Label boss Nic Fanciulli makes his first appearance on the label for 2012 and presents a strong package which consists of 2 of his biggest remixes in recent years. First up on the A side is his take on Radio Slave's classic, "Grindhouse". The mix has been highlight of Nic's sets for the past 6 months and is a sure thing to be rocking many parties in the summer months to come. Up on the B side is his remix of Loco Dice's "Definition" which also gets a release after a long and successful spell on the underground.

Born out of a shared vision of musical inspiration, the duo of D-Nox & Beckers has, over the last 4 years, firmly entrenched itself into the landscape of the worldwide electronic community. Working as a perfect fusion of studio expertise and an impeccable dancefloor touch, this creative combination of Christian "D-Nox" Wedekind and Frank Beckers has become a an unfailing source of massive grooves which have successfully infected (infiltrated) all corners of the globe. With more than a quarter century of combined DJing and producing experience between them, D-Nox & Beckers effectively merge a seasoned musical grounding with a dynamic creative spark that never fails in its ability to adapt to the ever-changing vista of electronic dance music.

Prior to the beginning of their collaborative work, both D-Nox and Frank Beckers were each well established in the electronic music scene, with a multitude of success both as DJs and in the studio. D-Nox began his career in Germany's vibrant techno scene in the early-90s, and quickly became a fixture in clubs across the country. An aptitude for enveloping and captivating dancefloors with his incomparable style saw his booking diary expand to a global scale, while his increasingly frequent forays into the studio brought a number of releases as well as the birth of his own successful imprint, Sprout Music. With training as a musician from childhood, Frank Beckers compositional gift has always been evident. A string of full-length album and single releases under a variety of guises developed a sound steeped in detailed rhythms and savvy harmonies, as well as keeping Frank's services as an actively-touring DJ in high demand.

In the time since their debut release saw the light of day in late-2004, the emergence of D-Nox & Beckers has been nothing short of astounding. Their numerous releases on a variety of top labels along with constant remix requests for artists such as Minilogue, Lützenkirchen, Nick Muir, Tocadisco and many others have become ubiquitous on worldwide dancefloors, with their works appearing in the cases and playlists of countless top DJs. Their 2007 album Left Behind on Electribe was met with acclaim and led to a heavy worldwide touring schedule with constant appearances in thriving musical centers in Brazil, Japan, Mexico, Australia and across the globe. The first half of 2008 has only seen this duo gaining further momentum with the release the highly-received mixed CD City Lights, recognition as one of the top artists in Beatport's Music Awards, a first appearance for D-Nox in DJMag's top 250 DJs and being signed to Marc Romboy's legendary Systematic Recordings for a new single.

Rather than following the current trends, D-Nox & Beckers have placed themselves squarely at the forefront of the evolution of electronic dance music. Slickly drawing from the best elements of a variety of musical genres, this duo is undoubtedly one of the most exciting acts to emerge in recent years. Whether as a DJ mesmerized by their latest release or a dancer caught in the wake of their music pulsating through the speakers, the future will see countless listeners continue thrilled and spellbound by their works.

For its 5th compilation, Amazing Records releases four of its most outrageously powerful tracks that have been played and charted by some of today's techno royalty. Johnny Kaos & Mattew Jay's "Crawler", along with Luca Morris and Marka T's "Coming Front", has been a fixture on Richie Hawtin's live selection over the last months, and rightly so: both tracks boast mammoth bass lines and infectious rhythms, coupled with groovy vocal snippets. Johnny Kaos also teams up with label owners and Italy's finest, MiniCoolBoyz, to deliver "In The Dark Room", another incendiary dance floor stomper, heavy on fat low frequencies and eerie vibes. Sam Paganini, one of the key producers in the field with recent eps on Plus8 and Drumcode, tops off the release with "Vertigo", a super catchy and upbeat number that has proven to cause total craziness in clubs all over the world. Loud listening is advised, and get ready for some action here.

Having been a fan of Reelow for, well, as long as we care to remember, we are really proud to present you his new outstanding EP on Cellaa Music. Now residing on Ibiza, Reelow has enjoyed yet another successful year. With the talent taking a back seat, its the music hogging the spotlight and rightly so. Two new Tracks and two massive Remixes that look to the past whilst sitting firmly in the present.

- Leave Me Alone' riding on massive percussion and a tough house beat, with this tough Drums and drunken, wubby Sounds it is running right through its core. Plenty of sonic details flesh out the languorous but slightly groove and you'd imagine this Track is to be the sort of many Artits will love.

- Your Crowd' is again about little tiny details and how they evolve with time. This one take you on a voyage of natural rhythms and big Drums. Developing from harmonic FX Sounds and a infectious groove, the track is full of surprises as it twists and turns into different sounds that come and go to take it further than the dancefloor.

The first of the remixes comes from the in form, Massimo Cassini. He team up with a hypnotic rework of - Leave Me Alone' that demonstrates just why he is one to keep a close eye on as he gears up on the production front. Massimo is delivering a muscular house bomb, carefully placed FXs and a nice and catchy line to make this a dancefloor mover.

Next we have Cellaa Music Co Founder Martin Heyder providing a soulful tech house surrogate to the original of - Your Crowd'. His remix has a deeper houseier twist with a smooth 303 pad sound and a concrete percussive arrangement to convey a fantastic production.

Back in April, Slovenia's Valentino Kanzyani dropped the first half of a two part underground house EP on Cadenza, titled 'Love & Gratitude EP1. It was his debut release on Luciano's label, and was dark and funky for the most part, with the majority of the four tracks' energy coming from percussion and raw beats (Kanzyani is currently working on an album for Cadenza, which will contain mainly new and unreleased tracks). 'Love & Gratitude EP2 is more heady and hypnotic. Throbbing beats and relentless kick drums drive the rhythms forward, whilst swirling synthesizers and experimental techno soundscapes diffuse the grooves, creating contrast and tonal changes. If anything, the gentle melodies and subtle musicality of Kanzyani's three new original tracks here (the fourth track is a dub edit of the last EP's El Circulo De La Vida cut) create a kind of dancefloor psycheism, where the mind moves in a different spatial plane to the feet, encouraging you to drift off into alternate dimensions. The first track 'Mirvan' is the heaviest cut on the EP, and has a tension and vibe similar to the raw rhythms that Berghain residents Ben Klock or Marcel Dettmann might play at the Berlin techno temple. When some pads fade in around the 2:30 mark, you can sense Kanzyani's desires to coerce you into a dreamlike state. The sounds are infinite and all pervasive, like outer space, forever expanding beyond the reaches of any known logic or meaning. The beats are drowned out at points by the ever-growing black hole of sound, however the drumming is reliable and constant, like an engine that never stutters. The second track 'Chanta Lopez' is more housey, with a tangible bassline and more swing in the groove. Loose claps on alternating delay patterns keep the tension high in the first part of the track, before a metallic, machine-like synth cranks into gear. Unlike 'Mirvan', the synth has a recognizable melody and moves with purpose. At times, the synth combinations almost turn into an aco

The first release is always a big milestone for any label. In our case the first one (Astrac EP) is also a long anticipated one, the title track waiting to be released for a long time. So far there is nothing ordinary about Ztrl's career as he had a big fan base without a single release or a DJ gig. As a result of his ongoing inspiration by Ricardo Villalobos and encouragement from a:rpia:r's Petre Inspirescu among others he sharpened his producer skills which yielded Astrac EP, another 2013 release on Pluie/Noir Recordings' compilation ('Pluie/Noir Year One') and an independent release on Soul.On Records titled 'Soul Two' which was also remixed by the Hungarian Laurine Frost. On top of his producer activity he's an avid record collector and a regular guest on UK's Rejam Radio Show, he's also done a podcast mix for the Romanian Nightclubber webzine's Unknown 500 series.

Psyché Tropes is a new label from the creator of Hackney Film Festival, dedicated to exploring the synaesthetic intersections between sound and its visual counterpart. From its inception in 2010 Hackney Film Festival set out as a platform for a community of audio-visual artists living and working in the East London borough, inscribed within the grooves of this vinyl convocation is a cherry-picked clutch of them. Now Vol. 1 is born and HFF evolves: a crucible of images that begets sounds - errant motile sounds whose blind wriggle detaches from the AV mother lode in search of a new synthesis. Welcome to the inaugural release by Psychè Tropes, a label dedicated to exploring the synaesthetic intersections between sound and its visual counterpart. You hold in your hands an oil-based spiral groove etched with vibrations called forth by cinematic prerogatives. Secreted within the folds of this record's sleeve you will find a tangible strip of 16mm film with combined optical soundtrack. This film strip is a suggestive random fragment of the visual component made for this release, whose indexical iconography has been shuffled and dealt to you, like some arcane tarot deck

The launch of this Russian imprint in fine style, with two intricate, beautiful, house groovers.
A journey in four variations, Chemin tracks through hills and valleys with striking vision and fullness, propulsive yet restrained. Premature takes a slower, deeper approach, packing its energy into a stomping bassline, whilst subtle melodies and relentless, bubbling sound course through, beaching us in a place both sinister and tranquil.

Germany's Oliver Lieb and USA's Jimmy Van M have come together as The Audible Suspects to launch 'Collaborations', a new creative platform for Bedrock in 2012.

This project is the culmination of a journey over many years, through Jimmy's pursuit of Oliver's music, resulting in their friendship and now this collaboration. Many years ago Jimmy was among the first people to bring Oliver to the USA to play and was the first to arrange a tour for him to perform live and now the time is right for The Audible Suspects to be born.

'After my break from producing, I was slowly getting back to working again and one of the first steps was to care about my online presence, Facebook etc. I added Jimmy, making contact again and soon we talked about working together on some projects. and quickly had the idea of doing a compilation. Like my monthly podcasts, I wanted to gather together new, interesting music from well-known and more underground or undiscovered people and focus on the techy side of things, which actually is my main playground. So, our collaboration is based on grooves and interesting sounds, as well as melodies, that don't just aim for big commercial success but more for some exciting trippy development of audible space.' - Oliver Lieb

Frankfurt based DJ & producer Oliver Lieb has been in the premier league of electronic producers since the late 90's and always keeps surprising and amazing people with his extraordinary sounds and diversity of styles. He views music as an endless horizon of expressing himself and refuses to be pigeonholed in one specific genre, an attitude well suited to the Bedrock ethos. The mighty, soaring, 'Parallax', was a highlight on John Digweed's 'Structures Two' album, and the exceptional 'Epsilon Eridani EP' (Bed99) followed last summer. So it is fitting that both an unreleased Reprise and Italian producer Davide Calli's remix open and set the stage for this collaborative musical adventure.
From the outset the selected music emulates a night out at a club with a top quality underground soundtrack, digging deep and blending subtle sparseness with hypnotic drive, teasing and building anticipation and excitement with ease. Jimmy Van M exhibits his superb remix skills reworking 'Origins' by German techno producer Ray Kajioka, which flows seamlessly into BPitch Control's rising star Thomas Muller's 'One Hit One Night' and on into Get Physical's Pele and Findling. Oliver and Jimmy continue to join the dots between the most exciting, talented, new producers and remixers as they feature the wildly creative Max Cooper, Andreas Mügge, in his D.Diggler guise, Daso Franke and the excitingly experimental Lanny May.

'Flow is very important. I connected with Oliver on this right from the beginning when listening to his LSG 'Vol. 2' and LSG 'Into Deep' albums. Over the years we've become friends and I've always hoped for an opportunity to work together. So, The Audible Suspects project is very exciting for me. When getting the music together for this compilation we quickly realized where it was going and took the direction of strong yet still simple tracks. We focused considerably on the sound quality of each track and the final mix mastering which you can tell by turning it up loud!'

Over the last decade and a half few individuals could claim the type behind-the-scenes influence on American dance culture as Jimmy Van M. His tireless efforts can be credited with having helped advance electronic dance music throughout the North America, opening avenues for artistic expression in dance-clubs that did not previously exist before him and his very unique efforts. When it comes to atmosphere, vibe and drive there are very few DJs that can stand alongside Jimmy Van M.

The mix builds in intensity with San Francisco duo SF/FM blurring the lines between the obscure and the straight forward, with their love of big room psychedelia, slipping effortlessly upwards with Traum's Ryan Davis and Ireland's Phil Kieran (who is later joined by Green Velvet for an encore performance). Sweden's hugely talented techno DJ and producer Joel Mull shows off his star potential, as does the mysterious Digital Mess, before the unique sounds of Munich's Tobias Felbermayr spiral into the mix finale of 'Helios' by Oliver Lieb.

This is a mix that exhibits the best underground dancefloor attitude without sacrificing the electronic weirdness that sometimes gets lost in the pursuit of big-name tunes. There is a sense of musical maturity to the mix without it lacking in energetic charm. It's mix that is born out of desire to discover, excite and educate, and attitude that comes as the result of many years of waiting and searching for, that next inspirational track.
