great new ep on red vinyl !!

It's not only islands that need to be travelled to: developing a sound is a true journey, and one's changing environments naturally play a role in that evolution.

alva noto's new album "univrs" follows on from and develops the concept of the album unitxt (raster-noton, 2008).

Stuart Li aka Basic Soul Unit (Versatile, Mathematics, Ostgut Ton) has delivered 4 new cuts of submerged bass excursions for Nouveau Kanada.
All tracks sound distinctly raw and heavy, but with modern nods to UK bass and spatial elektro.

The much-anticipated album from Jonsson/Alter, the new project from Henrik Jonsson (Porn Sword Tobacco/Gunnar Jonsson) & Joel Alter (Joel Alter/Jor-el), has finally arrived. If the very well received preceding EPs, Olidan (km019) and En Livfull Skildring (km020), are future classics, the album Mod, sets a new standard of what a dance music album could be.

The third release from Färden Records from Stockholm, Sweden. Pure quality techno as usual. This time featuring Julien H Mulder who takes us out on a trip in far away territories. This is some real dope stuff!

Achtung, warning, Balushi is out with two new Techno bombs for the summer. On the A side let me be myself is a deep aquatic adventure with a huge basline chugging along. There are some deep dark underwater effects and vocal snippets which develop into a deep stabby groove that hypnotizes anyone listening to the track. There is then a break with a beautiful vocal derived from the snippets that refreshes the listener and takes them into another dimension before bringing them back into the heavy hipnotic groove. On the AA side we have the path one hell of a techno crossover designed to electrify and rock summer crowds all globally...With a funky meaty bassline that rolls on and perfectly complements both Rasta vocals and crazy electronic synths and squelches The Path is a fat groove to look out for on the hottest dancefloors...

Billy Dalessandro, famous Chicago producer, known for his releases on prestigious
labels such as Harthouse, or Siteholder, offers us a quality track that only he has the
secret to. Navigating between minimal and techhouse, 'Gruyère' has all the
necessary elements that you beat hungry clubbers are looking for. A real gem.
Plastic FM, the swiss duo already discovered in 2010 through several releases on
the label Ostwind, have delivered two techhouse influenced tracks, rhythmically
solid and supported by a really efficient chord line, Corner and Smoke Enough
remain faithful to the Plastic FM sound.

the new ep from the 1605 vinyl label !!!

It has been three years since Steam Circuit (2008) first glimpsed the light of day and gave us hits like "Edding 850" which shot to the top of the Beatport charts. The two Berliners have been very busy and have founded their own label Formatik Records about two years ago amongst many other things.

3RD RELEASE FROM ARGUMENTO FEATURING KINK / ALEX ARNOUT & MARKO NASTIC

I'm sure Mowgli, real name Michele Savasta, needs no introduction but just in case you don't know it's time you got to know! With tracks/remixes appearing on Deadfish, Great Stuff and Fools Gold Mowgli is no stranger to the electronic music world.

"I Gotta Feeling" is a sublime deep house original from Mr. Savasta. A simple yet delightfully pleasant groove carries you through the duration of the record as if you were riding on your hand-made south-east-asian silk magic carpet on a warm sunny day basking in the summer heat. The point, this track has been carefully crafted and made from the finest material around. When you throw in the catchy synth lines and vocal samples you get a track that effortlessly gets you tapping your feet.

The flip side calls upon German star &Me for remix duties. This saved records/Kitball/Keinemusik veteran does what he does best and takes the original then stamps his big old stamp all over it. Some people claim techno is soulless but there is a reason &Me has blown up over the last year and that's due to the way he manages to conjure emotion through his music, and this is a prefect example. A genuine techno bomb.

sorry, not repressed !!!

Ann Aimee goes darker and more minimalistic than before with this debut release by Area Forty_One. This unknown producer gives us his personal interpretation of modern techno. This double pack contains five solid techno cuts, filled with spacy and robotic sounds, together with one imminent ambient track. Discharging Clouds gives us tracks, each one containing it's unique vibe, and will please anyone with a preference for the dark, sinister techno sound. The mysterious Area Forty_One is one to keep an eye on...
