* Artist Statement:
Conduit contains moments from the last two or so years of my life. There have been a lot of trying times and ups and downs in there. These moments are the exhaust of that life. Some more subjective than others. We are simply conduits for whatever flows through our cores. We tap into it. We allow it to flow through us. As it takes shape, we select its forms and hone its output. We are simply conduit for our work. Maintain the Flow State.

2021 sees EPM hit a new milestone as the digital distribution, rights management, PR company and record label celebrates 20 years of electronic music. The first part of the EPM20 celebrations sees a series of three multi-artist EPs released across the summer, each focussing on a different genre – techno, electro and house – the three main pillars of EPM’s musical heritage. Each EP features four brand new and exclusive tracks released digitally and on vinyl in specially designed sleeves.

The first of these EPs focuses on techno and presents new tracks from four of the world’s leading techno artists, Robert Hood, Ben Sims, James Ruskin and Mark Broom. The choice was an easy one for EPM, not only because of the artists’ excellent production skills but also because of a long working relationship, which includes the digital distribution of their respective labels – M-Plant, Hardgroove, Blueprint and Beard Man.

Robert Hood opens the release with ‘Shadows’. It’s classic Hood with a modern twist, as the minimal techno master segues between a tough line and delicate bells. Next, Ben Sims infuses ‘Xotnuc’ with all the upbeat energy and tech-funk he brings to his skilful DJ sets. James Ruskin then steps up, bringing a dizzying experimental edge to ‘There Was A Time’ that’s championed 25 years of his Blueprint label. Last but definitely not least is the UK techno icon, Mark Broom. ‘The Three Swords’ builds with a beautiful precision that will make you yearn for the dance floor even harder.

The second EP featuring four electro tracks follows in June, with the third, house EP in July. The compilation ‘EPM20’ will follow after the summer.

In these dark times of Covid we still have our music. We have the sounds to soothe us, distract and take our minds away from the chaos and uncertainty.
We can't dance like we used to but we can hear and feel. Our release must be found in another way, we must look within. We find solace and grant ourselves space and time in the music.

Sam McQueen (Indio co-producer with John Beltran, Indigo Aera, Delsin Records, Furthur Electronix) presents his debut album Dreams In Sepia for Mojuba sub label a.r.t.less and hits us with a real time soundscape of the moment, an epic-like document of these times. The rhythms are subtle, sometimes broken, the time structures often complex, this is not primarily dance floor orientated music. These sounds are way more cerebral, for the heads. They reflect perfectly the complexities of life we are experiencing in 2020.

The edges are rounded with occasional strolling bass lines and comfy chords. Slabs of keys and spaced out female vocals like a psychedelic journey that scares you at first yet comforts you soon after. Sam McQueen's mediatory sounds give an overwhelming sense of the moment. The music makes you take time out and listen. Its purposeful manner suggests there are more hours in the day, like time slowing down a pause, like the sun slithering slowly behind the horizon. These are sunset sounds for dark back-rooms.

Daytime or night, it works. This is the soundtrack for the other room, the deeper sounds not designed to make you dance. This music doesn't get in your face, it creeps up and smacks you on the ass. There are elements of early nineties UK Techno, a warmth and delicateness that pervades a distinct lack of four four dance floor in the beat structures, a softer tone throughout than the harder Detroit techno sounds of the same era but still nods and acknowledgements to the D in the layout and way the sounds present themselves. Think John Beltran, Symbols and Instruments, Black Dog or Kirk DeGiorgio, mid 90s Berlin sounds from Basic Channel / Rhythm & Sound, but in lockdown. Music for today's modern lacking landscape. The sounds often familiar, analogue, the drums, hi hats and snares, shimmer, jazz style. They accentuate and push the rest of the elements around them.
?In a bygone era this would be crudely classed as Chill Out music. In 2020 Covid era its about how it makes you feel as you relax and really listen to it. It is about emotion and empathy, a oneness, a new unknown and a deeper train of thought for the listener. Much like 2020, Sam McQueen lays the pieces round the edge of the jigsaw and lets you fill in the rest.

After a first release on CPU Records last year, the Montreal and Lahti-based duo is back with a new EP on WeMe Records. Hexamer Recon comprises six tracks of hard-hitting, acid-tinged live jams recorded in Montreal earlier this year.

2lanes is part of the latest resurgence in Detroit's techno underground whose infamy is built via amorphous live appearances / DJ sets, collaborations with contemporaries like AceMo and John F.M., and a steady, hilarious and blunt presence on Twitter. 2 Lanes first appeared in Detroit ~six years ago and quickly made a name for himself in the local scene, promoting shows with international artists and friends from NYC, all while making an effort to respect the city's unique musical identity and history. He carries the tradition of Detroit's electronic pioneers who pursued new ideas in production and gear, bringing perfection to the craft, and developing unique twists in his process.

Participating in the contemporary electronic music world required splitting your time between 2 places at once: Online, always-on, in constant engagement with friends + foe alike; In Real Life, physically traveling city to city, DJing and collaborating, all while maintaining a sense of self. And now, all that's different.

Releasing a club-ready 12" in the midst of a global pandemic? That's the 2 Lanes. We heard an earlier version of "Baby's Born 2 Fish" what feels like 10 years ago, rinsing "Impish Desires" when there were still gigs. Do you remember the Apollo Masters plant fire in early February? How long were pressing plants closed, again? How long have we been living in this new reality? 2lanes hopes that the messages of this music; fear, isolation, friendship, love and how we exist at this intersection comes through for the listener.

"Baby's Born To Fish" / "Impish Desires" is a heavy hitting AA side, rejuvenating, explosive, off your face. They're ready for the eventual return 2 the dance floor, and sooner for your streaming DJ set. We don't know when we can see you IRL, but we know it'll be in mixes for decades to come.

Biz's Set Me Free EP is an adventurous and personal exploration of techno which is composed for the dance floor but also sparks the heart. The grinding grooves of opener 'Set Me Free' immediately shows a pairing of a tough mentality with a supreme sense of soul. The exquisite 'Don't Stop' builds with an enthralling techno tension that finally lets up and will immerse the listener in liberation. Last but not least 'Autumn Blues', a perfectly melancholic journey through deeper techno that lifts the spirits with optimistic synths.

An absolutely georgous 12" by Orlando Voorn under his Baruka moniker focusing on ambient house / IDM and downtempo, think of the heyday of Black Dog, New Electronica, Artificial Intelligence, and Fat Cat Records shop, with Orlando's touch. And a truly delicious acid line on Circles.

Despite the fact that we are all still hanging in there, 2021 kicks in heavy in style for CHILDHOOD with a killer 4-tracker 12" release by DON WILLIAMS. Thomas and I met a while ago on a dancefloor, however our friendship sealed for good when we met online playing endless Splatoon sessions on Nintendo Switch. Our common interest in a broad range of things and music in particular led to a deep exchange of ideas when it comes to the love for the vinyl product. Having started the label last year with DJ DEEPs VAINCRE EP, I can surely state that Thomas was kind of a mentor and of countless help when it comes to setting things up. I therefore couldn't be happier and more thankful to welcome him to the CHILDHOOD family with BLITHE SPIRIT, a true masterclass EP ranging from experimental and complex rhythms, over driving dancefloor madness to soulful early morning ecstasy cuts. Part one of two EP release on Transmat. New artist from Detroit!

Hiroshi Watanabe does not hold back on Threshold of Eternity EP. The Leonids Strings is a deeply emotional and delicate string arrangement that leaves the listener beauty struck and in awe. Into the Memory is a dance floor banger which holds true to Watanabe's exquisite skill as a techno producer. The release contains a beautiful balance between groove and beauty which is rarely present in a techno record. The cover photography is a photo by Watanabe himself of his hometown Tokyo.

'PRSNT' is a unique global artistic project combining the input of artists across the worlds of music, video and written word which acts as a statement on how we, as consumers, engage with music in the 21st century. Vital electronic musicians including Ryuichi Sakamoto, Lafawndah, Lyra Pramuk, Lucrecia Dalt and Visible Cloaks have each contributed tracks, which are approximately 32 seconds long.

The concept was devised by Created By Us and the Barcelona-based label Modern Obscure Music. They read a study which identified that the overwhelming volume of instantly accessible information online is shortening attention spans and altering how audiences engage with music digitally. Their curiosity about the state of online consumption developed further on discovering that around a third of all listeners using digital platforms skip to the next track, within the first 30 seconds of playing.

Each musician was given a fascinating challenge to create engaging compositions with real artistic merit, inside the confines of this shortened span. Akin to Brian Eno's famous Windows 95 start-up music, the time constraints are crucial, and the compositions are deceptively complex and more substantial than expectations of their nano nature would suggest.

'PRSNT' acts as a critique of flighty feed culture, but is simultaneously constructive, providing something which is either proposed solution, or "if you can't beat 'em join 'em" resignation. Every artist has interpreted the brief differently, resulting in an intriguing blueprint for the potential future of digital music. Could abbreviated micro compositions satisfy, inspire and nourish like their longer counterparts? They certainly take up much less of listeners' busy lives, which are often spent tackling ever-increasing workloads.

After his first release on Soundtravels, the Flight EP ST004, Orlando is back with a straight forward techno banger. Three powerful and energetic floorfillers drenched in typical Voorn funkyness. Classic material again and a musthave for all you Detroit technofans out there.

the moment we have waited so long to put this material in physical form has finally come! we honestly dont know much about this guy, but one sure thing is that we been instantly amazed by quality, skills and variety of his music (and quantity too..he filled our pockets with more than 100 unreleased tracks in few days!). not really a common thing. we are really thrilled and excited so to give light and to present this to you. a mixture of styles, visions, messages, speeds, emotions and structures that make his touch and this record an absolute pearl for us. it will be a long and strong relation with this mind we assume!

Esteban Adame aka Frequencia drops the track list for an intergalactic backyard party with the Chicano Boombox EP. Esteban’s music career started as a DJ in L.A.’s East Side backyard party scene, he then stepped up his musical game by collecting gear and studying the piano. His evolution into a professional musician led him to gigs around L.A.’s jazz and salsa scenes. But he never lost his love for DJ culture and electronic music and that led him to join Mad Mike’s Galaxy 2 Galaxy band through his mutual friendships with UR’s Santiago Salazar and Yaxteq’s own DJ Dex. He’s released music on esteemed labels such as Underground Quality, Dolly, Mister Saturday Night, EPM, Jealous God and more. He also collaborates with DJ Dex as El Coyote.

“Rush The Floor” makes you want to do just that with its hypnotic lead synth and a breakdown that will leave the dancefloor wanting more. “Deep Function” flexes musical chops via soulful chords and a perfectly timed solo all riding over a thumping house beat. “Still Here” recalls classic Detroit Techno methodology as a reminder to keep the inspiration flowing. The EP is rounded out with “The Promise” a driving yet euphoric track perfect for watching the sunrise after a long night.

Population One, also known as Terrence Dixon, offered a first remix of his mysterious, minimal Detroit track 'Rush Hour' for the celebration of the label's 10th anniversary and now blesses us with new takes on five 'Hippnotic Culture' album tracks. The impressive 'Hippnotic Culture' LP was originally released in 1995 on the long defunct Utensil label, which was run by Claude Young.

Carl Craig has announced Detroit native and hotlytipped selector DJ Holographic is next in-line for his prestigious 'Detroit Love' mix compilation series dropping on Planet E Communications. Following in the footsteps of predecessors like Stacey Pullen and Wajeed, being invited to mix vol.05 of the series is testament to DJ Holographic being one of Detroit's most anticipated breakthrough DJ's. Born and raised in the Motor City's deep musical legacy, Ariel Corley aka DJ Holographic is an ambassador for Detroit through and through. Having cut her teeth as a DJ in the local scene over the past decade DJ Holographic is admired for her versatility, eclecticism, and impeccable taste. Ariel has firmly established herself as a staple of Detroit's modern underground scene, a core member of the city's LGBQT+ community and a devoted activist for local humanitarian causes - love for Detroit underpins every element of Ariel Corley's life. After Edge of reality from DVLVCRVZ, Jupiter4 continue the Texas-Berlin connection signing DJ Akoza, owner of legendary DOOMSHOP records and known for being one of the sharpest beat makers on the scene right now. DOG U OUT EP is a remastered selection from recent works of the artist combined with 3 dance club music remixes from Cyan85, DJ Normal 4 and MUTANT JOE that goes from Electro, Detroit bass to Breaks and Jungle.

With no need for further introduction, the legendary Cleveland and now Berlin based producer Dan Curtin lands on Fabio Della Torre's Tuscan label Bosconi with 2 previously unreleased gems from his 90's DAT archive. The release is further enriched by Curtin's very first live rework of one of the tunes. After Releasing on such labels as Headspace, 7th Sign, and Sublime and with the recent repress of his historic Silicon Dawn album on Peacefrog including the supremely modern Population 2, here comes the previously unreleased Population III which moves even more forward into the outer realms of space and time. On the long side the farsighted and futuristic Metamorphic label boss delivers this marvelous continuation of the previous version taking it more into straight forward techno and even further into deep minded synth experimentation and acid bleeping. On the Flip we have a modern live rework of Population III which Dan has been playing around the world in his current live set. The live version goes a bit more into electroid landscapes but still maintains a straight groove for electro and techno purists most playful moments. The third cut is the epic acid banger and previously unreleased Redshift, showing already at those times that Dan Curtin was defying conventions and pushing boundaries and pioneering what we can now consider modern dance music while displaying melting innovation and deeply felt emotional content at the same time.

Glorious and epic two tracker vinyl for Bosconi Records, this time by our favourite Detroit techno duo The Oliverwho Factory. We used to be big fans of their Madd Chaise works andlatest Rush Hour and Planet E were awesome, but that percussive sound was different from what we knew from their past. We wanted them to give another chance to their more jacked out musical side in memory of the two masterpieces (and Bosconi Soundsytem Favourite waxes) those were "The Rhythm"

Playful modern electronics with enough melody and invention to stimulate your cortex and an almost whistful nostalgic yearning. Hope! fire is burning, flag is flying.

Mutual fans Sherard Ingram and Mariska Neerman join forces to present four essential tracks spanning the breadth of contemporary electro on this second release from Bleep43 Recordings. The first side sees Ingram exploring the edges of his famously unique blend of intricate yet relentless electronics, simultaneously touching on Autechre's metallic abstractions while sounding the depths of bubbling oceanic vents. Mariska answers with two tracks of melancholy machine music that embody her talent for melody and arrangement and promise to make their presence felt on dancefloors across the spectrum.

The always-innovative John Beltran surprises us with his first release on a Romanian label. The circularity of Energy Circle, the beauty of The Cycles EP, sets a typically Beltran soundscape, a melodic mood for this three-pieced beauty. The Sun Also Rises on the flip side, making it the rather bright beast of the release, while the marching B2 – Going Uphill Fast (hope on the horizon) — is a granular techno classic, closing Eufonic Records' first release on a very Detroit note.

Following up to his debut mini-album “Antennen” issued last year on Noorden, fellow Cologne-based producer Panta Rex returns to the label with “Lefty”, his sophomore three-track delivery which finds him scoping out the confines between photophobic modular techno, subsheavy traction and AI-operated melodicism.

True to the intricate engineering of his first compositions, Panta Rex expands his sonic logos to even broader horizons of -altered- functionality. Most definitely a piece of club-oriented abstr-activism though offering vaster sequences and audio expanses to perambulate your mind within, “Lefty” is a mille-feuille of textural ambiguities, secret rooms and corridors – piecing together galloping dynamics with bleepy opaqueness as it leaves your mind out of focus all the way through to a steely, slo-burning yet highly choreographic finale.

Veering off to a more aqueous, dubby state of mind, B1 “Swerve” draws the loud, muffled kicks and FX-drenched synth stabs for a much immersive ride in the deep, shrouded in organic envelopes and overlapping layers of intriguing sonic minutiae. Closing cut “Dizz” wraps it up on a more breaksy note with its contrasted ballet of wistful strings, sliced-and-diced drumwork and dissonant chimes opening us to a heightened, 90s-informed apex of sorts, where Panta Rex’s subtle touch and widescreen vision bloom all the more unreservedly.

Co-Accused kick things off on their label with sonic grooves from another galaxy! The title track ‘Psychonaut Society’ sends you on a deep space exploration of electro with driving, Detroit dreaminess. The Jensen Interceptor remix is a darker trip with wicked drums and sinister synth work. On the flip side it’s a sonic assault with ‘Wormhole Warzone’ taking you on a hypnotic relentless techno journey. ‘Restricted Access’ closes off the EP with futuristic electro funk that will have you dislocating hips on the dance floor!

Nicson is Seville-based Spanish producer Vicente Rodriguez, founder of Flumo Recordings, who makes his Third Ear debut with a dark, rolling House record. Two tracks are collaborations with Skinnybone Love. Trippy and deep.

A true font of music knowledge and able to play fluid sets of many genres from Funk through to Techno, on this EP he displays clear influences from Detroit, Chicago, London and of course..Miami !

Eagle eyes will remember that Super Rhythm Trax 005, the Miami Bass special, was produced by SImon alongside long time collaborator, Bass Junkie and its a pleasure to finally welcome him back to the label.

Martin Buttrich, a name synonymous for decades with expertly curated sonic productions, has had a career as long as it has been prolific. From youthful productions as an 18 year old under the alias 'X-Rotation', to his 2010 debut album 'Crash Test' and its follow-up 'Collaborator, Vol. 1' in 2016, he is an artist who has constantly evolved. Now he's back to showcase his latest EP 'Northeast / Southwest' on Planet E, due for release on 1 February. 'It's been 11 years since my last full release on Planet E and I am so happy to be able to kick off 2019 in style and return to my spiritual home. I spent the last few months working on these tracks at my studio in Barcelona and am looking forward to sharing them with you'. - Martin Buttrich The opening track 'Northeast' sees punchy stabs interlace with a shifting melodic bass, both dancing playfully over and under shuffling snares and hats which carry the listener from start to finish. 'Southwest' continues on with a bouncing percussive groove that provides the platform for a canorous bassline and string melody to emerge.

Pushmaster Discs is proud to present a new project collaboration with label owner Mattia Trani and the rising techno talent Onyvaa from Los Angeles.

The American producer join the label with a massive pure Nu school-Detroit techno spirit combined with atmospheric chords and solid 909 rytm patterns.

Stefan Robbers was one of the very first in Europe to produce and connect with the Detroit oriented techno scene, with his debut release "916 Buena Avenue" on the legendary Djax-Up-Beats label as early as 1990. His Isolation EP brings four brand new trademark Terrace tracks. 'Sonomatic' has the original emotive Technosoul, reminding of early Model 500 works. 'Sunset Route' touches the European synth/Kraftwerk lines where 'Magic Potion' is a bright uplifting dancefloor mover. Closing track 'Voices From The Moon' finishes the pack with a more introvert and much darker approach.

Collaborators & close friends since the foundational years of Berlin and Detroit’s spiritual & musical partnership, two undisputed pioneers of electronic music, Carl Craig and Moritz von Oswald, continue to expand on a shared musical vision.

‘Attenuator’ is the first production to emerge from a series of studio sessions in Berlin and Detroit over the past two years, with more material to come in the near future. Although originally produced in unison, this two-sided single sees both Craig and von Oswald deliver their own distinct take on the material, each fluidly expanding on their uniquely intertwined heritage.

For his take on ‘Attenuator’, Carl Craig leans further into the fluid blend of track-led techno and warm musicianship that remain central to his work, building stifling tension as a prelude to a fervent brew of warm pads and celestial sax. Headstrong and deep, Craig embraces his dancefloor nous without sacrificing a moment of beatitude

In response, Moritz Von Oswald bathes the brass and the bliss of ‘Attenuator’ in the accomplished Dub texture he’s long been known for, unspooling layers of musicianship to roll forward a loose, fresh and equally fulfilling atmosphere, one that still maintains the arresting pulse established at the heart of the duo’s sophisticated, futurist philosophy.

Lost Communication Procedure, Found In Space and Remarkable Wanderer etch a sound world of choral vibrations and cinematic dirge. Not least an expert in industrial abstraction, a human silhouette permeates Dixon’s sound. His ethereal storytelling portrays the heart-rending romance of Unconditional Love and unearths in I’m Away In Detroit monologuing moodscapes recalling our GPS voice assistants.

The bumping mood of Earth Station is one such moment, close enough to isolate the diving bass somewhere within, simultaneously from afar it becomes positively gravitational.
The first two records of the series are rightfully considered among the finest embodiments of contemporary minimalism, symbolic documents of afro-futurism. This new work revives the classic series, continuing the relationship between Tresor and the undisputed master of Detroit techno into the present day.

After 6 cassettes Tapes Sublimating is back with their first vinyl EP: 'Venus' by Altered Natives. After releasing his excellent 8th album last year Danny still hasn't run out of ideas. Four tracks telling four stories in different scenes with the whole thing tied together by the tale-teller's trademark sounds and atmosphere with contribution from Budapest's AIWA on the closing track.
Opener 'Venus' is a journey itself. Taking you deeper and deeper to a menacing dungeon second by second. It is dark there. You get lost and unsure what is going to happen. Panic kicks in and you feel something is coming when suddenly... Catharsis. After a while you can open your eyes and get back on your feet. 'Acid Reign' is the most earthly of the four scenes. Everything seems clear for a minute, but then it slowly takes you away, losing your head again. Next scene: leaving the planet, outside the Earth orbit. 'Protohype' is floating in space. It is beautiful up there, but also scary and haunting. Finally AIWA takes you a few lightyears away, when everything becomes blurry and even less familiar. Silence. You only hear your heartbeat, when suddenly the drama continues. Be careful, no escaping this.

Not content with defining the sound of minimal techno in the nineties, Robert Hood has more recently fine tuned his own gospel tinged take on the genre. It comes under the Floorplan moniker, the genesis of which is said to have come to him when awakened by a late night vision. Since 2016, it has been a collaborative duo between Hood and daughter Lyric, and never fails to lead to religious experiences on the dance floor.

With roots in the Detroit techno scene in which Hood first emerged, Floorplan’s sound is embellished with the heartfelt emotions and unbridled passions of Chicago house music. It is heavy and analogue and filled with vigour thanks to the expert drum programming and ever rising sense of euphoria that comes from the well sculpted synths. But it also speaks to the heart and soul and has done since first standout cut ‘We Magnify His Name.’ The pair’s endless quest for the perfect groove continued through albums like 2013’s Paradise - which spawned anthemic singles like ‘Let’s Ride, ‘Baby Baby’ and the massive ‘Never Grow Old’ - and 2016’s Victorious.

The same year saw Hood’s daughter Lyric officially become part of the project. Since then they have taken Floorplan to endless headline shows at high profile clubs and festivals everywhere from New York City to Ibiza, London to Amsterdam. Their electric sets leave crowds feeling uplifted, spiritually awakening and totally in awe. Part of the success of Floorplan is the combination of Robert’s old school excellence and Lyric’s new school innovation: their music, with its big chords and even bigger vocal samples, could be 30 years old or fresh from the pressing plant, such is its universal sense of appeal.

Another new album is due on Aus Music in winter 2019 and once again distills the power of techno and feelings of house music with a certain sense of studio magic that emerges when this iconic father-daughter duo come together. It is rare to make music as stripped back yet emotionally enriched as Floorplan, but this pair do it with ease and a firm focus on durable grooves. Functional but full of form, tense but atmospheric, loopy but ever evolving, Floorplan truly transcend the dance music spectrum.

Delsin presents two supplement EPs to the recently released retrospective compilations of Wladimir M. and Florence. On this first Florence disc its a collection of rarities. The EP opens with Convextions remix of 'The Vineyard', never been released on vinyl before. Second track on side A is the original mix of 'Exploration' as featured on the very first Eevo Lute EP in 1991. Side B opens with Peter Ford aka Baby Ford's remix of 'The Vineyard', originally released in 1996. The EP closes with the original instrumental version of 'Disappointment', to which the lyrics and vocals by Wladimir M. were added later on.

The second part of two additional EPs in Delsin's Eevo Lute re-issue program includes a full 45 rpm cut of the Wladimir M. classic 'Evil'. On the b-side a fresh and drum heavy interpretation of 'Planet E' by Skee Mask. With almost non of the original parts available Skee Mask turns Wladimir's vocal lines up side down and transforms it into a 140 bpm breakbeat monster. Closer of the EP is the strong and emotive 'Disappointment' track, for first time on a vinyl single.

Allen Saei, better known as Aubrey, is a unique DJ and record producer. This funny nickname came from the 80s British cartoon series where the main character had this red nose like him on the first day at the new school after moving from Portsmouth to Cowplain.

Aubrey's career though, is not funny at all since he is considered a pioneer of the global tech-house scene. Like a true rock star, it seems he lived a kind of troubled life across Europe, with a reputation that has made him very well respected in the US also, already in the mid 90s.

He's always played the best clubs and festivals at the four corners of the world, produced some crucial records for labels such as Crayon, Ferox, Intelligence and his own Solid Groove. He's recorded under a few different monikers, including Alien Disco which is also the name of label he self-released this 2x12" on originally.

The WeMe Astrohistorical Museum curates select pieces from CN's fragmented past, displaying a collection of tracks from the digital compilation More Obscure Research on 12" for the first time.

Delsin turns its attention to the archives of one of the great early pioneers of Dutch techno - Eevo Lute Muzique. The label was founded in 1991 by Wladimir Manshanden and Stefan Robbers (who was already recording seminal early techno records as Terrace for Djax-Up-Beats). Channeling the inspiration of the Detroit originators and mixing it up with their own synth pop and new wave influences, Manshanden and Robbers (adopting the Florence alias) forged a bold aesthetic with Eevo Lute, both musically and visually. This was an early iteration of techno as listening music, with an emphasis on expression and narrative over dancefloor functionality, helped in no small part by Manshanden's striking poetry. This double set of remastered, reissued tracks gathers together the earliest Florence and Wladimir M. material, largely recorded between 1991 and 1994, across five discs - the definitive document of a treasured piece of Dutch techno history. Comes with inlay and liner notes by Oliver Warwick.

This year Kevin Saunderson, Ann Saunderson and Paris Grey, collectively known as the legendary band Inner City, release 'Future', their first entirely new material since parting company in 2001, written and produced in collaboration with another Detroit legend, namely Kenny Larkin.

Delsin founder Marsel Van Der Wielen revives his Peel Seamus alias for a debut album proper. The leading Dutch techno label began in 1996 with a cassette-only Peel Seamus release, Publik Draft, which Van Der Wielen primarily distributed through early online channels of communication. There was a small flurry of 12" releases from the project around the turn of the century, but for a long time Peel Seamus has been quiet. The 7th release on BLKMARKET MUSIC comes from Samuel Jabba and is the first part of the Dystopian Future series.

Samuel Jabba is the label co-founder of a new vinyl only label called From the Void Above. Hailing from Bogotá, Colombia, Samuel is a young DJ and talented producer who creates music spanning different genres of electronic music.


On his debut release for Blkmarket Music, the A side starts off with his electro track ‘Acid Pleasure’ on A1. The A2 track ‘Space Mirage’ takes you on an outer space voyage focusing on the more deeper side of techno.


The B side kicks off with his heady breakbeat track ‘Robotics’ on the B1. On B2, Samuel takes us on a dark journey with his minimal electro track entitled ‘Random Demise.’

For our third release on The Secret Sun series, we compiled a second volume of previously unreleased material from the DATs archive of Ballet Mechanique. Produced between 1992 and 1999 and spanning thru different styles all the tracks have Ballet Mechanique’s distinctive and very unique sound: emotive, epic, ravey, funky, uplifting, romantic… some of our favourite adjectives to describe Jeroen Borrenbergs’ music.

Featuring producers who performed during Club Quarantaene 1, our collection begins with Adiel, CcC, Gian, Héctor Oaks, Marcel Dettmann, O-Wells & Solid Blake. The design features architectural motifs of Club Qu. Layers of imagery blended from current and previous Club Qu events. The virtual events past, peaking through the contrasting busy scenes and mirrored negative spaces.

Straight off the back of a classic release on Derrick May’s label Transmat, Australian techno pioneer Biz is back with another ep of serious techno grooves. He creates a vibe that seduces the soul yet also has the tough elements that work so effectively on the dancefloor. This is the thirteenth release on Biz’s own label cliq which was founded in 2002 and is a reminder that Australian techno is here to stay…serious vibes!!

We're happy to announce the fourth chapter of our sought-after Outbound series which also marks Lossless' second release in 2020. After two extended chapters of Outbound, fully showcasing our labels artist roster, Outbound.4 is a crisp double A-Side affair - featuring two killer Techno workouts courtesy of our French stalwart Anthony George Patrice followed up by two Deep/Dub House delights delivered by Son Dos.

Without a doubt, Berlin based frenchman Anthony George Patrice steadily adjusted and developed his sound to a higher level over the last years. His contribution on Side A - "DBZU (Eine Brücke Zum Übermenschen)" and "Crowned Eagle" exposing new artistic shades and Anthony's ability to take you on a sonic journey and soak you into his rich and driving deeper Techno soundscapes.

Side AA belongs to Son Dos - a creative power plant by two Sweden born men: Barcelona based Marco Gegenheimer and Tapia J. Arriagada living in Malta. The duo already caused a stir with their debut "Children Of Almost" on Outcast Oddity. Marco also released some great music on Studio Barnhus as one half of MLiR!
On our Outbound.4 the guys showcase two amazing cuts originated from fruitful studio jams.

The beautiful "Cala" is hypnotizing us in deep, meditative balearic territories while her powerful brother "Maffio" might have had a little testosterone injection along the way and moves us straight onto the dancefloor. Both tunes are capable to unveil their power outdoors just as much as they will in a sweaty basement!

De:tuned continue the cherry-picked selections for their 10th anniversary with volume 5 of the series. Terrace (aka Stefan Robbers) and Nu Era (aka Marc Mac, best known as the founding member of 4 Hero) take you into a melodic Detroit techno universe. On the flipside, Carl Finlow and London Modular Alliance deliver a much darker, muscular style with 2 well executed and inch-tight electro cuts.

Kevin Foakes (Openmind, DJ Food, Ninja Tune) created all the graphic work. Pressed on 180 grams vinyl and a separate digital version will be available from the usual digital shops. Stay tuned!

We’re putting out the first Mister Saturday Night Records release in a long while. It’s by Russell E.L. Butler, and it’s called “Blah Blah”. The record comes out on Friday, September 4, and it contains three tracks made in Prague at the Synthesizer Library and one track made in Russell’s pre-New York home in Oakland.

On the EP’s release date Sept 4th, which is Bandcamp Day, all of the Mister Saturday Night Records share of Bandcamp proceeds from the release will go to Princess Janae Place, an organization that provides referrals to housing for chronically homeless LGBTQ adults in the New York Tri-state area, with direct emphasis on Trans/GNC people of color.

The vinyl release, designed by Boot Boyz Biz, includes a poster featuring these words from Russell:

What are my dreams when they are spoken into real space? Are they statements centering my desires? Are they indictments to hold myself accountable to my vision of life?

My consciousness is meandering and at times I celebrate this drone of words. Stripped of meaning, to reveal what’s beneath. Not an answer, but further questions. The purpose of the mantra is to quiet the conscious mind until the spirit takes over.

Place is important. It grounds the abstract in our humanity. These things came from somewhere. Many places. To culminate into one. Connecting them all. And creating something entirely new. Not an answer, but more questions.

The second EP in Vince Watson's DnA series. 'DnA', an almost 20 track album project focusing purely on Detroit Techno and House and what might be his biggest and best album to date. Coming on his own Everysoul Audio label, Vince's 12th album has been years in the making and see's him go directly back to his Detroit roots. 'DnA EP2' features three exclusive tracks of hi tech soul, heart warming melodies with uplifting motor city grooves. All leading up to a full double pack to be released later in 2019. It was being requested to remake Rhythim Is Rhythim's 'Icon' and 'Kao-tic Harmony' by Derrick May himself in 2015 that greatly inspired Vince to begin writing new original Detroit material and was the catalyst for 'DnA's inception. The album is a dedication and reflection of the three waves of Detroit Techno that inspired a generation and countless electronic producers around the globe. Watson wanted to honour this in the music as closely as possible. Hints of Derrick May, Carl Craig, Mad Mike, Juan Atkins, Kenny Larkin, Stacey Pullen and Dan Curtin can all be heard influencing across the album.

Shinedoe drops her second release on her own Music That Moves label, following on from last year's outstanding Mutant Frequencies EP.

Razor is a four track release that cements the label boss’s role as one of the most important producers in the scene, highlighting her powerful, refined sound throughout the different versions included here.
The original of Razor is as sharp and deadly as the title suggests - a taut, edgy production built around a propulsive rhythm, great swarths of razor-sharp synths and fizzing, popping percussion. The Dub Version strips away the metallic synths and focuses in on the rhythmic interplay of drums, bass and percussion, resulting is a spacy, dubbed out techno weapon.

The remixes come courtesy of Rob Kirkaldy, aka Roberto - the London based techno producer whose exciting, direct sound shows influences from Detroit as well as his hometown. The first remix is a rolling, deep banger - that seems to develop in intensity as waves of sounds merge and meld, guided by laser like percussion. Roberto’s second remix strips away some of the additional layers, and reveals a sleek, rhythmic structure that takes it cues from some of the lords of Detroit techno.

Hugo (Mobilee, Gruuv, Systematic), Aidan Lavelle (Crosstown Rebels, Rebellion, Culprit) and Bvoice & Anrilov (Arma 17) join JCB and Highway Records on a perfect dark and rolling tech house Uppsala EP.

Redshape is back on one of his main labels, Delsin. Having released since 2006 on the Amsterdam imprint he is now back with another four track EP exploring his smoky and atmospheric sound design. Military styled marching drums and an intense growing rubbery bassline marking title track 'Android Malfunction'. Where 'Passenger' stays low and deep with layered up synths that speak of a sparse, dehumanised future world. Closing with the zoned out deep techno cut 'A New Home', lost in dreamy melody sequences that are beautifully melancholic and expansive. As ever, Redshape's visionary brand of techno remains seriously moving here.
