Deep Space Orchestra is the recording pseudonym for a long-standing series of collaborations between Chris Barker and Si Murray, who met in 2005 while watching Joe Claussell and Danny Krivit spin at a Body & Soul night. Their music draws inspiration from classic house and techno as well as film soundtracks, sci-fi flicks, video games and a dark sense of humour.

The 4th release on their own imprint "Pattern Repeat" (Resoe & Kenneth Christiansen) again delivers two killer Techno tracks. The duo has really built themselves a solid reputation on the previous 3 releases, and gained support
from artists like Function, Silent Servant, Pär Grindvik, Levon Vincent, Darko Esser, Reference, Samuli Kemppi. Pattern Repeat shows how the modern Berlin sound really can get a twist of the new sound of Copenhagen.

Another Exchange Place meet-up f/Joey Anderson, Nicuri, & DJ QU. Abstract house, deeply rooted in both Detroit, & Chicago, w/just enough off-kilter hooks to make you say both, what are they thinking~ And I gotta HAVE that. Compelling stuff.

Arne Weinberg delivers a very personal record allowing the listener to enter his emotional world. The title track 'Chrome' is a dark and sinister piece of deep techno full of nocturnal sounds and textures, driven by a pulsating bassdrum and rolling snares. One of the darkest tracks he has ever written.

The first ep from Resoe´s  upcoming debut album "The black void of space..." features two original tracks from the album.

In 1992 Jeff Mills, Mike Banks and Robert Hood - still known at that time as Underground Resistance - released what was probably the most futuristic album in modern electronic music: "X-102 discovers The Rings Of Saturn", as part of their X-102 series. The tracks on X-102 were reduced to minimal levels, looping with a marginal BMP rate, spacey and sometimes entirely without beats. This was revolutionary: listeners had just become accustomed to the uncompromising Detroit techno sound that the three of them had produced so far. Thus on the way to Saturn they surpassed even themselves, if not a decade jump then at least 15 years ahead of their time. Only since the Cassini / Huygen missions have we been able to gather images and awareness about Saturn, its moons, and the consistency of its rings. Jeff Mills' fascination for the planet remained intact but to reanimate the project he had but one requirement: only together with Mike Banks. Until now this hasn't been possible because since the 1990's both co-founding members of UR have gone their separate musical ways. But finally they've again joined forces to activate together their second Saturn mission. "Flyby" EP is a second 12 inch from "X-102 rediscovers The Rings Of Saturn" project, mixed with the tracks from the original X-102 album and the new music reflecting the knowledge gained through modern space research. This is not old-meets-new: this is innovation restructured with masterful polishing - timeless.

Over the last few releases the unassuming Sandwell District label has, with little promotion, come to the attention of some of the biggest hitters in techno, including one of the undisputed kings of the Berlin scene, Mr Marcel Dettmann.

It took many years for folks to realise that Chicago's Housewerk Records was in fact an outlet for Regis and Female's much praised tech-house productions as 'Reality Or Nothing'.

Pelacha has been focused on her Playground project in the past few years; with the support of her friends, she now decides to pursue a project that will round up her musical career: the launch of RedSonja Records, certainly a very personal way of understanding techno, which has been an obvious part of her career up to this date. This passion now results in two releases. And this is just the beginning... The first release contains Pelacha's cuts in their purest style, techno without additives, a drum and bass line that absorbs the spotlight, led by a line that sets the synth pace - simple and effective. Heiko Laux's interpretation gives this track a German touch; tight bass and a touch of surround development sound pure and highly hypnotic.

Integrity Constraint Part 1 is the first in a series of aDepth audio releases by Glasgow resident Arne Weinberg. Weinberg, originally from Germany, earned his stripes with brilliant releases on respected techno labels including his own AW-Recordings. Like all aDepth audio releases, the Integrity Constraint 12" includes a remix with a distinctly different interpretation of one of the tracks. We're kickstarting this one with a Kirk Degiorgio remix.
