Here comes another release by Echologist aka Brendon Moeller. Brendon did several releases over the year and here comes the next Bomb!!
These tracks were recorded in autumn of 2016 in Brendon's
home studio that is conveniently located in the basement of his home in upstate New York.
The tracks were made using a combination of Hardware and Software. The protocol, well, sync all machines via midi and CV and then jam. Once a jam seems to take on a form he multitrack record all elements in Ableton and then create a nal arrangement and mix down.

Normal Bias are two good friends - Yac and 77 - who both went through punk rebellion, death metal fumes, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and even managed to settle down in life. Along the way they listened to 80s/90s transformation period rebel vibes through a filter of dub - a sound and a tradition that they have always remained faithful to.

Each of them is highly regarded on the Polish dub/dub techno scene in their own right, and now they combine forces, skills and equipment to create a modern take on a sound that unites Studio One and Berlin's Chain Reaction legacies.

For her Trolldans release, Skirt has chosen an arresting cover by John Bauer depicting a shining princess dressed all in white, seemingly revered by four trolls struck by her beauty. But as the title of the EP tells, it's a Mirage. When the music starts, you just know the trolls are done for. Because while there's certainly light in this EP, it's not a warm glow emanating from a sweet little princess. No, it's a ghostly shiver of light emanating from a dark and forgotten place where no light ought to be found at all. Skirt creates visions of thick fog rising from insidious marshes; a mourning veil caught in a dead tree in a deserted graveyard; a massive dust-covered church organ playing for itself in a long crumbled chapel. But there's a clear sense of pace and motion too: below the sweeping, eerie sounds there are beats of stuttering hearts and shaking bones triggering bodily movement. Lakker adds to this with their heavy, pulsating remix, and even brings some playfulness to the table before they too descends into complete darkness. This is a haunted record. A true Mirage.

"The computer is my instrument and the mobile phone recorder my accomplice. Sample-based composition, improv and recordings - random moments, deconstructing context, fragmenting intonations, social interactions, textures, human behavior, surfaces, surroundings, other realities and possibilities. I settle in the realms of subjectivity.
Hidhawk is the musical alter ego of Haydeé Jiménez. The Mexican-based artist and cultural entrepreneur is running a busy life organizing events and cultural projects alongside the border of Mexico and the US. During the night, bedtime stories like Alpagain evolve from the field recordings she is collecting on her various journeys. Alpagain consists of recordings from Istanbul, Tijuana, Berlin and Salzburg, featuring sounds of alpine instruments such as the alphorn, ocarina and hammered dulcimer ( Hackbrett').
The 15 minutes track is brought to the club context on the B-side of the record with a driving remix by Gerald Peklar and a dub retreatment by Analog Solutions mastermind Eduardo De La Calle.

2nd release out for Australian based Trinitys solo project, with two remixes from no other than Luke Hess and Stojche this EP makes a strong edition to the OOC Record Label.

Inaugural release from Bokhari Records offshoot SORN, for explorations into techno, ambience & crunchy cosmic dirt. SORN takes its name from the alien race in the CS Lewis Space Trilogy.
Black Merlin is no stranger to creating music for other worlds and offers two industrial monsters for proper systems and then finishes it off with the beautiful and aptly titled Orbit.

Ricardo Donoso brings his triptych of releases to a close with this remix EP, bringing in five diverse and respected artists to pick tracks for re-working. Yves De Mey opens proceedings with a nerve-wracking, midnight black take on 'The Sphinx' which slowly builds through layers of skittering synths, while Recondite, hot on the heels of his Hinterland album, brings 'Diagonal Environment' straight to the floor with a driving 4/4 that adds a solid backbone to proceedings.On the flip, Subtext figurehead Paul Jebanasam offers up the most abstract cut on the record withthe dark and winding 'Affirmation' remix complete with intricate compositional elements and blasting cinematics, while John Tejada offers a club-ready version of 'The Redeemer' before Andreas Tilliander's TM404 provides an acid-soaked take on 'Open Drawer, Full of Masks' .

Second release from San Fran's VOLTAGE MUSIC. PROFESSOR SMITH is the cofounder of XLR8R mag and known for his elctro DJ sets. The A-side is asinister, throbbing electro cut. The B-side is the stand out track, withwarped dub-electro twists and turns, dope synths and tech rhythms.

Having just released a chart topping EP on vinyl only imprint UWAGA, in collaboration with label owner Martin Dacar, Valencian born Bolumar is back with an exquisite four track composition on London based Act Natural Records.

Poise EP is indeed an elegant, balanced release, showcasing Bolumar's excellent production skills and his ability to morph minimal elements into full, expressive and exciting tunes.

The EP begins with Poise', featuring talented Thomas Gandey, who has released on labels like Planet E and Rekids. The tune has an infectious rhythm with groovy samples, a great minimal track which showcases both Thomas and Bolumar's great knowledge and intuition when it comes to composing, as the synths and vocals blend perfectly together and the percussion leads the way.

The second track, Sabeth Swing', follows seamlessly and keeps the delayed synths which will be present throughout the EP, offering a certain kind of spacey feel as the analog and tech sounds alternate.

Side B changes the pace to a faster rhythm, as "EvoO 000" unfolds with its titillating vocals and funky synths, only to slow again with Es Vedra Sunset', a beautiful atmospheric track which perfectly concludes the whole EP, containing all the elements which set Poise EP apart - its artful blend of differing samples and synths married with the deep and immersive layers exploring the minimal, analog side of electronic music.

The release has already gained support from Rekids' label boss Radioslave and Nils Weimann (Subtil Records)

The danish label Echocord Records was formed 15 years ago this year by Kenneth Christiansen. It will now be celebrated with a compilation plus a big tour around it. We are super happy and proud that we can still continue releasing quality electronic music.
The compilation contains 10 tracks from 10 artists that all have been releasing on Echocord and Echocord Colour before from veterans Mikkel Metal, Deadbeat, Fluxion to newer signed artist Arovane.
All tracks are new and unreleased.
"15 Years With Echocord" covers the typical Echocord sound. From ambinet/chillout by STL, stoned dub by Beat Pharmacy, to typical Dub-Techno and House from Fluxion, Resoe and XDB, to the more dancefloor peak tracks by Mike Dehnert and Deadbeat.

* Robert Henke is back with a new album under his Monolake alias. Instead of simply being a collection of tracks, it has a deeper story. Here it comes:
* In the late 1970s, a series of significant enhancements in technology further accelerated the evolution of the digital age. Graphical interfaces, networked computers and new software tools allowed to design and manufacture integrated circuits with tens of thousands of functions on one chip; a process called Very Large Scale Integration - VLSI. The structures became so complex, that for the first time computers were needed to build the next generation of even faster computers.
* As a result of that evolution, the heart of a computer could now be put onto a single chip - the microprocessor was born. It made possible the move from large mainframe systems to personal computers, allowed teenagers to build systems in garages and become billionaires, gave birth to the game industry, and also enabled the creation of completely new electronic musical instruments: digital sound generators, drum machines, samplers and effects.
* Most of the signature sounds on the VLSI album were programmed using early digital synthesisers; machines built by individuals or small teams of adventurous engineers and music enthusiasts during the 1980s, stretching the imagination of what could be done with a handful of chips and a good idea.
* The VLSI album is sonic archeology. Tiny artefacts of the instruments used have been carefully excavated and brought to new light. What was once perceived as limitation and dirt can now be experienced as character, colour and patina. The interaction with these machines guided a minimalist and structural approach to sound and rhythm, expanded and re-contextualised into a futuristic soundtrack, utilising the recording technology of 2016. The result is inspired by early techno, UK breakbeat and dubstep, african dance rhythms, future glitch, ambient and a variety of amazing academic computer music.
* The concept for VLSI emerged during an artist residency at the Center for Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University in 2013, which helped me understand not only some deeper technical aspects of my trade, but also the social and cultural peculiarities of Silicon Valley.
* Thus, the VLSI album is also a reflection of very present social, economic and political topics driven by high tech companies more powerful than governments. The dystopian undercurrent in the music is deliberate.

Growin Music is a new experimental & atmospheric label who's second release comes courtesy of Samuel André Madsen aka S.A.M.

The 'Obsidian Falls' EP from Seattle's Josef Gaard sits at a very fascinating but incredibly complimentary space between traditional techno tendencies and freeform ambient composition and experimentation. Each track seamlessly references each other providing a straightforward sense of cohesion while maintaining a constant and aggressively progressive motion. The EP will guide and gently coerce the listener into experiencing a somewhat altered perspective on sonic and musical expression. Without much notice the listener will effortlessly travel from point "A" to point "C" without realizing they've ever touched on point "B".

As was the case with Blankstairs alum, Archivist, Josef Gaard has played an integral role in the development of the foggy and seemingly bleak techno leaning sounds coming out of Seattle and the surrounding Pacific Northwest as of late. As a curator and active resident for the Secondnature crew Gaard has shared bills with Abdulla Rashim, Silent Servant, Israel Vines, Heatsick, and Mick Finesse among many others. The 'Obsidian Falls' EP is his debut 12" release and a rather successful statement on adventurous music targeted for the mind and the body.

Out with a bang, 'Blitz Magic' is the final release in the Jose Padilla 'Too Many Colours' campaign from International Feel. A carefully curated project, from the selection of producers working on the album (Mark Barrott, Wolf Müller, Tornado Wallace, Telephones, I:Cube and Dream 2 Science), superior productions and remixes to boot, through to the beautiful artwork. Now it draws to a beautiful close. 'Blitz Magic' a Telephones production is the perfect club track to follow the wondrous 'Lollipop'. The original of 'Blitz Magic' is a lovely balearic ride that feels the influence of the all time classic 'E2E4' or in turn 'Sueno Latino'. It has now been placed in the hands of Tambien and Deetron for remix duties. Tambien are a trio from Munich. They are the Bartellow and Public Possession pair Marvin & Valentino who have released on various labels but in recent times ESP Institute and their own Public Possession. They create that intriguing mix where intelligent meets club music such as their Jil Thunder Light Remix. Deetron is an awardwinning Swiss producer and DJ that keeps his soul in Detroit and his heart in warm techno. This sound is perfectly shown in his stripped down remix cleaning out the drums and taking it back to pure club values. As Autumn arrives it feels the perfect time to release this third single from Padilla, the last in a beautiful string of releases that for International Feel have perfectly encompassed the Balearic sound as it is now. Play loud and you'll get the benefits.

José P adilla is loved by many for his work soundtracking sunsets at the Café Del Mar and compiling the seminal Café Del Mar compilations which sold over six million copies. His fans are wide and varied, on one end of the spectrum you have Madonna or Karl Lagerfeld, and on the other DJ legends such as Harvey and Andrew Weatherall. His new album ' So Many Colours' was released on International Feel earlier this summer to great acclaim and is regarded as the most forwardthinking Balearic album of the year.

Alessandro Crimi`s Quantum Realm is the much-loved dub techno track appeared on our last Etui Winter Camp 2 compilation. Long term Etui Records label artist and Abstract Animal founder Monomood delivered 2 massive remixes for this track.
With the first edit he turns the track into a floor orientated techno trip while his 2nd edit offers a more dub vibe with stunning echoes. On the flip side Switzerland based producer Alessandro Crimi shows his love for laid-back techno sound with his Space Cocktail. Etui Records label head Insect O. added some shuffling grooves, dub deepness and analogue flavor in his remix to work well on the dancefloor and even at the beach bar.

Conceived at a poignant intersection of Killawatt's existence, the Fazed EP evokes an introverted and pedantic nature, tailored for the individual over the collective. Produced during a period of self-reflection and change, the EP signifies a positive gear selection in the mind-set and approach to sound design and music as a whole. Debut release on the new Kaleidoscope Jazz Chair Reissues label. First release contains some beautiful and well crafted dubbed out techno by Kit Clayton with his 1998 'Deadlock' tune originally released as the B2 on the 4-Track 'Unreliable Networks' EP (on Silent Servant's label 'Cytrax'), it slipped under many a record buyer's radar. Nearly 20 years later, now that electronic musical tastes have matured and expanded, the time seemed right to re-present, this lush, atmospheric, percussive work out to the heads, deservedly pressed on a full side of 12" Vinyl. Pussy Clap was originally released on the Remote label, set up by Charles Webster, and featured House music predominantly written by Charles and Neil Tolliday, better known as Nail. Jorge Felucca was the alias that Neil used when creating the more dubbed out, techy tracks for the label. Sounding somewhat like a deep house take on Maurizio, 'Pussy Clap' was also released in '98, but had since fallen into obscurity, and the time had come for it to be rejuvenated and polished with an amazing remaster by Pole for the modern ear that is a dramatic improvement on the original.

For their tenth release Appian Sounds move back to a full artist EP and introduce us to the world of o.utlier. The London newcomer delivers four moving productions that will take you on a cerebral journey through delays and phased pads, reminiscent of early Basic Channel/Maurizio recordings. o.utlier signs, with this accomplished 12", a remarkable debut!

A single side EP with a screen-print on the reverse with a suggestive image of the sea of 'Capalbio', a town intimately connected with the rise of Blackwater Society.

* The EP will be initially presented at the 2016 edition of the FLUSSI FESTIVAL where Blackwater began its music journey two years ago starting right from 'Capalbio' and starting musically from that first piece 'Il Mare Di Capalbio' produced by Devianza owner of the label,who made this as homage for FLUSSI. 'Il Mare Di Capalbio' finally will see the light, being pressed on vinyl support exactly in the same month, in the same festival together with the same people that represent the soul of the label releasing the original track and the two different versions of artists PRG/M and Phorm organisers and curators of this fantastic electronic music festival that is considered one of the reference pin of the Italian underground scene.

* Devianza version is a slow, deep and sentimental piece that opens and closes with the sound sampling of the sea taken during the summer 2014. The piece was also written following the musical structure according to the Fibonacci pattern creating a particular rhythmic structure in the central part of the piece. Follows PRG / M version, tool track of high calibration and invoice, definitely more suited to the dance floor for a set with hypnotic and deep veins. Closes the EP Phorm with his experimental version, an high quality production, as usual for him on Blackwater, that put the hat on top of the entire EP giving a complete spectre of selection for the listener.

Four-tracker EP of tracks I found on an allegedly refurbished hard drive I ordered on Russian eBay. Hand-printed linocut outer sleeve. The Dark Past Side is for you at home: A1 is a slow burning, melancholic acid track, A2 an atmospheric ambient excursion. The Bright Future Side on the fip, on the contrary, is made for the club: B1 is a house banger with one of the most fun breaks in a long time, B2 brings you the summer right onto your turntable.

Stepping up for the second release on his own Transcendent label, the unstoppable Conforce offers up four more tracks of studiously deep and moving music that is as filmic as it is atmospheric. His Travelogue EP features four cuts that continue ion the Dutchman's fine tradition of fusing moods and grooves in submerged and aqueous ways.

Maeve 09 is a special record. It welcomes the return of one of the founding members of the label, Baikal. Although the Dutchman has had somewhat of a hiatus from releasing music, his hard work and struggle with the process of creating forward thinking electronic music has always continued. Pelican's Flight' reaps the rewards of this carefully nurtured process and proves most definitely it was worth the wait.

The title track Pelican's Flight' is a mesmerizing ten-minute techno trip. A throbbing kick drum is decorated with sparkling synth lines all moving on their own orbit creating a trance like effect on the dance floor. The pinnacle of the trip hears rasping chords blast through the swell in a glorious moment of elation, in short this is a bomb.

The B-side All Forces Occur In Pairs' goes deeper again, drawing the listener into a similar hypnotic state. Various sonic ideas breathe in and out of the foreground creating a swirl of expectancy and excitement. This track will cause you to close your eyes and be carried away to another dimension...

Pariah returns to R&S for his third single.His debut 'Detroit Falls/Orpheus' marked a turning point for the label, as it turned its attention to a young, new breed of producers on its doorstep in London. The follow up 'Safehouses' doublepack found him mining his influences further and developing his sound over six tracks and became one of the labels most celebrated and best selling recent releases.
Since then he has collaborated with Blawan on the Karenn project which has spawned DJ appearances at the best clubs in Europe, vinyl only releases, remixes and a forthcoming live show, and also delivered one of the stand out tracks to the IOTDXI compilation with 'Left Unsaid'.
The initial blueprints for the three tracks on this new release were created from sampling short wave radio recordings, not the most obvious starting point for making tracks, but Pariah isn't your average or obvious producer. He's gradually building a canon of evocative, beautiful and honest music that is quite rightly receiving both critical and commercial acclaim.

Budapest scene lynchpin, S. Olbricht debuts on Lee Gamble's UIQ label with a sweetly compatible quartet of chiming ambient techno and woozy house trax in the wake of his latest Lobster Theremin LP, For Perfect Beings.
As the label's 4th release after 12's by N1L, Zuli, Lanark Artefax - also counting the recent launch of Lee G's UIQ Inversions series, the ZZM EP rolls deeper into those lip-smacking,
thizzing ends of the night with a key subtlety and firm-but-light touch that works so well on tenderised minds and bodies.
These tracks rank among S Olbricht's most seductive and hypnagogic. From the Terence Dixon-like harmonic suspension systems of 137x3brk and the ruddier, out-of-reach rumble and flickering rim shots embedded in the chasmic headspace of Ktyring on the A-side, thru to wire-woolly texture and glowing chord filaments laced into the 110bpm slug, J_UC.
Finally, the gracefully tilted techno elevation Floa1 which could easily be mistaken as the work of label boss Lee Gamble closes the rotations of side B.

Boris Bunnik expresses "music for an imaginary deep mental abstract excursion" under the Silent Harbour moniker for Transcendent/Echocord. As his multifarious operations have shown, Boris is a dab hand in the studio, and Silent Harbour is the place to find those machine emissions which would never quite reach the 'floor. The four parts of Focus on the Centre of Your Skull draw on a strong heritage of dub, noise, techno and metal yet could never quite be accused of imitating any of them. Rather they cut thru all fields at once to irrigate their own furrow of mutant, roiling drone which exists in a strange paradox of pulsating momentum and aching stasis, eaten away by caustic FX which bluntly work their way in like parasitic organisms.

Weitergang durch Stillstand Von Alexander Lass Simpel, aber kraftvoll, kurz stürzt sich der schwer zu definierende Musiker und Performer Tobi Binär aka binär in kosmische Soundgebilde. Seine erste Vinyl - LP Stern verkörpert den langen und breiten musikalischen Spektrumsweg. Die Person Binär ist eng mit den Schlag- und nicht Schlafwörtern: absoluter Schwung statt halben Sachen verbunden. Der gebürtige Weltenbürger hat in den vergangenen Jahren seinen Lebensmittelpunkt in Wien gefunden und zeigt mit dieser gefundenen Ruhe in der Mixtur auf. Die früheren Vorgänger trotzen und überzeugten, aber gleichwohl durch den fast stetig gut gefassten Klang. Der neue Träger birgt eine alleine mit den gut assoziierenden Titeln first party und the last party, dass dazwischen ein neuer Schwung durch Stern zu erwarten ist. Vielleicht am Beginn ein wenig überraschend für eingefleischte Binär Fans, aber sicher ein Grund Stern zu erwerben.

Human Rays - Stockholm, Sweden producer Robin Smeds Mattila—says that the music on A Tension was made during nocturnal sessions in a studio full of mostly cheap analog and digital gear, all in one take. "I kind of let the mood guide me and just go with it," he says. The result is a gripping fourtrack´suite of emotionally charged minimal ambient that was created quickly but sounds like it was rigorously sweated over for many weeks. After a handful of releases that explored noisy, quasiindustrial techno, Mattila here deviates into a more abstract, melancholy mode with A Tension. His creative process involves experimenting "to see how far I can push a sound with a pretty lofi setup. Improvisation and limitations are part of the thing that makes it interesting." This approach yields riveting dividends right from the start on A Tension. On "Condensity," the sparse pinging and distant, muted beats commingle with what sounds like rough wind or waves, hinting at the Arctic vibes that Biosphere conjured on Substrata. It's at once chill and chilling, tranquil and unsettling. "Between The Hours" places spindly, woody beats beneath a dramatic sweep of synthetic strings, ebbing and flowing like Fripp & Eno's monumental "An Index Of Metals." "Neverendless" might be even more redolent of the North Pole than "Condensity," its severely minimal isolationist ambience suggesting Mick Harris' nonemorecold Lull or Thomas Köner's Permafrost. On "Manual Litany I," Mattila takes what sounds like a sentimental synth melody and smears it into a mantra of compelling drudgery. He notes that the track draws inspiration from William Basinski, who's famous for his series of profoundly poignant Disintegration Loops albums.

An original electronic disciple hailing from New York, Sandwell District's David Sumner a.k.a Function presents his debut album 'Incubation' on Ostgut Ton. Like the soundtrack to a suspenseful Techno-thriller, or retro-futurist Sci-Fi tale, it's a modern sound journey heavy on imagery. Over nine tracks we are guided through the varying moods and scenes of Function's musical temperament. Be it through writhing layered club tracks, soaring string-led atmospheres, or melodic pieces founded on classic electronic traditions, 'Incubation' marks a new level of maturity for the Berlin-based producer. What begins as a lush and blossoming lesson in ambient synth arrangements, with the beautiful arpeggios and waveforms of 'Voiceprint', quickly drops off the apex and into the depths of Function's filtering acid world as 'Against The Wall' unfolds. This metallic, acidic concept is explored further too, in the final moments of the album with the chilling 'Psychic Warfare'. A spiraling, organic surge of warm synth tones and other-worldly arpeggios unravels itself in 'Counterpoint', acting as an early bridge between some of the drum-led studies that follow. And thus, the pressure increases. 'Modifier' presents itself with tight, snaking drum patterns and tense, late 90s kinetic warehouse energy. Opening a path into an alternate, yet not too distant dimension then, 'Incubation (Ritual)' takes form; it's haunting and graceful waves of synths continue the Sci-Fi theme, while the tough modulating bass undercurrent reminds us of Function's big-room Techno appeal. The final moments of 'Incubation (Ritual)' glide effortlessly into the album version of 'Inter', where ethereal melodies and snippets of spoken word surround a classic IDM-Deep-House core. 'Voiceprint' returns as a (Reprise) version, in what could become the crossover club track of the year. Coming on like a classic R&S or Soma release circa '95, the undulating synths are now caught in a rapturous groove, urged on by a perfect 909 drum pattern and forward pushing, precise arrangement. Taking the minimalistic, hypnotising mantra of previous Function 12''s like 'Isolation' or 'Burn' to another level, 'Psychic Warfare' brings the voyage to a a close, it's overlapping, ebbing metallic acid tones inducing equal measures of tension and elation. In the CD version of the album, 'Gradient I' concludes the voyage. Earthy, modulating bass and 808 patterns merge as a cyclic, audio resolution occurs. With a final, intense atmospheric wash we find ourselves re-born, out in the ether, having witnessed an event of great weight and substance. In the final mixing stages of the album Function brought the material to cult engineer and producer Tobias Freund (NSI). Since 1980, working with the legendary Frank Farian, Freund's skills helped bring acts like the controversial Grammy award-winning Milli Vanilli to fame, and he would pioneer early European Techno and Electronica through his Sieg Über Die Sonne project (with Dandy Jack). Function chose Tobias to do his work justice, and add his years of mix experience to this ambitious, succinct and artistic album. Bound in mysticism, forged through experience, 'Incubation' is a bold and powerful album from one of modern Techno's key players. Inclined to hold back, rather than release too much, Function has let his sound develop and mature, fusing analog synths and drums with modern production techniques to create something unique and timeless.

The Kestrel (Turmfalke) will rise in Spring 2015, starting the new label by Matthias Springer with focus on physical media. The philosophy behind is to invite friends to this special cross-over concept. Every artist presents an original in combination with remixing eachother. In the end 4 tracks on one release, no special genre is preset, everything can happen. Frank Hellmond is the special guest on the first Turmfalke release, bringing in his unique deephouse flavour that features some pretty nice vocals from Snowflake, while Matthias is turning it into a combination of dub and acid ... but just have a listen.

To protect the digital integrity all tracks will be re-released for online-media about 5 - 6 months after the physical release. Beside we decided that there is no need for "cool" looking coloured vinyl, so we will keep it black and heavy weight with 180g of pure electronic music!

Originally from Ireland, now living in Toronto, producer and DJ, Neil Mooney, aka Throwin Shapes, developed his wide-ranging sound by immersing himself in Toronto's diverse underground music scene for the last 10 years. Maar, the duo of Michael Vallera (Immune's Cleared and solo works in Opal Tapes) and Joseph Clayton Mills (Haptic), returns with Absolute Delay. The title, defined as the interval between transmission and reception of a signal, encapsulates their aesthetic of fissures, broken patterns, and spatial dislocation. Expanding on the palette that characterized their debut Ceto (Umor Rex 2014), Maar draws even more deeply on their influences—in particular, the warped atmospherics of dub and the severity of minimalist composition—to create something that defies easy classification. Translucent drones and traces of field recordings are deployed to create shifting degrees of focus, while flickering electronics are pieced together in a disorienting mosaic

"City Stellar" by Yan Kaylen is our first artist EP release following up to our debut VA album "Setting Forth" released in the fall 2015. Yan Kaylen is an electronic music artist from Paris, inspired by the Berlin techno and London bass-music scenes. His musical universe focuses on a tribal and minimalistic approach for rhythms as well as ambient, atmospheric, industrial and evolving textures. As a member and resident of the Exploration Music crew in Paris he started playing his own productions live in the summer 2013. He has since played in clubs such as Tresor, Concrete, La Machine du Moulin Rouge or Le Batofar, and has shared the stage with established artists such as Sigha, Skudge, Shifted, Clouds, Paula Temple, Objekt, Truncate, Goldie or Positive Centre. He is also part of the cinematic audiovisual project trio Dasein."City Stellar" is a six track, forty minute, journey through an ominous imaginary city. It starts off with the beatless ambient title track "City Stellar" setting the tone for the entire EP. It is followed by the 125 BPM dub techno-meets-dubstep sub heavy "Suspension Of Disbelief", while "Ancients Colony" concludes side A with an introspective tribal beat. "_Field" offers a moment of cautious rest in an imaginary playground with the sound of children playing in the distance. The pace picks up again with the epic "Mirage X84", a broken beat and lush pads filled techno number which then leaves us in the gloomy "Last Quadrant" not far from where we'd arrived in the Stellar City on the intro track.

Roberto finally debuts on Be As One after having recently joined the label booking agency and main core, and he does it with style. For those that have been keeping an ear on the UK techno sound Roberto should not be a new name by now, having released a series of well received EPs on Artform and Affin, and being a resident at London's legendary Fabric club. 'Hi Tek", a collaborative effort with his pal Chris Page, opens the EP and subtly warms things up for the energy delivered on the B Side. 'Spring Times' is that kind of tune that dropped at the right moment create mayhem on the dark, sweaty floors. Calling Card closes bringing things down into deep territories. Techno is back on Be As

Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia are household names that really need no further introduction. Their dj sets are techno stories well told and their live act is already making waves worldwide. Amphia is first and foremost the platform they use to broadcast their finest works. Such is the case of Sideways, their latest LP, containing more than a dozen tracks coming your way trilogy style.
The first part reveals six tracks on two heavyweight discs. Although most of the tracks fit the usual SIT musical approach, the listener is greeted with a wide pallete of rhythms. Assemble is an atmospheric dub infused with violins and orchestral echoes. Permissive starts things up with a playful bass progression and continues with lush pads and cryptic voices. Brooklyn's deep moody synths and monster groove render it broken poetry at it's best. For sure it will resemble those early danceable mornings. On a more joyful manner we are presented next with Bootcamp's sturdy baseline and playful modulated vocals.
Mandatory claims a whole side of the second disc and so does Come Around. While the first is almost experimental but danceable and warm due to the occasional driving percussions and 303 sounds the latter is the star of the show. Come Around is 15 minutes long and comes with a story too. A great collection of tracks, a great story that backs each one of them makes the first part of the Sideways LP trilogy a treat to listen and dance to.

Adrian Sherwood is an artist, producer and founder of the cult On-U Sound label. Much-loved by other musicians, as well as pioneering his own unique take on dub reggae, he's also worked with everyone from The Slits to Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode to The Fall, Blur to Einstürzende Neubauten. Still very active in the studio and as a touring artist, he has recently released a collaborative album with Bristol dubstep don Pinch, remixed Peaking Lights, and produced albums by Roots Manuva, Nisennenmondai and Coldcut.

Ressort Imprint label founder Ekserd finally steps out of the shades and delivers a more than hefty statement about his vision of Techno's sound.

Not only is 'The Hidden Documents' the debut of young Berlin-based artist Ekserd, it also marks the beginning of a new chapter for the label. More focused on it's own artist's output now, the two original productions follow the concept without the slightest hint of an excuse: 'Our Ressort is set to the dancefloor and nowhere else.' This being stated, I/Y and Svreca both add the final touch to this release with their very own takes on Ekserd's game-changing material.

Gentleless and deep pressure sounds are significant for Maik's musical interpretation - the music should be stimulating you for dreaming. For new inspirations Maik R. leaves himself by other artists and external influences (e.g. society, nature) to enrich.

Born and raised in the GDR, today East Germany, Grg started making music in '94 using analog Equipment.
early 1995, he already played live-sets with 2 friends as Ensemble Acid Paul and later as "grg" on his own. He released on TeKknik Experimental and EAP records.
Still producing with the amazing MPC3k, he never focused on one single Genre. "it's just Electronic Music" he told us. A modest guy.

"Leidenschaft" is very dreamy soundscape based on smooth dub rhythm. Gentle, Subtle. Amazing. An ideal track to open or close the dancefloor. A secret weapon for laid-back moments with friends and a good glass of red wine.
"Klangbaum" feels like a statement. Deep, Dark, Swiss dub. Great stuff if you like the deeper side of dubby tracks.
On the B-side, "Chroma": a track that starts as a very basic yet surprising arrangement evolves in a very clean and sharp gentle melodic danceable track. Works on the floor as well in the background having dinner with openminded and electronic enthusiastic friends.
The second track "Fuer Pe Mi" could be categorized under trance, but it isn't. It's just an amazing track full of warm feelings. A track Grg wrote to celebrate the love between his and his wife. We're very honored he's willing to share this track with the rest of the world. Big respect.

We are proud to introduce you our release number six, this is our first Various Artists featuring the cream of the crop in the spanish techno scene. Chords are the main component in this four tracks, deep techno is the style and the makers are Architectural, UnCUT, Eduardo de La Calle and The Transhumans.

Opening A side, Architectural kicks in with Lightning Conductor, a sonic journey thru the deepest side of techno, solid kick drum and hipnotic sequences
are joined by lush and liquid chords and pads that evolve and change constantly during the arrangement creating a dynamic piece of intelligent music as only Juan Rico can make.

On the second cut, the misterious duo UnCUT provide one of their deepest exercises with Deviant, fat kicks again, solid chords, sharp percussions and melodic pads all arranged on a complex timeline that constantly moves and changes.

On B side, Eduardo de la Calle provides an alogue rythm fuelled chord odissey on Under Divinity Laws, as always with this producer, rawness and deepness join together in harmony with a solid step into tradition.

Closing the release, another hidden duo, The Transhumans, sign Food for Silicon Beings, A solid rhythm beat for starting soon joined by subbass frequencies, pads and of course chords, effected and twisted wisely on a complex arrangement.

That is precisely the case of Molecule who decided to record the wild voices of the Atlantic Ocean aboard a 90 metres long fishing boat. The result is made of powerful and danceable techno beats ("8 ZL 40), tracks that will take you directly to the Atlantic's depths ("Abysses"), and harmonious moments of time off ("Le Jardin' or Soleil Bleu"). The whole of the tracks is captivating and flows naturally as we listen to it. You'll find the song Hébrides, present on the 981 Mb EP, as well as the original version of Rockall that you might have heard already as a live version. British art-rock band No-Man (Tim Bownes & Stewen Wilson w Mick Karn, Richard Barbieri, Steve Jansen, Ben Coleman) recorded Heaven Taste in the studio sessions in summer 1992. It got first released as a complete 21 mins version on Painting Paradise EP on One Little Indian (1993). The track drew attention in the rising ambient techno scene and got played by DJs like Mixmaster Morris.

The track fuses ambient techno with art rock and features a distinctive fretless bass solo by Mick Karn.

This super sound 45rpm 12" features a Steven Wilson edited 11.21 mins version of the original and on B-side Jimi Tenor's rearrange with some solos with flute and keyboard.

Adrian Sherwood is an artist, producer and founder of the cult On-U Sound label. Still very active in the studio and as a touring artist, he has recently released a collaborative album with Bristol dubstep don Pinch, remixed Peaking Lights, and produced albums by Roots Manuva, Nisennenmondai and Coldcut.

Vosnos third release features Simone Gatto along with a remix from non other than the dutch artist Orlando Voorn. The Italian Disc Jockey and producer runs his own imprint Out-Er (Out Electronic Recordings) but was kind enough to share his music on Vosnos Records. On his Moss EP he opens up with The way of life a realy nice off beat dub techno track, which with it´s subtleness, brings a punch to any techno set be it a starter, mid session or end track. Moss gives you an opportunity to explore minimal house at its best. Simone invited Orlando Voorn to interpret The way of life and good on him for doing so! Orlando stays true to the original, which we praise here at Vosnos, and brings it that anthem feel without getting to obvious. It´s a three tracker EP with three totaly different tracks suitable for a majority of sets, house techno and beyond.

J.C. touches down, going to the farthest reaches of the sonic landscape and returning with a portrait of the flying sky. Dark brooding techno with a emotional edge, not for the faint of heart.

We are very proud and honered to release this ep by Function aka Dave Sumner from Sandwell District.

One of techno's true underground heroes, Function (Dave Sumner) has been DJing and making music for over 15 years. Hailing from New York, he was seduced by techno music when Jeff Mills held a residency (as well as his own first) at the Limelight in the early 90s. Dave started to produce music and from the mid-90s onwards, put out music on Damon Wild's Synewave and his own Infrastructure imprint.

Together with Regis (Karl O'Connor) he worked as Portion Reform, putting out uncompromising music on Downwards and becoming the only non-Birmingham producer to release on the label. In 2008 Dave moved to Berlin, still working with Regis, and now Silent Servant (John Mendez), put his focus on the acclaimed Sandwell District imprint.

Obsessed is a supper powerfull floating track for the dancefloor, a typical Function production.

This ep also contains remixes from Substance and SCB aka Scuba, both peak-time tracks.

Micha³ Wolski is a Polish musician, music journalist, radio DJ and tireless promoter of dub techno aesthetics. Eight extended compositions on his new record La Mer' (Sea) recall those special moments when sound becomes a movement of a kinetic sculpture, an abstract painting, or a cinematic report from the Arctic solitude. Personal and introvert, yet simultaneously carrying certain universal message (cosmic loneliness molecular life), sound space created by Wolski manages to seduce listener and inhale her/him for whole 75 minutes. Associations with sculptural work with matter are not purely arbitrary. On his fourth full-length, artist consciously shapes complex and saturated form, further developing - on evidence on his earlier releases - penchant for exploring darker alleys of synthesis and sound design. In his varied and consistent narration, one can find a whole range of references to noblest protoplasts such as Pan Sonic, Rhythm & Sound, or even Vatican Shadow's desert manipulation. However, the key to album's consistency does not rely on the power of quote, it rather manifests itself in sheer scale and depth of imagined atmospheres and non-existent geographies. But Wolski's constructs are much more than a set of sea sound fantasies. La Mer' is a highly individualist vision of new worlds of listening AND hearing, truly deep acoustic ecology in time of overall hiss.

The first vinyl release by Ukrainian label Subself presents the compilation including both label residents and new artists. X EP includes four tracks made exclusively for this release.

It starts with DSCRD's track which perfectly blends experimentalism and techno traditions into nine-minutes-trip gets with a peak by acid bass and distorted modular chords. Vadim Griboedov continues journey with off-beat techno construction balancing on the border of minimalism and nihilism.

On the flipside Rasmus Hedlund present dubby side of Subself with his slowburning Extorter decorated with delays and glithes. Starting things off on a analog journey with Innerspace' we move through an
interstellar universe with detailed grooves full of percussive splatters and echoing synths
that moves us into a dream like state of mind.
Conjuring the jazz planet in Berlin with Katzbachjazz'you are immediately transported
to a galaxy of sound with galloping percussion and a classic techno layout. Using more 909
techno drum elements she creates a whirlwind of sound with a delicate touch.
Taking things a little bit deeper with Cosmic Karma' she presents a heavily detailed
drum structure full of violin experimentation that creates a dark atmosphere but still
bringing an uplifting and joyous vibe.
Finishing off the package is something unique from Fred P who Julie asked to remix for
her due to her enormous respect for him. The emotionally charged remix of Cosmic
Karma' shows a different side of Fred P while still keeping his signature sound in tact.
The remix takes us through an ever-evolving voyage through time and space.
