2000 AND ONE (aka Dylan Hermelijn) has been on the forefront of electronic dance music since the late eighties. His pioneering vision across more than two decades of music genres now ranks him as one the most versatile, in-demand international artists, commanding weekly performances on the house, techno and tech house global club and festival circuits.   
 
Not only recognized as a magnet for the clubbing crowds, he is also credited for championing the sounds of Amsterdam's new school DJ and producer generation and propelling the scene's visibility into the international club headlights with his six Amsterdam labels, of which he co-owns Bitten Records with Sandy Huner.

The clean' is a classic Olympic weightlifting' movement where the lifter moves a weighted barbell from the floor to a racked position across deltoids and clavicles. The clean' is mainly to build power and strength therefore this movement has become a popular training method in various sports to develop explosiveness and speed.

back with another album project, this time from American producer Christopher Ernst, aka L'estasi Dell'oro, who also records as Penalune and is co-founder of the Voodoo Down label. Before now, Ernst has proved himself to be adept at crafting deep and atmospheric, excellently ambient techno on a range of labels. Varying his tempos and textures, he does acid, raw stuff, tough beats and more industrial grooves. Across this new 8-track album, all this and more is explored in captivating fashion. This is an expressive and expansive modern techno album from L'estasi Dell'oro that is perfectly at home on the always interesting Field label.

RAW ROOTZ returns with its fourth release. Its been a hell of a ride already for the vinyl imprint, having seen
003 from Jorge Savoretti and 001 & 002 from Raw Rootz (Scan Mode & Alvaro Sanchez) pick up an
overwhelming stream of support from friends and respected peers.
So to 004 the label welcomes Diego Gonzalez, aka Papol. Having spent much of the late nineties and early
noughties wearing his promoter hat, it was a hook up with fellow promoter Kasper that rst lead to the path of
production. Since his debut release in 2006 - a collaboration with Kasper on Igloo - Diego has gone on to release
music on Ilian Tape, Lessizmore, Savor Music and, very much his home label, Esperanza.

Today, under his Papol guise, he makes his RAW ROOTZ debut with two tough, rough and more than ready
originals in the form of the hypnotic 'Exedra' and the popping synth-driven gem 'Rdl'. For the remixes, the label
call on friend and Savor Music boss Franco Cinelli, who adds his own powerful synth line to Exedra, before Raw
Rootz themselves go to work on Rdl.

Throughout the ages man has been obsessed with the idea of the dead coming back to us, either through the power of faith, magic and/or science, or as (horror) arousing
visitations from beyond the grave. But cold hands like these needn't be physical: an ambiguous childhood memory, a few burning phrases from a book, or a short but powerful patchwork of tones and rhythms can also come back and haunt you when you least expect it.

L'Arbre du Ténéré, known in English as the Tree of Ténéré, was a solitary acacia that was once considered the most isolated tree on Earth, standing alone for over 400 kilometers. It was a landmark on caravan routes through the Ténéré region of the Sahara in Northeast Niger, until it was knocked down by a drunk truck driver in 1973.
Quando gli Uomini Adoravano la Luna is the follow-up to the duo's debut full length La Pelle del Fantasma (Holidays Records). Composers Maurizio Abate and Giovanni Donadini (Ottaven, Fantamatres) build a dialogue between open improvisation and armonic structures, moving from ambient soundies to a texture of soft psychedelia, trying to create a musical portrait of this special tree and its history, from the lonely past to the shape of today where a metallic sculpture replaced it.

Discozma is an Austrian electronic duo consisting of Alois Huber (Electronics, Sounds, Sonic Spirits) and Didi Neidhart (Beats, Sounds, Sonic Effects) with a deep passion for disco, house, dub and space. But most of all they (together with the mixingdesk wizard FALM) love to transform those styles into something else. So disco is just their launch pad to explore other regions. On the other hand we have Ozma, or as they say, Princess Ozma, the rightful ruler of Oz, the land over the rainbow who gave also name to the legendary "Project Ozma" a pioneering 1960s SETI experiment to explore alien life forms in outta space. But their 4-Track 12" is not only about outta space. "Uppsala Jaguar" comes as a modern re-enactment of a drunken Michel Foucault speeding up his car (a jaguar) in 1955 thru the city of Uppsala/Sweden. "Lavender Island (Disco Montez)" is an incredibly strange sonic trip to an enchanted island with exotic life forms, dedicated to Princess Ozma, Jack Smith, Mario Montez and Thee Deep Ones. More party goes on with "Under Green Wigs" where kinky rhythm machines in drag going wild at a fancy ball at the house of Jacques Lacan who wears one of his favourite green wigs. And with "Space Jaguar (FALM Remix)" we'll meet again with Foucault. But this time (with vocals contributed by the famous Austrian painter Elke Silvia Krystufek) our Uppsala Jaguar is heading outta space after tripping on LSD at the Death Valley in 1975. New Jersey's finest returns to Ovum with the much anticipated follow up to his hugely successful and widely supported 2014 'Get Deep' EP, a release that saw Harry return to his roots and deliver, with the title track, a true festival and Ibiza House anthem. Aquarium and What What, the latest double-header from Romero, seeks to carry on from where his previous Ovum outing left off... With its echoing sax and signature snappy percussion, Aquarium leads the release with its wonderful balaeric mood and flavour. Amazing stuff that is not to be missed

Last summer, John Dwyer came back from an Oh Sees tour talking about a fantastic band he'd played with in Detroit called Mountains and Rainbows. What followed him home was a double-LP's worth of shopworn weirdness and a delightfully loose attitude that must have something to do with the ecstasy of a Midwestern summer. These backyard freaks jam into the twilight, led by a vocal quaver belted to the cheap seats, a groove and a grin and a heaping spoonful of 'damn, aren't you glad we came out tonight' Vibrant and confusing like the insane-o cover artwork that appears to be constructed of many layers of fluorescent duct tape.

Careening from the mellow chugger vibe on 'How You Spend Your Time' to the tightly wound twitch of 'Dying To Meet You,' Mountains and Rainbows stretch their legs deep into the strange, with a dark oddness lurking in the corners of tunes like weirdo highlight 'With Beefheart.' Particles is a great addition to a little journey of one's own, perhaps, and just in time for the sunlit afternoons to come.

Hotflush Recordings is delighted to announce the arrival of a second full length from Sepalcure, the American duo made up of Travis Machinedrum' Stewart and Praveen Braille' Sharma. Arriving four and a half years since their acclaimed debut, 11 track album Folding Time is a singular and tender statement that lands in May 2016.

This special coming together of distinctive musical minds produced a much-loved, self-titled debut LP in 2011, plus six EPs between 2010 and 2013, all of which suggested a penchant for broken beats and bright melodics. Both have since furthered their accomplished solo careers - Braille released his debut solo album Mute Swan, while Machinedrum's experimental exploration of Vapor City landed on Ninja Tune - that have kept them busy in the studio as well as on the road. As such, and owing to their insistence that any production work had to be done in person "since that results in a certain sound and experience you just can't recreate remotely', the new record took some time to come together.

The album, written over many bottles of whiskey, is made up of brand new music, but also tracks that have been worked on, forgotten, then revived over many years. Its title comes from the fact that, it felt like we were connecting the present with the past.

Going through each session was like digging through old memories.' Stylistically, of course, this pair have very different musical DNAs, but that means studio work cooks up many surprises along they way and results in an album that is awash with everything from field recordings to guitars and electric piano. It is a mix of playing and programming, has many multilayered tracks full of intimate and personal easter eggs and is, essentially, two homies hanging out and having fun, a meeting of our minds.'

Right from the distant vocal mutters and blissful guitar licks of opener 'Fight For Us' featuring Rochelle Jordan there is an seductive r&b sensibility to proceedings. Tumbling drums and pained vocals have you in a love locked free-fall before 'Not Gonna Make It' gets to the point with Sepulcure's trademark stuttering drums and fractured vox. 'Devil Inside,' featuring the pair's long time friend and collaborator Angelica Bess, is future pop from a perfect world, 'No Honey' strips things back to a harmonic headspace of bumpy rubber kicks and percolating jungle percussion, then 'Been So True' shows a playful side, lovable sense of sampling and broken reggae rhythm. The second half of the album explores direct dance floor grooves on 'Hearts in Danger', snaking synths and reverb rich beats on 'Loosen Up' and deeper, more introspective moments on tracks like 'Dub Of' and 'Brother Forest' before closing down with a brace of blissfully melodic and dreamy excursions to a beach during sun down.

With plenty of well-paced peaks and troughs along the way, as well as a underlying sense of humour and a very real human warmth, this is an album that works on both head and heel in equal measure.

Shit Robot wartet auf seinem dritten Longplayer mit illustren Gästen wir Alexis Taylor und Nancy Whang auf! Markus Lambkin aka Shit Robot präsentiert mit "What Follows" sein neues Album, das am 06.05.2016 via DFA erscheinen wird. Die Anfänge des neuen Werks finden sich einmal mehr in Stuttgart, wo Lambkin lebt. Zusammen mit DFA-Kollege Juan Maclean wurde das Material dann in New Hampshire gemixt. Generell wurde das Album durch viele neue technische Einflüsse und Experimente geprägt, neben Hot Chips' Alexis Taylor befinden sich auch Kollaborationen mit Nancy Whang, Museum Of Love, New Jackson und Jay Green auf "What Follows".

"[2016]"is the follow-up to Switchblade's Swedish Grammy Award nominated and critically acclaimed "[2012]" album. On "[2016]", the 7th album, the band has once again taken one step forward and two steps back with a slightly different approach to their minimalistic doom by turning up the tempo, adding more melodies and alot more textures.

In its nineteenth year of existence, Swedish band Switchblade is ready to unleash its brand new album [2016]. Core duo Tim Bertilsson (drums) and Johan Folkesson (guitars) once again teamed up with sound wizard Karl Daniel Lidén — whose services already have been used by The Ocean, Katatonia, Greenleaf and many more — to create yet another 40 minute slab of their unique proggy doom. Switchblade's last effort, [2012], included guest appearances by Kongh frontman David Johansson, keyboardist Per Wiberg who has played with bands like Opeth and Candlemass, and Katatonia vocalist Jonas Renkse. The outcome was an album that not only received rave reviews, but also earned nominations for a Swedish Grammy and a Manifestgalan prize, annually presented by SOM (Svenska oberoende musikproducenter), the world's oldest indie label association. During the past 4 years the band has played a decent number of special gigs - including performances at the legendary Roadburn Festival in Holland, as well as several support concerts for worldwide favorites Ghost.

[2016] serves up three brand new, lengthy tracks, and finish off with a blinding cover of legendary British progressive rockers Atomic Rooster's classic 'Death Walks Behind You'. The album sees the return of both Johansson and Wiberg, with an even more remarkable result — those who appreciated [2012] will love [2016]. The new album is by no means just a repetition of a previously successful recipe. With its classic yet new take on the band's trademark sound, [2016] will appeal also to those who enjoyed the band's earlier work, as well as a brand new audience.

A1 Nubian Mindz - Deep In Raves:
Well known for his versatile and rich production, Colin delivers once more. With a quite suitable name - Deep In Raves is just that. A deep plunge into dark and rave-like atmosphere. After a short intro layered with an ominous voice, massive bassline takes over and drives the track through the darkest curves. Enriched with short percussions and a synth stab this is quite a stomper best experienced on a good club soundsystem, preferably in the dark. A2 Volster - Nebula:
Almost obsessed with audio purity, Volster manages to combine new and modern sounds with old-school genre roots. Nebula is all about complexity. Although it is based on an electro foundations, it's so much more. Space filled with an oscillatory synth motion perplexed with smooth pads that gives the impression of an interstellar properties. No detail is left unengaged, from the 808 that keeps everything in motion to the subtle amount of panning. This is a beautifully crafted story by a producer who is slowly but steadily growing into one of the best Croatian artists.
B1 Lucretio - Dracula:
The most famed beard of Cadoneghe/Italy has pulled another magic gem from his music source. Widely known for his relentless tendency to push the analogue spectrum to it's extreme, Lucretio surprises once more with his ability to blend simple pieces into an effective sub storm with almost comic like features. Dracula is not your conventional tune and it's pretty obvious why as soon as you put the needle on. Broke down rhythm is heavily fueled by polished but enormous sub background with sparse and ¥in your face¥ shots. Seemingly random notes take a gloomy and powerful form during the break and soon the lurky atmosphere comes into picture. This is truly brilliance in it's full simplicity. If only Bram Stoker could hear this, he would probably be both stunned and amused! B2 James Booth - Jxst Do It:
One of our goals on Vakum is to be on a lookout for a new and promising talents. Berlin based James Booth surely fits the bill. Jxst Do It is a seriously crafted track with rich rhythmic section wrapped in a steady build up. After the initial break-beat intro sliced in short chunks, subtle 303 bassline takes over and the rhythmic game begins. Booth delivers a perfectly timed cuts accompanied by a diverse palette of percussions. This is a perfect piece for those build up moments in the club..

Lopasura again delves into picturesque soundscapes drenched in emotion and melancholy, illustrating a typically dystopian setting for its latest offering. The A-sides opening track by Mark Forshaw is lean and mechanical in its make-up with an off-kilter combination of thick, stuttering bass stabs and percussion; creating a rather menacing undertone.
As a stark contrast, 'In the Smoke' by The Acid Mercenaries is a nine-minute tracky, steam train of clean and crisp scuttling hi-hats and razor-sharp percussion that dance around the relentless 303 acid line and beautifully soft 808 kick to devastating effect. On the flip side, a thunderous bass drum and freakish electronics stalk the discordant and arpeggiated synth that opens 'Hierarchy of Heritage', evolving it into some kind of hellish themed marching tune for the underworld. Frey then rounds off the EP with a typically rugged yet deliciously intricate piece with Gdn, effortlessly maintaining an intelligent groove throughout.
'Connect Four' is a rather fitting title for this EP, given the undeniable chemistry between all the tracks in how a story is told and tension is created; as Frey has done with the two previous Lopasura releases. The introduction of three debut artists on this release has paid off however, nestling comfortably into the label's aesthetic without compromising on the quality.

With the first Monasterio release, the team behind the Moscow clubbing institution has aimed to recreate

from the compilation strives to represent a dimension of the club's style, starting with powerful opener The
Chamber. Oliver Deutschmann, a close friend of Monasterio, references the main room of the club and takes
us on an anthemic ride full of organs and sonic spectrum requisitioning buzz. The mutating and pulsating groove
of Russian resident Unbalance follows, bringing forth a change in the atmosphere and the hypnotic synths

Those of you who follow Yerevan Tapes releases won't be unaware of Marco Bernacchia's mystic solo project. After his Unconscious Cognition is the Processing of Perception tape debut, the man behind VIRTUAL FOREST is back with a two new long jams this time deservedly pressed on wax.

Recorded at home sampling sounds and chants from the world tribes, Ritual Machine Music begets 30 minutes worth of music intended to be patrimony of the world community.

Mixed by Marco Bernacchia himself and fellow Maurizio Abate and mastered by Italian experimental guru Giuseppe Ielasi, the album features cover artwork by Manuel Scano.

Running Out of Red is the soundtrack to getting high and driving around in your shitty car in your small town, occasionally getting laid...occasionally getting laid out at the local liquor store by an older dude. Gang vocals: check. 1-2 pit beat: on lock. Shredder solid state guitar heroics: ripping, and so should you, the bong is packed and I think there's still pizza in the fridge. Adding to his extensive and diverse catalog, Alexi Delano delivers his first release for Spectral Sound. My Busted SH-101 is an ode to the beloved and portable synthesizer made by Roland in the early 80s, not long before Delano started DJing. As a producer, he's earned a reputation for being a bit of a machine himself, churning out records on a wide variety of labels over the last 20 years. He holds his own in house music under his A.D.N.Y. moniker, but it's with tracks such as this one that show off his love for dark, weird techno that sits comfortably alongside Spectral's finest.

'My Busted SH-101' flutters and pulsates wildly throughout, with a heavy bass kick driving from the start. The sonic rabbit hole soon opens up to crackling, crunching melodies - Delano pitching up and down, making the synth sing in his own experimental fashion. The b-side remix is also a gem, provided by Alexi's long-time friend and occasional production partner Jesper Dahlbäck. Going by his revered alias The Persuader, Jesper's interpretation adds beautiful, sweeping dub echoes and pushes the lower end to the front, creating a strong dancefloor vibe with warmth and attitude.

We are very proud and honered to release this ep by Function aka Dave Sumner from Sandwell District.

One of techno's true underground heroes, Function (Dave Sumner) has been DJing and making music for over 15 years. Hailing from New York, he was seduced by techno music when Jeff Mills held a residency (as well as his own first) at the Limelight in the early 90s. Dave started to produce music and from the mid-90s onwards, put out music on Damon Wild's Synewave and his own Infrastructure imprint.

Together with Regis (Karl O'Connor) he worked as Portion Reform, putting out uncompromising music on Downwards and becoming the only non-Birmingham producer to release on the label. In 2008 Dave moved to Berlin, still working with Regis, and now Silent Servant (John Mendez), put his focus on the acclaimed Sandwell District imprint.

Obsessed is a supper powerfull floating track for the dancefloor, a typical Function production.

This ep also contains remixes from Substance and SCB aka Scuba, both peak-time tracks.

Belgian duo GoldFFinch finish off Turbo's latest series with three prime cuts of springy warehouse thumpers.

Four years into their production career, these two young Brussels-based producers have already put out a dozen releases, and in the process gained the support of the likes of Loco Dice, Phil Kieran, Sinden, Djedjotronic, Mary Anne Hobbs, Claude Von Stroke, and Jackmaster. Their sound has remained consistent while slowly evolving, shifting deeper into the realm of pure techno, achieving terrific impact through sparse elements, increasingly honing their talent at sculpting each sound.

There's a definite feeling on this EP, perhaps their nod to the notion of 'warehouse.' You can hear a spectral glimmer of rave throughout the tracks. The winding, hypnotic synths on Stronghold evoke, or rather, produce trance, the arpeggio and brief vocal 'WOO' sample on Bis Repetita are distilled tropes of an era. The palette on Europa goes even deeper into the shadows, a proper trip-out, heads down, shoegaze tool, that finds it's centre in the ominous bassy pad that thunders in to the mix, vaguely recalling jungle. And all the tracks are enmeshed in tightly constructed, blacklight-sensitive beats that sounds distinctly modern... all told, they present a very refined and subtly original version of good old techno.

Micha³ Wolski is a Polish musician, music journalist, radio DJ and tireless promoter of dub techno aesthetics. Eight extended compositions on his new record La Mer' (Sea) recall those special moments when sound becomes a movement of a kinetic sculpture, an abstract painting, or a cinematic report from the Arctic solitude. Personal and introvert, yet simultaneously carrying certain universal message (cosmic loneliness molecular life), sound space created by Wolski manages to seduce listener and inhale her/him for whole 75 minutes. Associations with sculptural work with matter are not purely arbitrary. On his fourth full-length, artist consciously shapes complex and saturated form, further developing - on evidence on his earlier releases - penchant for exploring darker alleys of synthesis and sound design. In his varied and consistent narration, one can find a whole range of references to noblest protoplasts such as Pan Sonic, Rhythm & Sound, or even Vatican Shadow's desert manipulation. However, the key to album's consistency does not rely on the power of quote, it rather manifests itself in sheer scale and depth of imagined atmospheres and non-existent geographies. But Wolski's constructs are much more than a set of sea sound fantasies. La Mer' is a highly individualist vision of new worlds of listening AND hearing, truly deep acoustic ecology in time of overall hiss.

VENT loves raw and unpretentious techno. The second love dose comes from no other than Miss Sunshine, who has distilled her intimate knowledge of techno dance floors worldwide for us into two driving tracks - one of which is remixed by Zadig. In this instalment, Miss Sunshine plays with the dichotomy between the feelings of entrapment and revelation, and does so in the language that VENT prefers to communicate with: no-nonsense, stripped down techno.

'Trapped' is filled to the brim, curled tightly into position ready to burst with kinetic energy. Like a compressed spring, it waits to be released and yield to its essence, free of containment.

'Revealed' on the other hand is an amalgamation between relaxedness and vital energy, as its cool pads contrast with the tireless percussive rhythm. To reveal does not mean that it shows, it means that it lets one see.

Breathtaking debut album by Spacetravel.

Having already released on MOS Recordings' sub label MOS Deep before now, Stephen Lopkin is now back with a second four track effort, due for release in April. The Scottish artist has been making prickly house and techno for almost a decade now, and on the four cuts here he once again showcases a serene and slick style.
Opener 'Och Aye' is Detroit styled cut with rich synths dancing about above rubber drums. It makes for a shiny, electrified atmosphere that is clean and sleek and emotive. 'Weegie in Wigan' is a much more peak time cut of cackling percussion, sombre chords dampening down raw drums and a wild FM baseline that adds an old school feel. On the flip, 'Ball & Chain' is another busy house effort that has hi hats spinning like plates, thudding kicks and whole eco systems of synths darting about while 'Meall' ends the EP on a masterfully melodic and heavenly groove that journeys through the starry night sky, wired up with electronics and stuffed with machine made soul.

Our tenth release is here and it's swarming towards you! Kicking off the a-side is AnD's concrete-heavy 'Higgs Boson', which flattens all in its way with one of their most distinctive lead lines to date. Following on from that is the screaming acid of Martyn Hare's '2BE&aBN', that sounds like a building being levelled again and again and again. Johan Platt and Boner M's 'Antsinplot 05' is a distorted jackernaut of extreme proportions that drills hard, while Papers get loose with the all-singing, all-squawking electro-techno hybrid 'Calum'.

Getting onto disc 2 and DeFeKT further enhances his techno credentials with '6 x 6' - a minimal but dynamic slab of modular action that keeps building and building. Power Vacuum's Bintus turns in an acid noodler in the best possible sense through 'Indigo Waste'; displaying a production prowess akin to those deep sea dwellers in the process. Onto the final side where Neil Landstrumm exhibits his pioneer status - juggling rave, dubstep and arcade-powered techno into the cleverly executed (and named) 'The Rise of Slime'. Newcomers Ordinate (JP Hartnett and Bjork production hand John Flynn aka Spaces) rather fittingly take the baton from bass commander Landstrumm, firing us into another galaxy with the tense, pulsing bass reactions of 'OR 06'.

The first vinyl release by Ukrainian label Subself presents the compilation including both label residents and new artists. X EP includes four tracks made exclusively for this release.

It starts with DSCRD's track which perfectly blends experimentalism and techno traditions into nine-minutes-trip gets with a peak by acid bass and distorted modular chords. Vadim Griboedov continues journey with off-beat techno construction balancing on the border of minimalism and nihilism.

On the flipside Rasmus Hedlund present dubby side of Subself with his slowburning Extorter decorated with delays and glithes. The last but not least track of X EP belongs to Echologist, man which production always surpising and visionary. Explorer is not exception - it's mesmerise with the deepness and transparency at the same time.

Madrid based artist ''Irazu'' has a couple of tricks up his sleeve. Apart from creating outlandish rhythms that are hard to pin down to one specific box in the spectrum of electronic music, Irazu also proves to have a strong visual and intellectual identity.

With titles such as ''Tolerance for The Absurd'' and ''The Situationist Was Not Alone''to back this up, Irazu's first solo EP for the soul notes off-shoot ''Stale''is an intrusive blend of harsh tones, exotic drum patterns and firmly built repetitions of sound. Irazu's ability to camouflage certain sounds and make them cut through the mix with great strength is showcased in ''The Situationist Was Not Alone'', where the main lead sounds rather like a ship horn of some sort than an actual synth sound.

The build of this opening effort is hypnotic, while the lead sound maintains a mantra-like repetition. ''Tolerance For The Absurd'' sounds like a lost jungle tribe travelling in the hold of a transatlantic fright vessel.It's exactly this need for abstract descriptions that describes the atmosphere of this cut best. Again, a mantra like repetitive tone makes one want to replay this again and again.

For the B side ''Northern Electronics'' stalwart ''Acronym ''steps up with a charachteristic remix for ''Tolerance For The Absurd''. The artists ability to alter moods with minimal edits and smartly placed bits of sound is exactly what he is showcasing throughout this heart wrenching mix that spans for 7.36 minutes.

''Corrosive Suddenly Breath'' is another Irazu original that subtly closes down this 12'' with great effort. Psychotic sounding bits of modular tones serve as a lead-like sound supported by a hazy tone that lieas underneath and a sucking bassline that feels like the cut is a vacuum of sound balancing smartly somewhere in between contemporary techno and industrial soundscaping.

Four our big sixty release we Inmotion Music welcome back rising talent Wigbert. Wigbert's 2014 relases on Sci Tec, Rawthentic and Level Non Zero prove his already active resume. Snapshot EP delivers an array of club hits that will show you why he is here to stay. Over the last twelve months the likes of Carlo Lio, Victor Calderone and MiniCoolBoyz have all featured Wigbert's music on their labels.

Ambient techno exponent, A Sagittariun, fires off another full-length album transmission this April on his own Elastic Dreams label. 'Elasticity' is the Bristol based artist's second long player, and the follow up to his acclaimed 2013 debut, 'Dream Ritual'. Having last released a trio of singles in early 2015 (for Hypercolour, Secret Sundaze and Elastic Dreams), 'Elasticity' marks a return for A Sagittariun, and fans of the slippery and elastic sounds that hallmarked his debut album will not be disappointed. 'Dream Ritual' helped firmly establish A Sagittariun as an artist whose musical chops and integrity operate largely outside of the mainstream and a producer who chooses to put the music firmly center stage, whilst opting to remain relatively anonymous within the music scene. A Sagittariun explains, Elasticity was recorded over quite a short period, but the sketches and ideas have been germinating for some time, so sonically it's very coherent and consistent and moves in a way that I personally like albums to move in, with a narrative and flow that holds you right to the end. The recipe for Elasticity was always to be malleable and pliable with the sounds and tempos, for me it's all about the listening experience, and creating a landscape and a world within that one can really get deep into and explore, it's optimistic and progressive music for the head, heart and feet. I really do advise the listener to don headphones and take the trip with me".

The Abstrat Matters Duo is back after releasing the hottest title on the Cynosure label in 2014! With regular play from legends like Derrick May to Danny Tenaglia. Cray76, Joakim's dance project, is back with a 2-track EP.
On the A-side, this is what we would call a banger here at Crowdspacer. Simple, stupid, raw, funky. Is it a tribute to New York Not sure but the B side certainly is. To be more precise it's a tribute to Merce Cunningham, the legendary choreographer, close collaborator of John Cage and genius thinker who inspired the name of the label. Based on a recorded lecture by Merce, the eponymous track is a slow, hypnotic and organic house groove, an ode to movement and NY avant garde, because "...Dancing is a visible action of life.

Ultramajic, loves to court the weird, the mysterious, and the supernatural, which makes it a perfect home for Crystal Bandito. The label's latest signee is an unknowable entity with no narrative and no physiognomic features at all who debuted on the latest Metaphysix compilation with "EEEWalk." The same track will reappear on the first Crystal Bandito solo EP alongside three new productions, which label boss Jimmy Edgar has included on his forthcoming mix for the FABRICLIVE compilation series. The tunes jive well with Ultramajic's cybernetic take on psychedelia; metallic claps and rigid machine funk beats abound, often peppered with slick dehumanized vocals and doused in a digital sheen.

Deo & Z-Man, the blood-brothers from Hamburg, pulled off one of the most creative feats of last year with their debut album, 'No Bullshit', with zero BS but plenty of
inspiration, the pair melted together a range of
influences with a healthy dose of tongue-in-cheek humour
for their underground opus. The remix LP to follow this EP solidifies their commitment to the eclectic,
drafting in friends and family like Lee Burton, Erobique and Tigerskin to rework the magic.
This 12" package of highlights from that the upcoming remix LP pulls together a selection of the ingenious remixes. 'Chopped Memories' transforms from a laid-back groove with elements of hip hop and the cosmic, to unhinged neo-electro in the hands of the mad scientist
ARTTU. Shading in the gaps with static, sirens, and serrated electro edges, ARTTU makes for a deeply memorable
and deeply quirky stomper.

The UK's newly inaugurated Future Primitive label holds a candle to its name by unearthing two Leo Anibaldi productions from deep within the Roman's voluminous back catalogue. The two-track 12" debut sees Anibaldi provide the label with a contemporary 'Stretched Edit' of 1994 production "Fusion 1", a cut lifted from the Aeon EP originally released on the now defunct Italian label, ACV. Future Primitive has also given ambient number "Evocation Part II" a full remaster and B-side privileges, honouring an esoteric production from Anibaldi's Void LP that was originally released on Aphex Twin's Rephlex label in 1996.

Singular Records is back with a brand new ep by the label head himself, Marcelus. You will find very deep tracks in this new ep,
detroitish grooves and soundscapes. The A side contains two techno cuts, "Another way" and "Sonic Cigars", perfect for intense
techno moments on the floor, and are very disctinctive by the groove and colors The B side is a more atmospheric one, "Enlightenment"
is the one for special moments full of sweet textures that gives real deepness. And closing the ep, "It's out there", a deep ambient cut,
showing once again the extented tastes and skills from the parisian DJ.

Its very cohesive much like your previous EP's but quite unique as well. I sense a really strong relationship to jazz influences which is a

NHK appear on LIES with a deadly white....

Starting with his track 'Tonal Response', Petter B has incorporated chunky drums with a melodic synth to give this track an industrial feel that will leave its stamp in any club. 'Filtered Tone Sequence' uses a tonal sequence and filtered cut offs to give this track depth and character. On the flip side, 'Tone Reproduction' uses short stabs and a reverberated percussion to create a phrase that has a perfect juxtaposition with the bass to create a funk driven groove. 'Atonal Dub' is the final track to close the EP and is based around a weighty rhythm section to create an absurd groove to keep the dance floor moving.

The mighty Qindek returns to Wolfskuil for his sophomore hypnotic workout. On this 3 track EP he showcases his unique talent for melodic sounding atonal sequencing (if that makes any sense) and stripped down grooves. In titletrack Modu he stretches his signature sound to almost epic proportions. Over the span of 12 minutes he stretches and bends a seemingly simple idea like rubber without losing a second's tension. Both Due and Krux are pieces of sophisticated dancefloor DJ tools dripping with atmosphere and depth. Two perfect secret peaktime weapons for those who know.

Be As One is once again showcasing the talents of a young and bright producer with a promising career ahead of him. Yotam Avni's unique approach to music didn't took long to be noticed and brought onboard by the Be As One crew. Yotam debuts on the Israeli label with an EP that reflects how he sees Techno: dark, raw, pumping, relentless with 'UR Sleeping' on the A side; emotional melodic, driving with the Detroit inspired 'Better Days' on the flipside. Timeless techno once again on BAO.

Zipper is Zemi17's second release on The Bunker New York, and sees him expanding his musical palette considerably, in which his gamelan-derived sound design pushes further out towards the expanses of techno's realm.
Zipper is the product of years of work. "The tracks on this record began as field recordings taken from Indonesia — insect sounds, gamelan, found sounds," says Kuffner. "Each of these tracks comes from a different stage of my music-writing process over the years. I eventually developed a kind of 'sketch and improv' technique, re-arranging groupings and arrangements of a series of elements. Zipper reflects a culmination of this technique, and in my opinion, it's representative of some of my best work."
