Techno Vinyl New Releases - News

Dana Ruh and Anthea have defied the merciless winter in their studio and the track "Like a River" is the result. Clean beats, bathing synths, vocals with telepathic powers driving onward, onward, onward, unexpectedly changing direction. The river swells till the banks burst, becoming a torrent, relentlessly grooving from the speakers. A Master of Dub, van Bonn, plunges into the depths, breaking his remix down to its bare bones. Voices alternate with filtered chords. Without delay. Without a sledgehammer. Less is more. A Track like a trip! Pure hypnosis! The remix of Nina Soul grasps the groove of the original and expands it, sealing it with wonderful atmosphere. Like waves, the sound whispers in your ear to awake longing!

Tune in: Dana Ruh brings Brouqade back from Summer holidays. An EP completely rounded, mesmerizing from first to last. SULA wakes with vivid snares. Precisely produced, finely tuned arrangements and driven by a straight beat and a pulsating bass line, the track develops with its deep clubsound to a veritable groover. Cautious in the beginning NEBOUXII gains its selfesteem, builds up subtly, pushes and drives forward and spreads its hypnotic appeal. The mood is constantly high and takes its time to fully develop. SULIDAE brings you back from the previous hypnosis and gives you insight in a different world: charming vocals glide on a steady synth line, when all around a poetic magic is revealed and some ingenious elements are pulled out of the hat.

Creaked Records is proud to present Pôle EP - the ambitious, moody, low end laden debut of Swiss native Gaspard de La Montagne. From the beginning to the end it's clear that this three track EP was tastefully put together by a passionate Bass music lover to touch others of a similar inclination. The release seamlessly fuses Minimal artifacts with a Post-Step swing, with layers of organic texture, and a pinch of introspective Soul - and tops it all off with arrangements that thrive on euphoric build ups of Techno at its most effective. Although Pôle EP was undoubtedly made with healthy sound systems and packed dancefloors in mind - as the strong and relentless grooves of both Alpes and Pôle will testify - Drops, which features the sultry voice of Nathan Baumann of the band The Fawn, also leans into what could easily be classified modern Pop, and will definitely make for great late night headphone listening. Pôle EP represents a new breed of electronic music, that which treats its listeners the way holistic doctors treat their patients - by paying attention to and taking care of their whole being: mind, body, and soul.

Innovative Spanish producer Uner is the next to step up on the Visionquest imprint with his 'Universe EP'. This epic three-tracker showcases his unique sound and musical background on a mesmerizing, trippy ride of modern electronica.

A-side 'Sol' (Latin for 'Sun') represents the bright side of the universe. Beautifully epic in length and sound, detailed percussion leads the way as melodic keys creep and swell through the suspense of continuous rolling builds. The melodic flourishes demonstrate Uner's musical passion with perfect rhythm, leaving an all-engulfing big room track filled with techy wonderments.

Over on the flip, B-side 'Luna' (Latin for 'Moon'), steps into an intriguingly dark and weird territory. Eerie synths flow through spacey zaps and intricate layers of sound while a raw pumping bass surges forward. Dark keys emulate Uner's musicality while haunting vocals echo and a dramatic build takes you on a hypnotic wave of melodics, dropping back into the floor rattling bass. A trippy, cinematic affair destined to swarm your mind and senses.

One of the most important names of the new generation of Spanish electronic producers, Uner has been able to release on highly acclaimed labels such as Diynamic, 2020 Vision, Get Physical and Defected, with his music championed by the likes of Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox and Luciano. Since 2011, aside touring the world as a DJ, Uner has been presenting his live gigs with an audio visual concept in which he uses state-of-the-art software and hardware (from iPads to mini midi keyboards) to explore his most solid, personal side. The artistic expansion of the Catalonian producer continues to grow, expressing his way of understanding electronic music from a musical point of view and from the centre of the dancefloor.

After Martinez and it's "Interaction" EP, it's another great honor for JETT to welcome a king size artist on the label.

Andreas Henneberg is the founder of Voltage Musique Records and Cascandy as well as part of 'The Glitz' and 'Hennon'. He is also parts of the famous Plantage 13 family and regulary releases on record labels like IDEAL Audio, Confused Recordings, Herzblut, AREAL, Kiddaz.FM, Material and Toolroom.

Aldo Cadiz is already well known on JETT with his famous EP 'Zaze Tripa' in 2011, he strikes again with his very own groovy and techy style. JETT label owner Fred Siera delivers the second remix in a dark and deep mood.

Unclear 004 scars the up and coming debut of Niro as a producer, by producing an EP designed by a deep and a strong dub and techno tonalities.
Side A is strongly inspired and imprinted from the deep house of Agachoo and from Reshape mix of Fred P that manages to produce his own originality integrated with a strong dub atmosphere.
Side B is a discovery into the techno soul differently from the previous EP described before. Starship Hookers demonstrates an ever more strong reference to deep, that the remix of MRSK manages to strip completely bringing the entire disc into the purest of techno.

Heralding from a rockn'roll and jazz background Vaal is not aware of the strict rules that define & guard electronic music. Therefore Vaal is not afraid to break them.

Sourcing tracks and samples became an obsession: from this was born a compulsion to write, experiment & develop original music that could be equally human, equally electronic.

Vaal exists in the dark of the city: the secretive curtained room that you can never quite peer into, the dark pulsating dancefloors of the underground. Vaal has nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears & sweat.

Vaal is electronic, & Vaal is a Baastard.

incl. Tracks from Labelhead Ron Flatter, Douglas Greed (Freude Am Tanzen), Chris Manura (Distillery Leipzig) and Damon Jee (France)!

Nicolas Duvoisin from Geneva released on several labels like Fantastic Friends Records - Ostwind rec. - Siteholder rec. - Musique Unique rec. - Eminor rec. - Kina Music. Finally he found his way to Relax2000 Records with four great tracks which travel between minimal house and techno, with the groove and the class to move the crowd on the dance floor.
