Techno Vinyl New Releases - News

Franksen goes way back in the history of Frankfurt's electronic scene. Hosting Germany's eldest radio DJ Show, today's YOU FM Clubnight (formerly simply known as CLUBNIGHT), he represents electronic music culture 360° since 15 years. As a dj, producer and music journalist (for BEAT magazine) he boasts versatile skills and follows his unique approach on an endless groove journey.

Franksen appeared on deep and techhouse labels from Suara to Plastic City, WePlayMinimal, InCase Recordings, Salted Music and many more. Since 2009 he has released a string of fine tracks with collabo partners. Since 2012 it is his time to go solo. Franksen released on Amused Records, Kaato Music, Meleon, Diametral and more labels to come in 2013. Right now his next tracks are scheduled for the fresh year: on Circle Music and Mainakustik!

For AUDIOTHENTICA he delivers an EP full of slick grooves, whether in drum-driven techhouse fashion, with a breaky manner or his distinctly deep but driving touch. A fierce techno remix by his buddy Broombeck completes this EP of many true styles!

A1 Old School Shit / Original Mix
This theme tune grooves, rolls and pumps beats, break-laden drums and subs relentlessly. Dark yet sexy, with depth driven by a strong array of bass sounds.
A2 Old School Shit / Broombeck Mix
Techhouse hero Broombeck celebrates Old School Shit in dark n techy peaktime manner, reducing it to a menacing, screaming siren of a track, complete with pitched down vocals.
B1 Behind Me
Franksen's most personal statement on this EP full of variety. Deephouse with a dark edge and an irresistible speech of true wisdom for any music lover or artist!
B2 Keep Pushin' Me
Right from the start this track pushes forward with an infectious, bassy groove, happy but heavy vibes and some old school-ish vox that makes girls and boys step it up in line!

Ostfunk Mastermind Daniel Boon made it! Here is a funky-uplifting-minimal summer hit. Each of the three versions represent a part of the sound spectrum of Berlin´s successful music brand OSTFUNK. The Zoo Brasil Mix is the dancehit of this EP, the original is in the beginning of the track more percussive and later through it spanisch vocal chorus like a real anthem. The Mike Wall remix is deep and trancey - the optimal sound fort he sunrise in mid-summer Berlin

When Morning Glory Seeds appears, it's not as the heart shaped plant that induces all manner of hallucinogenic pleasures, but he will take you on a trip to the deeper side of dance life - so hold on tight!

After their Vakant debut in 2011, exactly one year later the Romanian duo Livio & Roby is back with their latest creation for the label. 'Shinichi', Hatzumoto's little sister for the ones who know, is a proper 2 track EP, both cuts in unmistakeble romanian tech manner, raw, driving and twisted as only inhabitants of the Carpathian Mountains can deliver.

very dark minimal techno influenced techno tools

Gilesku Records is back with two eccentric minimalistic techno tracks delivered by Onur Ozer. Obviously heavily influenced by peak hours in the club, these tracks will serve their purpose right, providing a perfect hook to drive people further in a higher state of consciousness. By paying close attention to detail, he manages to provide music where he bravely paints fat techno sounds with minimalistic elements, layering them by unconventional noises in the background. A 'must-have' peak time material!

nach dem bombenstart der italoboyz gehts nun acidlastig weiter !!!

*** vinyl only release***

The Sad Sunday EP is implementing its theme on all levels, providing a formidable sound for a frolic sound pleasure. Combining attributes like lucidity, lightness and a great passion for details, newcomer Carlo Ruetz convinces with his new Bad Taste EP. It's another amazing minimal-technoid record that joins the marvelous musical work produced by the supdub young stars. Mentor Alfred Heinrichs provided the EP with a remix himself in addition to the original song.

A bad ass behind the decks, and in the studio since 1998...his productions ended up on some bigger techno labels as well as more obscure imprints. Along with Ian Lehman, he forged the well-received 'Attack People' live performance...bringing his show across the US, to South America, and Europe as well. When he's not on tour with his DJ sets or supercharged live pa sessions, he co-promotes some of Minneapolis's biggest techno parties. In addition, he also manages his labels Abiotic Recordings and Enemy Records, which both receive wide support from the techno community.

First vinyl release by new born italian label HYPERGROOVE characterized by deep and dark grooves in a complete V/A made to burn your dancefloor!

After the great success of the first Ep, Dirty Session is back!

Luca Bear chooses to sign the second release of his label.
The key concept of DS is to propose a precise sound, characteristic,
that evokes the early days of electronic music with an eye to the future.
A journey into the unknown from the early 90s.
This release represents it in the best way with 3 raw tracks full of energy.
The power of the siren of "Garage take" mixed with the violence of "Strictly forbidden rework ed" and the touch of class signed by Kasper with his superb remix...three killer tracks ready to destroy the dancefloor!

(Gatefold packaging) ..a record where rhythmic dancefloor tracks fluently take turns with organic sounding jam sessions, warm and jazzy, deep and funky !!

Are you drowning in a sea of organs, flutes, and Spanish chants on top of 90's house loops~ We have the cure for you here at mothership.
