Munich Groovebox Florian Senfter gets bubbly as Zombie Nation with this his new Fishtank/ Guzzler EP.
Munich Groovebox Florian Senfter gets bubbly as Zombie Nation with this his new Fishtank/ Guzzler EP on his UKW Records Imprint, following last year´s RGB Album on Turbo Records. A - Fishtank was carefully handcrafted in the analogue laboratories of Zombie Studios. There is a decisive bounce, creating waves around the edges of the Aquarium, while never creating a nasty spill. Some say it has too much bass, but there is no such thing as too much bass. Join the swarm. B - Guzzler is a straight ride on the Akai MPC. It´s nonstop gas guzzling muscle which is inspired by ZN´s love for classic Dance Mania Records. While keeping the pace on the highway to Jack Heaven, there are some surprises along the way, such as a detour into a foggy reverb forest and a brief visit to the valley of singing smurfs.

conceptual minimal techno by Daze Maxim.

Elon's timeless musical style glides between house and techno, from dark and emotive to the more rhythmic and uplifting character of electronic music.

Welcome back to the Cocoon Recordings headquarter. We are proud to present the next chapter of our infamous compilation-series and believe or not: It's 'M' already! Covered in the known and beloved package-design but all in pink this time... dreamy and pretty and that's the way to start the music here, too.

Dutch based sushitech-producer Makam presents a dreamy opening track that is without any doubt the perfect start for this compilation. Warm harmonies and dropping sounds open up the door for track number two by Matt Tolfrey and Inxec: 'Never in doubt' continues where Makam stopped however Tolfreys and Inxecs harmonies and the moody atmosphere meet a solid beat programming and merge down to a pushing piece of music that could have seen the day of light in Detoit, the inofficial techno-capital. Alejandro Mosso joins the club with the third number of our M compilation and he opens up a bag full of positive energy and happiness. With a slight Cadenza-feeling his tune is made for the next beach-party and perfect for all you Âme-fans out there. 'Grinding Love' want you to move, forget and dance till you sweat! Douglas Greed steps back a bit on the energy scale but adds more craziness to the package with his production. 'Dynamite' is a freaky piece of tech-house in a cool Green Velvet style. Sounds, lyrics and the whole programming come pretty close to the lala-land-masters big hits. A cool tune with not very usual ingredients and for sure a great one! Coming up next is 'Beatmakerz".

Opening up the release is 'der groove günther', a stripped back bit of rubbery, supple techno. The groove sure is infectious, but it's the way its detailed with such curious sounds - metal twangs, squelchy chords, icy hi-hats - that makes it so engaging.

On the remix, Tinush reimagnes the track as an even weirder thing. It's all about micro-evolving details, subtle and inherent funk and keen sound design that is part shiny and stiff at the same time as being elastic and bendy.

febe's other idiosyncratic original is 'tag für tag' a hopscotch bundle of tin pot percussion, jumbled finger and hand claps, gloopy beats and fractured female vocals that are diced and sliced beyond recognition. It sure does make for fresh and arresting house music that operates in a world all its own.

Paul Müller turns in a remix of this one and re-works it into a delightfully jazzy yet synthetic house cut with busy piano lines and bulbous synth notes.

Never sitting still for a second, it twists and turns and will have you doing the same for its duration.

The first vinyl pressing is a limited golden seal edition!!

PINS AND NEEDLES are proud to present their latest release IVAN MASA & BROTHERS IN PROGRESS entitled PURA VIDA. This production trio has been successfully releasing their music on labels such as Quanticman Records, Draft, Escapism Musique and various others. Their latest work PURA VIDA includes two original tracks PURA VIDA and VOUS DANSER. The title track PURA VIDA is a tribal influenced Deep House production with a very addictive groove. The carefully arrange percussions, african influenced vocal snippets and groovy drum beat on top of a quirky baseline clearly define the trio's passion for House music. The second track VOUS DANSER is a more laid back House version with smooth synth sounds, catchy vocal parts, a funky baseline and a deep House beat that keeps you moving all night long. Overall both tracks are truly mastered for the dance floor and they surely won't disappoint anyone who is passionate about House music.
To round up this package we have an amazing line up of remixers for each track. PURA VIDA has been reinterpreted by one of Pins and Needle's favourite producers ANTHEA, known for her very successful releases on labels such as Desolat, Cecille, Tuning Spork and many others.
For VOUS DANSER label honcho PHILIPP ORT took the chance and finalises the package with a deep, groovy reinterpretation of the original mix.

This 2x12" solidifies Jon McMillions idiosyncratic veteran's position as a producer of international stature.
Seattle producer Jon McMillion has been infiltrating headphones and weirding up clubs with his sublimely unusual techno and house tracks since 2006. His restlessly mutating output attains another bizarre peak with the Free Love EP, released jointly with his new pseudonym VisionWorks II. This new four-track single solidifies this idiosyncratic veteran's position as a producer of international stature.

This is the thirteenth full-length release by producer DER DRITTE RAUM (Andreas Krüger). His discography is as stunning as the list of his live appearances. There's not a soul with the slightest interest in electronic music who has never danced to a track by this extraordinary talented producer. He's one of the few that has truly created his own signature sound. Krüger's trademark is his excessive use of hardware intruments in the studio as well as during his live-performances. For his new output he recorded live drum sessions, and clarinet player and a bunch of vintage instruments are used - like black holes, they suck in and spit out the most varied influences. MORGENLAND is DER DRITTE RAUM's latest album-CD and could be considered an immaculate conception album. What is so memorable about this thirteen new tracks is the way it strikes the perfect balance between studio-experimentation and groovy techno without ever breaking stride or losing focus. The selection conveys a palpable deepness, occasionally harboring a touch of melancholy, yet never becoming overwhelming, for at its peaks. There's nothing brash or over-blown here, all the real action is nestled between the beats - while the grooves he concocts are all so earthy and raw that the kick drum functions as an alternative rather than a necessity.

HARVEY MCKAY's 1st Release on Saved Records !!! Grrrrreat !!!

now back in !!

Desolat celebrate their 5th anniversary with a very special edition of their annual sampler- This edition not only sees artists from the Desolat family turn in exclusive tracks, but also sees Loco Dice supply a first mix on Desolat (DESOLAT MIX001). Loco Dice's 'Lolopopinho' picks up where his recent 'Toxic' EP left off: a groovy energetic whirlwind production that takes the listener on a head spinning journey into the recesses of the label bosses club-orientated mind. Shlomi Aber's 'Mancha' features a sublime bouncing bassline, whilst Yaya weighs in with a track that nods to a fantastically bright future. The latest talent to emerge from the highly respected Romanian scene is Horatio. His track 'How Much 909 Can You Take' serves up a warbling aural assault that will easily get feet stomping. Lucero en Vivo's 'La France' first surfaced in 2010 when it caused a stir on Dice's Amnesia Ibiza Underground 10 mix CD. A welcome addition to the sampler and finally getting the full release it deserves! The young blood of Desolat is rounded of by Alexkid's ethereal 'Enty' which provides some moodiness to proceedings. And of course the mainstays of the label have also turned in impressive productions. Hector's 'Amorphous Mass' displays the dark depths of the Desolat vaults, whilst the first lady of Desolat tINI turns in a warm intricate release in 'Room 305 And as if that was not enough, the release comes with a download code that allows access to all 15 tracks used in a Loco Dice mix available on CD with the cat. No. DESOLAT MIX001.
