Erol Alkan & Boys Noize - Roland Rat/Brain Storm After their gobal impact releases Waves/Death Suite (Boysnoize Records 2009) and Avalanche/Lemonade (Phantasy Sound 2010) Erol Alkan & Boys Noize teaming up again, using their sound forces to produce two new tracks 'Roland Rat' and 'Brain Storm'

After the well-received and career-spanning compilation that was 2011's Ambient Selections, John Beltran returns with a brand new album entitled Amazing Things, due for released on Delsin records in March 2013.
As a life long pioneer of ambient soundscapes, blissful downbeat and stirring techno, Michigan born John Beltran already has his place in history assured with a bulging back catalogue that takes in influential releases on vital labels like Peacefrog and R&S. This new 17-track album sees the man draw on his lifetime in music to craft an immediately timeless body of work that's stuffed with genuine musicality, pregnant with emotion and laden with organic blissfulness.

Since Beltran's last original full length, he admits a lot has changed. "I'm using all new gear and virtual synths that I didn't have when writing Human Engine so it sounds different for sure. And let's just say that this album still wouldn't be finished had a friend not turned me on to the software Omnisphere."

Despite new tools and techniques, Beltran's touch still shines through in his floating arrangements, opposing textures and organic resonance, as do the continued influences of favourite artists including Four Tet, Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood.

"There was no real plan (for the album). Some of these songs ("Clouds Pull") are over two years old. This album is truly an accumulation of music inspired by my life as a new father but I didn't write these songs for an album per say. I guess it was just written with a lot of love."

Love - and feelings thereof - permeate the album from start to finish. Tracks like opener "Retrouvailles" immediately submerge you into a utopian world with the distant sound of a playground coming over like the backdrop to a daydream, whilst more kinetic, splintered efforts like "Het Leven is Mooi" recall the aforementioned patchwork beauty of Four Tet, and "Flower Power Submarine" carries you along on a warm summer breeze.

Importantly, dark is contrast with light throughout, so more sombre, melancholic drifts like "For Vangelis" sit next to the more uplifting violins and raindrop melodies of "Broken Machines". Overall a mature and hugely resonant album for grown-ups, Amazing Things is full of just that.

The next release on Candela Rising is a 3 track EP from Irish duo Dara Smith & Ian McDonnell, a.k.a Lakker. All topped off with a remix of the title track by US born and Birmingham based DJ Skirt.

After a string of extremely successful releases on Blueprint, Killekill and an early 2013 release in the shape of a remix for Stroboscopic Artefacts, Lakker are back and showing more range than ever before.

'Coal Bath' is a real Frankenstein's monster of a track, a Techno/Garage hybrid with haunting vocals hiding through the middle and broken beats that hit hard. Skirt's remix takes 'Coal Bath' and lays down some heavy demented bass, chops up the middle and grooves things up. All of which leaves a remix ready for the bunker or warehouse.

On the flip, 'Rsspstp' is a heavy hitter. Distorted bangs set the pace for this one, which evolves into a prime example of the attention to detail Lakker are so famed for. Machine music at its best.

The final track on the EP, 'Brood', is dark and dense, full of cold atmosphere, sub-low beats and distant, distorted drones. Techno for the darkest 'floors...

Following a sell-out 2012 debut release on Rough Trade's Gangsigns label that was compared variously to the output of UR, Swamp81 and Frictional, the mysterious DRMCNT releases his second batch of bass heavy monsters, this time around taking the acid line

Alessandro Parisi recorded this album just with a Roland TR-707 and a Roland JX-3P. The result is impressive. For Lux Rec it was worth the labelÕs first LP. The heritage from his home in the northeast of Italy is clearly present in the music of Parisi. Back in the late seventies and early eighties Pordenone was an industrial city with a vivid underground post punk and wave scene. Cold weather electronics. Fog and darkness surrounds the place to this day and deeply pervades this record: the history of a city called Draconia. Who will do wrong shall not be forgiven. Limited to 250 copies, it comes in a red vinyl double 12-inch outfit.

Split release of the two Dutch labels Shipwrec and Fremdtunes, casting off for uncharted waters, setting sail to proudly introduce a fresh new name to their ever expanding roster. Julian Edwardes is a Dutch artist that bends the limitations of Hip Hop and Bass Music, his first outing on vinyl takes elements of these sounds and twists them into a new form. The title track judders and shakes into life with a controlled tempo adding gravity to the mix. Sombre notes drop to create a melancholic muscular beast. The flip sees E.R.P. aka Gerard Hanson aka Convextion flying in from Texas on remix duty. Hanson weaves his magic, a lush melody of IDM depth descends to elevate this remix into something sublime. Victor Watel a.k.a Panteros666 grew up in the cold and trashy North of France just like his Club Cheval brothers. He started doing music as a teenage drummer, played in various dance-punk outfits in the late 00's and soon developed a personal, enhanced sound environment. He's also been continuously fed by many other kinds of digital commodities : YouTube vids, gifs and jpgs found through extended scrolling sessions on self-generated pics websites. He eventually got rid of his drumset, and started his techno crusade in 2011.

The main intention is basicallyto produce tracks that can both entertain your mind and talk to your body : dancefloor ammunition with a twisted, meta angle, working like comments on what's generally thought about club music. His material sounds physical and nervous, but also offers much to (joyfully) think about. Then followed "Javelin" EP released on Belgian label Forma.T, his contribution to Benelux born warehouse techno.

Also working in the realms of TV communication and advertising by day like some sort of animated gif era Don Draper, Panteros666 has directed all his ".Mov", and offered his extended video imagination to other artists : Para One - You, The Aikiu - Pieces of Gold with its million views... or being a DJ- explorer for Vice Magazine "Guide to Festivals". He teamed up with "The Creators Project" to develop the interactive engineering behind his live show.

His first mini LP "Hyper Reality" + Live show, to be released on Brodinski and Manu Barron label Bromance, unites both Panteros666's obsessions with technologies and music. Using Xbox kinects and digital technologies live to visually enrich his mutant techno and interact with club audiences.

'Shoulda Rolla' is the product of an almighty collaboration between Tectonic head honcho Pinch and Rinse FM's very own tribal roller, Roska. Returning to the studio together as a follow up session to 2010's 'Paranormal Activity' (as featured on TEC048) the pair have come up with something that sounds both familiar and fresh in equal measures - revitalising many ghosts of grime and dubstep past with brain bending atmospherics, precision drum programming and a full enaging tribal momentum. Flip then for the deadly 'Asbestos' which continues in the vibe of Roska's recent Tectonic output; 'Blurry', 'Spearhead' and '480 BC'. Taking on his 140bpm stance, Roska flips the dubstep / half-step script on its head - instead opting for rapid, meticulous drum programming and charging pace. Packed with enough sub bass weight to shake a sound system to pieces and a demented mid range sound that emulates a enraged robotic elephant, 'Asbestos' is one for the deeper heads who like to move their feet.

Following on from his increasingly essential work as Innerspace Halflife, Ike Release steps out on his own for a new three tracker on MOS Deep that finds the Chicago producer in a bullish mood.
Opener 'Cosmic Supreme' is a moody march across the surface of a planet far from here - typically raw, bobbling drums set the tone as a frazzled and drawn out synth line winds right through its core from start to finish. 'Spells' is backlit with an ethereal synthy glow as another thick analogue line takes the main focus of the track, all the while as nebulous percussion floats about like a cloud of dust in the background.

Finally, 'Westview' is a little more propulsive, driven as it is by a lashing, rubberised bassline that sprays about freely, contained only by the itchy and more regimented hi-hats that slice up and down around it. Despite there being a sonic denseness to all three tracks here, a certain emotional gravitas always lurks with in: be it one of introspection or reflection, they are difficult to ignore.

For the Dataphysix fans and trainspotters... here finally on vinyl... one of the tracks that has been played by Heinrich Mueller 2 years ago in a special podcast he did for Resident Advisor. This was one of the unknown tracks... and finally it gets an official release. No further info on the producer, just a well produced one sided 12'' with doodles etched in spiral on the b-side. Its needles to say there is a limited amount of these...

Deep, deep inside the Hard Drive otherwise known as the non-local universe Light Sounds Dark are in 'thinker' mode trying to make sense of it all.

This time around the Intergalactic Communication Network are on hand; made up of people who don't know each other and don't know there in it; a sort of cosmic sloop for liking minds. Comprising this group are men of liberal science Rick Strassman M.D and Slawek Wojtowicz M.D, music makers from beyond the quantum holograph Mutant Beat Dance (E.P. out on L.S.D. in April) and spiritual godfather DJ Beppe Loda from the time when records began.

Dark Matters Too 'Tales of Enlightenment' is a celebration and homage to these individuals and all the people who choose to go against the wheel.. 'Why is it so important for human beings to see apparent order in everything around them' Rudolf Arnheim 1971.

So after all that what we actually have here is another high class offering of rare vinyl and a few cassette gems too good not to get a fair hearing. Dementia Precox kick things off with some serious shamanic tribal rhythms designed to induce a state of mind for a journey through to the underworld. Popsong's Factory ultra-rare Japanese vocoder jam slows the tempo down as do some old friends from 'D.E.T.' the wonderful Onyx 'S.O.S.' with its layered synths and mega fazing.

CHBB who later went on to become Liaisons Dangereuses are here with the classic cassette only 'Go Go Go!' which is well known by fans. Matched by the equally impressive Hypnobeats 'Giving Head to Kilian' a much rarer affair described as 'neo-tribalism', this is early minimal techno made in 1984 and really has to be heard to be believed. Light Sounds Dark continue to put music out refusing to be holed by the pigeons and there is even a possibility of a website this year... A tale of enlightenment indeed!!

BLACKEST015 is the first vinyl pressing of music by Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement. Two long form, minimal synth / dark ambient compositions with field recordings. Sourced from a box of cassettes found at a market in Port Moresby, it was thought to be recorded by a group of Christian missionaries prior to their unexplained disappearance during the 1980s. Originally released on tape (edition of 79) by Hospital Productions in 2012. Remastered for BEB by Matt Colton at Alchemy, London, January 2013. Limited edition of 500.

The logo of London-based electronic label Combat Recordings is a fearsome, ancient demon warrior mask. As metaphors go it tells you everything you need to know about the Combat ethos. Battlefield-disciplined and sombre, a fundamental dark force of nature courses through every release, on a label which defiantly straddles the unstable no-man's land between electro, industrial and bass-driven electronics, and whose releases are championed by the likes of Surgeon, Rob Hall, Mary Anne Hobbs and Rob Booth. The 'Collapsing System' EP is the latest salvo from the uncompromising imprint, with label head Stormfield's original productions. Though the tracks come in several different styles and tempos, the unifying theme for this release is acid, acid and more acid. 'Rebuild' is a 140bpm dark electro beast of broken machine rhythms and huge bassdrums underpinning the dramatic sci fi drones and edgy paranoid strings. Multiple 303 patterns chatter in a 4 way conversation, as the acid structure builds, changes form and builds itself again over a melting 8 minutes. 'Collapsing System' goes in a cinematic direction instead, conjuring imagery of gigantic structures slowly exploding and crumbling undersea, dense reverbs and echoes resounding in three dimensional space. The tracks get the remix treatment from a some new allies to the clan. Current UK electro scene favourite Defekt has won favour with Rob Booth (Electronic Explorations) and Dave Clarke for his warm, analogue electro and turns 'Rebuild' into a minimalist, bass-heavy dance floor track driven by throbbing, pulsing drum machines and technoid bleeps. London-based, Bulgarian-born producer Errorbeauty reworks the tranquility of 'Collapsing System' into relentless apocalyptic acid, brutal electro designed for lights-out basement style carnage, yet infused with playful bleeps of melodic detail between the jagged rhythms. Nonima, one of Scotland's most underrated electronic producers turns in a fierce, technical workout of a track, in the form of a syncopated techno remix reminiscent of some of Surgeon's early dance floor works. This is an EP that wears its rebellious streak on it's sleeve. But don't think this is anti-dance music. Scaring your audience and moving them are not mutually exclusive. This is music for dystopian dance floors. There will be a special Combat acid set on Electronic Explorations in March to promote the release, which in it's vinyl version is limited to just 200 copies worldwide.

3 Track 12 from new but not new artist Anno Stamm. An alias of Berlin producer Lars Stöwe aka Anstam who has been one of our favourite producers around All City towers these last few years. His two LPs on 50 Weapons - Dispel Dances and Stones & Wood - are experimental beat monsters for our ears. Original with a capital O, Anno Stamm is allowing him to fiddle about in the undergrowth even further. Raw and twisted, dark with a dash of colour and heavy with the drums. 3 tracks in all, and those of a certain vintage should be able to spot the sample on lead track "I Still have the Photographs". As always for those to whom such things matters - there's the usual full colour shrink-wrapped artwork with a download code.

Ceephax, the pope of acid music of the 2000s, has grown up between Giorgio Moroder's sound and the library music of the BBC. These multiple influences are transcribed again in this triple album which could be an imaginary OST. He proves with this work of art that he has reached his whole maturity thanks to a great sense of narration and his mastery of analogue machines. Welcome in Cro Magnox Planet!

PYLON releases second single from DOUGLAS McCARTHY'S (from NITZER EBB) latest album, featuring remixes of "BLACK LIGHT ODYSSEY" and "THE HACKER". Colored vinyl limited to 350 copies.

This project started off as a bootleg (under the name Burglar Tom) released by Phil Kieran back in 2007. Back then he was just putting out a tune he really wanted out there, cutting through the red tape. But as occasionally happens this one was too good to have such a limited release. Picked up and played by many top djs, it eventually found it's way to the ears of Bush Tetras' vocalist Cynthia Sley, via the good people at Optimo in Glasgow. She loved it. They put her in touch with Phil, and the result is this official release.
There are four tracks here, all instant dancefloor favourites. From Phil we get that original bootleg track, the appropriately names PK east village mix, with its nod to the New York scene Bush Tetras were so influential in, this is the track that will find favour on the playlist of the discerning indie disco as well as the techno scene. There's a a new PK techno mix, and new mixes by two of the biggest names in techno: DJ Hell and Dave Clarke (here with Mr Jones under their 'Unsubscribe' alias). With the PK techno mix Phil takes the tune into familiar territory with the driving percussive techno he's so rightly lauded for.
DJ Hell, well versed in post punk having worked with the legendary electro pioneers Suicide, gives us a darker spacious electro rebuild of Phil's original track, complete with analogue sounds and some neat twists and drops along the way. The Unsubscribe mix fits it out for the big room, with the new synth riff and repetitive use of Cynthia's 'ding a ling' vocal taking us into 21st century rave territory.

Sweden's Bleak is fast becoming an essential part of his country's techno new school. Through releases on Deeply Rooted House, Sudden Drop and Traut he has emerged as a producer of funky, loopy techno a la countrymen Skudge. Here he debuts on Delsin with a fierce two tracker, Origins of Chaos. The first track 'Sixteen Crude' is a cantering techno cut with searing, warbling synths racing along above lazier, underlapping kicks. It's a nice contrast that gives the acidic track plenty of depth, before the flipside, 'Subject Target' deals in more convoluted, whip-snap lines that thrash about like cables in a storm. Industrial yet human, it's timeless techno that wraps you up in its midst and never lets you go.

Highly destructive four track EP from the irrepressible, Container (Spectrum Spools), on Morphine Records. Totally deadly, stripped back and direct. Following 12"s from Shake Shakir, Hieroglyphic Being, Madteo & Metasplice, this one is also going to blow-up heads...VERY LOUD TIP!

Frigio happily announces a new release by San Francisco based artist Exillon who is well known for his amazing works for Detroit Underground among other labels.

In 'Mind Techno Control EP', Exillon (aka Jay Fields) drops us 3 energetic and overwhelming tracks. On side A we have an incredible 10 minute long acid techno killer that for sure will burn dancefloors. You can hear all the analogue gear frequencies bouncing in your bones.

On B side, the 2 tracks keep the same forcefulness and get closer to an IDM drum structure that maintain the groove but out of the straight 4x4 beat. By using deeper melodies and mixing different styles, the result is very rich in textures and makes the sound exotic.

We had an inkling that it wouldn't be long before Marquis Hawkes reared his mysterious ass again. Even after the success of his last drop for DABJ we're no closer to finding out the real identity of this cheeky funkmonger. He's probably holed up in his caravan right now, taking massive bong hits, fingering his 808 and having a good old laugh at us all. And if he isn't doing that then he's most certainly at the club, double-fisted with two fine single malts and draped in wimmin, while the DJ drops his shit. "Higher Forces at Work" is a solid entry in what is rapidly becoming a signature sound: raw ghetto elements mixed with deep and melodic arrangements. The rolling funk of "Automatic" is the most minimal Hawkes production yet but we're not talking no Teutonic functionalism here, just a stripped-back deep-bass bliss teetering on the brink of a disco meltdown that never quite happens. Title track "Higher Forces" and "Divine Intervention" are the best examples of Hawkes Ghetto inclinations here. Both have that ripping, flanged percussion that cuts dancefloors to ribbons, with "Divine Intervention" acting as a sort of acid-driven counterpart to the electronic soul of "Higher Forces". "I Want You" is almost this E.P's answer to the righteous thunder of "Sealion Woman" from the last cut. Although, the tracky punishment of the latter isn't quite present on here, Mr. Hawkes certainly knows how to wield an old-time sample in a deft fashion and the surging bass and jungle percussion of this track will take the heads to elevated levels. To cut a long story short: Marquis Hawkes delivers another hit of real, rockin' raw shit mainlined straight to tha jugular and every ounce of hype he's been graced with recently is utterly deserved.

Alex Cortex - Quality selection of varied tracks. But "i want you" is by far the winner here. It's classic and modern at the same time. its sound is quite upfront, but not as over compressed as the other tracks. Vocals like from Andrés, but cut-up like it was Soundhack, a soulful feel like some Moodymann track, but with fierce Vogel-style basslines. all those name dropping doesn't do it justice either. Pretty much its own thing, and getting better with every listen!

*Ellen O'Maley, originally from Newcastle, born to Irish parents, moved to Canada in her late teens to study music at UBC in Vancouver. While attending the University she met Bernard Davies and Victor Beaudet, co-producers of the late 90's cult project 'Photodementia', who's most renowned 3rd release was re-issued with warm reception in 2011, as the debut release of a label archiving the project.
*Ellen joined Photodementia as an occasional conspirator, who interviews of the time quote as being 'inspired by late 70's/early 80's New York New Wave, Krautrock & the UK electronic scene, Cabaret Voltaire, Human League etc'.
*Figure 4 is most of an unreleased LP Ellen and Victor recorded shortly after the Beaudet/Davies original Photodementia sessions, in Washington DC. The 7 tracks run in at just under half an hour, ranging from roughly 120-140 BPM. The band's influences are clear from the music, as is their virtual Venn diagram involving piers such as Dopplereffekt, Underground Resistance, Hashim, Plaid, Beltram etc. The music has an original and unique quality all the same, from sinister dance groovers to light soothing tunes, the production shines through, not showing it's age at all yet. Music from the past that remains Futuristic, it belongs in your record collection.

Exercise One's newest EP is the result of happy jam sessions in the studio with a couple of their dear Canadian buddies. Exercise One have been concentrating on their new all hardware, no computer live show over the past half year - with performances at Panorama Bar, Cabaret and Le Showcase - and releases on Cocoon and their own Exone label. Mathew Jonson is responsible for some of the best techno records of the early 21st century, on his own, with his brother Nathan as Midnight Operator and with his constant conspirators The Mole, Tyger Dulha and Danuel Tate as Cobblestone Jazz, as well as running the Wagon Repair label. Leonard Flohen is fond of BBQ, moose and music - in no particular order. He's a distant cousin of that old rogue Hugh Betcha and if you ever were to meet them you'd see that they share a certain twinkle in their eye. In 'Lost forever in a happy crowd' Exercise One team up with Mathew Jonson, for a release that illuminates the key elements of both the producers sound. Both artists are at home pressing record at the start of a long relaxed daytime jam, then editing and tweaking the live take for a final flowing mix. It's deep, it's melodic, it's a little twisted in parts and it makes us want to wiggle it - just like the guys themselves. 'Blind Trapeze' is a classic Exercise One techno journey with a boisterous rocky bassline and an extra shake of darkness with Leonard's vocals looming over the mix. And there's a dub bonus, as a bonus.

This first series is dedicated to creatures that are disappearing from this planet because of human colonization of their territory.
This time, Juanpablo drops us 3 tracks with a strong identity and lots of energy that combine similar elements of heavy atmospheres and deep melodies using structures from different electronic styles but with a final result that could be difficult to describe.
The drawing on the cover was made specifically for this record by Colombian artist Felipe Rincón who created an animal that combines the Anaconda, Harpy Eagle and Jaguar.

Germany's #1 electro project The Exaltics (Bunker / Creme / Solar One) joins TRUST for a special EP: 'Muted World' shows the project at its most original, pairing subaquatic electro and electronica with acid touches and epic synths. Bristol hotshot Kamikaze Space Programme (DecaRhythm) supplies a sharp and hard hitting, AFX-inspired rework.

Since he released with 'OR' one of the best albums of 2011, Kangding Ray was on our list for a future cooperation. We just needed to wait for the right track for him to remix. That came in the form of Albert Van Abbe's demo for Curle. On his own label No Comment he had previously also worked with Conforce and Convextion - next to Gerald Donald (!), Sleeparchive and Abdulla Rashim. This is however Albert's first release outside of No Comment. The Sugar Lobby Series counts three numbered tracks. 9191 is definitely peaktime stuff, 9090 is deeper but Kangding Ray turns that one into a dark monster too. 9390 concludes the EP with atmospheric offbeats, to cool you down again.

The sounds are created by Cygnus, aka Phillip Washington, an electronic musician from Dallas, Texas. Working with synthesisers and drum machines, Phillip engineers sensations that are felt deep within the mind. His influences are respected and embraced, but they never hold him back: from Sun Ra to Autechre, Mortal + Chemist, Giorgio Tsoukalos, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and to the smile within the sneer of Grace Jones.

Mitchell Heisman marks the beginning of a new chapter in the precocious duo's development, and heralds Dalhous's debut album on Blackest Ever Black in 2013.

It´s been some time since label boss Gregor Tresher featured on Break New Soil. His and Karotte's 2011 smash, "Sol", was his last release, a track preceded by his excellent album "Lights From The Inside". Since then, Gregor has concentrated on the A&R'ing of the label whilst creating and releasing club hits with the likes of Ovum, Music Man and Drumcode. Today he returns home, riding the wave of support for his current Cocoon hit "About A Good Place" and enjoying his seemingly endless run of good form to present: "Warpaint."

No camouflage here. "Warpaint" sees Gregor continue his run of bold arena rocking Techno releases. "I realised that its been well over a year since my last full release on the label and having really enjoyed moving back toward a tougher Techno sound with my Cocoon and Drumcode singles, I wanted to carry that sound into my latest for Break New Soil."

The original burns from the opening thump of the kick-drum. The ever-increasing intensity is fuelled by piercing single note synth riffs, shimmering hi-hats, Gong crashes and lazer shots. An epic concoction. "I've been working on 'Warpaint' for quite some time, playing and refining it over the last few months" says Gregor. "It's been one of the peak time records in my sets and does quite some damage everywhere I play it, hence the name."

On the remix is an artist that has impressed Gregor with his recent releases, Kernel Key. "I've been a fan of all his music over the past months and on his 'Warpaint' remix he adds his signature groove, which gives it a great twist!"

For their latest release, Deadplate invite Bristol's Hodge to craft an EP of analogue soaked Techno.

Throughout this release, Hodge crafts a unique sound that resonates somewhere between the sparse, delay soaked realms of primitive Dubstep, and the driving vigour of modern Techno. Inspired by the use of field recordings and vintage analogue gear, the 'Dusted' EP has a raw and insightful charm that will lure a wide scope of electronica enthusiasts.

Sealed with a characteristically hypnotic remix of 'Turmoil' by close friend Kowton, the 'Dusted' EP marks the full arrival of one of the most forward-thinking young producers, harvesting the rich breeding ground and heritage of Bristol.

Techno King, Phil Kieran, is back once again this time he is concentrating on his debut Vinyl release on Phil Kieran Recording, with his vinyl re-release of his skyhook project.

His high productivity led him to look forward to the project he has been wanting to put to bed for a number of years - Skyhook. Skyhook gained support form the Techno Elite with Sven Vath & Richie Hawtin using it as a weapon of choice for a number of years other less likely supporters included Deadmau5 who has been using skyhook in his sets for years.

Originally no remixes of the chart smasher were made despite huge interest and requests from various people to rework the track, with the lack of a label to distribute them being cited as the main reason.

But finally, this demon was put to bed and the gauntlet was picked up by Jesper Dalhback & Adam Beyer, Ricardo Tobar, Scuba & SCB and Green Velvet.

Kieran says 'When you approach something like this you ask people to get involved and hope they do too, with this one I was amazed that everyone I wanted signed up, which made this very easy'.

These monster remixes of Skyhook rocket propelled the launch of Phil Kieran Recordings and also finally fulfilled the appetite of those who had been demanding its re-release for over three years.

For most labels catalogue number 10 is an occasion to make something special. And so it is for KILLEKILL. We have collected tracks from our regular label artists plus some guests who frequently play at our parties and therefore we consider being part of the KILLEKILL family. Besides resulting in an astonishing compilation, working on this project has been a great experience for us. All the great artists we work with and all the great music they gave us, made us realize that KILLEKILL has be- come what we always wanted it to be: a contact point for daring artists, a platform for good music of whatever style.
