canada, Raven is a talented nomad who’s been cutting her teeth as a DJ, producer, singer and songwriter whilst living in Los Angeles, Chicago, Berlin, Toronto, and Mexico City. As a performer, she joins the dots between Techno, Acid, Electro and early Rave: a genre-spanning approach she applies to her productions too, making her a difficult artist to pigeonhole. Discovered by Matt Edwards, Raven now joins Rekids - a label responsible for introducing some of electronic music’s most incendiary names to the scene, including the likes of Nina Kraviz and Peggy Gou.
Opening gently with ethereal atmospherics, ‘Flames’ springs into action with galloping percussion, echoing effects, metallic nuances and Raven’s poignant singing. Following on, ‘Saint’ bangs from the word go courtesy of its convoluted rhythm, piercing claps and soaring background synths whilst rave sounds and murky lyrics operate throughout.
Thudding kicks and crystalline pads then pair up beautifully with her serene voice in the lively ‘In2U’, leading into the more downtempo ‘BBGRL’ that employs purring sub-bass, emotional melodies and acid squelches. Tying everything together, ‘Insomnia’ inaugurates with sweet chords and re-pitched vocals before robust drums drive it onwards into the distance.

entred round the songs of principal writer James Howard, Gobstopper is the compelling and cinematic result of two years work with Ursula Russell (who penned two tracks), Dimitrios Ntontis (Dimi the Greek), legendary producer Capitol K, and a host of other beautiful characters. Recorded at London's vital Total Refreshment Studio, this is an album rich in its production, every track exquisitely delivered with layers of harmony and instrumentation. The cover art is painted by artist, Phillip Reeves, taking Mingus' The Clown as its starting point.
Gobstopper represents an expansion of sound and a widening of subject: it is an album sung from inside the gluttonised belly of up-for-grabs capitalist Britain, swallowing up whatever is in its way: a jukebox on the coast, 'see-through wheels on a see-through motorway', Soho square policemen and silent discos. The record roams like a child on a sugar high turning over stones, sometimes finding compassion, sometimes the weird and beautiful, and sometimes just woodlice. Gobstopper narrates the poetic shift: observation and tellings on the experience, emotion when our gaze turns to that curious realm that exists between the day to day living, common need and the conditioned madness of the island of Great Britain.

Tribal Pulse is 5 years old, and we're celebrating with a special series of vinyl and compilation releases, and parties in some really insane locations, including a unique birthday celebration in the beautiful highlands of Scotland.
First up we have Boom Merchant's 'I See The Future' available on 180g vinyl and containing contributions from Italian slammin' techno kingpin Johnny Kaos and Maltese 303 sniper Acidulant.
The title track is a morphing, energetic futurist techno cut. A powerful, bass-driven groove works alongside complex analogue percussion sequencing and growling distortion before Detroit-style chords and atmospherics move in to take you higher, before slamming you back into the dark groove once again. This one is a real bomb waiting to go off.
For 'Sub Mission' Boom Merchant combines forces once again with Johnny Kaos, and in keeping with the theme of the EP, the results are dark, distorted and full of flavor. The track roars through lashings of sub and relentless machine bleeps, drums and noises, jumping in and out of breakbeats with a monster Reese bass chasing you down from start to finish.
To round off the EP, Acidulant does what he does best, stripping the original back to it's bare elements, looping the vocal and creating a Roland-heavy roller full of squelchy goodness.
We see the future, and we are bringing it to you on wax. We hope these tracks put a smile on your face

Re-press in plain paper sleeve.
The second volume of previously unreleased material from cloak-and-dagger Swedish electronics project Civilistjävel!. Until last year's 1 LP their work - created mostly in the 1990s, using Juno60 and Korg MS20 - had never been officially documented or disseminated. The tracks assembled on 2 pivot away from the lonesome, levitating kosmische themes of 1, and into a dronal, dubwise, heavily psychoactive minimal techno realm. We've never heard anything quite like the steamrolling, monolithic, kickdrum-centered epic that spans all twelve icy minutes of Side 1 - never, that is, outside of a recurring dream we've had since childhood about a recommissioned Northern Rail train smuggling munitions behind enemy lines in a future rural Yorkshire as part of humanity's guerilla war effort against shadowy, possibly entirely imaginary Mysteron-like oppressors. Erm...The other two pieces that constitute this LP are paranoid, broken, sub-heavy constructions that have echoes in Jan Jelinek's Gramm or latterday stuff from Hidden Hawaii, but always with that reserve and austere, out-of-time feel peculiar to the true European mutant/drone underworld. Seriously, how had this stuff not come to light before now?!

Influential Spanish artist Coyu is stepping out on his own Suara label with a long overdue debut album entitled ‘You Don’t Know’ that is going to shatter all conceptions about him. Due for release this September 23rd, the 16 track affair showcases his broad range and takes in collaborators like Moby, Lazarusman, The Horrorist, Thomas Gandey and many more.
Coyu quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the most prominent names in underground dance music. The Spanish man famous for his love of cats has established his Suara label as a go-to outlet for the most essential house and tech tracks, as well as releasing his own expressive grooves on Cocoon Recordings, Diynamic, Bedrock Records, Turbo Recordings and MORE. Now he really stretches his legs across a fantastic full length album that goes way beyond the dance floor and shows many new sides to his sound. The artist has been working on it since 2012 and aims to show people that whatever they think about him is wrong.
Says the artist himself, “the album is named ‘You Don't Know’ because many people have a preconceived idea of who I am. Until now, maybe I wasn't smart enough to show them my roots, what I love and what I can offer to the music. I'm not just a DJ or a producer who can play or make grooves – I love many different genres and many different kinds of music. With this album I want to change that preconception.”
The album kicks off with a dramatic spoken word from legendary vocalist Lazarusman before exploring low slung and sleazy grooves on ‘The Three Chimney’, floaty light melodic and dreamy house on ‘Out of The Pain’ and more club focussed but just as dreamy fair on ‘We All Try’ with Mike Leary.
Proving he can do everything from poolside gems to peak time techno, ‘Fear Is Gunna Be A Player In Your Life’ is one to get you in a trance with its sonar like synths and rolling deep space drums. Thomas Gandey aka Cagedbaby then steps up to guest on ‘1+1’ which is a hands in the air piano anthem to pump the party, and ‘Wanna Do Right, Wanna Do Wrong’ is a techno cut with brilliantly energetic drum programming and a big, perfectly placed vocal sample.
Switching up the vibe is ‘I May Be Dead, But One Day The World Will Be Beautiful Again’ with none other than dance legend Moby. It is a heavenly track with break beats, angelic melodies and a celestial feel that leaves you refreshed. The second half touches on raved-up drum & bass, gurgling minimal techno and harder techno with mind melting acid synths. The Horrorist contributes to the banging ‘My First Pill’, while the techno journey continues with ‘Unite’ featuring Gabriella Vergilov before the album finishes on the fluttering ambient track ‘Insania’, with mad church bells and manic percussion all bringing things to a close in style.
This is a broad, adventurous album that covers plenty of music ground and takes you on a true electronic trip from one of dance music’s most accomplished names.
...in the moment of death: "I have deserved my present fate; for what had I to do with wings and clouds, who can with difficulty move about on the earth?"

Rabe drops it's fourth release right before summer with a fresh combinations of sounds and artists that inspire Denise in one way or another. For this installment she's compiled remixes by Insolate, Kwartz, Sstrom and Belief Defect. The resulting EP "The Tortoise And The Eagle", explores the spectrum between hallucination and function, industrial soundscape and dance floor drive.
For the second vinyl release on DNA_rec, Emiel Zwart hit the road again with a brand new EP "Counterattack". The package includes 2 original cuts and remixes from Ritzi Lee & Remco Beekwilder. As a result they've managed to create a distinctive EP which has a variety of tracks that suits everybody's needs for every club moment. Counterattack opens up with constantly driven synths and sturdy basslines and Ritzi Lee made perfect use of these elements for his remix. Church is the more minimalistic approach compared to Counterattack but when that vocal gets in your head and combined with some hard hitting claps and hihats this track can be played at any time of the evening. And to top things off Remco Beekwilder has made a hard banging remix from this cut as you can expect from the talented producer.
Amsterdam based imprint Taped Artifact welcomes Erik Anthony to their label. With only one contribution to the Dynamic Reflection label back in 2017, very less is known about the young Amsterdam producer. But here he makes a stellar techno debut with his first solo EP backed with a Vril remix.
On the a-side things kick off with 'Board Walk', haunting vocal chops combined with droning kick drums combined making it a serious big-room techno jam. 'Oclose' brings more soul to the game, subtle basslines and dreamy synths create an uplifting and joyful playground for endless dancing. Vril then stirs things up, his take on 'Oclose' has more punch, a different energy and his trademark hazy dub-techno twist. Last track 'Separate' is an emotive yet powerful techno workout that closes the four track affair that can be seen as a promising allround debut release.
The record’s structure was inspired by the study of the fusion of two galaxies. During this process, the two celestial bodies are drawn to each other, but also risk being destroyed if they combine inharmoniously - as can be the case with human relationships. The result is a powerful, organic and sometimes dreamy music where rhythms and textures embrace; a record of a touching singularity, beautifully sublimated by Léa Desirolle’s album art.

Senoid Recordings introduces a new vinyl signed by its owner Kike Pravda, and a remix of a very special artist, Svreca. Four solid, wraparound cuts.
The record begins with Ground, a high voltage electrified loop. Dirty hi hats, distorted, hypnotic and energetic sequences that gain intensity until the end of the track.
Velocity is the second weapon in this release, a continuous pattern of warm and aggressive synth, filling the modulated space by sine waves that invites a stellar journey.
With Depth on the B side we find thick, constantly changing analog frequencies creating a deep and dynamic groove accompanied by futuristic bleeps.
Svreca, owner of Semantica label, finalizes this work with his own vision of Velocity, a raw and more hypnotic version, perfect for this record.
Written produced and mixed by Kike Pravda.
Remix by Svreca.
Mastered by Koschitzky Mastering.

A Blade Runner feeling of anxiety blends with playful basses or haunting flanger sounds. Hope flashes from time to time and strong piano events moderate the energetic Hyper Jazz, released in two parts on Lockertmatik as the first. Recommended!!

Marco Shuttle is very much part of the Spazio Disponibile label family: he's put out his Systhema album and various EPs with Donato Dozzy and Neel in the last couple of years, and now the Eerie boss serves up more of his immersive techno excellence. He starts off in slow motion, with the roomy ambiance and slightly spooky dub of 'Ritmo Elegante.' Of course it's a track carefully filled with little sonic details that make it a very real place to be. 'Arpex' then switches things up with a super urgent, super supple acidic techno rhythm thats overlaid with a widescreen arp that sapiens space and time, and 'Stairway To The Milky Way' is a half time stepper though some trippy sci-fi jungle before 'Qatarsi' rides on a floating groove as sound effects pan all around you and traps you in a state of trance. These are expressive, hard to define and excellent electronics once again from Marco Shuttle.

Patch Series returns with 4 unreleased tracks produced by the label's founder, Mique.
The ep was recorded in 2018 in Bologna, experimenting with a new series of "patches" in the artist's studio.
An original artwork was made by Dumbo Beat to celebrate the fourth release. The italian artist also created the new logo of the label.
’La Macarena’ is one of the brightest lights in Barcelona’s glimmering nightlife, and a landmark of the Spanish techno scene. 17 years in daily business brought thousands of electronic artists behind the decks and countless dancers and electronic music lovers on the floor of the legendary micro club. The new music label ’Macarena Musica’ features musical contributions by ’Macerena’ resident artists and special guests - all of them share a big love for ’La Macarena’ and Barcelona. The passionate crafted releases come as limited vinyl-editions and extended digital packages, complete with expressive black-and-white artworks, capturing the atmosphere of the club and the streets of Barna.
For the debut release, ’Macarena’ longterm-resident Patrick Zigon teamed up with his friend Paulo Olarte for ’Belleza Tropical’ - a declaration of love to the club and the heart warming vibe of Barcelona, which is strongly coloured by the latin way of life. It’s not surprising at all that this beautiful inspiration led Patrick Zigon to a tropical excursion into the deep cosmos of latin-infused Techno and House music. As in many previous collaborations, Paulo Olarte refines the productions of the Berlin-based producer with his naughty vocals, resulting in a poetic and love-driven statement for the latin familia. ’Belleza Tropical’ is the first glimpse into Zigon’s third studio album ’Between The Lines’, coming up in summer on his ’Traumraum’ imprint. Beside the Original and Instrumental versions, the single features remixes by the Spanish master of hypnotic techno, señor Eduardo De La Calle, Paulo Olarte and Blanali (digital only). Desde Barcelona con amor!
