Techno Vinyl New Releases - News

Kumia is the title of the 13th release from International Sound Laboratory and is written and produced by ISL artist Tuomas Salmela aka Phonogenic. "Kumia" connects the sound of his previous release, "Artifacts" with the continuation of the latest developments from our Finnish collaboration laboratory in Tampere, Finland. This time we also sent a sample to specialist researcher Samuli Kemppi, who also is involved with heavy duty works on labels such as Luke Slater's Mote Evolver.

Cellaa Music is very happy to welcome our friend Elchinsoul to the fold. He delivers a diverse offering of candies for the sense - from celestially slow beats to heady grooves, hypnotizing energy and back again.

Two evocative, organic and sensitive tunes and a digital only Bonus Track, set to take you on a voyage of ever imperfect harmonies and natural rhythms.

First up is Pine a streamlined dish in minimalism, Romanian talent Elchinsoul constructs an elegant labyrinth of percussive Beats and a mind blowing Lead Sound, a massive kick drum and fast shuffling hats.

Second is Lateral with a dangerously groovy bassline threatens to consume all with the help of flying hi-hat saucers and a deeply rooted groove. This track is a pure dancefloor rocket.

Backing up the two originals is a third digital exclusive cut "5010B." The fluid motion of the bassline and outstanding Drums make the perfect soundtrack to a exotic trip with Elchinsoul.

A stunning EP from a wonderfully talented and exciting young producer.

rmxs by EINSIEDLER, MICK THAMMER & GERALD PEKLAR the freaksound crew found this buried digital only treasure from the hamburg based minimal lounge guys some time ago and now it's time to release this monster on a 12" with new excursions by einsiedler, mick thammer & gerald peklar.

Hotflush presents the third single from George FitzGerald: 'Shackled'. Having already dropped two excellent EPs for Aus and Man Make Music this year, George returns on Hotflush Two with three tracks embodying the style he has matured over the last two years.Using a sonic palette that melts the emotive flavors of UK garage & soulful house into a slower amalgam of dubstep and techno, this emerging London producer offers his own suave and enticing blend of bass music. 'Shackled' has already made a distinct impression as a standout track on Scuba's DJ Kicks mix compilation released in October.

Excellent hypnotic and energetic Millsian techno cuts by Eshu!

Superb minimal electro acid techno record. Defenitly out of the newskool fields. OS never die.

Donato Dozzy comes back on Prologue with his mate Neel. The new brilliant collaboration between them shows how Techno sounds today. The 4 Drop tracks are deeply emotional designed and each of this Drop have his own unique character from Ambient to Techno !

Kanzler & Wischnewski are known as solid techno producers. With their new release on WAAP this is not so shure anymore.
"Keep on Dancing" is much more of a housetrack than the former releases, nevertheless groovy and something for a saturday nite
dancefloor, including the remixes. Mike Wall`s interpretation is a prime time techno style track, where as Michel Lauriola from
Buenos Aires gives it a souther feel. Last and definitely the least is the Berlin style Klangwelt 3000 Remix which is simply a great tune!

################################################

Alberto Tolo & Matthew Skud: "...in this ep we followed up our sound project that continues to evolve in the European underground trip, to complete this project and we finalized to make it took about a month, we have added almost all the material that we collected along our path. We hope that everything we offer is appreciated by all and we assure you that this will be a sequel. So stay tuned."

Berghain's Marcel Fengler presents the fifth installment in the club's expanding mix series. Marcel Fengler has proved filling floors doesn't have to be about ticking boxes. The versatile mix is a perfect example of the type of dexterity, sensitivity and scope he possesses as a DJ.

Fabrizio Maurizi's new EP "A Pray For You" is nothing short of spectacular: the clean and crisp production that's been a key trademark of the Bologna native, this time goes to yet a higher level, bringing up a whole new concept of sound. The Techno and Funk elements that were always to the fore in his music, this time fuse down to create a seemingly boundary-free flow of inspiration, managing to build a sparkling and flickering stream of beats and melodies. The title track delivers a super catchy synth line, making it impossible not to go crazy to; the soulful vocals and delicate percussions add a slick vibe to its kinky feeling. "La Jolla" heats up the party: the bouncy bass line and drum-machine overdose kick through like a whirlwind of rhythm and energy, while delays and subtle atmospheres round off the total dancefloor mood. "Darkness"' heavier 4/4 drive and old school feeling are a homage to the Detroit legacy and its electro disco flavor is a tribute to the European underground scene of the late 70s and 80s, shaking and rolling the swinging pulse that sways all over the club and the pa. Simply put, these are three tunes that will stand the test of time: play them 10 years from now on, and they'll still roar through the airwaves and cause a frenzy all over the place!!

Drückender Bass, verspielte Melodien, markanter Sound, immer treibend. So kennt man Krischmann & Klingenberg.

the next release on bcbtec is from nobody less than scope (nrk, large records, ...) !!! Both these tracks having been working overtime for Scope in the clubs, getting serious reactions when they're dropped. You need them in your crates !!

France has always held a propensity for the more discerning and sophisticated side of electronic music. The most recent wave of producers to emerge from the country is no different in that regard either, with the likes of Wally Stryk's Hermine Records leading a most exciting charge.

An engineering student by day, Stryk turns into an altogether different beast at night - even more so when he's behind the production desk. Unsurprisingly then, he's already lent his talents to a plethora of well-established labels such as Baroque, Escapism Musique and now for the first time, his own Hermine Records imprint.

The 'Quiberon' EP is one that showcases the producer's love for the more minimal and percussive side of the equation, with every track here boasting its own indisputable dance floor charm. The title track is named in homage to the French seaside town of the same name, and just like the village; it's bursting with its own unique vibrancy. Classy, colourful and cultured...and oh so very French we're sure you'll agree.

The bongo-led strands of 'Carnac' are next up, with this one relying on a host of eclectic samples and clever percussion aplenty. 'Hoedic' is another clever DJ tool that brings matters back to 'fist-pumping' territory, before prolific U.S producer Someone Else (AKA Sean O'Neil) culminates the EP with an atmosphere-laden remix of the latter that's crafted on an even edgier tip.

This time Session Deluxe presents a collaboration of two young and very talented guys: Daniel Pscheid from Munich and the Ukraine based, but now in Tel Aviv lining, Gene. After some releases with other studio partners on labels like Circle Music, HiFreaks, Soap or Rotary Cocktail, Daniel & Gene are presenting now their first release on Session Deluxe. The Dirty Money Ep is a nice Tech House four tracker. The title track Dirty Money is a very rolling and groovy tech house smasher. You is a bit more classical house influenced and based on catchy vocal snippets. Lacusta is almost a minimal techno track. Big bassline and some percussive elements. That is, straight on to the floor music at it s best. Illusions is the deepst track on that Ep. Very emotional with a lot of energy and power. A catchy synthi line goes directly into the feed. So, let s dance and enjoy this big Session Deluxe release.
