Techno Vinyl New Releases - News

APPARELL is a project of Nicola Peripoli and Nicola Battistello, two like-minded house and tech-house fans hailing from Vicenza, northern Italy. A residency at the well known Fresh'n Fruit Club and their own Hund one-night helped shaping their taste in upbeat, dancefloor-friendly music, and their productions gained praise from the likes of Marco Carola and Reboot.
On this ep for Aloe Records, they deliver two original tracks, backed by some fresh remixes from Daniel Sanchez & Cardace and Perazzini and by Idriss D. "July In Venice" is percussion-driven, with vocal growls that create a menacing feeling. A heavy bass gives the track a dark and introspective atmosphere. The remix from Daniel Sanchez & Cardace and Perazzini has a happier vibe: the chorus and the effects in the break are uplifting and cheerful, and the original bass is turned into a brighter melody which underpins the nearly 9-minutes of this track. "Under Suspencion" is exquisitely tech-house and groovy, with pads coming up from the background and a flavour of ethnic percussions. Idriss D's remix adds a big synth melody and is built around a bouncy rhythm, rolling along to either get the party started or to keep the dancing going in the late after stages.

The second issue of the 'Hands on Hits' series features recent remix contributions from Berlin-based Klasse Recordings and Dirtybird artist Sacha Robotti, who is also one half of the DJ & producer duo Robosonic (their track 'Worst Love' reached position No 1 of the Resident Advisor top 50 charts for June 2012), Echonomist hailing from Thessaloniki / Greece (also on Back and Forth, Dessous), Alland Byallo (Bad Animal, Poker Flat) who moved from San Francisco to Berlin not long ago, and last not least Snilloc (Monique Music, Variante Music) from Budapest / Hungary. Four surefire dancefloor weapons from some of the hottest international acts around, exclusively gathered on a vinyl record.

After his debut on Affin last year with Busker, Chris Page returns with the Used EP. While the Busker EP played around with dubby chord stabs, Used is an altogether darker beast. The slowly-building, gentle acidic groove of the title track sets the tone of the release. Tatoo follows up proceedings with an overdriven bassline, which simmers away underneath convulsing distorted stabs. Finally, Affin welcomes Mattias Fridell. Here he makes his first appearance for us with his remix of Used. Taking the original and dimming down its lights, to produce a moody, atmospheric slice of rolling techno

As if this wouldn't be enough, Monsieur Cabanne has also put his hands in dirt, bringing us a marvelous remix of the flagship track from this ep - Treat me bad... Oh I guess we should seriously consider to be badly treated by those folks ! Yeah, treat us bad ! You gotta spin this deep impact groovy minimal trick.

Kai & Holger return from their Stateside adventures with Matthew Pervert on Get Physical. 'Matthew Pervert' is a slow buidling groove attack. Saucy percussion sets the mood for a deep pumping bass under chords. A sassy vocal adds to the analogue ambience, worked in a coat of reverb and doused with delay. A sexy sound for steamy nights on the neverending dancefloor sessions Smash TV are known for.

finally repressed!

For Serkal's ninth release, we are proud to present the 'Deep Luv' EP. Bringing together two of the most innovative techno producers in the entire industry, 'Deep Luv' is an eclectic combination of seductive grooves infused with underground vibes that accompany listeners through the darker side of the sound spectrum. Marking his debut appearance on Serkal, legendary DJ/producer Santos has teamed up with label favorite David Gtronic to yield a unique tune that boasts an uncanny mixture of journey-esque breakdowns that flawlessly transcend into intoxicating rhythm-filled drops. Also included on this release are two masterfully crafted remixes compliments of Cadenza's favorite son, Reboot. The first, dubbed 'Reboot's Concrete Jungle Jam', is a much deeper take on the original. Presenting a more subtle bass line throughout, Reboot's tribute to the Concrete Jungle emits a much more laid back atmosphere. Mr.Heinrich's second remix, which he has titled 'Reboot's Picnic Excursion', is a ten minute journey into a new creative domain not commonly heard from the German superstar. Still remaining on the deeper side of things, 'Reboot's Picnic Excursion' is an entrancing trip filled with emotion driven melodies.

monster track with a huge BELTRAM remix. Plays by almost every-(cooool)-body: Marco Bailey, Agoria, Technasia, Tonka, Peter Kruder, Mihalis Safras, Glenn Morrison, Namito,

Very strong debut release from Spanish artist Sic on his own Emisferm imprint sees him deliver 3 highly original tracks of varying intestity. The style is minimal without being boring, epic & beautiful without being cheesy & tuff without being banging.check this record out

Basti Grub is a specialist for extraordinary and outstanding productions. Loving music from his early childhood on. He seems to have a different approach to electronic dance music. these 3 tunes here are combining afro beats with wonderful rhythm driven latino tech house sounds, spanish guitars and smooth but subtle vocals and melodies. its also a bit different from his usual productions concentrating more on rhythm & drums than usually. he left certain elements and hooks out to let the groove develop and this is probably the best thing he could ever do.

VINYL ONLY! very special pressing with real wooden centre label!Paul Brcic, Mr:Rod & Malte Schlorf deliver a mixture of techno, vocals & deephouse - recommended!
