Hailing from one of Europe's historical hot beds for electronic music, Valencia, Upercent makes his well deserved return to KX. Electronic music culture runs deep in his hometown. Barraca, with 50 years of age one of the world's longest running clubs was instrumental in developing what later on became the global phenomenon called Balearic Disco, one of the blueprints for modern clubbing as we know it. Upercent's take on house music is shaped by his unorthodox use of classical instruments and a deep understanding of groove. His new double header for Kompakt's offshoot KX once again proves Upercent's knack for highly infectious hooks and elegant story-telling. Both "Ocell" and "Explota" are fine examples of his tremendous skills in creating state of the art club music with depth and vigor.

Indy Nyles BLK SYSTM EP delivers four tracks of contemporary sounding techno. “BLK HRT” is a fluid amalgam of rolling, glassy synth tones, “BLK MND” is an exercise in similar territory but some of the rough corners are shaved off to allow room for a snaking acid line that begins to emerge a mere 30 seconds in, “BLK SOL”, is a shuffling, rolling, acid track, which lacks a conventional four to the floor kick but is still a fantastic beat tool for the creative DJ. The EP closes with “BLK SYSTM,” which features a gorgeous, lush, beatless intro, like the stunning opening segments that used to grace Detroit tracks of yore. Sirena Negra’s second release is another reason to get excited about this fledgling label and makes it an imprint to watch in the future.

Our Italian artist Luca Morris can surely relax now. This is already his 4. release for Monika Kruse's label and definitely no end in sight. Besides supporting Juventus Turin and running his own label Polar Noise (together with Paul C) he is busier with his dj gigs than ever. So he was relaxed enough to woth on these 4 fantastic tracks, all different but still showcasing his trademark style.

Minimalist, dark and heavy-techno from the L.I.E.S. Jealous God, Semantica affiliate and techno butcher Domenico Crisci. designed to decimate. The four tracks phase into and out of structure, utilising simple means to devastating effect and offering almost no rest as they rush forward, hungry for blood.

Spain meets India with a touch of Canada!!! This time it's true: it's the unsual collaborations which are the special ones. Thanks to their dj travels and hi speed internet, spanish dj/producer Ramiro Lopez produced three enormous floorfillers together with Arjun Vagale from New Delhi which instantly convinced Monika Kruse to release on her label. The eighth disc in Indigo area’s ÆX series is another excellent showcase of diverse techno flavours combined in one disc. Familiar faces to the series Bas Amro, Tetelepta and Taupe return with their very own signature techno sound, from minimal stripped down hypnotizations to the deeper and warm dub grooves. Label curators Jasper Wolff and Maarten Mittendorff, who recently launched their new Indigo aera production alias, jump in with a true ‘90 inspired floor track where the new mysterious Anton Biotica completes the package with a tribally fun and playful tool.

A new project from two anonymous Aussie Veterans. Melbourne's smouldering underground turns up two untitled cuts from BAD CHANNEL, named for the faulty mixing console they were produced on, with a cheeky nod to Mark and Moritz. Organic late night tracks, soulful and dub wise. They passed Bradley Zero's litmus test, so now they come to you cut deep on Rhythm Section's twilight sister imprint INTERNATIONAL BLACK.

the new remixes of this old soft cell classic !!

Just some weeks after the release of Volume 1, this new Great Stuff series delivers Volume Two. Again no needless bonus tracks or B-sides, only great tunes from great artists.

New imprint Bogen Konzept Recordings first release comes from Todd Sines under his Cron alias.
Two previously released cuts from 1994 and two immaculate productions from 2017 coded and compiled by this well known artist.

Bogen Konzept Recordings is run by the namesake Bogen Konzept Store based in Kassel, Germany and is very excited and proud to announce the opening of his new own label.

After many years of parties, clubbing and researching we decided to move another step up the ladder with this addition ... or addiction.

Following up his appearance on Part 4 of our Strength In Numbers compilation, we are ecstatic to present some fresh material from no other than DJ Slip. A name that has been on the tongue of anyone entrenched in the US techno scene since the early 90's, DJ Slip has entranced audiences for years with his brilliantly bizarre take on sonics. Remix duties this time around come from Berghain resident DJ and all around musical powerhouse, Answer Code Request.

Planting the listener on some foreign stratospheres has always been DJ Slip's expertise, and 'Highland' comes as no exception. Echoed synth stabs detune into the dark while a barrage of claps and clangs provide an onslaught of percussive cleverness that is a signature of the Slip sound. 'Aerial' comes at you like a plane colliding with the earth, a kamikaze of dissonance spiraling downwards and then
in reverse. It's driving tempo, surreal drones, and thudding toms cascade into an intense peak time experience. Answer Code Request provides the perfect counter as a remix, smoothing out the edges into a refined, psychedelic expedition that breathes and shifts as it tunnels deeper. All three tracks together create a diverse and gripping package with something suitable for all times of the night.

DMT aka Dorian Paic, Markus Fix and Tobi Neumann dig a little deeper on their next offering. 'Ride" does exactly what it says on the tin, taking you on a nine-minute journey that starts with an extended build-up, offering a tantalising glimpse of what's to come. From then on, House chords and dub elements abound, complemented throughout by beguiling melodic lines, hypnotic vocal samples, effects and some smooth filter action. This co-production from three Tech House specialists harmonises perfectly, creating a well-rounded, homogeneous track that leaves you craving for more!

Born in Berlin but 'living the life' in Mannheim, Fabe is the next insider tip on Cocoon worth keeping an eye on. Already shaking up clubs around the world, he's also part of the Cocoon Ibiza line up this year! However he's not only turning heads as a DJ, his productions also work on an extremely high level featuring a unique sound signature. His Cocoon Recordings track "Last Shot For Bob" creaks, growls, clatters, squeaks and knocks in all directions creating an incredibly cool and, above all, groovy sound. It's electronic noise-funk served up in the best techno and house fashion, that drags you onto the dance floor and drenches you in pleasure.
