Icy polyrhythms, stinging acid, modulated reflections, and hallucinatory waves percolate through the latest solo EP from Rrose. Starting deceptively crisp and dry, all three tracks ooze with the kind of slow building, multi-layered intensity that typify Rrose releases.

Rrose returns to Eaux with three new spellbinding techno tracks. "Levitate" starts patiently with cosmic difference tones and sub bass bursts leading to the sudden drop of hammering, polyrhythmic drums, while "Vellum" is a syncopated, percussion-heavy ride through frequency modulated peaks and belly-churning valleys. On side B, "Signs" takes us on an extended journey made up of resonant kicks and inner-ear arpeggios that fold in on themselves until they finally become invisible...

Ahead of their collaborative album later this year, Pier Bucci and Oskar Szafraniec present their first sampler titled 'Tipico Latino' featuring a remix by El_Txef_A. Emerging in the mid 00's, Chilean producer Pier Bucci first appeared on Cadenza with a release alongside Luciano himself before dropping multiple releases on Crosstown Rebels, including his acclaimed album 'Familia'. Since then he's appeared on Get Physical and Rawax, not to mention launching Maruca Music - a platform for his own music featuring heavyweight remixers such as Baby Ford and Thomas Melchior.
Szafraniec has been producing under different monikers since 13 years old, releasing two solo albums, recording alongside A Guy Called Gerald in 2012/2013, and touring as a live performer. As Oskar Szafraniec his production debut was a collaboration alongside Ricardo Villalobos two years ago, but since then he's appeared on Murge Recordings and Cyclo, as well as collaborating with Pier Bucci on Rawax, who Oskar met whilst touring Japan 'Tipico Latino' features gloomy Spanish vocals as intricate elements are brought in and out of the mix across its nearly nine-minute duration. Subtle throbs and echoing effects are blended with metallic
percussion and deep synths for a wistful and mesmerising aesthetic. Forbidden Colours founder El_Txef_A, whose remix talents have been recruited by Permanent Vacation, Galaktika, Akbal and Culprit, reimagines the original providing a drawn out intro before exploding into a frenzy of crashing cymbals, animated acid and serene vocal moans.

Opening their doors every Saturday for mind-altering shock treatment, Power Station has been giving their raging punters a potent dose of megawatt reality. Their curatorial expertise has established an institution that will now extend the mythical energy generated with a record label in the form of annual limited 12"/digital compilations, grouping tracks that have already become the club's signature tunes. Resident, booker and co-founder Kris Baha finds himself on both sides of the inaugural disc, with the ball of confusion solo production 'Something Something, and again as Heavy Concern in collaboration with Otologic's Nick Murray, a name synonymous with the Melbourne club circuit being one quarter of the Animals Dancing massive. Young gun Disrute captures the optimum warm up set with the shape shifting slow burner 'Ka-Bu' while scene veteran and Haul Music boss Mike Callander discovers a new lab mutation of sci-fi soundtrack, damaged funk and cerebral house.

With almost 50 digital releases in the space of 8 years, it's about time we gave the vinyl junkies what they want: Lazerslut on wax. An intense studio period recently took place and the three originals on this release come straight from the obscure soul of Miro, a genius mind backed by two decades worth of music production experience. The EP comes topped with a remix by Troy Pierce.

A1: I Believe In You is unerringly THE Pajic-sound! On a tight groovin' bass line, the low sneaking voice babbles on a bubbling background until a nasty squeak makes the track go mad.

A2: Ghetto Haus has nothing to do with today's G-House movement. It's Miro's definition of a loopy voice cut, grazing on a seemingly endless cheep with a dirty bass to match.

On the B-Side, Troy Pierce delivers a masterful slice of weirdness with the Jak Da Beat Remix of I Believe In You. The Items&Things producer induces mysterious spaces on a beat full of suspense, creating an ideal backdrop for those more special experiences.

Last but not least, See The Stars shows once again how tight rhythms can be. Shuffled hats and well-directed bass stabs create the flow for a trippy, grinding voice - very sexy. Not one to be missed!

Following up on a stellar 2013, Timo Maas kick starts the new year with the final vinyl remix sampler taken from his album, 'Lifer'. "With its HQ in rural Germany - Rockets & Ponies is a coterie for the outsiders - those 'too strange for the normal business' with an ethos that fosters freedom of expression, experimentation and an avant-garde approach.

So who better to present a remix package of works by Jazz luminary Wolfgang Haffner that includes Ricardo Villalobos & Max Loderbauer, Nightmares on Wax, and label padrone Timo Maas.

'Prolific' doesn't quite cover Haffner's creative output. With a career that spans over 30 years beginning in the German and French Jazz Ensemble and moving on to collaborative works with the likes of Chaka Khan, Bill Evans and Roy Ayres Haffner has appeared on over 350 recordings.

The selected material within this package is taken from his latest album 'Heart Of The Matter' released through The ACT Company in 2013 - 'Bing' and 'Luna' are twisted, stretched and reformed by the eminently prestigious roster of remixers.

First in is Ricardo Villalobos - an exalted genius and champion of freedom of expression with previous releases on Perlon, Playhouse, Cadenza and Cocoon who pairs up with regular studio partner Max Loderbauer for a wonderfully elongated, no-holds-barred dissections of 'Bing'.

Loderbauer himself, as a master of audio design, injects experience assimilated from sharing his studio with Tobias Freund and together the pair opt for their regular method of developing tracks on modular machines using no overdubbing or multitrack mixing.

On the flip, who better to offer an alternative take on 'Luna' than Rockets & Ponies co-founder Timo Maas. Following up his 'Lifer' LP and his 'Tantra' and 'Articulation' EPs, Maas steps in with his brash and physical reworking of 'Luna' that he creatively re-images into a billowing beast.

In doing so he further substantiates his own left-field productions and indeed, Rockets & Ponies is an entirely unique and creative experiment capable of producing incredible results."

Finally, previous collaborator with Haffner himself, Nightmares on Wax steps in with a typically balmy, Rhodes-heavy revision of 'Luna'. The longest ever serving artist on Warp Records opts for signature dosages of Dub, Soul and Jazz that he's perfected and refined over his long and illustrious career.'

The fifth release in Ygrok's limited catalog debuts the DKM project of Samantha Waldram, a native of Barcelona. The A1 is her rework of the sound poem titled - Little Ali Hommage To Forough Farrokhzad by Giorgio Sancristoforo, a contemporary Italian sound artist. The heavy rolling groove makes her track compatible with any dancefloor while still keeping the wild psychedelic flavor of the piece. Giorgio's original piece opens the B side with its disorienting collage of bells, modular bleeps and cresting, tumbling waves of Persian syllables. The EP closes with a stripped down beat and soundscape tool in the finest Ygrok tradition.

After one year from the foundation of ARTS, label boss Emmanuel focused on giving space for all the other sonic artists that he found on his road. He is back to give directives for the label, and give more sonic spectrum for the people. Mentality is the result of a long process, it focus on mechanical quality and precision, Scenario is a picture of something you do not know, but would like to see.

The beauty of ONE OF THOSE NIGHTS can be found in the blend of simplicity and functionality. both tunes are outlined by an almost brutal reduction to the core elements. carefully selected sounds that are arranged in a highly effective sequence of patterns - that is the definition of FABIO PAPA's music. His long time experience as a live performer is reflected directly in his productions. it doesn't take a lot of elements to get a perfect groove he states, but without groove, there is no fire on the dancefloor. the record gets topped off by two powerful remixes by ANDER and the F.E.M ENSEMBLE.

CPU and dance music's polymath Neil Landstrumm share a love for classic bleep techno, hence Landstrumm has brought to the table four superb reminders of the criminally short lived genre.

With spine tingling melodies reminiscent of 808 State's best work, and sub-bass worthy of LFO's bass-bin shaking reputation - A Death, a Mexican and a Mormon perfectly encapsulates not only Landstrumm's influences but also his deep seated love for bleep. A labour of love which the Sheffield based imprint has been only all too happy to encourage and hopes will keep the genre alive for generations to come.

We turn to Chapter 3 as we introduce a brace of remixes by easily one of our favourite DJ's and producers; the one and only Lena Willikens!
We haven't really went in for remixes much before with the label, as we feel strongly about the power of the original. In the right hands, a great remix can be equally as powerful though and Lena has succeeded in bringing her own weird and wonderful sounds to a track from each preceding chapter - rRoxymore from Chapter 1 and Oslo Gabon from Chapter 2 - whilst still keeping true to the original work.

Night Blind is Richard Fearless' second release on Drone's white label series. The title track coalesced in the early hours of the morning as diffuse, Turneresque lights glimmered across the Thames and the container was pounded by a storm. Unnerving and melancholic yet with a glimmer of light, this is Fearless at his best.

On the B side is Cancan. With Xavier's spiritual acid head, Kenichi Iwasa, on percussion duties, this is one for peak time body shaking.

Both tracks were recorded and mixed at the Metal Box by Chris Blakey and produced by Richard Fearless.

After the long awaited and acclaimed return of the notorious Manie Sans De´lire on June Records, one-half of the group, Trenton Chase, returns on the label with a bold solo LP marking his departure from the sound of his previous releases on the imprint.

For his first album attempt, Trenton embarks on the search for everything and manages to encapsulate the whole essence of the June Records ethos within 43 minutes of music.
Although initially not planned as an album, Deadlock was conceived organically as it only took a few months for its completion during the artist's most abundant 2017 studio spring sessions.

This body of work transcends formulaic attempts to showcase a very refreshing and uncompromising take on synth music. Chase followed a crude approach to songwriting, rehearsing and improvising live until the best take would eventually become the final track. Artwork by Florent Mazzocchetti.

After nearly a decade in the making, Zomby finally dispatches Mercury's Rainbow, his astonishing and uniquely formulated dedication to Wiley's series of Eskibeat releases, a.k.a. the cornerstone of grime.
Originally recorded over an intense couple of weeks while suffering from circadian dysrhythmia,
Mercury's Rainbow documents Zomby riffing on intricately hand-programmed arpeggios, using theories of colour and its relation to the sonic chromatic spectrum - the circle of fifths - to place an expressively avant spin on the Wiley Kat's slyding Triton squares and frozen, post-garage drum patterns.
Rather than simply imitating Wiley's foundational unit of grime currency, Zomby innovates with a structure of bewildering, modal styles, refracting 16 diamond-cut permutations according to a colour-sound spectrum of tonalities. In the process he effectively loosens up and liquifies the Eski riddim, rendering its bones and sinew in varying states of reactive, physical deliquescence or GIF-like micro-organisms.
For dancers and DJs, the fluid contours and viscous, displaced rhythmic anticipation of Mercury's Rainbow suggests myriad geometries for movement in-the-mix, and serves to single-handedly put to sleep a whole genre of also-ran, prosaic 'future grime' thru its methodical, inventively ground-up construction.
While it's difficult to say with certainty, if Mercury's Rainbow was issued at the same time it was created, it may have arguably altered the course of UK grime instrumentals in much the same way
Wiley's original template coined a whole new genre, essentially making it the last word in grime futurism, proper.

Anthone and Katsunori Sawa team up again under their BOKEH alias delivering a 12" single on The Weevil Neighbourhood.

On A side "Lancashire", BOKEH explore the realms of Drum & Bass tempo challenging the how-low-can-you-go with extremely deep subs while "Fast Fiver" on the B side doubles up on your regular 4/4 while on a heavy dub chord's leash.

The release comes on black vinyl. The center label artwork is done by Lee Noble (No Kings Records/ Bathetic).

Halocyan outlines computer music's many future possibilities, while remaining actively mindful of its one and only history.

Having released material from such luminaries as Dosem, Paul Woodford, Oliver Ho, Extrawelt, and Joey Beltram - Halocyan continues to assert its influence with their next record: a 2-part EP from Apollo and R&S affiliate Dave Angel.

Founder of Rotation Records and originally hailing from Chelsea, Angel is a Techno emissary whose intelligent, Funk-licked productions have propelled him through a long and illustrious career through which he has consistently branded his own stamp on Electronic Music whilst also remaining highly relevant to modern listeners.

It's this that lends him perfectly to a record with Halocyan who do what they do best in presenting his 'Incoming' EP: a sincerely-rooted collection that comes backed up by label favourite Hackman on remix duties.

'Portrait' kicks things off with jubilant melodies rippling atop sharp, whetted percussion before minor-key sweeps bleed in and bring with them a degree of pensive tension.

A buoyant bass line propels the track from Dave Angel - Incoming EP beneath before Hackman offers up a deftly swung revision rich with his sturdy
subs and idiosyncratic percussive flutters.

Eidetic is a new project from the brokntoys camp, focusing on the deeper side of techno.
To kick off the project, Eidetic welcomes Exhausted Modern - an alias from Layup, the co-founder of Endless Illusion, for a 4-track EP of grimy, grubby, eerie electronics suited for the early hours on the dance floor.

This is the new release by berlin based techno duo I/Y. the music is part of an interdisciplinary project between the international artist collective exc and I/Y which included an exhibition in a downstairs parking lot, the publication of the artistbook "pxrkxnglxt 2" together with the novel "raum in einem raum" by exc-co-founder eric keil and a short unmoved silent film for which I/Y did the soundtrack. This soundtrack now comes as an exclusive vinyl release along with an inlay artist edition, showing the dark scenery where the" film" takes action...
The artist book and the novel are published on rhein verlag and will also be distributed as a special edition together with the record at papierundgelb.de.

Dolphins control the moon. It's quite far-fetched, but what if dolphins are indeed dangerous super intelligent creatures that created a secret base underwater from which they control a mercury-fueled spacecraft From the Earth's natural satellite, they can manipulate our minds with a special signal vastly known as the I/Y XXX sound wave. Think about it, question everything.
This is the beginning of a new series for the label, which will probably showcase different collaborations with dolphins and artists from different fields.

Following on from the very robust debut of his own label Failsafe, Juxta Position deviates back to the more melancholic aesthetic with which he initially made his mark back in 2013 on Mistress Recordings. Drawing palpable influence from ambient electronica like Boards Of Canada, he then reframes the aesthetic, with the help of rhythmic anchoring, on the 12 minute opening opus 'Eureka". However, not to disappoint lovers of the slightly harder, more uptempo, electronic beat, the flip then dishes up two significantly more pressurised techno pieces, the former 'Made In Belgrade' more linear, the latter 'Reimagined' more flamboyant.

After the success of Pangea by Dast , it is time for Kaiser to come back to Etruria Beat . This releases offers four very different versions of the title track - Inside The Circle

Lee Van Dowski makes his debut on the mighty Crosstown Rebels with three delectably dark soundscapes in the Tale Of Ordinary Madness EP.
The talented producer delivered a stunning EP for Crosstown sub-label Rebellion back in 2015 and this follow up exceeds all expectations. The title track is based on a text from Charles Bukowski's My Madness. Opening with brooding intensity it evolves with haunting synths and subtle acid laced over a pitched down male vocal. On the flip The Great Escape and Rapidplatz follow suit advancing with dark, hypnotic layers.
French born, Zurich based Lee Van Dowski has toured the world many times over, as party of Luciano's Vagabundos troupe and as an individual artist. His impressive discography covers labels including Wagon Repair, Cocoon, Suara, Soma, Rekids, BPitch Control, Ilian Tape, and Mobilee. This year shows no signs of slowing down with a release for Nicole Moudaber's MOOD followed by this heavy-weight release for Crosstown Rebels.

Timmo's debut Drumcode release 'We Beat On' carries a flow through out that gives Timmo his own unique sound that has captured the ears of many highly revered techno DJ's around the world. Timmo uses hypnotic sounds and phrases whilst he always maintains a thumping techno beat that underlies all the tracks within this EP to maximum effect. Furthermore, there is a ghostly feel amongst Timmo's tracks that really provide him with his acquired sound, the pads in 'Canvas' are a beautiful reminder of this. Timmo also uses strong synth stabs to full effect that juxtapose against the drums to help create the tension and aggression that is present within techno.

Nach sieben Jahren har(d)ter erscheint nun sein langerwartetes Debütalbum. Der Name 'Black Knight Satellite' wurde gewählt, weil es sich durch seinen universellen, fast extraterrestrisch anmutenden Sound auszeichnet. For the second Bad Barbie Records vinyl release of 2016 we are more than exited to bring you the magnificent work from the Bla Bla Music owner Daniel Sanchez with his Impromptu EP. Here we have four amazing pieces where each one tells a different history. The first one Pearled Into Droplets saw the light after a great Live Jam and the result is combination of several layers of base elements with subtle minimalistic articulations. These, in combination of the bass and synths lines do create a truly amazing micro house piece. The second one Vague, is an atmospheric dub were a single synth chord raises in slowly, followed by a very subtle kick and bass line to set a bit of rhythm to the whole thing, creating a superb dreamy vibe while the chords do their thing with delicate reverbs and delays in the backend. A great musical piece indeed. For the third track we have Yi, again another amazing micro house jewel born from a Live Jam, but this one is even more energetic than the first one and it also includes, besides a rocking bass line, analog synth chords that lifts up the mood during specific moments, which also do their part articulating themselves perfectly with some occasional twisted vocals that helps create an amazing party vibe from beginning to end. And if this wasn't enough we also have Bedroom Stories vocal tool that Daniel included with his delivery, which can help spice up a DJ set with ease.

Jesse Pimenta is a Brazilian-born, LA-grown artist who has previously released on Nous Disques as well as on his own Private Selection imprint. Side A brings two slamming cuts fit for all-out dance floor annihilation whilst Side B delves into more psychotropic yet punkish zones.

We are really honoured to present a 12'' EP collaboration between the mexican band Ford Proco and the legendary UK electronic pioneers Peter Christopherson/John Balance aka Coil.
Ford Proco were formed in 1986 in Tijuana and they are considered the godfathers of the industrial electronic music in Mexico.

The story behind the recording of the two tracks is like a fairy tale.. apparentely the band members Robert Proco (sampler & synthesizers) and Wito Lavolt (bass, keyboards & drums) met Peter Christopherson in Los Angeles in the occasion of The Orb show back in the 90s and they exchanged phones & emails. Months later 'Sleazy' call and invited them as extras for Ice-T videos..

The tracks were composed following the method of the 'expansión naranja'; Peter Christopherson was adding sax, drums and effects, while John Balance provided his magnificient voice.

Both the tracks were originally recorded in Autumn 1999 and they are unreleased on vinyl. The tracks were directly transferred from the original DCC (Digital Compact Cassette) and remastered by the mighty Rude 66.

Artificial Dance is a new record label from Amsterdam. This is the imprint's debut release. It is the first ever release from young Dutch DJ/producer Job Sifre, previously best known for his fortnightly Antikunst show on esteemed Amsterdam institution Red Light Radio.
Worries offers an extended glimpse at Sifre's unique musical vision. It is one that draws heavily on vintage electronic music for inspiration, but also feels fresh and futurist in tone. In turns dark, industrial, hypnotic and mind-altering, the six-track EP bristles with impactful moments of magic.

Check, for example, the gnarled, Mascara-clad intoxication of Element', where fuzz-laden, end-of-days guitars, snaking Middle Eastern style melodies and gruff vocals wrap themselves around cranky drum machine beats. It's like classic European industrial music re-imagined for the 21st century. Then there's Flotter', whose throbbing arpeggio bassline, lo-fi machine drums and foreboding synthesizer melodies combine to create a chilling but muscular mood.

Sifre's love of electronic body music can be heard within the bustling, all-action bassline, fizzing electronics, razor-sharp guitar riffs and matter-or-fact vocals of Worries'. Our young hero continues in a similar vein on pulsating dancefloor bubbler Intex Excursions', which sounds a little like forgotten heroes of 1980s industrial funk dancing all night with modern Dutch electro maestros.

The twisted, distorted nature of Sifre's far-sighted approach is given further weight via A Dime 4ur Decline', an apocalyptic stroll through skittish machine drums, panicked electronics, modular style bleeps and haunting strings.

A sterling debut outing is completed by the EP's mind-altering moment: Planet Stoner'. As clattering percussion hits and clandestine bass whisk us towards an unknown destination, undulating electronic motifs, spiraling synthesizer lines and drifting Arabic flute samples join forces to ratchet up the intensity. By the time the track reaches its breathless conclusion, you'll be in no doubt about Sifre's production credentials.

Late April will see Decay Records return with a new release from Hector, entitled the
'Womb' EP and accompanied by remixes from The Mole and Dan Farserelli.

Mexican producer and DJ Hector's career has been on a meteoric rise for some time now with his material being snapped up for many leading imprints in the industry such as Leftroom, Tsuba, Desolat and Mobilee. The Barcelona based artist also maintains a heavy touring schedule taking him across the globe to hot spots across Europe and the United States and recently launched his own VL Recordings imprint to critical acclaim, here though we see him back on the rising Decay Records imprint out of the UK with some fresh new material.

Up first is the original mix of 'Womb' which takes on a slowly brooding percussive feel via murky drum hits, thundering sub bass tones, swirling vocal murmurs and bubbling dub echoes. The idea behind Decision Making Theory is to propose some stripped down no-nonsense techno, aimed directly at the dancefloor. DMT's first one-sided 33 rpm coloured vinyl release consists of two tracks by Knotweed Records owner Philippe Petit. 'Give' starts with some spaced-out chords and then shifts into a dubby Detroit inspired floor filler. The second track, 'Take', is a much darker heavy peak-time affair aimed at blowing the roof off!

NOON means midday, the time when the sun is at its highest each day, even if we cannot see it. It is the moment of greatest light, where one cycle ends and another begins. It is the end of the day and the beginning of the night. It is that brightest moment that always leads us to the darkest one, and vice versa.

THE EP
Don`t you get fooled by the name of our 8th release! NO UP NO DOWN is the main title and the song itself is everything but linear. The organic percussion rhythms in combination with the warbling subbassline gets you into the groove from the first moment. The booming kicks and rough-hewn hats is lending a vibrant edge to the mix. A morphing ethereal guitar riff, filtered to the edge and the slightly insane giggeling vocal effects, carry you away in a chant-like hypnosis. Nothing here feels like a static loop. It's a masterclass in restraint, tension built to breaking and then get resolved.

MOLIENDO comes with a more fragile and porous drum programming, held together by the slapping hi-hat. When the choral vocals sneak into the arrangement, this fragility transforms into something beautiful and timeless. Exactly the way we like it.

Listening to AYPURA, you can literally see the sun rising. A driving bass fundament combined with serpentine conga grooves and this wonderful piano hook. One for the early club mornings.


THE ARTIST
Manuel Vobis aka SITHÓU is maybe better know as part of his other Project BUNTE BUMMLER. With releases on Labels such as JAMIE JONES`s imprint HOT CREATIONS, 8BIT, LITTLE HELPERS and many others. For this third chapter, Cinelli calls on young upcoming talents from Argentina and Uruguay.
Opening up the A.side, Bodeler lands with his reduced ghettotek funk, which is already one of the deadly dancefloor weapons of some of the most respected DJs out there. Irresistible!

Following up, is Richard Hz. Other very promising artist on Argentine grounds, Hz provides here a burning break track, with clear touches of psychedelic acid and mystery. An ideal track to keep the floor floating in thin air.

On the flip! Alan Castro, hailing from the Atlantic coast of Bahia Blanca, produces here an intimate number packed with melancholy. Jazzy relaxing swings under a sea of glitches, afterhour material.

Bringing this record to the runout is a wonderful and rare appearance of the Uruguayan Z@p. 'Mental Telepathy' is resolutely funky and a clear flashback to the US Midwest right when house became techno.

Durian Brothers album 'Das Macht Modern', released on Kontra-Musik in 2014, remains one of the most sought after highlights in our catalogue. The mad scientists of Salon des Amateurs produced an eccentric masterpiece that can be described in a multitude of ways, straight dance music not being one of them. One of the Brothers, Stefan Schwander, fills this gap with his solo project Harmonious Thelonious. Inspired by American minimalist music and African rhythm patterns, the result is muscular and twangy like an old Radboud Mens record on steroids. Moist and mechanical at the same time.

The 3 musketeers are back, pouring new life into two more obscure, Italian techno tracks from early 90s.Roby J's track Charming the Cobra,' also from the 'Where am I' EP, originally released on Interactive Test records, in 1991. A real trip between psychic percussions and trancey synths.The flip hosts Model Citizen, aka Gabry Fasano, another legend from the 90s Italian Progressive and Techno scene.The right to Dance and Learn' is a perfect after-hour house track, with a trippy arpeggio and deep, somnolent chords.Both tracks have been extended by LOM, assuring maximum joy and mixing pleasure.

3rd part of LNS & DJ Sotofett's 12" trilogy. (Extended Mix) riding 12 min with corresponding TR-808 & 909 rhythms, layered progressive strings & patterned blips. (Techno Mix) with bouncy bass line, heavier drums and amplified strings, the 12" rounds of with thematic beatless (Fuge Mix).

Dresden's Lockertmatik starts his engines for the first time on shtum and delivers a string of tracks that seem to come from a not so far away dystopian future. Here are four tracks that are unpretentious but elaborate, effective but not overambitious. ''Break The Chains'' sets the bars in terms of dark Techno bliss for both basements and bigger dancefloors. On ''Message From The Underdog'' Lockertmatik shows off his knack for acidic perfection while ''Jaku'' gets the Jazz treatment. Finally, ''313 - 0351'' is all about building tension without losing one bit of impact on the dancefloor. The artwork comes courtesy of Carl-Johannes Schulze.

Lost Trax embody the idea of underground techno. The shadowy group, members unknown, began their music careers over 20 years ago. Output may be low, but quality is high; the style being no compromise techno brilliance. And that's what's on show here. Kick drums and squirming acid bars are at the core of "Faith", a track where soaring strings shift and reshape. The chiselled claps and barbed bass of "Flatliner" follows, taking its cue from the heyday of Detroit. A watery world of analogue abstraction greets the listener on the flip, "Lost" being an atmospheric journey into to the squelching swamps of the TB303. Sniping beats introduce the lush tones of "Renderer." Blurring the lines of electro and techno the track is an elegant end to an EP of deep and dense layers.

For its ninth release, Italian label Spazio Disponible looks to countryman Marco Shuttle for a first full length. 'Systhema' comes three years after his last album on his own Eerie label and finds him again focussing on an absorbing ambient techno style across eight enthralling cuts. Shuttle layers sound in subtle ways and has a meticulous attention to detail that results in a cinematic techno style that is cavernous and hypnotizing. Always operating in a region where ambient, techno and heady soundtracks become one, with this album Marco Shuttle once again confirms he is one of the finest sonic sculptors out there.

The essential UK Techno/Electronics duo returns after decades! ' New Aural Discourse' holds four fresh, futuristic and far-sighted British takes on Detroit techno by arguably one of British 1990's electronic music's best-kept secrets. TIP!
'New Aural Discourse' is N.A.D.'s comeback release after over 25 years. Initially, the duo Tony Thorpe and Mustafa Ali released one album, 'The Dawn Of A New Age' which was on sale for little more than a week before it vanished from record store shelves.

they are by dancers, but also for its inventive albums and jam packed compilations. This latest one is another
window into the ever evolving world of Moon Harbour and offers up some real treats along the way.
Things kick off with a first track from label debutant Emanuel Satie, fresh of the back of some big hits on Saved,
Defected and Get Physical. His Now You Know is a rock solid house kicker with tough drums and physical
grooves. Riva Starr then showcases his party starting production credentials with an infectious edit of Paul C &
Paolo Martini, Sable Sheep returns with a dark and ravey contribution in Chaos and label stalwarts Luna City
Express cook up plenty of menace with their atmospheric, siren riddled Call the Police. Berlin tastemaker and
Mobilee boss Anja Schneider then makes a rare move away from her own label to offer the seductive, subtly
jazzy deep house shuffler that is Caracas and Dutch hit maker Sidney Charles summons some slamming old
school magic with his expansive main room tear up, House Is All I Need.
Steel Down from Mathias Kaden is a tightly coiled, bass driven number, label manager Dan Drastic steps out
with the coy aquatic house funk of Room Full of Heroes, Sven Tasnadi builds high pressure and loopy dub
house greatness on Real Box, recent EP artist Zohki goes solo for the airy tech of Crumble and then another
first time Moon Harbour artist, Ninetoes, serves up a restless groove with prying bass and elastic synths that
make you want to shake your limbs. Last but not least, Sabb rounds things out with a light and airy groove that is
well swung, endlessly evolving and stuffed with catchy vocal loops.
This is pure and effective dancing music that comes with plenty of charm and personality and confirms Moon
Harbour and its associates are right at the top of their game. r

Hardcore Monkeys offers the third volume of this great familly sound and internet forum. A-Class historical thing with a thema, this time, about Hardcore. Long awaited one i must say^^. And an excellent combination of talent : newskool and oldschool (yes TSX, now you are oldschool ^^ not the music bro... hopefully).

Minimal hardcore and bloody fat hardfloor... minimistic and loud at bass. A bloody good combination to be played with the Radiation Des Sdillons 01:)

Engineer is a new vinyl-only record label from Moscow, Russia. It's minimal and deep techno, new school house and everything that would make you want to listen carefully while you're dancing to it.

First two tracks of Engineer 001 are made by Wyro, they are light and yet very moving with straight forward swinging beat and harmonic pads. Third one is a remix by Silat Beksi - superb dancefloor tool even tho it's filled with pretty weird, experimental synthlines.
