After a decent break, while celebrating the 10th release, Mojuba is back with a fresh and exciting new talent. We are speaking about Tokyo resident called Stereociti, a very gifted musician who devoted his heart to the music we love since 1994. His music is self-evidently high quality deep house with a touch of detroit's spirit! The first two tracks of Sterociti proving his sense for club rocking and touching emotional moments in music!

Biosphere is the main recording name of Geir Jenssen (born 30 May 1962),(1) a Norwegian musician who has released a notable catalogue of ambient electronic music. He is well known for his works on ambient techno and arctic themed pieces, his use of music loops, and peculiar samples from sci-fi sources. His 1997 album Substrata was voted by the users of the Hyperreal website in 2001 as the best all-time classic ambient album.

Patashnik was originally released by R&S Records/Apollo in 1994. It was number 1 in NME´s Independent Chart in March 1994 and reached number 50 in the UK official album chart.

The track Novelty Waves was used in Michel Gondry's Levi's 501 Jeans "Drugstore" spot, and holds - according to the Guinness World Records 2004, the record for "Most awards won by a TV commercial".

One reason why Jenssen's work stands out from the flood of early '90s ambient/techno releases is his strong sense of the quirkily creepy -- not in an Aphex Twin mode, but in his own particular way. The contrasting samples of a child quaveringly saying, "We had a dream last night," followed by a rougher sample saying, "We had the same dream," gives opening number "Phantasm" an unsettling feeling. Intensified by the, on the one hand, pretty, on the other, disturbing music, buried synth strings and a soft pulse accentuated by clattering noises deep in the mix, it kicks off the striking Patashnik very well. Though not as openly dark as acts like Lull, for instance, Biosphere still has an edge which isn't just melancholic, it's downright ominous at point. There's the slow crawl of "Startoucher," for instance, with its buried vocal snippets and deep bass drone, or the blend of the space signal atmospheres of "Mir" into the low, brooding intro to "The Shield." Not everything is so shadowy, though, Patashnik is primarily a relax and chill listening experience, but not without its gentle high points. "Novelty Waves," which became a crossover single in some quarters, has a good dancefloor sharpness to it even as Jenssen slyly sneaks in odd drones and samples through the mix. The opening snippet talking about an extraterrestrial disc jockey on "SETI Project" is good for a smile, as well as acting as a sharp lead-in to a fast rhythm track. Mostly, though, things continue on a deliciously unnerving pace throughout, gentle enough to go down easy but still just off enough to ensure you can't call this new age folderol for the rave generation.

Per Martinsen aka Mental Overdrive and Plugged", two elementary techno Classics from Norway. Per Martinsen was born in the Arctic town of Tromsø in Northern Norway in 1966, and spent his teens listening to imported records and tapes filled with electronic (and some non-electronic) music stemming mainly from the UK and Germany. He first entered the world of music-making by playing drums in local post-punk outfits, but moved on to electronic instruments when he bought his own Roland TR-808 drum machine in 1983. Setting out on a mission to connect to the sources of his inspiration, he ended up in London in 1987, where he spent his days squatting in Hackney and working as an assistant programmer in This Heat's seminal Cold Storage studio in Brixton. Hit by the wave of Chicago house and Detroit techno invading London at the time, he soon found himself experimenting with making beats inspired by these new sounds merged with the 80's sounds he was accustomed to from his pre-London era, like industrial music and EBM. A cassette tape with some of these beats was given to a close friend, who at the time was signed to Belgium's Crammed Discs, and this earned him an invitation to fly over for a series of studio sessions in Brussels courtesy of the label. The sessions led to several 12 singles being released by Crammed in 1988. Most notable of these was his collaboration with Minimal Compact's Samy Birnbach (aka DJ Morpheus), with the release of the single Hallucination Generation' under the moniker The Gruesome Twosome' in 1989. The single was licensed by Crammed to Nettwerk Records in the US

- Reissue of classic 'Trackman' EP buy Mark Archer of Altern 8 - remastered from the original 1995 tapes.

Mark Archer is a long standing British electronic music veteran, with several heavily influential aliases and collaborations under his belt, the best known of which being the seminal UK hardcore act Altern 8 alongside Chris Peat. The pair also recorded as Nexus 21 on the classic Network records label. The subtle and unique blend of Detroit Techno, Acid House and UK Hardcore that Nexus 21 became known for, can also be heard in Archer's solo outings as Trackman:

''In 1995 I was asked by my good friend Neil Macey, who was incidentally one of my greatest influences DJ-wise alongside Astrix & Space, if I could do a few tracks for the first release on his new label - Ideal Trax. I asked him what kind of music the label was putting out as I'd been pretty much deep into the hardcore thing, and then working on more housey tracks as Slo Moshun, so when he said he was after something with techno, Chicago house and Acid all mixed up, Trackman was born.''

The first Trackman EP went out on Ideal Trax in 1995, a six track, two vinyl EP spanning trippy, classic Acid cuts, Detroit and Chicago influences, Sheffield Bleep and Manchester Hacienda rave era overtones. 'Trackman' has now been lovingly remastered and re-issued on Infrastructure, with a bonus track 'Paradise' included, which featured later on the 1996 'Don't Stop' EP - also a classic in it's own right.

Compiles all material from recent years. From the 10" releases that introduced the concept (2012-2013), the track that appeared on Minimalsoul's 2012 "22,300 Miles Above Neo-Detroit" split 12", + latest website-only 7" from 2016, all the voyages are here.

While dj-ing at a party in Slovenia Glenn Wilson met up with producer Mike Humphries and realised they had similar music & production tastes & set up Punish Records Which they use to release most of there own productions. The raw edgy techno it was releasing soon got noticed by the likes of dj rush and Dave Clarke just to mention a few, and with the classic punish 4 release 'Aural exciter' the label truly got accepted as one of the great uk techno labels.

One of the genre defining techno classics is back with new fresh remixes. Originally released in 1996 on the legendary dutch label Touché it became a worldwide reference production and huge clubhit.
We are very proud about the chance to work with this track and fantastic remixers Ray Okpara & Mobius Sturm, Dimitri Andreas and Jamez as one half of the original project with his mate Plectric.

One of the most underground Dub techno producers around. He started producing around 1997 and he released a number of EP's on legendary labels such as Thule Records and sublabels, Mosaic and two full length albums and two ep's on Force Inc. Arnvidur can create refined stripped down Dub techno. Every so called "underground" DJ must have at least one Exos record.

Argentina's DJs Pareja double-team on Turbo, collaborating with newcomer Tom Tom Clubber and Turbo's own Von Party on a set of stripped-down ravey weapons.

Core members of the amazing Cómeme crew, the Buenos Aires based duo have been integral in defining the new-school of Latin techno, a potent blend of punchy, syncopated rhythms, loopy synth-lines and raw vocal hooks that has rightfully developed a cult following as one of the most exciting new sub-genres in electronic music.

A-side Vamos Viendo is the centrepiece, and it's a monster. Previously highlighted on Tiga's 'Dance Action' mix CD, the track builds on a simple, catchy bassline, with pitched snares and melodic synth stabs. It's a peak-time party bomb, and a promising debut for the also-Argentine Tom Tom Clubber. Next up is their title-track Multimedia, which features a wild, trippy arpeggio that waves it's way across the dancefloor with devastating power, inducing full-scale trance. On the flip, Von Party joins the proceedings for the super-wonky Serpiientes Y Escaleras (snakes & ladders), a hissing, winding, sub-filled filter-freak out. Alarma seals the 12" with more rolling snares, arpy synths and a swelling, ominous alarm sound. Finally, in digital-only flavour is Dock Sud which turns the sirens up to 11, quickening the pace and driving crowds into a frenzy.

Tresor Records have decided that its high time to give these seminal albums another airing and will present each in a staggered series of 2LP represses throughout the year, while releasing a special 3CD box on June 8th.

The original Remake 12's that accompanied each album, will also receive a similar treatment. These records include alternate versions by Surgeon, as well as contributions by Mick Harris.

All works have been re-mastered and cut by Matt Colton at Alchemy

Falling Up in its original Theo Parrish version and the Carl Craig version on the same disc. Nothing more to say. Except that the Carl Craig version finally gets its proper title (also newly remastered versions of both classics, by Stefan Betke). It was never a remix as all the parts are original, created by Carl Craig. As Scott Grooves said when he first heard Norm Talley playing it; "That aint a remix, that's a full-blown Carl Craig track".

Irishman John Daly takes a rare break from his One Track label and delivers his magic to the Tanstaafl Planets imprint. Floating house and spacey techno on the b-side that seamlessly merge Daly and TANSTAAFL's aesthetics, while the A-side delivers a pulse-raising new fusion of jacking swing and dubby synths. One of Techno's most famous and greatest tracks is back with a vengeance !
Christopher Just was and is a man of many faces, writer (Brennstoff, Porno), very successful remixer (Divine, Drax, Pulp, Chicks On Speed,...), member of the infamous Ilsa Gold project (with a great performance this year at the Mayday !), has released uncounted records on Cheap, Giant Wheel, Force Inc. and is now working for theatre and as producer and musician.
His track Disco Dancer was originally released as a one-sided 12inch on Hell's Gigolo Records and was a huge success with a license to the XL label in the UK and remixes by none smaller than Fat Boy Slim, Dave Clarke, Hell aso. ! Many new remixes followed, but somehow all of them forgot to include the great original !
Now it's back in it original form with a fine remaster by TPH and two great new contemporary remixes by our AFU guys Harry Axt and Felix Bernhardt !
This all is packed onto a nice limited picture disc Vinyl and already on the decks of a few collaborateurs !

*Hot on the heels of DJ Deep's inaugural Kern mix for Tresor comes 'Kern Vol.2', selected and mixed by Gigolos boss DJ Hell. Hell has a track record of releasing benchmark mixes, most notably the wildly eclectic mix for Belgian club FUSE in 2000, and 1995's 'X-Mix 5: Wildstyle', whose concept he feels is 'not far away from Kern Vol.2'.
*For 'Kern Vol.2', the Munich / Berlin machine dug deep into his vast collection to unite early House and Techno with the new wave. To start the process, he searched in the most obvious place: his basement.
*The second 12' - The Rarities - is a precious collection of forgotten early '90s grooves. On the A-side, none other than Mr. Daniel Bell contributes to this special Kern Vol.2 with a track that has never seen the light of day since its year of production, 1992 - the 'Chicago Style' version of his legendary 'Blip' title. A collector's piece.
*The B-side starts with NYC '90s xtures Lenny Dee and Ralphie Dee's (aka Major Problems) Overdose, a 1990 relentless number originally released on Nu Groove. Back to '92 with Sub-Culture's 'Dreams' released on Hayden Brown's own imprint Strobe. All mixes on the original and rare 12' are simply excellent, and DJ Hell chooses here the forgotten Tribal Life Mix.

Franziskus Sell and Jakob Hildenbrand did allways stand out with their highly energetic tracks, strongly orientated on the club without loosing musical integrity, funkyness and the joy of playing around. Their releases - Like a techmachine' or the extrem successfull EP - Bronson Road 69' used to be little milestones in floorfriendly minimal Techno and Highgrade's label history.From the dark bouncing - Edding 850' to trips into more acid-like areas with - Boot cut' or the easy rollin' stuff - Like a techmachine' towards a point when vocals come into play, Format:B go one step further. As with - Si pero no' which has the clear potential to hit the scene like - hay consuelo' did. In cooperation with Jake the Rapper in - Something suitable' - where they combine their trademark sub-basslines with hypnotic sounds and deliver in combination with Jake's vocals, the perfect instant-clubbanger.All in all, it's a wild ride on the zeitgeist of clubsound, powerfull tracks which seem to never loose their breath. An extensive Autumn clubtour will drop the whole Tour do Funk Life, Catch them if you can!

The 10. Gold release will be on black gold only and finally putting 2 future classics out on vinyl. Rodriguez Jr.'s amazing alternative remix for Pedro Mercado & Karada's 'behind the sun' was hammered on ibiza during the whole summer and looks like unbreakable. Pizeta's sure floorfiller 'Klezmer' definitely puts a smile on everybody's faces and you can hear the whole sing along with it immediately.
